I am so grateful Papa didn't die 🥰
However....it was still Copia's last show. A fact which still breaks my heart a little bit.
Now I wonder what comes next.
I've heard some theories but I am hoping we get a chapter (YouTube video) with the missing info/link between Copia leaving and he who comes next....
Soon?

Hello. I had a very big little thought about Copia a minute ago. So if you would like to read this theory/ramble about Copia please continue.
So Copia’s papal paint is based off a rat skull, he seems to be the first Papa to have non-human based papal paint. So that in itself sticks out a bit. Ok, so what usually comes to mind when rats are mentioned? The plague, disease, pests, crowded cities, and lab rats for experiments. That’s the one. Alright a lab rat, what does that have to do with anything? Bear with me for a bit, while I slightly change the subject. (This will [hopefully] make sense in the end.) Let’s take a minute to think of Copia’s name. It’s Copia not Quarto (the Italian word for fourth). So what does Copia mean? Copia translates to ‘copy’. That’s kind of weird. Why would he be named copy? Are there more of him? Alright let’s assume there are a few Copia’s just stored in the back of the Clergy. Now let’s toss in the rat thing from earlier. A lab rat named copy. Interesting. Are they performing tests on him? They might be. We don’t know what happens behind closed doors. Ok then let’s peek through the cracks and see what we can find. Hmm. Man they sure do love hinting at his death. That’s odd, they’ve been hinting for years and yet he’s still alive. But would we know if he died since he’s possibly got a clone? How easy would it be to end a man and immediately send his copy back out onto the stage? That could explain some odd behavior. So, I ask again, why hint at his death so much and not do it? Now we get to the second part which is my first draft because I’m writing as I come up with this stuff. So why? Why did they make this copy lab rat man? For testing I guess. Maybe they’re trying to see how resurrection works. (Possibly to bring back a deceased papa?) Maybe Copia is not a man, but a machine. That would explain the whole Phantomime robot thingie. Maybe Copia realized he’s just a duplicate, that could explain that one time he freaked out during Rats. (Please tell me you know what I’m talking about.) That could somewhat explain Stay. (That song gives me so many yandere vibes.) Anyway I went extremely far off the rails. I really hope this makes sense because I wrote this after drinking caffeine at like 9pm. If I messed up some information or if you want to add your own theories feel free to. Remember kids, the line between genius and insanity is pretty blurry, see you later.

Ghost Theory!
The Sunshine Theory:
So you know how we have Sunshine? What if Sister Imperator was the one who brought her in to watch Copia and his every movements? All of us are thinking it could be Aether/Sodo/Rain/Swiss..
But instead it's Sunshine who's the one who unalives Copia at the end of the tour. We hardly know anything about her(sorta/kinda?) but still.
She popped out of nowhere with no warning or announcement at the beginning of Pre-Imperatour.

I have a theory about the first song sung by the Papas characterizing them as characters.
Secondo's first concert song was "Secular Haze" - a song with a dark circus atmosphere, praising the Antichrist. As we know from Papaganda and interviews, he likes wigs, silly costumes and noisy parties, hiding his unhappiness behind this.
Terzo's first song was "From the Pinnacle to the Pit". His life path follows the path of Lucifer and Icarus, even the last word sung by him on his albums is "falling" ("Bible"). The higher one soars, the longer it takes to fall, the theme of hubris and the giddiness of success all reflect Terzo.
Copia's first song was "Rats" (acoustic performance). Rats prowl everywhere, small and inconspicuous, and bring death. I think he may have identified with death, as his reign began with the murder of the brothers. And as a bastard, he may have felt like a small animal, despised by all, but capable of revenge.

Secondo Emeritus - Naples
Primo | Secondo
Tumblr media
Naples. My beautiful Naples. My beloved, adored Naples. It is the city where I studied and grew up in and it is also literally filled with mysteries and legends. I thought Naples would have been the perfect formation place for a young Secondo Emeritus. Let’s see what may have influenced and inspired him in his religious journey.
1 - The musical church.
Tumblr media
Ghost’s music has always been heavily loaded with the Devil’s Tritone: also called Diabulus in Musica or Devil’s Interval, it is an unsettling dissonance produced by an unusual arrangement of notes that gives that spooky, devilish tone to music. In Infestissumam, it was featured on 9 out of 10 songs. The use of the Tritone was banned in Medieval times (In Ghost, its use dramatically dropped with Prequelle, with only 2 out of 10 songs featuring it). So what if I tell you that, in contrast, in Naples there is a church that functions as a musical score, whose music protects it from evil?
Basically, there is a church in Piazza del Gesù that has a particular pointy ashlar on the external facade. Under the side (the one facing the ground, so if you look up from the street you can see them) of each of these little pyramids are carved symbols, which turned out to be Aramaic letters that were later translated into musical notes. So, it turned out that the whole church is a big score, and it’s playable. The whole melody, called Enigma, was played for the first time inside the church to celebrate the discovery. You can hear the music here (sound quality is not the best).
Will it protect the church from Ghost’s music?
2 - The skull cult.
Tumblr media
Naples has very intricate underground galleries, almost all visitable. One of these is Cimitero delle Fontanelle, a famous catacomb where the remains of about 40.000 people who died from plagues are stored. It is said the “anime pezzentelle” cult was born here: it is a particular relationship each Neapolitan establishes with a chosen skull. You literally adopt an abandoned skull, which according to our tradition is the seat of the soul, and your duty is to care for it, protect it and also create a special niche for it. In exchange, the soul of that skull will protect you.
A nice place for a Bone Daddy.
3 - Pretty and Evil like Mergellina’s devil.
Tumblr media
Knowing the passion our Secondo has for women, here is a story about a very devilish one.
In Santa Maria del Prato church, in the Mergellina area, there is the only representation of the devil as a woman in a painting.
The legend has it that said woman was the beautiful Vittoria D’Avalos, who seduced the Bishop Diomede Carafa, who commissioned the painting in 1542 to represent his victory against the woman’s lust (we're all believing him, right? 🙄).
Now that story has a way of saying that refers to femmes fatales as “Pretty and Evil like Mergellina’s devil”.
I’d say she may be considered among the first-ever Sisters of Sin.
4 - Who gives life can also take it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Infestissumam is filled with references to birth and Jesus, turning it into the birth of the antichrist and creating a narrative that is completely opposite to the birth of the Son of Man. Now, in Naples, there is a statue that embodies both concepts.
Back to Piazza del Gesù: On a very high pedestal in the center of the square stands a statue of the Virgin Mary, the Mother. That's all... until you position yourself at a specific point in the square and look up to see the statue transformed into the Reaper. His face is hidden by the cowl, staring straight at you, with a sickle at its feet and a snake crawling on it.
Depending on your point of view, the giver of life becomes the taker of it.
5 - Body and Blood… but especially blood.
Tumblr media
What never stops to fascinate me about the relationship of Neapolitans with religion is the very thin line between devotion and pure blasphemy. It is the case of the “miracle” of San Gennaro’s blood. It happens twice a year and it consists in bringing the Saint’s blood in a liquid state again (after centuries it is obviously solidified). The particular thing is that during this ritual, the worshippers (and the priests too) literally insult the saint to convince him to make the miracle happen, because if it doesn’t work, it means that something terrible is about to happen.
(Last time it didn’t work was right before the Covid pandemic 🙂)
I’d say this could have been a great inspiration for Body and Blood and Idolatrine.
Honorable mention to the fact that I have lived 32 years now on this Earth and I never attended this event even though I would like to.
Bonus: Now, I said that Dante would come back in the chapters, and he is. In fact, not only Virgilio died in Naples (and he is the protector of the city) but, apparently, the gates of Hell Dante mentioned in his comedy were located on the Averno lake, near Pozzuoli, not far from Naples.

Why didn‘t i realize sooner?
The empire is built. And the next thing that is going to happen is the fall. Because everything is circular… cyclic… cyclical..
Gah you know history repeats itself and every empire that is built falls it‘s just a matter of time.
Guys THE EMPIRE IS GONNA FALL!!!!

Phantom is naturally very curious and loves to learn stuff. From the moment he was taught to read he could often be found with his nose buried in some book completely oblivious to the world around him.
It was a very cute habit to the other ghouls at the start, but there's only so many times you can be woken up by a hyperactive ghoul at 3am and have the primordial soup explained to you before it loses its charm

Haha my brain is idea-ing! So what if like Mountain ends up growing different plants on him depending on who he’s just been in physical contact with. With Fire ghouls, he gets moss and ferns, since those grow back first after a fire. When it’s a Water ghoul he’ll end up with a more swamp situation and possibly some algae on the other ghoul. If it’s an Air ghoul then he obviously gets some air plants and possibly a fresher Air ghoul as well because, you know plants are good for the air. Since technically Quintessence/Aether isn’t a on plane of worldly existence, I’ve decided Mountain will grow mushrooms if he comes in contact with one of these ghouls. And it’s always a surprise what Mountain will grow when he’s with the Multi ghouls. Maybe all Earth ghouls can do this little growing trick as well, idk.

I had a revelation. Look at this.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dante Alighieri versus Secondo.
SOMETHING IS THERE. This might have been intentional. Look at their noses and profile. They are strikingly similar.
I always thought Secondo looked familiar, but I never could figure out who it was (not just Pitbull) until just now. It hit me like a ton of bricks when I realized. I’ve seen Dante’s death mask in person, as well as several other works depicting Dante. Their faces are definitely similar, especially the nose. I can’t be the only one who sees this.
Tobias may have done this intentionally, but I don’t know for sure. Am I the only person who’s noticed this?
And to further expand on this theory, wouldn’t it be cool if Dante Alighieri was the founder of the Emeritus line? There’s no precedent or evidence for it, but it’s an interesting concept.

Okay so I think it's time for another spaghetti theory:
Lilamoth isn't collecting moms. She's collecting sisters (or siblings)
Let me explain my thought process here. So a big complaint the fandom has is that we don't have a proper rogue gallery for villains. It's just the butterfly, and nothing else. It worked for early seasons, but things might be getting stale for some folks.
Enter new characters connected to Lilamoth somehow.
So she has 3 moms so far (that we know about.) All but one have something in common: dark hair and blue eyes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
From left to right we have Mrs. Rossi (red), Mrs. Bianca (white), and her third mother who is deaf could possibly be Mrs. Verdi (green).
Tumblr media
Then we have this fourth lady that we see Lilamoth watching on her phone in the season 5 finale. I would NOT be surprised if Odille is going to be her 4th mom. Dark hair and blue eyes, and she is also disabled, just like her third mom.
(And I would not be surprised if we find out her surname is Nero (black), or Viola (violet). More on that aspect of this crack theory in a bit...)
Anyway, back to the concept of a rogues gallery. In the finale we see Lila in a disguise that 's VERY reminiscent of one of her moms:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Certainly she can't expect to disguise herself as a woman in her 30's-40's, and especially not with glasses and bangs. But she can pass reasonably as a teenage girl with a dark bob and glasses. You know, a sister.
So we know a certain main character whose name is in the title and wears red with black polkadots has dark hair and blue eyes. We don't know Lilamoth's motivations and and end goal, but we can surmise that she wants to take the place of Marinette.
(And I KNOW I've seen at least one other person theorize this, and I cannot find the post(s) so if you can find it please let me know so I can link it here!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The pictures we see is one of Marinette with her classmates on the Liberty where Zoe is accepted in the friend group, Marinette with her parents, 3 pictures of Marinette with Kagami, and one picture of Marinette with Luka.
It's interesting to note that there isn't a picture of Marinette and Adrien together shown to the audience. You'd think they'd emphasize that, but no, it's mostly Kagami. I know it's because it's because the episode focuses on Kagami, but still. Other than her, it's just Marinette's parents, Zoe and Luka (Luka! Marinette's ex!) showcased in the closeup screenshot.
I got sidetracked! Anyway, I think other than similar coloring (and color-themed surnames haha) Lilamoth is trying to find other teenagers who are willing to join forces with her. She probably will get her hands on some Miraculous for them, somehow. But I don't think the new jewels will be from the Chinese box.
Here's where things start REALLY going off the rails with this theory:
All of Lilamoth's rogue gallery of villains are her adopted sisters (or siblings) and they are all Luka's exes. He's got a type for Italians with dark hair and blue eyes...
Going back to the surnames, all the surnames have something in common: they share the colors of all of Adrien's various transformations over the course of the series so far:
Rossi: Mister Bug
Bianca: Chat Blanc
Verdi: Aspik
We're just missing Chat Noir (could possibly will be the surname Nero, as it's Italian)
and Ephemeral (it's interesting to note that the surname Lee in Chinese can mean plum, which of course, is purple)
So naturally, my crack theory circles back to Lukadrien is endgame.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
{{{{{{Edit as of April 3, 2024.}}}}}
I will NOT be surprised if this girl with black hair in an extremely recognizable style is a disguise of another sister.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Is Lilamoth collecting blackmail to manipulate them later? She's very obviously walking disguised in areas where there would be lots of cameras (The inside of the Agreste mansion, and the hotel).
(Edit as of April 27, 2024!)
Now we know the synopsis of the London Special, I believe the disguises are to hide Lilamoth's tracks because she knows Maribug's identity. Bonus points if these girls were previous Ladybugs in past time lines that Lilamoth stole the identities of...
