Wukong and Macaque end up practically moving to the Celestial Realm for the time beong, not to join the Celestial Body like Azure believes, but simply out of convenience and because of the revelations about their family history that were revealed to the entire Celestial Court during Azure's coup.

With such accusations thrown at Wukong regarding his heritage and the Jade Emperor not denying it, the Celestials all but demanded a rest to be done to verify Azure's words It wasn't the first time someone tried to claim to be a royal or noble's reincarnation or related to someone's reincarnation, and there are tests and trials in place to verify. When the test came out positive, Wukong was now officially confirmed as the son of Sonzi's first reincarnation and that sort of Pandora's Box cannot be closed. He is now, by spirit and blood, a member of the royal family and entitled to everything that comes with it.

That and his consistent health issues mean that despite his and Macaque's reluctance to be in Heaven, Macaque still had his community service to do and Wukong needed time to recover and to deal with a lot of bureaucratic bullshit what with him now being recognized as a Celestial Prince, it's just easier for the new family to just stay where they are to deal with all that and a commute from Flower Fruit Mountain. Plus after the coup the Jade Emperor and Xiwangmu are very reluctant to let their newly discovered grandson and great-grandson out of their sight.

Nezha and Erlang were personally overseeing Macaque's community service (lots of cleaning the horse stalls bimawen-style) when the Brotherhood strikes.

So when Azure comes before the Celestial Court with Princess Songzi's Scrolls claiming that Sun Wukong is a lost Celestial Prince, Heaven is missing its two biggest warriors.

And when Peng appears, clutching both Wukong and his cub in their talons, Macaque isn't there to go kaiju on them.

The Celestial Court demands a test be done to deny the Brotherhood's claim, especially when the royal couple start sweating nervously at the accusation.

The Jade Emperor does something no one would ever thonk possible; he kneels before the Brotherhood to ensure the safety of Sun Wukong and his cub.

And after the coup is dealt with (courtesy of a released and furious DBK + a sympathetic Yellow Tusk), the monkeys still have to keep their "temporary" home in Wukong's old attendant quarters for the time being while the heat dies down. And for the monkeys health since Wukong us still recovering, and Macaque's own "condition" is discovered (note the latter is the only reason DBK hasn't turned Macaque into paste).

The Stalwart laugh when they learn about it. They had been trying to ease Wukong into leaving the island the last few centuries (barring his stasis), and now he's a whole Realm away! XD

For the ask game! Ramattra?

The man who got me my first 1,000 note post. Yeah I got the think thonks on him for sure.

One aspect about them I love

He's not as inherently cruel as you'd expect him to be. In fact, he's hardly cruel at all. He takes time before a mission to get to know his human teammates and is even willing to socialize with them, despite his apparent hatred for the species. Given how we know people who hate Omnics treat their Omnic teammates before a fight... It's rather surprising I think.

One aspect I wish more people understood about them

This is one I see in a lot of X Readers that make me regret making that gif but look. Guys look.

Just because a man is big with a deep voice does not mean he's going to walk you on a leash and call you his mutt.

Ramattra is not a dominator of any kind, sexually or otherwise. He's the only Overwatch character who actively kinkshames that very specific thing. He hates that Genji follows Zenyatta around like a little lost puppy, actively calls him disgusting over it.

He is not a violent person either. He didn't want any of this. He doesn't want to lead armies and have other tremble under his thumb and do every little thing he commands.

I'm just personally very tired of the Violent Dominate Ramattra X Readers... he's a softie actually... I would like more overrun with anxiety because he has no clue how humans work and actively fears hurting them on accident Ramattra X Reader...

Headcanons I have about this character

I've said this one to a handful of friends but one of my instant Ramattra takes is that he is constantly, beyond his control, scanning for threats around him, and all Humans as perceived as threats to his internal scanners. He's always hyper aware of the humans around him, how they're moving, breathing, speaking, their critical weakpoints, any potential weapons they may have, etc etc. To the point that he struggles to distinguish an ally from an enemy human while in the midst of battle.

Everything he does that might seem odd was in effort to appear more... Friendly to humans during his time in the Shambali. He's a very big Omnic, not the biggest, but bigger than average, and his model type being Generals in the Human Killing Army is enough to put everyone around him on edge, which he of course picks up, and it puts him on edge. So he does weird human things like Breath, Stutter, Hum, Cough. Anything to make himself a little more human.

He hates a lot about himself. He hates how big he is, he hates his original purpose, he hates the human traits he picked up and can't let go, he hates that his default is violence, he hates the sound of his voice when he yells, he hates the constant threat display in his head, he hates his creation and his creator and the brother who made him feel welcomed like he could be accepted despite all these things he hates about living as himself.

I don't think he wanted to lead an army or extinguish the human race. But it's what he was built for, and if no matter what he does people will only ever see him as what he was at the start, then why try changing that? He's on a self destructive mission, yes to save his kind, his dying race, his family, but also just to get away from the fantasy he'd built up of being someone different than who he is. Someone smaller and gentler and more... human. That clearly can't happen. It's not an option for him.

I think Ramattra's a Trans Woman.

One character I love seeing them interact with

I really love his interactions with Bastion!! And Zenyatta as well!!! I know it says one character but they way he speaks to them both is so!!!!!! Cute!!!

The little twigs comment in his canon interaction with Bastion!! The lore and bond he had with Zenyatta in the past!!! God it's my everything!!!

One character I wish they would interact with/interact with more

My friend @ow-old-men got me really really into the idea of him interacting with Orisa (curse you OW2) and just. Experiencing the world along side her. Two Omnics made for violence redefining themselves in familial rolls

Does Orisa know what a woman is? No. But she's still the first one to use She/Her Pronouns for Ramattra because she knows.

Headcanons I have that involve them with other characters

Orisa is Ramattra's egg cracker this is why Blizzard won't let them interact

I think he's the reason Mondatta was assassinated. It was part of the deal with joining Talon, he agreed to assist them if they could take Mondatta out. It was a deal he regretted making almost immediately

Because of his hostility to humans, Maximilien is required to be in every meeting Ramattra is in, for his personal comfort.

Do they actually talk? God I hope so. I hope they kiss on the mouth while they're at it. But also I think Ram would hate Max, because he's just too human. Ramattra has no room to talk though, what with his bad habit of breathing and all that.

Akande really likes Ramattra, likes his manner of holding himself and his conviction. Ramattra hates Akande and really really really wants him to leave him alone.

I think the idea of Ramattra figuring out Reaper's identity and constantly threatening his life is incredibly good fanon content that should continue

Zenyatta, for a very long time, hated and was more hostile to humans than Ramattra. This is why Ramattra brought him to the Shambali, to get away from humans.

had sudden funny thonks abt my ocs last night while falling asleep so putting it down while i still remember them somehow:

anyway, Maria being the way she is, has probably created a version of chess that's basically that. fucking meme about 5d chess with time travel game from steam (but less whack bc as smart as she is, her opponent not necessarily so)

she calls it Dreamer's Chess, and the way it's played is that you actually predict your opponent's move on the board. essentially, you're moving for your opponent rather than yourself - and it becomes an escalating call-response of making moves based on what your opponent thinks YOUR moves would be. or something like that.

bc of how complicated this can get, the chess board doesn't have to be a full-sized board though. and chess pieces with traditional movements and rules (i.e. capture the king) don't have to be used either.

the simplest way this game can be played is more akin to tic-tac-toe, just you're predicting and drawing in the circles/crosses that you think your opponent would.

anyway obviously only Maria really enjoys this monstrous creation of hers, and she only ever plays it with Aster - who, as her partner and biggest bestie in the whole wide universe, is also the only one who doesn't mind playing the game with her and can play it well, bc he knows her mindset well enough to be able to deduce how she would play at all.

as noted, this game is less about tactical gaming (though it's still there, vaguely), and more a litmus test for how well you know the person playing against you - otherwise, a way to build a psychological profile of them and potentially even yourself, by observing and analyzing what moves and why your opponent, who is moving based on their own perceptions of you, is making the moves that they are.

I've already shared a few of my fav headcanons but I absolutely have more-

Starting off strong: He absolutely still cares a lot for Raven. Not a day goes by where he doesn't miss what they used to have and wonder if they can ever work on getting it back :') He misses a familial figure in his life. He has a lot of platonic friendships sure, and he loves them very dearly, but despite everything no one gets him quite like Raven.

Next up- Qrow was the one to cry the absolute hardest when Ruby and Yang were born. The realization hitting of the fact he was going to have a family of his own hit him so hard he didn't stop crying about it for weeks. Every time he got to hold them the tears just started streaming and he could not stop them! Even now when he thinks about how little they were he could cry about it all over again. He just cares for them sm 💕

Back when him and Raven were kids, Qrow was always the one to get hurt or eat something he shouldn't have. Growing up in a forested area, being young and wanting to venture, they absolutely climbed the highest trees, tried to find the biggest sticks or dared each other to do X or Y. He also absolutely has developed a mild poison immunity after all the questionable things he's eaten as a child, think mushrooms or strangely delicious looking rocks 😂

Well, I mean... you guys all know I am in love with the Delhi Durbar and nothing would give me greater pleasure than seeing Camilla wearing it again, but I'm not really sure. I've given up all hope :D Maybe she didn't like it or maybe it's very uncomfortable and super heavy... I don't know.

I would be happy with another tiara, too. There are some lovely ones in the vault that we haven't seen in a while and which would surely look lovely on her.

But with all the chaos going on in the UK and across the world I am not sure if we're going to see tiaras at all. I'm all here for it, but I'm keeping my expectations low. I'll count myself lucky if we're going to see her with the honeycomb :D

I simply have more of it than I need socks

But speaking of sock plans..

The biggest one is of course finishing the pair of beige spiral ones

But then...

1. Neon lime and lemon - a pair of "matched mismatched" socks with contrast toe, heel and cuff

2. Yet again contrast toe, heel and cuff, but with the hand dyed set in peach and teal. They are gonna be so delightfully marbly

3. I have some skeins of Regia Pairfect and I'm not afraid to use them!! Except uh. I can't bring myself to just. Cut and throw away the yellow divider yarn. So it's part of the socks now

4. 8ply Opal skein is gonna give me a delightful pair of thicker socks :3c haven't gone above 6ply yet so I'm excited for those

5. This one I'm Thonking about, but.. I have a couple hand dyed gradient yarns that are separated in 50 or 40 gram cakes. They might become socks, or they might become sleeves in my sock yarn sweaters (held double). Probably the one with 40 gram cakes is more likely to become socks, as that's about the amount I need for a pair (I don't usually knit them tall)...

6. Almost forgot but! Another kind of Matched Mismatch socks - this time with colourwork. Which I've never done on socks (and barely done in general). Also Gruendl yarn with cashmere.......

This still gives me MANY socks! More than I usually wear! But also.. there's even more yarn that is Definitely Not For Socks (sweaters and shawls though? Yes!)

I’m 100% sure there’s artists out there who’d be fine doing a commission where someone didn’t have the clearest idea of what it should look like. The biggest thing is people who do that but then turns out they DO have a clear idea so get frustrated with how the artist drew it differently. But on its own there’s no problem with you not being able to think of the details! Part of the whole point of art commissions is making an idea real.

I can’t point you in the direction of a specific artist open to commission, just wanted to put in those cents in case it helped.

I mean, Executor is outright destribed as struggling with appropriate emotional responces due to growing too numb to things? And his fighting style is quite similar in terms of blind adherence to orders (just not yours) except that he is a bit more self-aware (kind of a must with snipers) and actually does decisions in battle instead of. Mowing everything coming at him blindly. I mean. both apparently are specialy prepared special units for their organizations. Parallels disturbing.

Oh, I actually didn’t know about that regarding him! I know very little if at all about non-Global characters, so this is really cool and Definitely Some Parallels, which only makes it better because I can only imagine how an interaction would go between the two at a dorm or something.

S: “I don’t mind, what is it?”

E: “Oftentimes, during operations, I see you sort of just going through the motions, not really quite there in the middle of a fight. Maybe it isn’t what is the norm, but it is indeed what is your norm, if that makes sense.”

S: “That said, would you like to go dissociate in the battlefield together?”

E: “Sure, can’t hurt.”

And then they 2-unit 400-kills fully cleared Lungmen Annihilation while heavily dissociating, the end.
