i figure the doctor’s probably aware of the fourth wall on, like, an intellectual level? they can’t really sense it themself, but timesquid theoretical physics has long known they exist in a fictional-from-a-certain-perspective multiverse, and the doctor’s picked up enough over the years they’re aware of at least the basic outline of the concept. there’s a little doohickey on the tardis console that tells you whether you’re on tv, in a comic, in an audio, whether you’re in an officially licensed story… not that those are how the time lords frame the concepts, but the doctor does have a vague idea that their adventures have an audience, even if they’re not entirely clear on its nature

Something I spend way to much time on but I love. yes there are letters, yes I embroidered them, and yes I really like detail and I rarely go half on anything. I also put them on a grey hoodie to go with the theme.

I really wanted geeky letters and with it being sewing and I thought it would be fun, and good practice. am also a academy era fan so I had to make 13 the theta. and I didn’t even realize I made her pink until I was done, my brain was just like yes that look good it match her shirt.

[ID 1st picture is thirtheeth’s outfit in the shape of a theta with the stripes on her shirt as the line that goes across the O, it have a board of silver and then pink thread that match a stip on her shirt and that border is in a strange stitch. 2nd picture is the Tardis in the letter K with the side of the Tardis in the stem of the K and the rest of the space is Space with sliver stars. it have a sliver board and then a blue on and I different stage embroidery stitch, and the 3rd picture int the inside of thirteenth’s Tardis in a A with the console as the line in a big A.:ID]

I just rewatched David Tennant’s doctor regeneration into Matt Smith scene and I totally forgot that the Ood sing him a song as he goes. It’s one of the first times in a long time where he’s alone it’s Christmas, he’s scared and struggling to stand and “the universe sings him to sleep”. Even when he doesn’t have a companion the whole universe sings him to sleep, he’s never truly alone the universe is thanking him for his sacrifice and care in his last moments.
