GUYS WE GOT AN UPDATED SYNOPSIS FOR THE OFFICIAL ENCANTO COMIC COMING OUT

let me dissect this!!! Ok so it seems it’s not just one storyline like the previous one about the bully? it does say vol 1 making me think it’s multiple short stories slice of life style (COUGH this would make a perfect animated series) secret visions? I cant tell if that’s a reference to the movie or if there’s more secret visions? MAKING NEW FRIENDS AHHH!! this one got me excited I can think of so many characters it applies to like mirabel, camilo, Antonio, luisa, dolores. in my heart I want it to be about isa because hc she doesn’t have any real friends because like Mariano everything was to keep up madrigal image! I want Isa to have friends🙏 talent shows!! is this gonna be rat shows or family shows? imagine the whole family having a talent show stop!!! Felix would win btw! “Tall tales” I’m assuming that could be the bully thing since that refers to lies eg someone lying about a madrigal for personal gain or smth. let me know your thoughts !!!

Ok so I was looking through old miraculous concept stuff and it really shows how much they fumbled Adrien. Apparently early drafts of Adrien wanted to be a doctor, which could have been interesting for his character when you factor in that his mother was sick before she "disappeared/died" and it's likely doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong, maybe Adrien wants to be a doctor to figure out what happened his mom was suffering from and maybe to help other people avoid that same situation.

This also sparked an idea for how Adrien's being "pefect" could have been used for this character. Maybe since Gabriel puts so much pressure on Adrien to be perfect and maintain this perfect image, Adrien has a lot of repressed anger and he has to keep in check. Also early verisons of Felix had him do boxing, maybe it's something Adrien does in secret as a way to help him vent his anger and become something he actually enjoys or maybe he could do breakdancing as a refer to the breakdance au (it's probably one of the oldest Miraculous aus and was one of the most popular)

Him being a doctor I do really like, and it seems it's an idea the fandom had picked up on early on, as the most popular ideas I saw for Adrien's future was him being a teacher, or a child therapist. Doctor or therapist is now one of the top two picks I like in what he may do in the future, as both do have merits to get the ball rolling. Though I do also like the idea of him getting into acting since he does dabble in it in canon, and he is quite a showman. And season 1 wise, yeah he did really like to dance.

From what I remember when I was watching s2 and from what I've heard and seen, it is kinda a shame he doesn't break out into dance anymore. It really added to Adrien's character as a model, as he stands so still but he himself is someone who likes to be animated and in motion, so him loving to dance and able to do so as Chat Noir just added a nice touch to Adrien. So it's a shame it seems like that aspect diminished.

Learning that Felix boxed, I am not too surprised, as boxing was/is regarded as a gentleman's sport (idk if it still counts?), and older concept Felix gave off that air of sophistication and poise.

I don't know if Adrien would box though, at least, not while he models for his father. Boxing does come with a risk of damaging your face and that would not be good for photo shoots. Felix it's unclear if he modeled at all, we don't see it, so presumably he didn't, which could allow him to box more easily.

I know Adrien did study some sort of martial arts when he was younger, though he quit. Fencing now seems to be his go to sport, I've heard some say he incorporates it into his fighting style, but I don't have enough knowledge on that to say for sure. I just know he doesn't use a staff correctly as a weapon, at least going off Rogercop.

Btw, Alya is my go to pick on who may be into boxing, and now I want to see a boxing match between her and Felix.

HI Lynx, I LOVE this question! Sorry for the wait, but first I had to gather enough visual references and gather my thoughts so I wouldn't be fangirling all the way around, sorry 😅 (btw sorry if some of the images look like shit, I made these collages on paint 😅)

I think my most obvious/recent inspiration is Haruko Ichikawa. No long ago someone (hi Jay) mentioned that my characters are quite elongated and have very long necks, AND I BLAME THIS MANGAKA FOR THAT! (what drawing gems for two years does to a mf). She has such nice panel composition and has this trope going on in most of her stuff where a character looks like a normal human, but it's actually some sort of inhuman being, which leads to really interesting (and almost surreal) body horror that it's oddly beautiful in it's own way (ngl all the artwork of the gems characters being shattered to pieces has such a morbid quality to them, a but it's so pleasing to see and draw...). Very good stuff.

Have I mentioned that I LOVE creatures? I have a weak spot for monster design, SPECIALLY the animal types with human/humanoid faces and weird taurs. My fav artists on this domain are @silicon65, with his creatures that transmit such a melancholic feel to them (and lots of critters with human faces!); @bwubwuart, with VERY unique creatures that still feel grounded in reality thanks to her knowledge in anatomy.

There are also manga artists such as Ryo Sumiyoshi, who has such an appealing way to design creatures and furries (and has written peak human/monster relationshipscofcof), and Ryoko Kui, who doesn't really need introduction, but I feel it's still worth mentioning that I love the diversity in design when it comes to her most humanoid characters.

There are two aspects of @ccasino's art that I really enjoy, one being THIS particular shading/rendering style that gives an uncanny feeling to some of her pieces, and the other being how transformative she can get, even if it's the same muse in some of her art. That's really inspiring, I need to step up my game.

And since we're talking about creepy stuff, I love deadlymelodic's (Molly Brown), art for two reasons: in one part, there's the terrifying creature designs she paints or sculpts, but there's also the characterization. You see, along with those very scary renders, there are also the cutesy doodles that (if I'm not mistaken) include their canon personalities (I love when a creature is also a character, if you get what I mean). So, while pretty much all of them look very creepy, very few of them are actually evil, and that's beautiful.

In a similar vein and to finalize, there's Q Hayashida, whose love for masked characters (as well as buff/creepy characters) I 100% support. But there's also how she writes relationships/bonds?? One of the things I really enjoyed about Dorohedoro is that despite all the gore and weird fucked up shit going on, there was still this level of silliness an the different depictions of familial/platonical bonds. I would call it quite wholesome if not because those characters are quite messed up on their own way, and will later kill brutally some guy, but you get the idea. I really enjoy that kind of stuff.

So yeah! there's that! Special mentions as well to transformers/mecha art, Felix Colgrave, Junji Ito, weirdcore, low-poly 3D models and that type of vintage art that has that grainy (airbrushed?) texture to it. Thanks for asking, and now you know!!~ ✨

Chapter 45

“Hello.” The friendly voice came from Eugene’s left. He looked over just as a slim female form stepped out of the shadows. It was the abnormal psychology student he’d hired in the failed bid to replace Kiefer’s crew. 

“You? Haven’t you finished that thesis paper yet?” Eugene asked. 

“That? Yeah, like almost a year ago.” 

“What are you still doing here, then?”

 “I received a research grant to continue the study.”

 “Oh,” Eugene said. “Well, can you untie me, please?”

 “Umm, I really shouldn’t.” 

“What do you mean you shouldn’t?” 

“I don’t want to contaminate the study. It’s like anthropology—I need to stay hands-off.” 

“You’re joking.” 

“Oh, no. Do you have any idea how lucky I was to stumble onto a cult right at inception like this? Outsiders don’t usually learn about new cults until people have gone missing for a long time. This is a unique opportunity to track its evolution in real time, I don’t want to screw it up.” 

Eugene stood slack-jawed as the realization dawned that this girl was just as crazy as Kiefer.

Did he miss the part where the girl said that she’d been given a grant (aka money) to keep studying this? Do you know how many scientists would jump at the chance to do their dream study? The girl probably peed her pants with excitement when she was offered the grant. 

“Sorry for the delay, Felix. The entire planet had to go change pants.”

Chapter 45 summary: As I’m sure that you guessed, Eugene was able to wake up and get in touch with the right people. It was really down to the wire, though. But they managed to destroy the alien ship, so earth is safe for another day. 

I’m at the point where I think I would have preferred it if earth had actually been destroyed. 

Epilogue

“I’ll have a glass of red wine,” Allison said. 

“Water will be fine,” D’armic said. 

“Thirty-weight motor oil,” Magellan said.

 “I, um, don’t think we have—”

 “I meant it in jest, Administrator Graham.”

I can’t believe that I laughed a second time. 

“No.” D’armic’s smile grew until it engulfed his entire face. “I did not.”

Epilogue summary: All of the named humans plus D’armic meet up at Eugene’s house to celebrate the fact that the earth wasn’t destroyed. They know that the evil aliens are likely gearing up to come at them again. However, their case isn’t exactly made better by the council, who are basically sitting on their hands and being useless as fuck-all. 

But, that’s a story for another day. Which, BTW, I will not be reading. (Not like it was about that, according to the summary.) So the group sits down to eat, drink alien moonshine, and generally be merry. However, since there was zero character development, and barely any plot… I kind of don’t care and found even these last few pages to be a chore to get through.

He's killing and being the perfect son to his family, sheltered and raised to believe the outside world is terrifying and wrong and they're all going to hell so whats the point in keeping them alive. He's the one reaching heaven, him and his family will be the ones laughing when the time comes. But then he gets out accidentally, meets people, finds out what the real world is like. And suddenly he realizes he's trapped. His parents are finding out and calling him a hellspawn, horrible, the worst offspring they could've possibly hoped for. And they decide that if he can't be useful alive, he must pay for his crimes as a sacrifice to their god. AND HE'S TERRIFIED. He's pulling anything and everything together, trying desperately to pull together something that will save him. And then suddenly, rising from the floor and towering above him, a figure cloaked in blues and greys, tilting their head at him. And he's sobbing in relief, holding onto the end of their robe and begging for safety, protection, anything. And Jupiter kneels down and holds his face, reminding him the price to be paid. And he just shakes his head and continues begging. He doesn't care, just save him, please please save him. And so they do. He signs the contract, and suddenly Jupiter is gone. It feels like nothing has changed. What happened? And the next day, when he's being dragged to the altar, strapped down and threatened with the knife held high, he's calling for Jupiter and begging for them to save him, promising that his new friend will save him and free him. But they don't. He dies. He dies and his soul is dragged all the way down to hell, where he finds himself stood in front of the very deity who he sold himself to, made to be in their image. "I had to let you die.. I can't protect a soul from the living world. Only in death can I keep you safe." AND FELIX REALIZES THE MISCOMMUNICATION AND OH FUCK ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! And now Jupiter is the calmest most overprotective parent to have ever existed :3

felix. hes like.. when he was alive, his family was involved in a cult. and he was regularly killing and sacrificing people bc he was raised to believe it was normal. but then once he realizes this is all kinda fucked up, he panics and throws together some kind of ritual to call any kind of deity or something, anything that isn't the terrifying god he was taught to revere.

and then he meets my other oc :3 he accidentally summons Jupiter, a hellborn overlord who's been around almost as long as hell itself. they were one of the first beings created in hell. Lucifer and Lillith created a group of overlords to help rule over hell, and they were one of them, and they're one of the only ones left. so they and luci are like besties to lovers fr. anyway. felix summons jupiter. and jupiter is like, "Oh no honey whats wrong :(?"

"I DISOBEYED MY FAMILY AND THEYRE GONNA KILL ME???"

long story short, jupiter makes a deal with felix to offer protection in exchange for his soul. so then he dies anyway and is living with jupiter, who is essentially his overprotective parent now. and bc of the protection pact felix inherited some of jupiter's space motif. and then felix is finally like "i wanna be independent!" and goes off on his own then ends up at the hotel at around the same time angel shows up.

And then he gets closer to Angel and Husk when he shows up. And Angel is seeing how sheltered and protective Jupiter is over Felix and he's like "Okay buddy we're gonna go fuck shit up." AND THEY DO FRIENDS TO LOVERS TOO.

And yes, some of this was copy pasted from me explaining them before but can you BLAME ME. it's a lot... NWJFHDGD

Cypress - How does this yandere comfort their upset darling?

Before considering this question as it applies to a darker version of Felix, I am of the opinion that while he is an incredibly caring and loving individual, he isn’t an empathic person. He's not going to necessarily read or understand your emotions the way you might hope. That’s not to say he wouldn’t want to listen to your problems, understand why things bother you, and comfort you when you’re in need, just that he doesn’t naturally connect in that way and it would be really easy to suffer miscommunications as a result. He favors action over emotion, changing what can be directly controlled rather than ruminating on the intangible. If you have a problem, there must be a solution. 

This gets very messy very quickly in a toxic relationship where it’s in his best interest to remain blind to your feelings even when confronted with them. I think the most likely reason to be upset in a situation like this would be because you’re in love with an aggressively obsessive man who’s endlessly paranoid about losing you. And Felix is self aware, he knows full well what he’s doing by keeping you in a controlling, domineering relationship. The obvious lie he tells himself is that his actions, destructive as they might be emotionally, are necessary. Prioritizing action over emotion. Your feelings cannot be controlled (you would be just as likely to be unhappy without him than with, right?), but your physical safety and well being can be managed. By him. Only him. So, if you were to express that you’re upset with your relationship or his behavior, it would be treated very coldly and negatively—possibly combatively. The worst case scenario for how he would “comfort” you is a full on fight where he meticulously points out why he’s right to be so possessive, that you can’t survive without him, and how weak and childish you seem. For what it’s worth, I do think this would always be followed by a period of genuine remorse where he tries to make you forget everything and prove his love and adoration. Notably, Felix would never out and out try to justify himself to you. His excuses are all his own, he knows that they’re paper thin, but he also doesn’t feel like he should have to explain them to you. He will apologize when he goes too far, but not for the underlying reason you’re actually upset. 

More often, he’ll probably try and find another cause for your unhappiness, something that can be fixed or at least something more manageable. If necessary, he’ll try his best to fix your problems materially. You know, the type to beat a man half to death because he made you cry and then caress your face with bloodied hands, telling you that he took care of it (nevermind what “it” is). Despite everything, Felix is still a caring and loving person. He doesn’t have you entrapped in a disastrously unhealthy relationship for nothing. He does listen and as long as you’re not upset about anything sensitive, he definitely cares and is willing to hear you out, hold you while you cry, and do things to distract you. Felix trying to comfort you would be cute on the side of clueless, especially when it comes to gifts. "I'm sorry you're unhappy, here is a new sword." Peony - How shameless is this yandere? Do they care about their public image and or private image, and how does that affect how they treat their darling?

Felix knows that there's, generally, a way he should act as Duke Fraldarius and he follows that. Public displays of affection would be very uncomfortable for him anyway. Physically, I can't see Felix doing anything more scandalous than putting a hand on your back or holding your hand/arm. Verbally, there's definitely less impropriety. He is a snarky bastard. If somebody is flirting with you (although, let's be honest, flirting can mean somebody even looking at you the wrong way) he'll loudly point it out even if it means embarrassing you. If he feels you're wandering too much, he'll demand you come stand by him, or order you around like a child. Or a dog. It's not about humiliating you or even for his own pleasure, from his standpoint it's necessary. There are few people more vulnerable than the loved ones of important political figures, if you're not acting with proper care, he'll exert his control over you to ensure your safety. It's all perfectly reasonable and has nothing to do with jealousy. If it happens to make him feel a little flash of satisfaction at how easily you obey him, that's incidental.

Hydrangea - How would this yandere react if their darling gave them affection? What is their internal thought process like?

It begins with Felix freaking out at the unfamiliar discomfort of being vulnerable to somebody. Stiff, uneasy, uncertain of himself. It wouldn’t really take long for him to get hooked on affection. Hugs, hand holding, and cheek kisses—the holy trinity of weakness for an emotionally and physically repressed tsundere with trauma relating to neglect. Obviously Felix tries to play it cool, acting like it doesn’t melt him whenever you bury your face in his chest or entwine your fingers with his, but internally he’s trying to commit every detail of it to memory just in case. He grumbles when you throw yourself at him for a hug, but he’ll squeeze you so tight you can’t breathe. Sure he won’t look you in the eye when he tells you how much you mean to him, but when you say it back, the love he feels for you is overwhelming, even suffocating. That’s why he’s doing all of this in the first place. Unlike many other yanderes, there is no artifice to Felix’s interactions with affection, even as the relationship degrades into something very twisted. He never uses it or interprets it as anything less or more than it is. He doesn’t even use it against you in arguments, or hold it over your head when you say that you’re unhappy. Your affection is sacred to him.

Magnolia - Would there ever be any time that the yandere would reflect on their actions and wonder if they should stop/change their ways? Or do they always believe themselves to be in the right?

Felix constantly reflects on his behavior, but he buries that pretty deep. Since his main justification for keeping you as a glorified prisoner is your safety, and that you could not possibly be safe in any other circumstance, it would be pretty hypocritical for him to let you go. It’s not that he thinks he’s right, although he does for the most part, it’s that Felix is an absolutist for the ends justifying the means when it comes to your safety. It’s not like his perspective is without merit. Even if you were to leave him, you already have a target painted on your back and could be used by any of his political enemies. You are, genuinely, in too deep to just leave him. Worse, if you died because of that, it would be his fault. But then, all of that justification is meaningless compared to the very fundamental driving force of his actions: Felix can not and will not consider a world without you in it. He’s a traumatized, vulnerable man who has lived for so long simply trying to be recognized as his own person and when you say his name, he feels seen. When he lays his head on your chest and hears your heart beating, feels the warmth of your skin, listens to the sound of your voice, he feels a profound sense of purpose that’s utterly unlike his loyalty to the crown or dedication to becoming stronger. No matter how terrible things can be, his need for that feeling, for you, is too devastating to reconsider the path he’s taken.

“Did you guys find anybody?” Felix asked, as the number of players still showed just 7 of them. They could just start now, but the game would be way more fun with a full lobby. 

“Yeah, Lily’s joining. I just texted her the code, so she should be here at any moment.” Sykkuno replied after receiving a text message from the said girl. “Oh, and Corpse also said he’d be joining soon.” 

“Great. Anyone else?”

 “I think Jack was also bringing someone, right?” Dave asked.

“Huh? Oh yeah, I have one coming, she’ll join us in a few” the asked man replied at the same moment Lily’s character appeared in the lobby. 

“Who you’re bringing Jack?” 

“Y/N” he said, causing Felix to gasp in shock and yell into his mic:

“How the fuck did you manage to convince her? I’ve been bugging her about this game for the past week and she always had some excuse!” 

“What can I say, my charm is irresistible” Jack replied nonchalantly, causing everyone in the lobby to laugh at his fake deep voice.

The number of participants changed to 9, as a little black astronaut with horns on his helmet appeared in the lobby. 

“Corpse, you’re here!” Rae’s character ran up to the man, circling him excitedly. 

“Hey man!”

“What’s up, Corpse?”

“Hello everyone” his deep voice sounded out “Sorry to keep you waiting.”

“All good man, we’re still waiting for one person.” Felix reassured him “Sean, why is she not here yet? Are you sure you’ve sent her the right code?”

“Of course I am!” he all but shouted at Felix “And about that, she just texted me to give her a few more minutes and that we should start without her.”

“We can just wait, right?” Lily offered, earning a few hums of approval from the others.

“I think it might take a little longer than a few minutes, she has some problems with her microphone.”

“Who are you guys talking about?” Corpse asked, completely unaware of who Jack was referring to.

“Wait, Jack, you mean Y/N from Y/C/N?” Sykkuno asked suddenly, only then realizing why this name sounded familiar

“Yeah, the one and only” Jack replied, a smile evident in his voice.

“Oh my god, I love her videos!” Rae exclaimed at that “She’s so funny and sweet!”

“Yeah! Her new video is so freaking cute, I wish she’d upload more often.” Poki agreed. 

“Right?” Jack said, clearly very proud of his friend. “But don’t let that sweet demeanor fool you guys cause she’s one of the best players I’ve encountered in this game.”

“That’s true, she’s a secret big brain genius” Toast confirmed, making Pewdiepie gasp once again. 

“wHAT??YOU TWO PLAYED WITH HER?!” Felix’s offended voice boomed through everyone’s headphones “HOW DARE YOU. HOW COULD YOU NOT INVITE ME?!” 

“That’s for not inviting me to your latest Cringe episode!” Jack was quick to respond, making others in the lobby laugh at their mini fight. 

“Oh, so that’s where I recognized her from!” Sykkuno nearly shouted when he finally put two and two together. “I can’t wait to meet her, she seems like a really nice person.”

“She is! When she got impostor for the first time she refused to kill me” Toast explained, earning himself a couple of Aww’s from his friends. “So we just ran around the emergency button until I called the meeting and voted her off.”

“Yeah, only to be her first victim in the next game.” Jack all but giggled, clearly very amused at the memory of Y/N going into a full berserk mode. No one except for him and Toast knew how good she really was at this game... 

“She’s basically the wolf in sheep’s skin” Felix concluded with a chuckle “Very soft wolf, however.”

“She’s like the complete opposite of Corpse, both in voice and personality” Jack suddenly said, making Felix laugh wholeheartedly at something only two of them understood at the moment. 

“I don’t know how should I take that” Corpse admitted with a chuckle. He remained silent for most of the conversation since he didn’t really know who the guys were talking about. But he would lie if he said he wasn’t intrigued by this girl at least in the slightest. Although he heard about her channel, he hasn’t seen any of her videos, so he didn’t really know what to expect. But hearing what gamers like Sean and Felix said about her, he knew he’s not gonna be disappointed once the girl joins them in the game. 

“Imagine Corpse and Y/N talking.” Felix said suddenly with a seemingly very amused voice.

“Imagine Corpse and Y/N both being Impostors” Toast said, which resulted in many of them shouting over each other at how crazy that would be. 

“Alright, now that you mention this I start fearing the moment two of them meet” Jack confessed with loud laughter following the sentence. Corpse chuckled deeply under his breath, at the same time glancing at the questions his audience was asking him in his stream. He could hardly read any, as there were quite a lot of people asking, so all he saw was just a bunch of comments moving at the speed of light in his chat. He wouldn't say it out loud, but he was slightly nervous, seeing the growing number of people watching his stream. It was still a rather new thing to him, and he feared he'd say something inappropriate, or just make a complete idiot out of himself. 

"At least no one can see me..." he mumbled under his breath after muting his microphone. 

"Oh! Y/N just texted me! She's joining the call right now!" 

"Fuck yeah!" Felix shouted excitedly "Just so you know Jack, I won't forget that you two played without me."

"Uh-oh. Is that a threat? Are you threatening me now?" 

"It's a warning" Felix replied, receiving a series of gasps from other players. "If I get impostor, you're the first one on my list."

"Okay, everyone heard that! You know who to vote off when I'm dead!" 

"It's so cool to play with someone new, I wonder if she's as good as you guys depict her" Sykkuno spoke up, but before anyone could answer his question, a new character popped up in the lobby.

"Hi everyone! I’m sorry I left you just like that, but this stream would be completely useless without me being able to answer your questions. Fortunately it wasn’t anything serious, I just had to readjust my mic and go through the settings to find what was wrong. Took some time, but here I am now!” Y/N chirped into her microphone, smiling apologetically at her webcam. At the moments like this, she really appreciated how supportive her audience was. No one was hating on her when she had to get off the stream for a couple of minutes, and everyone was just so understanding that it made her heart melt. Perhaps her audience wasn’t very big, but it felt almost like a second family to her. 

“Anyway, as you already know from my twitter, today I’ll be playing Among Us with my friends and their friends! I can’t wait if I’m being honest, last time I played this game was so much fun, and there was only a few of us.” she admitted with a genuine smile on her face. “Let’s just text Sean now so we can get into the lobby...”

Y/N: Ready to play with you guys ^^

Jackaboy: Great! You got that mic fixed already? 

Y/N: Yes, everything is fine. I’m sorry you had to wait so long.

Jackaboy: It’s all good kiddo, no worries. I’ll call you and send you the code in a sec. 

Y/N: Perfect, thank you Sean :)

Jackaboy: Btw, everyone can’t wait to meet you ;-)Y/N stared at the screen for a moment, only now, seconds before joining the group, realizing how nervous she felt. From Sean’s tweets she saw earlier, she figured that the lobby was right now full of many famous streamers, those she wouldn’t even compare herself to. It’s not that she thought of herself very low, but... being among such youtube celebrities like them made her panic a little bit. She didn’t want to look like a complete fool amongst them. 

Playing or recording with Sean and Felix was something else because she knew those guys for years (and yet still sometimes found herself thinking how lucky she got to be able to call them her friends). She felt good in their company, not worrying about choosing the right words. But amongst the rest of the players, she knew only Toast and talked with Rae maybe once in her life... 

What if the rest won’t like her? 

Y/N cleared her throat, realizing that she was still staring at her phone like hypnotized and her audience was already asking her what’s going on. She quickly typed in the code Sean had texted her and readjusted her headphones, before joining the discord chat.

“THERE SHE IS” screamed Sean, making her grin from ear to ear, hearing how excited he was “Little wonderchild!”

“I think you meant little TRAITOR” Felix corrected him with a scoff. A silence settled in the lobby as everyone was waiting for Y/N to speak up.

“Um... hello everyone..” she said softly, almost inaudibly, a sudden wave of shyness taking over her. “I’m Y/N” 

“Oh, you were right about that Corpse thing!” replied another, also very soft and very sweet voice, and Y/N saw the image of someone named Lily pop up. “It’s like the exact opposite!” 

“See? Told ya. Everyone, meet Y/N/N, the little angel from Y/C/N.” 

“Hey Y/N!”

“Hi there!”

“Hey, what’s up?”

“H-Hi, so great to meet you, Y/N!” a very friendly sounding voice said, and a little lime astronaut with the name Sykkuno above it started running around her. “Can’t wait to play with you!”

“That’s so nice, thank you” she replied with a wide smile on her face, moving around his character as well. “I can’t wait to play with you too, actually with all you guys. It’s so great to be here with you.”

“Jack I swear she’s the cutest little thing I’ve ever heard. Where the hell did you find her?!” Poki all but yelled at the man, making Y/N giggle to herself and in-process loosen up a little bit. They all seemed like someone she’d happily be friends with. 

“Or rather, where do you get one?” someone else commented, making them all burst into laughter, Y/N included. 

“Guys, what did I say about that sweet demeanor...” Jack said after calming down from his fit “Don’t put your guard down just because she sounds like that!”

“Wait- what did you tell them about me?” Y/N asked confused, the tone of her voice making him laugh even more “Jack!”

“Don’t worry, only the good stuff” a very deep, low voice spoke up, leaving her taken aback for a moment. Her eyes widened slightly and she glanced at the name of that person, reading out CORPSE. Now that’s something she didn’t expect... 

“Corpse, mind your manners! You didn’t even introduce yourself!” 

“Oh, shit- yeah, sorry. Um, I’m Corpse, it’s very nice to meet you Y/N” he replied right after, making her lip corners curl up into a smile. 

“Nice to meet you too Corpse, you have a really pleasant voice.” she spoke sweetly, completely unaware of the chaos that was taking place in her stream chat. She didn’t even think of it the way her audience did, she just simply spoke up her mind, and being an incredibly nice person - turned it into a compliment.

“Oh- wow. I mean, thank you so much. I love your voice too, it’s really sweet” he replied, nervously chuckling at the end, before muting his mic. It was, however, enough for Felix and Sean to start teasing him, as the two immediately screamed:

“SIIIMP!!!”

“It’s the voice Felix, I told you he’d fall into her trap!” 

“Wait- he was just being nice, guys! Stop making fun of him” Y/N immediately defended the man, trying to speak up over the hysterical laughter of the other players. 

“Oh my god, but what if they both get impostors and they both pull the voice cards on us?!” Rae managed to yell through all the noise, making Y/N even more confused.

“Wait, what? What do you mean? I don’t understand.” 

“Don’t worry Y/N, that’s how I feel all the time around them.” Sykkuno seemed to be the only one who heard her question, as the rest continued their gabbing without giving her as much as a glance. 

“Alright, let’s start the game maybe. I might have a few old scores to settle” Toast cleared his throat theatrically, his astronaut coming face to face with Y/N’s. 

“Oh, you mean me? I thought I already apologized!” she replied frantically. “You gave me no choice Toast, I didn’t even want to kill you in the first place...”

“BUT YOU DID. IN THE VERY FIRST ROUND” 

“I’m sorry!” 

“Alright, enough! Toast, just don’t kill her right away, okay? Let her run around the map, fearing for her life for a moment.” Y/N gasped upon hearing Jack’s words, clearly sensing the smirk behind his voice. 

“Wha- Jack?! Since when are you against me?!” 

“Don’t worry Y/N, I won’t let them hurt you. You haven’t played with us yet, I’ll protect you.” 

“Oh, thank you so much Sykkuno! I’ll protect you too!” 

“Great. Another one simping...” was Felix’s last words, before the game began. 

Y/N sighed in relief upon seeing the word crewmate forming on her screen, but at the same time feared Toast’s inevitable revenge. She thought they'd already buried the hatchet, but it seemed that he was desperate to make her pay for the last time they played together. 

“Aw, Sykkuno was serious” she mumbled with a smile, when his lime astronaut started circling her white one, so she would follow him. “Okay, let’s do some tasks.”

They both made their way towards the medbay, Sykkuno patiently waiting nearby as she did the scan, then Y/N waiting for him to do the same. The moment his little character stepped towards her, a meeting was called by none other than Felix.

“What happened?” Rae asked.

“I called the meeting because I’m afraid of Jack” he responded, causing everyone to laugh. “Seriously though! Dude’s been following me around the whole time.”

“I was just making sure nobody kills you.”

“Yeah don’t go all Sykkuno on me!” Felix screamed, making the call erupt into even more laughter. 

“Alright, are we skipping?” 

“Yeah.”

“Guys, my life is in danger!” Felix wouldn’t give up. “Come on, show some support! Y/N? You played with him, you know his techniques!” 

“Sorry Felix” Y/N giggled, clicking the skip button. 

When the next round began, Sykkuno was quick to join Y/N on her way towards admin, where they both found Poki doing the upload. They did the card swipe and left her there, when the lights suddenly went off.

“Uh-oh. Let’s head the opposite direction, Sykkuno” the girl murmured, dancing around his character and heading towards Comms instead of going to Electrical. It was the easiest way to die, after all. 

Once they entered the room and waited for someone to fix the lights, Y/N could see another figure appear in the same location. She couldn’t recognize whose character it was, but upon seeing the horns on the helmet she smiled to herself.

“Hey there, Corpse” she said, walking up to the black astronaut, who was standing still in the same place as if he was just watching her and Sykkuno run around Comms instead of doing their tasks. 

They stood like that for a couple of seconds until Corpse turned around and ran away, and that’s when the first body was reported. 

“Oh no, Jack!” 

“Poor guy. He’s gonna haunt us now.”

“Where’s the body?” 

“Navigation” replied Rae, who was the one to find Sean’s green astronauts’ body “Didn’t see anyone around, but I’m pretty sure someone just vented right in front of my eyes...”

“Any suspicions?” Toast asked.

“Um, not really sure, it was the exact same moment the lights went off. I was doing tasks with Jack and then he just died. I only saw the vent close, nothing or no one else.”

“Okay, where are you guys right now?” 

“I’m in admin with Dave, we only passed Poki when we got there.” Lily’s voice sounded out, quickly being joined by Poki’s explanation.

“Yeah, I was finishing the upload when you guys came in, Y/N and Sykkuno saw it”

“Did you see her?” Toast asked, addressing his question towards the white and lime astronauts. 

“Yes, we were doing the card swipe before going to Comms. Corpse joined us for a moment and then left.”

“Yeah, I was on my way to fix the lights when I stumbled upon them in Comms, the body was reported the exact moment I left.”

“Can someone confirm this? I mean, did someone see you besides the two of them?” Toast continued his questioning. 

“I think I only saw Felix in Medbay.”

“Hmm, so no one really knows where you were this whole time. You could easily lure Jack into Navigation and kill him there. Is that what you did, Corpse?”

“Woah, that’s some serious accusation” Corpse replied in his usual, low and calm voice. “Where were you Toast? You seem the only one who still doesn’t have an alibi”

“Neither does Felix.” Y/N spoke innocently, and the mentioned man quickly started his explanation.

“Okay, I was with Jack at the beginning but he clearly can’t confirm this since someone snapped his fucking neck. We’ve split up in O2 after doing our tasks and then he must’ve gone with Rae. I just wandered around the map, escaping from the death.”

“Hmm, so not only were you one of the last people to see him alive, but you also admit to not doing your tasks” Y/N said, trying her best to keep her voice steady and stop herself from laughing. She was sure Sykkuno was doing the same thing, they both refused to do any tasks after the lights went off, after all.

“Yeah, but does that already makes me an Imposter? I’m just scared for my life, that’s all.”

“Y/N has some good logic, but I’m not really sure it’s Pewds. I mean, I saw him in Medbay and he really seemed to be just jogging around.” Corpse said, his voice almost immediately doing its magic, as people more or less willingly agreed to skip this round as well. 

“I think it’s Felix. I mean, I haven’t played with him yet, but I have this feeling that he’s just acting.” Y/N said to her chat after muting herself. She went towards Weapons to do another task, seeing Sykkuno’s little character follow her once again, but the doors were suddenly locked and his lime astronaut remained in Cafeteria. “Oh no, Sykkuno” she sighed with a pout on her face, deciding against waiting for him and risking getting her neck snapped. She finished her task in Weapons and moved towards another location, when suddenly Corpse appeared in front of her, coming right out of nowhere. 

“Oh- Corpse, you scared me to death” Y/N breathed a laugh, watching as his character stood still for a couple of seconds, before circling around her white astronaut. Y/N nodded her head with a smile, even though he couldn’t see her, and followed him in Shields, where they found Poki’s dead body. 

“The body is in Shields” Y/N replied right after reporting the body, only to gasp in shock when she realized more than one person was killed. Red crosses decorated not only Poki’s name but were also visible next to Dave and Lily. 

“What the hell?!” Felix all but yelled into his mic, obviously shocked just like everyone else who was still alive. 

“Now that’s... a lot of bodies” Sykkuno mumbled under his breath. 

“Alright, who’s in Shields? Y/N, you said you found the body there, which one?”

“Poki’s, Corpse was there with me” her reply was followed by his short and low hum. 

“Sykkuno, where are you? I didn’t see you anywhere since the last round.” Felix asked, clearly accusing the lime astronaut of being a murderer. 

“I was... doing the wires in electrical, Toast was there for a moment as well.”

“Yeah but I was only searching for the body, so I saw you maybe for a second” Toast replied, building even more suspicions around Sykkuno.

“But- guys, you know I wouldn’t kill two people in one round, let alone four of them.”

“No one says you did that, I only mentioned that you were nowhere to be seen. You could’ve been sabotaging the map for the other Impostor” Felix said nonchalantly.

“Guys, I-”

“It’s him! It must be him!” Rae shouted through her mic. 

“Sykkuno is 100% innocent, I can vouch for him” Y/N’s voice sounded out in everyone’s headphones “We were together since the start of the game and he didn’t kill me, even though he had quite a number of chances to do so.”

“Weren’t you with Corpse this time?” Felix asked suspiciously.

“I was! But at the beginning, I was with Sykkuno, until someone locked him in Cafeteria. That’s when we split up.”

“And you haven’t seen him ever since?”

“Well, no, but-”

“Then I can assure you it was only a matter of time before he’d stab you in the back” Toast concluded, making Sykkuno gasp in confusion.

“Wha- No, I would never do that! Y/N is our guest, I was just making sure she was okay!”

“Sykkuno, simping won’t save your life right now” 

“Wha- I- Guys!” he tried to stutter out some logical explanation “Y/N, don’t believe them!”

“I don’t, I know you’re innocent! C’mon guys, he wouldn’t do it!” 

“Yeah yeah, let’s kick him out. Corpse, who are you voting?” Toast asked, and Y/N could see the I voted sign next to his character. 

“I kinda feel like Felix tries to shift the blame onto Sykkuno. He didn’t even tell his location, and was already throwing accusations on someone else.” Corpse replied after a moment, making the smile widen on Y/N’s face. Someone was finally on her side! 

“That’s because he can’t even explain himself!” Felix exclaimed, voting as well. 

“Besides, I’m pretty sure if it wasn’t for whoever locked that door, Y/N would be dead as well!” 

“No, I told you I-!”

“Guys, we have ten seconds to vote. Rae?” 

“I think it’s him as well. He was acting suspiciously since we started this round. I vote Sykkuno”

“But..!” 

“No, Sykkuno...” Y/N whispered with a pout on her lips, when she saw the number of people who voted for her lime friend. 

Sykkuno was ejected. 

“Alright, I’m pretty sure it’s Felix. I saw Rae multiple times and she didn’t kill me, Toast also doesn’t act very Impostor like, but maybe that’s just one of his strategies... Corpse is with me again, I don’t think that’s him, I mean, he followed me around last round, but still didn’t do anything, and even vouched for me and Sykkuno when we were both clearly chilling in comms. It can’t be him... right?” 

 Dead body reported.

 “I just saw Corpse kill Toast, then vent!” Rae’s voice blared through Y/N’s headphones, as she looked in shock at the red cross next to Toast’s name. If not him, then..?

“What?” the accused man asked calmly “That’s a self-report, she’s trying to frame me. You guys can’t possibly believe her.”

“I believe her. I saw you enter the Electrical with Toast, then he’s suddenly dead” Felix said. 

“That’s because she vented in there and killed him.”

“No! I swear, Y/N/N you have to believe me!” she directed her words towards the girl who remained silent during their discussion, processing her accusations over and over in her head. “I was fixing the wires, Toast was doing another task, and then boom! I see Corpse snapping his neck!”

“How could you see that if the lights were off?” Y/N suddenly asked, making Rae cut her own sentence off “No one went to fix them, they were off the entire round.”

Silence. 

“It’s Rae, it must be her” Corpse couldn’t help but laugh wholeheartedly at how small was the mistake which completely blew Rae’s cover. “We’re voting Rae, right Y/N?”

“No! Guys, I mean, let me explain, I-!”

Rae was ejected. 

“Now that was something I didn’t expect. I would’ve never thought it was her, I even suspected that Sykkuno might really have been the other Impostor, but now... It’s just me, Corpse, and Felix. Her eyes suddenly widened when the realization hit her, and she quickly turned around to speed towards the emergency button. Fortunately, no one was around to stop her from calling the meeting.

“Felix.” Y/N started, trying to contain her excitement and sound seriously “Where were you when Sean was killed?”

Neither Corpse of Felix said a word, as it was probably the last question they expected her to ask. Felix cleared his throat, however, and finally replied:

“Y/N, that was literally the beginning of a game. How am I supposed to remember what I did then?”

“Well” she said nonchalantly “I, for example, clearly remember the things you said even when we were in the lobby.”

“What are you implying?” 

“Wasn’t it you, who told everyone that Sean was your number one if you get Impostor?” she asked with a wicked smile on her face. Felix was dumbfounded, he obviously didn’t expect her to pull that card on him, hell, he didn’t even know how she knew about it since she wasn’t even in the call at the time. 

“FELIX” Corpse suddenly broke the silence, simultaneously breaking the said man from his train of thoughts. 

“Okay, first of all- YOU WEREN’T EVEN IN THE CALL WHEN I SAID THAT” he yelled through his mic, making both Y/N and Corpse laugh, as it only confirmed their suspicions. 

“See? You only proved my point.” 

“Oh, fuck’s sake- I was just joking okay?!” he tried to defend himself, but hearing how he couldn’t even contain his own laughter anymore, it was clear he already accepted the defeat. “It wasn’t serious, god damn it!” 

“You know what to do, Y/N” Corpse’s voice asked through her headphones, and surely, she knew exactly what to do.

“C’mon Y/N, that’s not fair! At least let me explain myself!” 

“Bye Felix” she said in an overly dramatic tone before Corpse voted as well. 

Soon enough, the sign VICTORY could be seen on her screen, which made her squeak and joy. This game was really fun, even though she was so scared of being killed first. 

“I knew it! I knew you would figure out it’s him! That son of a bitch who murdered me!” Jack basically yelled out, clearly very happy about the result. 

“Y/N, seriously now, how did you know I’ve said that?” Felix asked without even hiding his surprised tone.

“Let’s just say I might’ve stolen some of your viewers, Felix” she admitted, winking at her webcam, a new wave of comments landing on her chat. “Thanks guys!” 

“Okay, that is rude and not fair!” 

“It helped me win, so I’ve got nothing else to say” Y/N grinned from ear to ear, before muting herself for a moment to finally answer some of the questions from her chat, while the rest took a quick break to eat something or go to the bathroom.

She was halfway through telling the story of how she met Sean when she noticed she got a message from a private discord chat. 

CORPSE: That was really impressive :)

Y/N smiled to herself upon seeing his text and quickly typed out the answer. 

Y/N: Thanks!! I wouldn’t have done that without you though, you stood up for me and Sykkuno and all

Y/N: Also, thanks for protecting me from being murdered ^^

CORPSE: No problem, I knew you were innocent right away. 

CORPSE: Anyway, good game, Sean was right saying that you’re one of the best players

She couldn’t help the blush that arose on her cheeks, it was very sweet of him to say that, even though she didn’t actually do much except for exposing Felix. 

Y/N: I wasn’t an Impostor though, so you didn’t really see much :)

She watched the three dots beside his name, that signaled he was still texting. The chat was completely forgotten, but people seemed to quickly notice that small, shy smile on her lips, and the pink tint decoring her cheeks.

CORPSE: Okay, now I’m intrigued... 

Y/N: Maybe we’ll both be Impostors one day ^^

CORPSE: Can’t wait for that to happen.

Soon enough, they returned to the lobby to begin another game. Y/N glanced at her chat for a second, and the moment she returned her eyes to the game, her jaw basically dropped. 

IMPOSTOR was written in bold letters in the middle of the red screen, right above her name.

ah yes, a japanese release. it’s just that the lyrics just scream chan energy from my perspective. the ‘call me, i will always come’ just fits his image and his message to his fans and the members. his willingness to protect and comfort others made me choose 'call call call'.

'thanks' has such a special place in my heart. the song is basically about the members thanking the fandom for their support, which is so so cute. i chose this song for minho because of the cheorography, actually. maybe is not the deepest reason, but i love it with my whole heart. the sign language inspired moves are so touching. but also that key point where they cross their pinky fingers as a promise and because all of the svt members are wearing their rings, making it look like a promise between them (the members, the hand with the ring) and the fans (that being the finger without the ring) is just genius. and because lee know is such a good dancer and because we know he loves his fans a lot, i saw it as a match.

lean on me is my choice for changbin because is a hip-hop unit song but also because, when i see the title, i think about something. i noticed a lot of people see changbin as a brother figure, someone they can lean on, basically. which is so sweet. and so, when i was doing my 'research' and i saw 'lean on me' i thought this is it.

'fearless' is one of my all time favourite svt songs. it’s so catchy, the choreography is so cool and the pipeline between it and fear adds to my lifespan. i chose this song for hyunjin because the lyrics give off such strong and powerful energy and i feel like he was and still is so strong despite all the hardships that he had to go through.

we heard about women written by men and men written by women, but now we introduce songs that sound like they were written by han jisung. obviously, ‘i can’t run away’ and han’s songs are unique and beautiful in their own way, it’s just that my silly little brain made a weird connection. anyways, i can’t run away is also a hip-hop unit song that is mainly vocal, which is fitting for han who is a vocal and rapping genius.

Part 13

The next day was a hell for him.

Felix was trying to distract himself as much as he could, but nothing worked.

He wanted to start planning on getting the second ring from his uncle. He saw it the first day they arrived on Gabriel’s hand, but the next day it disappeared.

Of course the designer didn’t want to leave it so close to Felix, but it could only mean the ring was here, and he just needed to think the plan through and proceed...

But planning wasn’t an option today.

Sunday was usually the day they wrote to each other a lot, but today was an exception. Marinette was silent, and he couldn’t write first. Not today.

First of all — if she needed time to think about all the last events — Felix would give her this time. He had the whole week to put two girls in his mind together, not that it really took him that long, but still.

And she had a lot of stress with a line on this week, not mentioning the school, and some other responsibilities she preferred to keep to herself.

Plus Felix let her understand his intentions, and the last word was his, so now the ball was kind of on her side. Not that he would just wait and pine forever, but one day could be reasonable.

Felix fell on his bed and took a deep breath.

This girl.

The way her face blushed on his words. The way her breath responded on his closeness. The way her body reacted on his touch. It took him all his will power to walk away from her, feeling she gave him this power over her.

Because he wasn’t fooled. He knew he could come so close to her — figuratively and physically — only with her silent agreement. Because Felix knew how strong she was — he had enough evidence of that. She could cut him off easily, she could brush him away with just one look.

And yet she choose to let him in. To share with him something she refused to share with everyone else. To allow him be next to her even after she knew he wasn’t completely honest with her, hiding his identity for the whole week.

So, yeah, Felix wasn’t fooled by her visible weakness next to him. Turned on as hell — yes, but not fooled.

She started to play first, flirting with him, and that was when his previous fears of that meeting vanished.

Because she knew it was him — the person she trusted her designs at first, and then her fears and secrets. She had quite good image of his personality. She knew that he knew her love story, and now she even knew he interfered with it before.

And she started to flirt with him. And that was green light enough for Felix.

He sighed. Yes. Today will be a long long day.

all you felt was cold. 

it was late on a friday night, and you sat at your bedroom window huddled up in your duvet, staring out into the black night. 

“oh for life to always be this peaceful”, you thought to yourself before wiping your runny nose for the umpteenth time that evening. 

“y/n...?” you heard softly from the other side of the door. 

“leave me alone chan, I don’t want to see you” you muttered, before slouching further into your protective shell consisting of your duvet, blankets and multiple pillows - to hibernate from the world forever. 

bang chan. your best friend since you were toddlers. both of your mum’s were best friends when they were young, and his mum and coincidentally moved into the house next to yours only a few months after chan was born after moving to Australia resulting in the two of you becoming just as close as you mothers after countless play dates and birthday parties.

you’ve always secretly struggled with anxiety and depression, and despite a few chats here and there, you’ve surprisingly managed to hide the severity of it from chan after all these years. 

from covering your scars with makeup and being careful to not wear revealing clothes around him, to him amazingly never questioning why you excuse yourself to the toilet after almost every meal, there’s no way he could truly know about the black hole that eats you up at every waking moment of your day. 

but this? the pure and utter hatred of yourself? you don’t know how much longer you can go on for, how much longer you can survive the ferocious waves in your mind that threaten to drown you at every moment. 

the truth is, you’re exhausted. who wouldn’t be? but you know that you can never show your true self to chan, or anyone for that matter. you love the fake persona you’ve created for when you’re around your family and friends, the bright, carefree girl who hardly worries about anything, and you don’t want that to change. you naturally don’t want them to start walking on eggshells around you and start treating you as if you’re a fragile china doll that may break at any moment. 

you knew chan would try do everything he could to help you if he found out, god of course he would, but you wouldn’t be able to survive the guilt if you unloaded your mental burdens onto him, it wasn’t fair to him. and besides, you hardly wanted to tell your long term best friend who you may or may not have a major crush on about how you don’t want to be here anymore. 

“c’mon y/n.. let me in. i’m really worried” chan says through the door again. “let me help”, he pleads. “please just tell me whats going on””. “no chan, leave me alone, please” you begged between soft cries. “i’ll call you tomorrow okay?” chan says softly, finally defeated. “bye y/n..”

you’d barely slept. you rarely did anymore, but on nights like this especially, you were left tossing and turning all night. 

the hurt and sadness that you had heard in chan’s tone earlier kept replaying over and over in your mind. you felt bad for shutting him out, but how could you explain yourself to him, and show him the true side of you? it’s not as easy as you’d think. 

suddenly, your phone went off, illuminating a small section of your room and making you squint away from it due to the brightness after all of your crying.

huh? what was that supposed to mean?

your confusion was shortly lived when you heard the familiar sound that you had heard thousands of times before of your bedroom window opening, signalling that chan was here, and you could only think of one thing;

you were going to kill lee felix.

sure you loved you crazy ray of sunshine of a cousin, how could you not? but he was the only other person that you had trusted enough with the shit show of  what your life was, partially because he always saw through you enough to know that you were really never ‘okay’ when you told him you were. he was the only person you allowed to be your true self to be around, and he witnessed nights like these and just held you more times than you care to admit.

you look up to see chan coming through the window, half hoping to see his signature warm, dimpled smile that you know and love, but was met with sorrowful eyes and a tear stained face instead. 

“y/n” he said sadly, making his way over to your bed where you were yet again bundled up in your duvet and blankets. “y/n” he repeats, gently getting into bed and laying down beside you.

“why didn’t you ever tell me” he whispers softly whilst wrapping his arms around you. 

“i just didn’t know how”, you replied, crying into his chest.

“shhh, its okay, i’m here now.” he soothes you, gently stroking your hair, and you quickly dozed off to sleep soon after in the arms of the boy who would never know how close you hold him to your heart, and somehow you knew that everything would finally be okay, because no matter what challenges the two of you faced, either together or apart, 

you would always find your way back to each other.

THE WALTEN FILES: my jumbled notes on my blind run-in with this web series

first off this is gonna be long and unorganized, also this is my second time writing this as i had lost literally half of my progress and im This (imagine two fingers almost touching with a 0.0000000001mm distance between them) close to ripping all of the fucking hair out of my goddamn head. but now this will be extra long and yes, i will lose some accuracy to my first writing but thats okay ill probably edit this a kajillion times over

which brings me to my next tangent; im literally braindumping here. so to have a smidge of organization all afterthoughts, edits and corrections will be boldened, i forgot what im gonna do with italicized text but ill probably bolden it here yeah im pretty sure its for side tangents, separate from Corrections, which are in bold. also theyre for emphasis too.

so in general, this post right here is all of my notes i wrote down on my grid-patterned sticky notes (which i used WAYYYY too much of) about the first 3 uploaded walten files youtube videos transferred onto my handy dandy digital notebook, this b(l)og. yeppers peppers. you know im serious about this shit when i typed probably over like a thousand fucking words including boldened shit, italicized shit and motherfucking links, lost it ALL, and im sitting here re-typing it again.

i feel bad about this but im not gonna trigger warn right here, but this is technically a warning. if you want a list of triggers as to what this post (and the walten files in general) i will link a little list to that here

THE WALTEN FILES - VIDEO #1

clarifying this now, im gonna put some useless shit which i thought was code onto this because even though it was useless it was part of my notes and im physically going to combust if i dont put down every single thing i wrote on my papers. so what i thought was code was in the closed captions, i started writing it down when i got to the second video but came back to my first videos notes to include them. i wrote down the first letter to every word that was capitalized in the closed captions, which i had on as a default because number one i knew going into this id need them because most web horror things like args and cryptic shit like that has some of the most crucial shits in the closed captions. number two i am autistic and have auditory processing issues and have most closed captioning on as a default if theyre available.

i then jotted, in parenthesis of course, the names of the animatronics when they were listed in the animation section of the video; bon aka the blue bunny, sha aka the sheep one, boozoo aka the clown<3 honk<33, and banny aka the purpled eyelashed up one who is also a bunny btw. also i got boozoo the clown and boozoo the mustache guy confused because apparently the clowns name is billy???? but they named “boozoo” in bons sleepover and showed the clown? idk maybe im an idiot and theyre the same or just an idiot and theyre different or a super mega (matt and ryan?!?!??) idiot in general which is probably the case

i started drawing little stars to write down things i thought would be super important or to 100% look at again. the first subject of this pointy torture was the part of the video where at 3:00, i marked it down to make sure to reverse the audio as it was most definitely a weird audio that has that signature warp-y effect that makes sure you KNOW its in reverse. i then listened back to it Very carefully (still got it wrong) and got this: “you finally start to remember. that old doll. they will look out for you soon” im also pretty sure i heard “sophie” at the end of that audio but im not entirely sure and dont remember and i dont wanna go back to check lmfao but anyways it didnt matter because i was wrong anyway. after i had finished all 3 walten files i watched the film theory video on the walten files (which didnt cover all 3 but was dece.) out of curiosity and to hear matpats signature silly little voice explain some stuff i already knew, and click some shit in my brain that i couldve thought up of if i was a bit more... i dont know honestly. anyways yeah so the actual audio is “you finally start to remember. that old day. they will look out for you soon.” so yeah. day, not doll.

i then wrote down “sarah evelyn”, the name on the bons sleepover animation (i dont remember if she created it or animated it or whatnot) and scribbled will she matter? under her name. turns out no, as i didnt see her name in the rest of the series, let alone the first video. this is also a great time to mention how matpat theory helped me realize that the walten files are collections of videos, uploaded onto youtube by anthony. (i already knew about anthony as he signed his name in the descriptions of the youtube videos, making me categorize this overall web series more into an arg type genre.) but yes, the tapes, recorded “irl” footage, animated clips, vhs tape recordings and other audio-visual content is all collected and labeled the walten files, as i had mistaken each video to be a tape. stupid me. alrighty, onward!

i jotted down with an arrow that; sophie was a nightguard? she was wearing the uniform explained in tape 2 i dont know why but i went back into my video 1 notes after i had watched video 2. organization purposes. i guess.?? 

i then paused the video when the screen flickered a date, the beginning of video footage dated 10/10/1982 (Brian Stells?) god my little genius ass assuming the videographer was brian stells, based on the id card i saw earlier.

i then wrote down what text i saw on the dead, mangled, bloody body in the purple security suit; “i cant feel anything” “he thought i was her” then drew a little arrow pointing to; thought brian was sophie? or ashley? i also starred the name Brian Stells this is totally out of order LMFAOOOOOOOO also i wrote down ashley because, again, my little pea brain went back on my video 1 notes after watching video 2. but yep thats all i wrote for The Walten Files 1 - Company Introductory Tape

this pack of notes is chunkier because again, like i have mentioned before i am an absolute goober and thought the capitalized letters of the words would actually mean something. I MEAN MAYBE THEY DO AND IM JUST DOING IT WRONG but i stopped doing it after this video because holy shit it was exhausting and my stupid little fingers couldnt take the writing anymore becasue i am WEAK. 

so write off the bat (squeak) i wrote down 197[] the blacked out rectangle over the last digit of that year and everything im also now assuming its probably 1978 or 1974 because lore reasons but whos to say but yeah i also wrote down this;

Last seen: 1974 i was very unsure of the spelling of her last name because the image was so goddamn low quality and grainy but its what i saw. this is where tape #3 gets thrown in, which im gonna type again because i like how the formatting looks;

- Reverse at 8:16 which i did but of course didnt write down what i heard. i think it was too warbled to hear anything clear out of it, or it was just the good ol auditory processing issues fucking me over yet again. okay im not proud to admit im editing this to post it and realized ive lost my notes. well.
