Richie did the right thing (in the end)
I bet ALL MY MONEY that I have in my wallet and in the bank right now, plus all of the money I'm gonna make from now till S4 premiers or 3B or whatever Storer throws my way that Richie went to his dark side and back. HE THOUGHT ABOUT STICKING IT UP CARMY'S ASS (the previous scene was the fight he had with Carmy in the BOH) but ENDED UP DOING THE RIGHT THING, not for Carm but for Sydney.
And outta respect, because:
Tumblr media
You can quote me on this one when they win the Star. Go for it.
Tumblr media
A fork on the floor, and sometimes a purse, in restaurant code, means that a Michelin inspector is in tha house.
I'm 200% sure that he did pick up that fork and gently picked up that bag for the lady as well, and kissed her ass while doing it, like the respectful Maître d’ he is now (after Carmy gave him the chance to find that purpose and BTW let's not forget that Richie met Jess on that occasion too, so not just professional purpose).
There's a reason why Storer named the Richie-centered ep FORKS last season. Foreshadowing at its finest. He was setting the stage for this very moment. There was gonna come a day when that fork on the floor was gonna be the Batsignal for Richie and he was gonna be Batman. But he was gonna doubt. It wasn't gonna be squeaky clean. It wasn't for Carmy, HE DID THE RIGHT THING FOR SYD AT THE END, AFTER THINKING ABOUT LETTING THE BEAR CRASH AND BURN, of course. But not on his watch.
Basically, Richie got them the bullshit star by picking up that fork. Believe you me.

So now with today's episode we have some new information on Frank. At first glance it seems like it would disprove the Pisces Theory, but... I am not entirely sure about that. I'm starting to think there's two paths here...
Firstly: He said Puppet was on the right track in regards to the Aspect of Fear thing, but obviously he's not fully correct... What is clear is that Frank has tons of power, a strange knowledge of Fate and enough skill to create an instantaneous copy of one of the Bloodtwins. Almost like STAR POWER; whereas he's deeply entwined to all these negative emotions, negative energies, fear, quite possibly along the lines of ANTI-STAR POWER. So here's the deeper question...
My Main Theory: What if Frank is a Chimera?
Something Gemini mentioned on an episode was they thought some of the other Astrals had died (Or blown up) before... What if in another universe... they all did? All the Astrals 'died' but rather than reform normally, some of them reformed into a hybridized form? Probably with more than a few pieces of Witherstorm/Anti-matter mixed in. Enough to screw with any memories or purpose those Astrals originally had. The result is a creature with a lot of power and conflicting natures... and behold! Our Frank exists...
My Secondary Theory: He's a different dimension Pisces...
Castor had commented in a different episode that while Astrals exist across dimensions they might have different power levels or other variations.
What if Frank is an Astral from another (Dead) universe who just moved in? Somewhat like Puppet, only this Astral is on a radically different power level compared to the ones in this universe or has mutated in some unconventional ways? He's been watching Sun and Moon because of all the Star Shenanigans, but has only recently decided to become active, due to all the insanity going on.
Which could be beneficial for Lunar actually... Gemini has mentioned that the Astrals are split on the decision of what to do with Lunar. Another Astral to tip the scale in Lunars favor could help the Celestial Family out.
These are just my thoughts honestly. Probably wrong, but has anyone else got any ideas after todays episode?

Someone probably already pointed this out but in mouthwashing, taking responsibility is the running motif but more commonly it’s said to men who impregnates women where they must “take responsibility” for the child. The fact that this whole mess started with Jimmy assaulted Anya and refuse to take any responsibility for his actions against her. He tried to take responsibility, in the wrong way where he was only appeasing his ego, but it was too late. He dug his own grave when he refused to acknowledge Anya as a human and I find that poetic. He could try all he wants, but he will never take responsibility.

ok so my theory on who I think gaster is in the game and what they want (??)
so I’m like 99% certain the egg man is gaster. The convo you have when you get the chapter 3 egg, they bring up that everyone forgets them even when they don’t mean to, which reminds me of the goner dialogue in ut. With that in mind, and assuming gaster really is the egg man, the flavor text for the chapter 3 and 4 egg makes me think that gaster
1. Has nothing to do with whatever Kris has going on with the phone/knight
2. Has possibly met with Kris before but Kris can’t remember. Maybe in a “helpful” context as the knockoff playing card for ch 4 egg asks “who was the patient anyways”
Also also, in the battle with the knight if you lose on the last attack, gaster encourages you to keep going. Which would go against whatever Kris and the knight would want/were told to do, assuming those two are actually in cahoots
I don’t think the egg man and whoever Kris calls are the same person. The main thing going against that is when you call on the cell before Noelle’s house it plays the gaster noise. so who knows

Okay, to anyone who believes that Mahiru's boyfriend was equally at fault for his and Mahiru's relationship and that they abused each other, can you please tell me why? Like I'm not trying to be sarcastic or whatever, I genuinely want to be told why You people are clearly seeing something that I am not and I want to understand it

Hii!! Um do you think you can do star theory wordmojis? Or fork theory wordmojis?
Star theory is basically measuring dissociation (no stars = clear head; many stars = very dissociated/out of it) so like no stars, few stars, many stars?
Fork theory is measuring your patience I guess? (No forks = you're calm and levelheaded; Many forks = You're going to blow up any second if one more thing goes wrong)
And ofc if you wanna add in the spoon theory ones, you can!!! Do whatever color you feel best represents each one! No rush!! <3<3<3<3<3

I’m a little tired as of late, but I was able to get these done! Might be able to do the spoons later ^^ <2<2<2

Knife Theory
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is the third part of the Spoon-Fork-Knife Theory  that I believe makes up the main themes of the whole series and each season. Make sure to read The Spoon Theory and The Fork Theory too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Carmy was on his literal last knife, as none of them were sharp, until he found his good knife on the floor after trying Sydney's stew. Sydney spent years working at Michelin restaurants and then overworking herself and spreading herself too thin with her catering business, and this was her her last hope and push forward after failing on her dream. Carmy has been on non stop knife mode for a decade, he did not even stop to grieve his brother, he just kept working and working.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
When Carmy didn't have any "spoons" or help, he hurt himself using a knife. The same thing happened to Sydney because she was over exerting herself. Both of them are used to living in full knife mode. Carmy was selling jeans and his brothers jacket just to buy meat. He was literally giving his blood, sweat, and tears for this place.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Season 1 was all about Sydney and Carmy's "knives" and having to push themselves to the limit because of their passion to try and make The Beef into something better. Sydney used her knives and overspent her energy until she hurt Richie, the person that kept getting in the way of her using her knives both literally and metaphorically, and eventually she broke down and crashed. Carmy who was already on his last knife, struggling just to keep the lights on before Sydney arrived, finally felt the burn out when she left and almost let the restaurant burn down.
Tumblr media
At the start of Season 2, Carmy is at a somewhat peaceful and chill place where he actually has free time, and the first thing he does when he's by himself is play with a knife. He needs the chaos and he doesn't know how to exist without being on high alert and pushing his passions to their limit. He then goes and sets practically impossible standards by planning to open in 3 months. He thinks he's using his knives to push himself to greatness but at the end of it all, what he has done is created new set of problems, also known as "forks", by avoiding his responsibilities and forcing others to have to use their "knives" and "spoons" to get things done because he is absent.
Tumblr media
Tina ends up getting Carmy's knife both literally and in terms of being the one to push herself to her passion. She was putting all her energy into helping Sydney with the menu and to trying to get Ebra to have the same drive as her. Both things that really should have been Carmy's responsibility as Syd's partner and Ebra's boss. All while Carmy is off doing whatever with whoever.
Tumblr media
Now, in the words of Carmy: if they want a Michelin star they are going to have to care about everything, more than anything. They are going to have to push themselves to their limits and they are going to have to use their "knives" again, but if they do there will inevitably come a big crash and burn at the end when everything comes catching up to them.

More applied Fork Theory:
Problem: POTS means I need increased hydration and electrolytes. A history of kidney stones means that standard electrolyte mixes don't do it for me. Also, they're often stupidly expensive. The kidney stone thing means that drinking lemon juice is advisable. Preserving my teeth means that I need it substantially diluted. Allergies/mast cell issues mean that ReaLemon and most commercially available standard lemon juice concentrates are out due to sulfites. And steroid-induced-but-now-type-2 diabetes means sugar is out, but most sweeteners cause problems for me. I do not have the energy to squeeze lemons.
Solution: Homemade lemonade thusly:
Ingredients:
Pure lemon juice. I don't have the stamina for squeezing but in my area I can buy Lakewood Organics or Santa Cruz pure lemon juice, no additives, not concentrated, in quart bottles.
Potassium Chloride: I get NOW brand potassium chloride but really any food grade potassium chloride in bulk will do. One small jar lasts me a while, at least 6 months to a year? Maybe longer? I haven't mathed it.
Sodium Chloride: i.e. salt. While I am on a lower sodium diet than I used to be due to kidney stones (high sodium pulls calcium into the urine, where it can combine with oxalates. The combination of an almond-forward keto diet for diabetes plus high sodium for POTS is a recipe for kidney stones. Nevertheless, I feel Bad if I don't get at least some salt with my liquids.)
Sweetener: By far the easiest for me is pure stevia extract powder. Either the Better Stevia brand or the tiny canister from Trader Joes which is probably the same thing. They function identically. This is ideal because it does not add significant bulk to the liquid. Pure monk fruit or alluose are the only other sweeteners I'd personally use. But if you make this, choose a sweetener that works for you, even sugar if you tolerate it well.
If NOT otherwise supplementing vitamin C and avoiding oranges, Magnesium Ascorbate
Tools: Measuring spoons and a cheap milk frother. (Idk if the one I have is that one, but that's the general concept). Mason jars or other quart containers for mixing individual drinks.
Now when I started out, I was making one lemonade at a time.
In a quart jar: 1 oz lemon or lime juice (I keep a 1 oz shotglass just for this) 1/4 teaspoon of stevia extract powder 1/8 teaspoon of potassium chloride and/or other electrolytes as appropriate to your medical situation. 1/8 tsp potassium chloride is about 360 mg of potassium.
Fill the jar with filtered water. Stir. Drink.
It dawned on me after a while that I could make up a bunch of concentrate and then pour a 1 oz shot glass into the jar and add water and it would be much easier. So:
In the quart jar of pure juice, add the following, shaking* between every tablespoon addition.
3 tablespoons of stevia concentrate powder (this rounds the sweetener up slightly) 1 tablespoon potassium chloride powder will add about 270 mg of potassium per serving. (This rounds the potassium down slightly from the single serve recipe.) If desired, 1 tablespoon of magnesium oxide will add approximately 250 mg of magnesium per serving. I take my magnesium in a different way. If you need additional vitamin C to get to your baseline of 60 mg per day of vitamin c, adding 1/4 teaspoon of magnesium ascorbate will add about 25 mg of vitamin C per serving and a trivial amount of magnesium.
I use about 2 1/2 teaspoons of Potassium and 1/2 teaspoon of sodium for my mix. Adjust to your medical situation. Just remember that you are using 32 servings, some math will be required.
You MUST shake after each tablespoon or it won’t mix well*. Recap the jar very tightly.
Once this is mixed, it is best to let it sit in the fridge for a few hours to hydrate any remaining chunks and then shake well before using.
Add 1 shot (1 oz) of mixed concentrate to a quart jar and fill the jar with filtered water to make one serving of lemonade.
Then my niece gave me the milk frother for Christmas. And so instead of stirring after each addition, I put the powders in a small jelly jar, added a small amount of lemon juice to it, used the drink twizzler to whip the powders into the lemon juice into a paste, added a little more lemon juice and did it again, and then carefully poured the result back into the lemon juice jar, going back and forth until I got it all. It was kind of frothy at first, but sitting in the fridge for an hour let the foam all settle out and the mix was perfect.
