Things that I have said while playing Lethal Company before dying.
What's that sound?
Oh hey, a bug.
There's only one of them, what's it gonna do.
Is that a roomba?
Do you think it hear us? (was not whispering)
Why is it sparking?
Oh shit.
I can make that jump. (while carrying two gold bar)
Oh hey, did another player joined?
IT HAS A SHOTGUN.
I have a shovel and I am not afraid.
Keep looking at it. I will try to open the door.
I can run around it.
Hey, there's a little girl.
Jump on a rail, it won't be able to do anything. (didn't read update logs)

i’ve been learning magic the gathering and folks just have this lingo that i’m having to learn
like what do you mean two-color decks all have a special name that’s like, part of the lore or something. we can’t just call black/green decks “breen?”

Palia has the worst player economy I've ever seen
Been playing Palia, and while I'm having a lot of fun farming and decorating, I don't think will last long term.
The biggest being that it doesn't have a player marketplace or trading. Which is very strange considering that this bills itself as an mmo/farm sim. The only mmo parts of it is that you can chat with other players/make recipes together and node sharing. I can easily seeing them make this a 4 person co op game and it would act exactly the same.
You can't sell furniture you've crafted (to other players OR npcs). You can't break down furniture you've crafted. You can't donate it. The only way to get rid of crafted items you don't want is to TRASH IT.
There's no in game economy. Which again, why have an mmo if you can't even do the basics of trading or even making/gifting things to other players.
For example, say I want a piece of the moonstruck furniture (a high level crafting item). I'm not into crafting, but my friend is a high level crafter. In other MMOs, my friend could craft the item and give it to me, but you can't in Palia. The only way to get it is grinding out crafting, or hope it shows up in the NPC shop rotation and I'm rich enough to buy it.
From what I've read, they aren't going to add a marketplace because of bots (they're an F2P game). But like I stated, there are ways to create a viable trading system between players (which they don't have!) like donation bins. They do have a request board, but you can only request items you ALREADY HAVE (or have gotten and trashed)! There's no incentive to interact with other players, and makes gathering more hostile as if you do go the grinding up crafting route, you're going to have to work harder against other players for gathering nodes.
This is such a bad system, and the fact that the game has an open beta where such basic stuff isn't in it doesn't bode well for the game.

Ok I’ve been playing a game called lobotomy corporation! It’s really fun and it’s was in inspired by the SCP foundation. It’s a really cool monster management game.
But a neat feature of this game is that you can create custom characters, and they get armours and weapons themed around the monsters. So this usually ends up with me creating myself and some friends and I drew my sona based on my in-game character

This is what I based the drawing on

I love when I remind my friend they lost the game, like just specifically this one person and its so funny
(To everyone reading this, this is your reminder that you have lost the game :D, major L for you *says the person that lost just by talking abt this lol*)
If anyone doesn't know what the game Is: the game is just something that got more popular in 2020-2022, this game is literally called "The game" and the whole point is to forget it exists or stop thinking abt it entirely, the second you learn about it and what it is, the game begins, nothing happens when you remember it exists or think abt it you just lose and have to try again lmao, there's no way of winning the game once you learn what it is and you can never "stop playing" bc it's impossible lmao, happy playing The Game!

I like to come up with horrible video game mechanic ideas designed to piss off certain subsections of gamers without effecting the gameplay experience of the average player.
For example, what if I made a completely normal action adventure game, but the final boss is inaccessible by any means until the in-game time reaches 3 hours? If the game had an average play time of 10 hours, this would not effect the average gamer. It would, however, piss off speedrunners. If I wanted to rub salt into the wounds, I could make that three hour limit have a variable of up to five minutes late or early. I think the runners would come after me with pitchforks
