¡ Valentino redesing!

We finally have the baby!

(This redesign belongs to the Wish Au "Kingdom of wishes", written by @annymation and illustrated by @emillyverse and me)

This will surely be the redesign where I have the least things to say lol, but I still have some things to comment on so let's go!

At first I hadn't thought much about how I would redesign Valentino, what I was sure of was making him more adorable and cuter so that everyone would want to have a goat as a pet, because if I'm completely honest, Valentino's official design in the Disney movie I didn't find it adorable at all (sorry Disney artists, I know they put effort into drawing and animating but I just didn't like Valentino's design)

(Do you get my point? He's just not cute or adorable, and the voice they gave him didn't help either, or the face idk ,but I thought the joke about his voice at the beginning of the movie was funny ¯_(ツ)_/¯)

So I made a mental list of things I wanted to do (which aren't many if I'm honest): -Make it fluffier and fluffier -Give him other clothes -Add even one symbol in your redesign

Anny sent me several references of goats and concept art, among them I found this one, which I based myself on mainly because 1-I have always liked that animals had moles or spots on their fur or skin 2-When I saw that on their clothes You could see the seams that joined the different fabrics, I realized that it coincided with Asha's redesign (on the sleeves) so I was like: "AWWWWW it matches his mom's clothes!"

In the end I only added a part of it with a different fabric because I didn't want to complicate the design too much, but I liked how it turned out, I added some symbols of the tattoos that exist in the Amazigh culture, which is also to protect the person (or animal in this case) of the bad influences that are around them

I also liked adding that little ball of curly hair on our goat's little head, it just looks so cute!

FINAL COMMENTS!

As I said, this is not very long, but I'm satisfied with how the drawing turned out, I wanted to try something new that looks like the lighting was a sunset, I don't know if it's noticeable but at least it turned out nice lmao, as a curious fact, with this drawing I realized how MUCH my sketches change when I paint them in detail

This is not an update to the Comic, but it still has something to do with it !!!

(call it a little gift for the Wish Rewrite and KoW fandom)

Hello my little stars! How are you?

I mentioned in the last post in the series that I would be traveling for a week or two and that's why I wouldn't be working. Well I'm still traveling Lmao.

It's been a lot of fun, I'm visiting my Prince Charming and family, both of whom I haven't been to in a long time. Still, I couldn't stop thinking about KoW and Wish's Concept Arts. Disney sealed the fate of its fan artists by discarding so much good material, now they are embedded in our minds and we will not be able to rest until we see them realized. This is crazy but it's beautiful to see how much these discarded concepts generated creative potential in the fandom.

Because of all this I couldn't help but make some small sketches! And well, I came to show them here. They are not sketches of Comic panels, but they have something to do with it and I will show the photos and explain how.

This first one, very faded, are Magnificent and Amable's clothes (designed by @uva124, for the characters in @annymation's rewrite of Wish "The Kingdom of Wishes"). The drawings that Aled did are very complex, I don't judge her for that, in fact I thank her, she gave beautiful clothes to the centuries-old Disney villains and they are perfect. I really wish I could draw them with all the details, but I will do everything by hand, alone and seeking a minimally professional quality (I want to be a comic artist/book illustrator one day. This comic is my first step Lmao, and I want to do something that conveys the best I can give at the moment), so I need to make some things easier for myself. The costumes are one of those things.

" Better something simple and well done than complex and poorly done." — This is my motto for this Comic and for my life.

The next sketches are related to aesthetics. I've been watching a lot of "Analyzing the Art" videos of some Disney films and I was inspired to adopt some "Disney Style" features in my arts for this comic (not everything obviously, because I don't want to be sued by Disney lmao).

What you'll see next is me trying to mix this influence with my own style in some KoW character sketches.

Speaking of aesthetics. Anny received Chiara's aesthetic from someone — the north star, "daughter of Aster", created by his magic at the very end of Anny's fanfic. This Aesthetic inspired me to create an aesthetic for Asha and Aster too and these were the results:

Lmao, It took a lot of work to make Aster's. There are almost no things for "starboys" on Pinterest.

Lastly, I want to say that the artistic analysis videos They also inspired me to put together a moodboard for KoW and I'll be leaving it here. Not even Anny and Aled know about this and I can't wait to see their reactions! I wish I could print this painting and leave it on the wall, but unfortunately I don't have a printer T-T.

This moodboard is helping me with the artistic direction of colors, style and is a visual motivation to stay active at work.

Here is my first concept of my AU, I was modifying some things while I was drawing, I hope you like it :3

Betty Grof is now a wizard, Her name as a wizard is the butterfly wizard, because her power consists of manifesting itself in multiple butterflies.

Patience kidnaps Ice king to use him as a magical battery, but as him having, has a lot of power, corrupts her in a desire of eternal power, making her a tyrant for the rest of the kinfdoms and plunges OOO into a perpetual winter, perfect for the magical beings from the ice kingdom but bad for others.

In her urgent quest to save Simon and the elemental princesses from patience control, Marceline, Finn and Jake create a resistance against the glaciar queen's ( Patience new's name ) tyranny during this time, in a point of this events, Betty learns of Prismo's existence thanks to Jake, asking to him to take her to him and make a wish for save everyone.

Her wish was "I wish the glaciar queen disappear without negative consequences", Of course, there is the joke of Prismo's wishes… - To be continue in the next part (Simon's desing)

                         The continent of Scarria. hidden behind a wall of magical mist made by magical bird tribe. Yes this is an au                          Map, explained! (Credit to Scarria belongs to me and my friend, i just own the desings and 3/6 of the tribes of the contient)   Marshland, Rainforests, deserts, tundra, mountain range and the islands around the continent are self explanatory Eye of the land - references to the eye shape of the continent, this massive lake and island within it are religious ground to the batwings and they call the island withing 'Irisus'. Flamepeak - within the middle of the continent and surrounded by water, this mountain shows no volcanic movement but is regarded as a 'sleeping volcano' and is rumoured to have an ancient being locked within it, a being made of fire and magma, no one has proved or disproved as exploring within the mountain is forbidden and made illegal by all four current queens. Many dragons believe that climbing this mountain will grant fortune and wishes. The ancient ruins - four massive ancient ruins are scattered across the lands, over 300 years ago began a massive war that was caused by the four that time kingdoms fighting over the land that existed, causing grave destruction to the land and causing the deaths of the four queens of that time when the ancient spirits collapsed the castles of the four queens atop them. Leading the heirs who inherited the thrones to unite the four kingdoms into one massive kingdom to be ruled by four royal families and democracy. One still living dragon from this time is Queen Insular of the batwings, due to batwings having a proven much longer livespan than other tribes. Heart placing palace - the largest build ever made and able to house a massive amounts of dragons, it has many spirals going up and many rooms showcasing the culture of the four tribes that rule from within it. Four royal families life within this palace and its the 'heart of the continent', this has a reasoned nickname not explained much, even if oddly placing. Mist wall - this massive wall of mist is the reason this continent has yet to be found, this wall of mist surrounds the continent and its nearby isles. It is enchanted so when you try to enter the continent from the outside you get teleported to the other side of the continent outside the wall again, causing dragons to dismiss this mass of clouds to be smaller than it is. As well is this mist used to deflect any and all kind of outside magic (ie: spells from Darkstalker and Jerboa III being the most recent example)

Today I thought about a heroaca au for both bkdk, krkm AND srrk

Medieval setting

Shoto is king because his dad died, his oldest brother dissapeared, his second eldest brother became the religious leader because their dad took so long to die, and his sister married off to another kingdom

Katsuki and Eijiro are his most trusted royal knights

Hanta is his advisor

Izuku is a distant relative whose kingdom is under attack and has been sent there for the time being

Denki is a fucking fairy

Bkdk storyline is Bakugo being trusted with the task of keeping Midoriya safe, who recognises him because they both grew up in Izuku's kingdom and used to play together, having promised to marry in the future

Srrk storyline I haven't come up with but you can imagine, underlying issues in the kingdom and trying to solve them but being too horny to do so, Idunno

Idunni fairy lore but let's make our own, krkm storyline is Kirishima returning to a magical forest over and over again wishing for strength which he thinks he is granted, but it's just this menace fairy called Kaminari messing with him, but then gets caught and follows him out if the forest because there's nothing to do in there, having to hide but also setting up so many hijinks. Kirishima shicked after finding out he can turn human sized. Denki prides himself on his giant wings

Also if someone wants to show me designs of wings that combine the beauty and shape of butterfly wings, the transparency and agility of bug/fairy wings and the boldness and strenght of dragon wings hmu, if not Imma try and desing some but I think they'd look cool

h m m ~ what's the first years occupation in the fairy tale au? are they also minions?

So, there's a reason why I called this au Fary tale universe

The others aren't specifically minions, they play the part of the main character that inspired their desing

I took creators liberty juice, so there are some changes, some small, some big, to give this an unique look I hope, being close enough to have similarity, but at the same time not being just a retelling of the Disney stories, you could say I made some twsts ;)

I sprinkled a bit of the RSA characters roles there as well bc I was inspired

In this au the title of the villains is pass down from generations, so Riddle's mom was the queen of hearts and he is technically a prince, that made play time almost impossible, but bc the partys of the queen are mandatory for the kingdom they eventually met, and of course, it's set in stone for some families to attend, the same people that were invited to the first queen of hearts' tea party

Ruggie lives with the other hyenas beastman, banned from the kingdom I'm thinking too much about those implications, so I ask for you to think too

Jack is the trickiest bc we at least I have no idea who his main base is, it could be the beast or the wolves from beauty and the beast, or the big bad wolf, so I'll take creative liberty with him, so he's still in the savanaclaw section, let's say he's a sympathizer with the hyenas, this catches Leona's radar and he becomes one of his secret pride, for his schemes of course

Farena is the king that cares for his pride deply, and Cheka is the energetic little prince that can't wait to be king

Leona met Ruggie at his late teens, they both become acquaintances, Leona needed minions for his plan to dethrone Farena and be king, so he uses the hyenas, for now it's an strictly boss-minion relationship even if people say Ruggie's the right hand man, Leona denies it, Ruggie and the others respect Leona bc he provides more food than they could gather alone

Jack is new to the pride, but came to respect Leona by his strength and cunning nature, in his perspective Leona wants equality, and his naivety may have or not be affecting the lion, if it wasn't by the birth of his nephew Leona might have had changed his motivation to become king but the world works in unfair ways a chain can never be broken right?

Basicaly: Ruggie knows the truth about Leona's motivations, that they are all paws, but you play sides to survive isn't it? While Jack is the naivety of the hyenas that truly belived scar was doing this bc he cared

Jade and Floyd are Azul's childhood friends, wanting to cause havoc bc it's just fun, and Azul is the only one that let them be truly carefree and at the same time offer's protection and a place to sleep

Rielle being a son of the king, loving and wishing to live outside the sea permanently

The deep sea is truly uncaring to it's citizens, the unwanted in the caring arms of Atlants, set aside from their unconventional beauty and nature, many grew there, surviving from nothing, the sirens from the fishermans storyes and pirates chants

It is rare for siblings to be so close as them, for it's a world were the strong eat the weak, however even so, Jade and Floyd have survived so it isn't impossible with a little bit of empathy or perhaps a rebellious spirit

I'll go with the Ursula was Triton's sister story line I have heard, so Azul could be the nephew of the king, his family being cast to the deep sea from being "tricksters and witches of true nature", the three met at the time Azul started to realise the world is unkind and cold a very young age were no child should realise this, so someone has to be this kind person for those poor unfortunate souls right?

Kalim is a little tricky, I could made him the next sultan and twst jasmine one of his younger siblings. for reasons he doesn't know, yet, his family is in the throne line now

With Jamil still being his servant, but now, bc Kalim likes him so much, he's one step to become the next visier

Jafar's minions were the guards and Iago, so Jamil has the guards by default, since he's the visier

Jafar hadn't a clear reason to why he wanted to become sultan, except be in the top of the hierarchy I think, but Jamil is way more complex than this, so he wants to get back to all those stupid nobles that treated him like shit, at any cost possible, even if this mean manipulating Kalim's will

Rook is the son of a huntsman family loyal to the queen, automatically making him one of Vil's most thrust worthy man

Epel is the apple, so maybe he just makes deliveries to the castle and one day picked a fight, with the fucking prince bc of couse he did, and now is a servant of said prince

Neige could be Vil's half sibling? So he has the plot of snow withe, growing up with vil and all, and bc of his looks the citizens favors him even if Vil is the next in line

The kingdom of the evil beauty queen is decaying day by day, so it's no surprise that rumors arise once it's back with full force

Rumors of human experimentation for new medicine, of poison being mass produced to the black market, of the queen being the devil in disguise, nobody cares if the kingdom is still standing, they care to know about the how

Ortho is the little brother of Idia as always, I've this idea that he's human instead of a God/demigod/robot, so he can die unlike his brother, so idia does the forbidden and strikes a deal with fate(s), his brother is immortal and he will play his part in this bloody loop, he doesn't like Olympus either he suspects it was them that killed ortho's godhood anyway so it's not a big sacrifice anyway

Twst Hercules I'm so tempted to call him Heracles, suffered the same fate as ortho, but has no pity from Idia, the guy is a himbo only wanting his blood father's approval

Hades hadn't a big motive to why he wanted to take Olympus down, just bc they put him in a shitty place, but idia is way more in the chill part with being isolated, that's why I changed his motivations

On that note, Hades minions were mostly the imps and all monsters he striked a deal with, so I'll just apply this to Idia to

Lilia is Malleus mentor and babysitter only member alive of his family, the only bat in sleeping beauty appear briefly in a spell Maleficent casts, so maybe lilian was there from the beginning, seeing history repeats itself over and over, never having a diferent start or end until you/yuu came of course

Sebek is one of Malleus minions, his base is the imps so it's easy

Silver, I think in this he's a childhood friend of twst Philip, bc he's mainly inspired in the sword that bans evil, he has many of Aurora's traits, how about Philip having a little/big crush, so in homage, and bc I want some of the dynamics to stay a lil bit same, Lilia still rised him in a cottage

Silver and Sebek trained together, there is a heavy prejudice between humans and faries, sebek knows this very well, so even if he still rejects his human side, he can't help but sympathize with Silver

Malleus doesn't know about this tho, so look out for that, humans took too much from him already

that moment where u wanna write a lil viego scenario in a madoka magica au where he becomes a witch, UGH I JUST, gonna write the context here fuck it

man just imagine, viego wished that isolde falled in love with him with i guess kyubei because he is gonna be in this universe, got the wish and at the same time now hes a magical boy and have to fight the witches of camavor.

one day some dudes wanna kill him but isolde dies instead yada yada, read the biography of viego, gets so upset and just like bad which make his soulgem dark, almost to the limit, desperate to have his love back goes to the waters because it can revive things ig i dont remember im in a rush

heres where the shit goes wild because isolde dont like stab viego in the chest but instead nothing happens, like, the little hope that viego had just destroyed while he sees the body of her love under the waters and then just a big explotion occurs because his grief seed have hatched

and hes a witch, a witch with a selfish nature, i wanted to change also his name because the witches dont have the same name as the person they where, do i thinked in give him "romeo" because well, tragic love ya know the deal

thinked so much in maybe give him in hos witch desing a big ass hole in the chest but not like a lil one like in his ruined desing, like u can see the heart black af, maybe he wears a king like armor too and he not only attack with the sword he have but with the black mist that is not like mist, is more fluid, like water, i wanted to give a bit of importance to the place of hatching too giving him that detail, maybe his scenario would be like a maybe underwater cave theme

i wanted to give the power a bit of a relation with the game itself, that he can like control the bodies of the ones he kills, well he wished that isolde love him back, almost like controlling her mind, manipulating feelings, his power as a magical boy was to control enemies when they are knocked out, this can apply to familiars too in case of fighting a witch, as a witch he can comand his familiars to attack or do different actions appart from the ones they can do alredy

im not sure what his familiars would be, i have been thinking for really rusty and not cared knights toy like figures, i wanna the familiars to represent how little he cared about his status as a king and take care of the kingdom, just having eyes for his love, im mot sure neither of the names but was thinking in maybe "valentín" to keep with the romance type of stuff

Nino did always enjoy taking a walk through the monastery in the daytime. She remembered how peaceful, how lovely the daytime was in the monastery. How she’d skip through the flowers after a peaceful night’s sleep. She hadn’t had a nightmare for the first time in ages when she came to the monastery. She had so many people taking care of her, so many people giving her love and care. 

She felt like she had a family again.

She was finally happy.

She was so stupid to think it would last.

Spoilers for Crimson Flower. Warning for mentions of suicide.

The walls of her room seemed so cramped. The day was bright and she could hear the birds singing outside. She wished she could join them. That was always her nickname five years ago. Little Eagle... Little Bird... Nino reminisced on these nicknames as she traced a finger on the windowsill, looking out at the sky, wondering where all the little birds were.

A deep sigh escaped her. She couldn’t have that nickname anymore. She was twenty years old now. She was a grownup. No matter how many times that nickname was used for her, it didn’t feel right anymore. She wanted to be a little bird so badly, but it just sounded... pathetic to want to be called such a childish nickname in the midst of war. Why did it feel so pathetic? Why was it such a crime to want to curl up on someone’s lap, cry and be held, be told things would be okay even if they really weren’t going to be okay?

She thought of Jaffar. She never got to tell him how she really felt about him all those years ago... and now she probably never would get to tell him. She had gotten over her feelings, but he was still the person she thought of when she thought of a nice home life. She found herself retreating to that very place whenever she felt alone...

She lay on her bed and let her thoughts wander to that wonderful place she called home. A place full of peace. No war, no bounty hunters, just... home.

She hugged her pillow and laid on the mattress, curling up around the pillow and letting her tears be dried by that...

“Raigh! Lugh! It’s time for dinner!”

Raigh. Lugh. The twin boys she really wanted. She had them all planned out, she wanted them to be named exactly that... she knew it wasn’t exactly common to have twin boys, but she didn’t care. That’s what she wanted.

“Oh, Raigh, you should still comb your hair! Don’t you want to look nice for when Dad gets home? Don’t make that face with me, young man!”

They’d both look just like her, but Raigh would have his father’s eyes and a little bit of his attitude. Even though Lugh was always the good boy, Raigh would be just as adorable...

“Welcome home, dear! I’m so glad you’re home... you’re always working so late, and the children are always outside or at school... I get so lonely...”

It wouldn’t be easy for Jaffar, she knew, but he was fully capable of finding a nice job he could settle into... something he could always come home to without her having to worry...

Worry...

Worry, like if the bounty hunters finally caught up to them... wanting the money... wanting him for being Black Fang, her for being from the Adrestian Empire...

Worry, like if she found herself having to flee the house, unable to save her children no matter how hard she tried, because they were already dead, they were already dead, they were already dead, she could see their graves, her tears, her tears, her screams of agony, just wishing to die, just to die, end it all, end it, end it, end it

...

Even her dreams weren’t safe, it seemed.

The pillow was now completely wet with tears.

Why was she having nightmares again?

Why? Why? Why did she have to have nightmares again? She finally stopped having them. She only had nice dreams about the future. Dreams filled with hope. And now, they were all gone. As school days turned into warring days, as everyone got older, as she became an adult, everything just got worse. She was so excited to grow up. She was so excited to have children and a husband. And yet she knew... she knew she was going to be lying in a shallow grave after all of this.

The birds were still chirping outside.

In a fit of anger at the futility of her struggle, Nino hurled her pillow at the window. The window was thankfully a bit too narrow for the pillow to fit through with such a toss, simply falling onto her dresser. She sighed as she went to grab the pillow off of her dresser. As she did, she saw the window. She still heard the birds chirping outside. She looked out of the window to try and find the birds. She couldn’t see them... she wanted to see them. She wanted to be them. She just wanted to fly away from all of her problems.

She was still so short; she only managed to grow a couple more inches during the past five inches. She could fit pretty easily if she wanted to go through the window... but she was content looking out of the window. The view was so pretty... she could see mountains, forest... The monastery was so high up, it felt like she was on top of the world...

...Above everyone in the Kingdom. Above everyone in the Alliance. Everyone that might die because of her. She believed in Edelgard... She believed in their Professor, even if they were gone... but she was so tired of bloodshed. She had seen too much of it in Elibe... and now she had to kill even more people. Potentially people she cared about. Potentially people who cared about her. People who may have even loved her.

They’d die. Because of her. And for what? It was only inevitable that she would die soon enough. She had too many close calls on the battlefield. She remembered the wounds she suffered that caused her to draw so much blood.

How many more would she kill?

How long until she was dead?

...She didn’t want someone to stain their hands with her blood.

She didn’t want to be killed.

But she was prepared to die.

She hadn’t gotten out a sheet of paper and ink in so long. She struggled a little bit to recall how to write, but she managed to do it. Tears stained her eyes and made small droplets onto the paper as she continued to write, and write, and write... She felt so impulsive. It felt like a marriage that she jumped into. But she had been suffering for five years. She had been suffering for so much longer... she suffered with her false mother, but she always had the Fang... she suffered while on the run, and then she came to the Monastery... but now she was older, and she was suffering all alone. She couldn’t come to anyone, crying and begging for help. Everyone had their own problems. Why did she have to be the one to be coddled?

She wanted to be coddled so badly. She cursed her lack of ability to grow up.

She signed her name.

She laid it on the desk.

She opened the window.

Right leg.

Left leg.

This was it. All she had to do was slide out, and things would be okay.

Then she would see her family again.

That’s how she had to see it. She would see her family again. She’d see her mom... her dad... her brother... the three faces she would never see in life, but would finally get to see. It was so close... she just had to close her eyes, and see their faces...

Mom... Dad... Brother...

...Mom...

...Why was she seeing Edelgard? That wasn’t right. Her mom was alive. No, her mom was dead. Edelgard isn’t her mom. That’s just a silly, childish fantasy that she wanted to play out. Edelgard wasn’t even much older than her. And yet, she couldn’t stop thinking about her. And then she saw the rest of the Black Eagles, who were toiling away, working day after day for a brighter future of Fodlan. She saw everyone smiling at her, even despite all that had happened.

Tears rolled down Nino’s eyes, more than ever. What was she doing? What was she thinking? How could she even think of doing such a selfish thing? At least in the battlefield, there was still maybe just a chance she’d get to go home to everyone after this war, but if she did this, her death would be guaranteed. Why was she being so selfish? This wasn’t like her... Jaffar would be absolutely disgusted with her. She could almost picture him slapping her across the face... and she knew she deserved it.

Nino hated herself for thinking about this, but at least it wasn’t too late to rectify it. She could still do her best! She always did her best, and this certainly wasn’t her best! Just had to push herself back into the window, grab the inside...

It happened in a sudden flash.

“I heard the scream from over here- what the-!?”

“Quickly! Help them!”

...Why could she hear voices? Why wasn’t she falling anymore? So much pain... she couldn’t move. She felt herself coughing. Her blurry vision suddenly had red spots all over the ground. Was that her blood? She couldn’t move... her arms... her legs... they were all most certainly broken. It was surely only a matter of time...

The whinnying of a pegasus... she loved pegasi, but why could she hear them? She winced as she felt something press on her heart...

“Oh, thank heavens, she’s alive! Her heartbeat’s slowing down! We need to save her!”

No... No. Why were they saving her? Now everyone was going to worry about her. Even more people were going to think she was an idiot. A coward. Why were they trying to save her? She tried to speak. To try and tell them to not save her. To leave her. It was already too late. She attempted it, and she was too late to stop it. This is what she deserved. She made a stupid mistake, and she had to pay for it... She didn’t deserve to live. But she really did want to live... Maybe... Maybe things would be okay. Would they save her? Please save me, she thought to herself. Please save me, she tried to say...

“Don’t say a word. It’s going to be okay. You’re Nino... don’t worry. We’re going to inform Her Majesty of the situation, then we’ll...”

She’s already doing so much for everyone. She’s been worried sick over the Professor being gone. She’s been under so much pressure by everything, trying to fight this war despite all of her opposition. Why are you telling Edelgard? Stop it. STOP IT. DON’T TELL EDELGARD. PLEASE DON’T TELL EDELGARD I’M BEGGING YOU WHY AREN’T YOU LISTENING TO ME DON’T TELL EDELGARD

Nino collapsed in the knight’s arms shortly after taking flight; her heart rate had accelerated for a brief moment as she attempted to speak, but it had slowed in an instant before she collapsed. Thankfully, she only lost consciousness. A second later, and she would have been dead. She was taken to the infirmary and brought back to health. All four of her limbs were so broken that it was a miracle they were even repaired. Nino barely stayed awake throughout her treatments, but whenever she was awake, she’d refuse to say anything to anyone, or eat any meals. She’d only cry.

The pegasus knights were thankfully quiet on the matter, but word got out very quickly on Nino’s suicide attempt due to a rather panicky housekeeper. Nino refused to tell anyone anything. She didn’t bother trying to clear up that she had changed her mind. All that mattered to her was that she was cowardly enough to try it in the first place. Even if she tried to deny it... on her desk was a tear-stained note that outlined it all.

“I know what I did was selfish and cowardly. I know what I did will cause some to shed tears in other people’s eyes and be unforgivable in everyone else’s. I hate what I’m doing because I know it will hurt so many people. But I can’t do it anymore. I’m going to die soon, I know it in my heart. I should have been dead a long time ago. I should have been dead six years ago. But you all gave me a home here in the monastery. You all helped me feel safe. You all helped me feel love again. But I couldn’t do it anymore. The nightmares came back. Every day I’m on the battlefield, all I can think about is going home to Elibe. But I can’t go to Elibe. I’m being hunted there too. It’s a choice between whether I’ll die here or in Elibe. I tried so hard to feel better, but I couldn’t. I let myself depend on everyone too much. I wasn’t ready to become independent. I wasn’t ready to become an adult. I wanted to stay the Little Eagle forever and ever. But I couldn’t. It would be stupid if I did. I’m not a child anymore. And that is why I realized why I can’t stay in the world anymore. I’m fated to die soon because I’ve failed to grow. I just want it to be over. I want it to be over as soon as possible so I won’t kill any more people. Please don’t be sad. I don’t deserve to be mourned; I failed to die for the Empire. I’ll be happy where I’m going. I’ll get to see Mom, Dad, Brother, Lloyd, Linus, Brendan, maybe even Jaffar. You all have so much ahead of you. I’m sorry that I didn’t.”

Anime like a figure to respect about art and folkore

Maybe i dont be a real fan of anime and otaku culture but i really love watch it because anime is not just a regular cartoon, it has a lot of signs of culture, realy hard technical an desing work, and very interesting narrative. is a gigant world and behind itself hides a gigant japanese culture. freeze my bones imagine it because meny and meny years of nation are in game through the screen toward our eyes thanks to tecnology they have developed.  I love the animation like an expresion of art because is a new art and is alive! and sometimes in camp of art meny things are dead or are bored. But in animation there are a lot of possibilities to share contents and ideas, imagination, imposible dreams, graeat tales and entertainment like Hayao Miyazaki said in his recent documentaly  about Studio Gihibli The Kingdom of Dreams and Madness meanwhile his fingers runing beyond the window  like a ninja jumped on the rooflops.  I wish someday in Chile we have a culture of animation and desing like this, one that respect ourself history and native roots, i can imagine an anime about tren tren and cai cai vilu for example or a crazy and intergalactic story about Alturas de Machu Pichu's Pet that appears on its album cover. or just give more possibilities to people make art. animation is a great oportunity to find yourself or to fly away and in this caotic times is very appreciated. What were your thought processes behind designing Aster?

Although it may not seem like it, designing Aster was one of the most difficult redesigns I have done so far, I actually had an idea of ​​what to do with him, but I knew I couldn't put many details since Aster is 2d and the characters are animated in this style have a simple design, I did several tests in fact

(Please ignore how disproportionate the body is, that's why I changed Aster's pose like 10 times lol)

And speaking of the poses, idk what happened to me was that I simply didn't like ANY of the poses I drew for Aster, to the point where it started to be stressful. I'll summarize my situation like this:

That is one of the reasons why it took me a little longer to design Aster, then thanks to taking a break and the support of @emillyverse and @annymation (thanks by the way :] ) I managed to resume the drawing and there is a pose that I liked for our star boy

Another thing that was complicated for me with Aster was his hair, because it was literally the flame of a candle, I made quite a few sketches so that Aster's hair looked as aesthetic as possible while I asked myself "How the hell did Disney and Pixar manage to make Hades and Ember look so good with fiery hair?????"

In the end all the effort was worth it, Aster's design is one of my favorites and with the best coloring done so far in digital :D

Regarding the animations, first I plan to listen to the songs and correctly translate Anny's narrations so as not to make mistakes in any important details, then I will make several sketches with the scenes as I did in previous animations… animations that I never finish 😅

I already have some scenes for the songs in mind, because my mind sometimes just starts imagining things out of nowhere when it's bored or something like that (I'm basically distracted and that's finally doing something for me lol)

The process will not be as easy as I say, I will probably have to study a little about storyboards and the procedure for making animatics and animated films in addition to studying basic cinematography things to give better scenarios (camera movements, perspective and things like that)
