Do you make your bed? i basically live in my bed, so no. i want it cozy and making it makes it un-cozy.

What's your favorite number? 3! or rather, repeating 3s. my mom and i look for repeating 3s out in the wild ever since she heard about some kinda christian number thing relating to angels (idk i don't go there), and it's become a whole Thing. i like that we can share it :)

What is your job? i do translations...! spanish and japanese, mostly. i translated a video game last year too which i'm very proud of!

If you could go back to school, would you? yeah tbh. i hated school for disability reasons, but i really enjoy sitting in lectures and learning things. structured learning is great and super easy so i'd love to return. i'd be the kind of person who would get like 20 masters degrees if college were free.

Can you parallel park? noooo..... i never got that far lmao. i don't have a license and i would like it to stay that way for as long as i can get away with it. peace and love ✨

A job you had that would surprise people? i did an internship with the linguistics department while i was an undergrad where i helped do some menial work for a larger research project the school was conducting? i sucked at it though, lol

Do you think aliens are real? statistically speaking there's basically no way there's NO other life in the universe, so yes i do. i'm even fairly confident there has to be intelligent life outside of humans somewhere out there. i do not have any belief in any kind of alien life form having made contact with earth, though.

Can you drive a manual car? yes, actually. which is apparently shocking to people, considering i don't even have a license lmao

What's your guilty pleasure? i have an addiction to solitaire? i downloaded the app about a year ago but i am on level 329. ok girl get a grip

Tattoos? none yet, but i've had my first tattoo figured out since i was in high school. i just don't want to deal with the cost and care of it (lazy + poor...)

Favorite color? a very warm, light pink! almost peach-colored.

Favorite type of music? folk music :) and by folk i mean like. literally the songs people sang around a campfire 300 years ago. like dúlamán and the irish rover and rolling the woodpile and whatnot. but i also really like more modern folk music (big fan of umm santiano, plumbo, celtic woman, the builders and the butchers, mumford & sons, poor man's poison, the longest johns, stuff like that...) and country music. basically a bunch of genres along that sort of continuum.

Do you like puzzles? puzzles like jigsaw puzzles? i hate them, but once i start doing them i can't stop. logic puzzles or whatever are totally my jam, though. seriously i love them so much. i'm not interested in more hands-on puzzles like blocks and stuff.

Any phobias? nnnnno. i was scared of the ocean (specifically and exclusively trenches inside the ocean) growing up but then i got over that, and i've been working on getting over my fear of bugs so they're not super scary anymore either. i also used to suffer from trypophobia but it really hasn't been much of a problem in recent years. idk what happened there, though.

Favorite childhood sport? olympic-level sleeping? idk i tried a lot of sports at my mother's request when i was a kid, but i didn't like any of them. now i enjoy ice skating, but i live in the deep south where it's 80F nine months out of the year so like. lmfao

Do you talk to yourself? YES it's a generational thing. everyone on my mom's side of the family does it so i just picked it up naturally. i make myself laugh constantly ✨

What movies do you adore? my letterboxd Top Four are: the witch (2015), death becomes her (1992), the phantom of the opera (2004), and showgirls (1995) so it's kind of all over the place. i like movies with either very strong, well written stories or campy dumpster fires—NO in-between. the more artistic a movie is, the more likely i am to enjoy it. some other movies that really stand out to me

First thing you wanted to be when you grew up? an architect is the earliest i can remember back to, but i switched my passion project every couple of months and never really settled on anything.

happy five years, everyone!!! i can't believe it, lgc has officially lasted longer than my high school career, my college career, etc... it's crazy to think that such pivotal moments of my life have happened with lgc always there, in the background, as one of the only constants in my life. i say it every year and i'll say it again, but i can't thank you all enough for making lgc be the home that it is for me. i mean, this is the longest relationship i've ever committed to in my life!! seriously though, i'm so grateful for everyone i've met here and everything i've accomplished here, but we're not done yet! we still have so much in store for you all, and the anniversary event is just the tip of the iceberg of the fun stuff we've got planned this year alone. after all five years is just a drop in the bucket, let's double it and make it ten. 😎

it felt like yesterday when i was writing a message for lgc’s first anniversary and now that we’re celebrating the fifth one is something that shocks me sometimes! from starting off as a regular member, to a points and press mod, and now an admin that handles an array of tasks, i’ve seen quite a lot and if there’s anything that these anniversaries remind me of, it’s the dedication and commitment that everyone has to building and maintaining this community. i still remember seeing the first batch of muses receiving their 200 notoriety reward and the excitement and anticipation of wondering what that special 200 notoriety reward submit had to…well, 1,000 notoriety rewards happening! as someone who loves seeing the muses’ progression, it brings me joy whenever i see other muses reach certain milestones because not only does it show the dedication the mun has towards their muse, but the development the muse has gone through, just like the rp itself. legacy started off as a new rp but over time, changes and additions were made to make this rp awesome and a lot of that is thanks to everyone’s contributions. your suggestions, reactions, and even written posts, shaped legacy to be the way it is right now and will continue to do so in the future too! i’d also like to give a special shoutout to the past and present admod team members! legacy itself is quite a massive roleplay to take care of, but thank you so much for all of your effort and ideas! it makes me happy reading and seeing some of the projects being worked on behind the scenes from the admods and every time i hope that everyone else enjoys them too! as mentioned above, there are exciting things coming and i’m certain that the rest of 2024 and 2025 will be quite a ride too (trust me, some stuffs for 2025 have been planned since q2)! once again, thank you everyone for being a part of such a special moment and happy 5th anniversary to lgcrp!

five years already, it sounds surreal! Although my importance as an admin has become lesser since my return, I can’t help but feel pride that the roleplay has been thriving for such a long time. and that is all thanks to you, the members, as well as the wonderful team of admins and mods that work tirelessly to make LGC function. whether you have recently joined, or even to those who left, everyone who has passed through LGC has left their mark and helped make it the place it is today. when we created the rp, I don’t think any of us expected it to last this long with so many invested and wonderful members. it really warms my heart. let’s cheer to another five years, maybe?

1. How many works do you have on A03?

18 as of a few days ago!

2. What's your total A03 word count?

157,937! Which is. Only a fraction of the word count in my Docs folder. Be prepared.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

I mainly write for The Legend of Zelda; specifically Linked Universe! In fact, that's all that's posted on my Ao3 currently, since my fall into that fandom began with me uploading there! Pre-Ao3 I wrote for Black Cat (Anime/Manga), Megaman NT Warrior, various Pokémon things, Assassin's Creed, Yugioh, Final Fantasy XIV and Octopath Traveler! Some of these I still write privately, but I haven't gotten around to re-posting any.

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

Whistling on Deaf Ears - My longest fic on Ao3, focusing on Wild and Twilight's friendship and how good intentions can lead to disaster.

Iconoclasm - Warriors deals with the room full of portraits in Cia's palace. The Chain also deals with it, but with a bit more fire.

Deserving - Twilight finally tells Rusl that he was the wolf in the village during TP, but that also means dealing with some heavier topics. Colin half overhears them and forms his own conclusions.

Something Greater - The start of the "Hyrule can see magical auras" series! In this one we deal with Legend and his many rings.

Ocean Magic - Mermaid Legend and Zora Time have a race and then fight one of the Big Octos from WW! Fun times.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Every single one!! I love comments, they give me an excuse to ramble about my fic more!! I am always down to ramble about every single insignificant detail of any line and/or section. If you ever want more background info about one of my fics, look to the comments!

So please, I adore comments, I treat them like treasures, not responding to them would be a CRIME.

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

There's no contest; Inevitable, my (so far) only MCD fic.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Hmmm, that's hard to quantify. I usually try to end fics on a hopeful note regardless. I'd say possibly either Deserving, where Twilight reconnects with his family, or Shimmering Blue, Striking White, where Time meets the Fierce Deity settled down on Satori Mountain and they both get closure.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Thankfully, no! I've been blessed with mostly amazing and patient readers, even when my upload schedule isn't the best.

9. Do you write smut?

No, not really. I've attempted it, but I'm too asexual for it lol

10. Do you write crossovers?

Very, very rarely. Mostly privately, and only very specific ones. Only a single one has had an actual plot, so far (more on that one in question 15!).

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Nope!

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Also a nope! I tend to write for smaller fandoms, where these things don't tend to happen a lot!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I have! But it's been a while. Over a decade, in fact! I tried to find the fic to link it here, but it was on the German fanfic website fanfiktion.de, and my friend who posted it back then must have deactivated her account, because it's nowhere to be seen (I still have the Word file though!). It was a Multi-Crossover that started as an RP in a forum, and we took turns turning the RP into prose one chapter each. "If a Hero Turns to Dark" was its title. We were edgy teenagers.

14. What's your all-time favourite ship?

Hissssss. Bad question. Shoo. They are all equally important!!

But it's probably TenRose from Doctor Who.

15. What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

One of the very few crossovers I've ever worked on; a crossover fic between Assassin's Creed and Doctor Who, that I have mapped out in both chronological and timeline order, and yes, those are different. I only ever wrote about a quarter of it, since my primary audience of it disappeared when we graduated. I doubt I'll ever pick it back up properly, and if I do it'll probably go through heavy rewrites first since it's so old. Finishing it is a nice thought, but realistically, after 9 years it'll never be high priority enough for it to actually happen.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Dialogue, especially arguments, and emotional impact. I've been told I do really well making characters feel alive and believable! Also I like to believe I'm decent at setting a scene and giving it the vibe I want it to have!

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I struggle with dialogue tags when nothing much is happening besides the talking. I always feel it's too bland, and fall back on the same phrases. My scene transitions could use some work too.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I've done this with Japanese phrases, because I was a massive weeb. Usually I followed them up with their own translations, though; I'm not the biggest fan of footnote translations, unless they are properly linked to. Simple dialogue tags are my favourite way of indicating a language switch.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Black Cat the Manga/Anime! It's a series about an assassin turned bounty hunter trying to live a life separate from his murdery past, but getting dragged back into things by still wanting to avenge his best friend's death. The series has a special place in my heart and my bookshelf, it left an imprint on 13-year-old me that will never leave.

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

Probably Jailbreak, uncharacteristically enough! It's one of the only fics I never got stuck in once. Writing it was a great feeling from start to finish. I love writing all of my fics, but that was a special few days.

Summary/Request: Our baby Shuri has been through a lot and she needs an outlet.

Author’s Note: I know i've been releasing a lot of smut filled fic but I really wanted to capture Shuri is her truest form ( in my head at least)

Translations: Sthandwa = My love

Shuri’s head rests on your lap, hands caressing the sides of your hips as soft African lofi plays in the background while you two are resting in her bedroom. One of your hands travels through the maze of her curls, aiding in a soothing feeling to the woman whose mind did not allow her to rest. You are currently occupied with a book that T’Challa had left for you and Shuri to read that he had written for you. A token of love he felt for the two of you as individuals and as a pair he knew would stand the test of time. Sweet but also five hundred pages long. His heart was truly in it.

Today was one of those quiet days for Shuri. She barely responded to her colleagues at her laboratory, her mind constantly wandered to a thousand different realms during council meetings and she couldn’t seem to find her footing anymore when it came to building and trying to help her country.

Ever since she had lost her last family member, everyday Princess Shuri would always ask herself the same question and always come to no definite conclusion: who am I? For the longest time, her identity rested in her achievements or titles bestowed upon her by others. She wasn’t necessarily questioning her abilities to get tasks or assignments done; she still excelled as a scientist and during her training with the Dora but that’s just it. Is that all she is? A scientist and the Black Panther? These questions made her feel as though she was experiencing an existential crisis at the mere age of 21 but in all honesty, it has been making her so anxious and uneasy.

Turning to Bast felt like a waste of time to her since she was abandoned by her family in the ancestral plane and the last words she heard from her mother “show them who you are” didn’t resonate with her at any degree because who is she truly? Clearly her mother saw something in her that she still cannot and the fact that she doesn’t have any family to help her navigate this journey of self discovery at times pushed her over the edge.

How is she meant to find purpose and reasoning in this world that doesn’t seem to stop taking from her? She’s sure that pretty soon all that will be left of her is her name. The advancements that she has contributed to the world of science have only made it easier for her to ignore the deep rooted feeling of confusion that she felt within the depths of her soul.

Sighing out in frustration, Shuri quickly raised her head away from you, sending the book in your hand flying and giving herself an excruciating headache. Grumbling under her breath, she couldn’t help but feel pathetic. Even when she’s alone with her love, her mind still plays games on her and she seems to fall for it every single time. Luckily she has been more open and honest with you about how she has been coping with her state of being but it has been getting harder and harder everyday to put on a smile and march forward.

Climbing off the bed, she went to retrieve your novel for you, looking enticing might I add, with a simple white tank top and pair of black spanx that showed off her incredible physique that she has been training so hard to achieve. Delicately grabbing the book off the floor, Shuri felt her blood run cold as she skimmed the cover, eyes darting back and forth thinking this was yet again another trick being played on her. To My Loves by T’Challa Udaku it read. That is the name he had for the two of you, even far before Shuri had mustered up the courage to ask you to be hers. Tears filled her eyes and they eventually littered the novel in her hands. Shoulders slouched over, shaking with no intention to stop any time soon, she made her way back to the bed and buried her face in your shoulder crying until she didn’t have the energy to continue.

“Awe baby what’s going on? Is it the book? I’m sorry he told me to show it to you once I finish. I can put it away if–”

The cries became heavier and tears came out harder as she dropped her full weight on top of you, squeezing you in her arms as if you are meant to disappear at any second and honestly speaking you just might. Her mind goes back to the love her brother had for the two of you, always telling her, “Shuri, you know you’ve got a special one and you need to do everything in your power to keep her. You two are a lot more similar than you think.”

All this time she has spent searching, questioning and debating her existence and place in this world, it never dawned on her that the one person who knows her more than any other soul she’s come across might be able to truly navigate her feelings of despair. Of course T’Challa wrote a book for you and Shuri, he could never once hide his adoration for how much you have been able to help Shuri bring out the light that has always been inside of her and he also teased that the two of you would one day reign side by side as the Queens of Wakanda. If only he was here to provide his guidance to her just one last time.

“How am I supposed to be,” she sniffles, eyes meeting yours tears overflowing from her cheeks and staining her shirt, “your woman and love you the way you deserve if I can’t even understand who I am? My mind won’t give me a break and I can’t keep doing this.” Her speech is decorated with hiccups and pauses, showcasing a side of Shuri you haven’t seen in such a long time. She is normally so stoic and tall in her presence but she is now quite literally in shambles, unable to get proper handle for herself.

It’s about time she broke down like this. She’d been trying to just hold these feelings hostage without any real release and now she can truly start to move forward even if she didn’t see it that way.

“How does being the world's smartest woman or a princess help me deal with the fact that I’m lost sthandwa? How does any of this black panther nonsense help me—”

“Baby,” you cooed, wiping her tears, heart breaking at the sight ,”I need you to take a couple of breaths okay? Can you do that for me?”

Roughly shaking her head in disagreement, she continued “How is breathing gonna help if I don’t want—”

“Shuri! Please. Breathe. Right now.”

One, two, three, four, she counted in her head. Maybe she was doing too much or overreacting instead of thinking things through logically.

“Everything you are feeling is valid my love.” She has been doing a lot of thinking out loud in her most vulnerable moments. “The last thing you need to do is worry your pretty head about how you can be better for me when I accept you for all that you are.”

Shifting around in her grasp, you reach for the love letter her brother dedicated to her. Opening to the first page, you placed the book in her hands.

“Here. Read it. All you need right now is a little something to ground you.”

Deep down, she still has not been able to come to terms with her brother’s passing so the thoughts of reading his words, knowing his voice would be speaking to her scared her more than anything. Sensing her hesitance, you gently rubbed a hand on her back. “I’m right here with you. Don’t worry too much, okay?”

Slowly nodding, she gathered herself to uncover the true last words her brother had for her.

“To my Shuri. Firstly you are mine. Everything that you are comes from your heart and nothing can ever compete with how much you have changed me as a man—.” She closes the pages, heart fluttering at his kind words but the feeling of his absence taking over her once again.

Maybe this is exactly what she needed. A chance to see herself through the lenses of those who celebrated her the most. She always held her brothers’ words in the highest regard so maybe he hasn’t completely abandoned her after all. She can already start to feel a shift within herself.

Bast, she whispers in her mind, thank you.

Maybe it’s not so bad to believe again.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I try to, but I've been absolutely terrible at it lately — whenever I'm particularly stressed I start worrying that the negative emotions are going to leak through into what I'm writing and make my tone sound weird, so then I end up turtling in on myself and not saying anything at all, no matter how much I want to engage with people. It's a bad habit, and I want to work on it, so I'm gonna try to catch up on comments! (I treasure every single one of the ones I receive, so for anyone who has left a comment and hasn't gotten a response from me yet, thank you and I am very sorry about my inability to form words in a timely manner skdjfksd)

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Probably An Unsent Letter, since it's pretty much just a short snippet of Dazai being sad while he's leaving the mafia. And even with that one, I have in my head that skk still get together after the four years apart, I just didn't write it. I am dreadful with sad endings — although the ending to "This is how it feels to take a fall" is a little bittersweet, perhaps.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Hmm...I'm gonna say Dazai and the Moving Detective Agency, because it's the one with the longest buildup, so I think it has the most catharsis, at least for me! But I tend to give all of my fics happy endings because, as established, I am a wimp when it comes to hardcore angst. I will say that Zut Alors I Have Missed One is probably a contender for happiest as well, just because that fic had no angst whatsoever and was just Unhinged

8. Do you get hate on fic?

Nope! Everyone's been lovely! I have gotten some for my art, but honestly it was pretty toothless and I couldn't take it seriously lol

9. Do you write smut?

...Yeh. :0 There was an attempt, at least — one fic, and I made it anonymous (so on the extreme off-chance that anyone notices a discrepancy between my total ao3 wordcount listed here and the summed up wordcounts of the fics viewable on my profile, that's why!) It's also another fic I need to finish, I hit my writing roadblock with that one at the same time as all my others, and it's almost doneeee I just need my brain to cooperate >:|

10. Do you write crossovers?

Not any proper crossovers, only things like the Howl AU and the Little Mermaid AU, where I took the settings/plots and put in BSD characters.

Not that I know of!

...Possibly? I'm not actually sure, I've given a couple people permission, but I'm not sure if anything came of that, I haven't heard one way or another :0 I do have a tendency to use puns, which I realize might make things difficult for translations

No, not so far — and given how tempestuous my schedule has been, it'll probably be a while before I attempt anything like that! Sounds fun, though

14. What's your all-time favorite ship?

...I mean, it's gotta be soukoku, because for all that I've enjoyed a lot of fictional pairings before (for example, Howl and Sophie specifically from the HMC books, Beatrice and Benedick from Much Ado About Nothing — I like bickering duos, what do you know — Peter Wimsey and Harriet Vane, currently falling down the Hualian rabbithole because I'm reading Heaven Official's Blessing with my friend, and there's lots of other ones), for as much as I like all those, I haven't really had much of an urge to write anything for them.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but probably won't?

Hmmm...honestly, most of my WIPs I still intend to finish at some point or another — first priority being the ones I've already started posting, of course! Although...just due to time constraints, I might not get around to writing the thief!Chuuya/detective!Dazai one I was planning a while back. (and I mean a WHILE lol) I didn't write very much of it, and honestly most of the reason I wanted to write it was for comedy — so maybe I'll turn it into a short comic series instead, because I do think some of the bits were funny :0

16. What are your writing strengths?

That's a hard one; I tend to look more at the ways I want to improve my writing then at what I like about it, and I nitpick just about everything I create, art and writing alike. But if I had to pick something, I would probably say dialogue? That tends to be what I write easiest, at least. I still want to get better at that too, though.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Descriptions and action scenes. I've been making myself write them more, so I think I'm slowly improving (the Howl AU has been great for that! It pushed me to write all sorts of scenes I wouldn't have normally :D ), but those two things remain what I get bogged down by the most.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Depends on the circumstances, I think? I'd include translations if I did. I do tend to include Japanese honorifics when I'm writing in the canon universe, because there's not really english equivalents and it feels like I'm leaving something out when I just do their names straight — although I did take them out when I was doing the Howl AU and the Little Mermaid AU, just as a setting thing.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Bungou Stray Dogs — like I mentioned in the ship section, this is the first fandom where I've really felt the urge. Although I did write things when I was little that very blatantly yoinked in various creatures and concepts from the things I was reading and watching, which resulted in stories with pirates and weeping angels and Ringwraiths all running around in the same place. But I didn't usually bother with bringing in actual characters from those pieces of media, or even using the settings, I just made ocs and had them run around in my own made up world.

20. Favorite fic you've written?

I like all of them for different reasons, but I think my favorite overall has to be Dazai and the Moving Detective Agency. It's the longest thing I've ever written, and when I started out I wasn't sure I'd be able to do it — so the fact that it's most of the way done (currently chipping away at the epilogue, it is getting to be a LOT of words) makes me really happy. And it's just been so much fun! Writing characters I hadn't before, piecing the world together, working out the magic system, writing Dazai being a mess and Chuuya being cool, it's all been a blast. And I seriously need to finish the epilogue, because the followups are living in my brain and they demand to be freed aksdfjksdjfk

quite honestly is the kinkest filth I've ever written because unfortunately I had a conversation with a friend about how the supers are aliens and well. it hasn't left me alone for about 2+ years now.

Something probably rather complex. “When you do math, how often you have to remember to simplify it?” “Literally all the time.” Kara’s answer comes too quickly to be anything but the truth and the pink that dusts her cheeks a moment after simply confirms it. It’s fun, still discovering the vast complexity that is Kara Zor-El.

The idea honestly is to have two chapters: one to do the talking and character exploration, one to do the filth. We'll see if it ever actually sees the light of day but at the moment it is about 2k long which. Is setting up to be one of the longest things I've ever written outside of a school paper.

I would like to believe that I can finish all of my WIPs, haha. But the one that would probably take the longest to finish is The Repertoire Continues (Love Never Dies), which I realize is ironic given the title alskjdfsldf. I rarely see any other content from the fandom so my brainworms for it don't get activated. I would still like to finish it someday, though.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Dialogue and emotions. Character voice is one of my favorite things to write, discovering how different characters would have various reactions to the same situation. I've often had to modify outlines because I'd realize that the original flow of the scenes didn't make sense anymore because the characters' reactions wouldn't lead them to that outcome. And bringing emotions out of characters is fun too, especially the stoic and tsundere characters. It's why I like writing Hurt/Comfort, haha.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Writing descriptions for places, outfits, and food 😣 Especially places. I have a hard time imagining what a place might look like. That's usually what I ask @patchyegg87 for help with when we co-write fics. And she has recently taught me how to use Pinterest as a reference when writing descriptions for stuff, and I'd been practicing that. I really wanna get better at writing visual descriptions, it's always so cool when I read a fic that has such vivid imagery.

I have no problem with it. The very first fic I'd written, A Rival in Scarlet (Twisted Wonderland), has some French sentences in it that were translated into English when the POV switched to the French speaker's. Fanfics are for having fun, and sometimes part of that is incorporating another language you know or are trying to learn~

Ooh, I don't know, that's a hard one. Granting Favors (Twisted Wonderland) would always have a special place in my heart because it's my first multi-chapter fic and I honed much of my writing skills in that one. "I Do": The Long-Term Deal (Twisted Wonderland) is also very fun to write and that's the fic where I really learned to write character voice well because it's post-canon and the characters have aged a few years, and it was fun to figure out how they had changed in that time while retaining their core personalities. And of course Tomorrows Over Centuries (The Sandman). I'd read a lot of Dreamling fics before writing that one, and I was so happy to finish a Dreamling fic of my own. I love them, Your Honor.

Well...Happy 1 year of QSMP I guess...

There's just no easy way to say anything about everything that's been happening the past few weeks and everything that's happened since yesterday because it's a fucking dumpster fire and I'm just so tired of it all to be honest...

But this post isn't about that.

I still want to celebrate this server's first year anniversary because of how much it means to me personally. I made a post talking about how I initially started watching the qsmp (two days early 💀) but I'll reiterate what I've always said:

That despite all the problems of the server, despite all the damage that has been done, never forget what it has managed to achieve and hopefully continues to achieve in the future, under better conditions.

The QSMP's mission was to unite people from all over the world to play together and be friends despite speaking different languages and having different cultures. It united communities and formed friendships across the globe. Personally, achieving that takes more than just sticking random people in the same room together because it's about making genuine connections that could last a lifetime. And the qsmp achieved that. I'll never stop saying this because despite all its glaring problems, the qsmp is revolutionary for all the good it has managed to do.

Ok, like think about the translations alone. I'm using Bad as an example because he's the only one so far that I've seen do this but, BBH has set up live translations of multiple languages on his screen so non-english speakers can still understand his streams and his vods even if he's not playing on the qsmp. That wouldn't have happened without the QSMP's influence. That's fucking incredible!

Think about all the CC's and admins that became friends after meeting on the server. Former admins like Lumi (Pomme) and Shade (Dapper) still talking to Bad on his chat and watching his stream. That's still really awesome! Not to mention all the amazing collaboration projects with many qsmp members outside minecraft like Ordem Paranormal and Liar Liar, to name a few.

Look, the last three weeks have been extremely difficult on everyone. I myself am tired of the situation and scrolling through the tag, especially after yesterday, just makes me sad tbh. For the first time since these weeks, I felt so despondent and shocked about everything. It got to the point where, after Shade and Lumi announced their departure, I called my mom and broke down sobbing and vented about the whole admin situation. And bless her heart, my mom actually listened and I'm going to share the advice she gave me:

"Let them fix the problem. Let the company do the restructuring they need to do because right now, it sounds like they have a lot of problems to fix. It's going to take a long time before things can go back to any sense of normalcy, so while they do that, focus on yourself for now. If you're so invested in all the problems of this online world, maybe it's time to step back for now. Maybe it's time to focus on the real world."

And well, she's right. I've been so upset about the situation that my mental health wasn't faring well because of it. Yesterday was kind of a wake up call for me I guess?

I've been in this fandom for 10 months now. It's the longest time I've been invested in a community and qsmp has and will always have a special place in my heart. But I think it's time to let go and move on for now. I'll keep my hopes up and hope that the future is bright, and the qsmp will continue because it has so much potential to achieve more greatness, but I'll leave the project to rest and focus on other endeavors for now.

I'll be posting art and checking in on stuff from time to time, and of course, I'll be watching BBH, but it might be time to depart and say, "Thanks for everything, and I'll see you later."

Most people will be ashamed to mention the fandoms they've been a part of when they were younger, but 10 years from now, if anyone ever asks if I was a part of the qsmp fandom, I'll gladly say yes and tell all the good stories I have about it.

I love the community we made here on qsmpblr, and if I trust the QSMP's mission of uniting people, then I trust that, no matter what happens, this community will be here when I return.

Because...Despite everything, it's all about love, right? And no matter what happens, the love is still there, and will always be.

I'm a sucker for long stories, both reading and writing. I normally have a hard time keeping it short and that shows. So here are my long stories.

On her first evening of 5th year, Hermione happens to be out on the grounds when Professor Snape returns from a Death Eater meeting, badly injured. She has to help and has no idea that this one evening will shake up her life.

"About Magic" (German) Rated E, Romione/Snamione, complete, 372k

'Unheilbar' ist auch nur ein anderes Wort für 'unmöglich' und wenn Hermine eines gelernt hat, dann dass in der magischen Welt eigentlich nichts unmöglich ist. Oder es zumindest nicht bleiben muss und wenn es mal eine Situation gegeben hat, in der sie darauf gezählt hat, dann diese. Die Frage ist nur, ob die magische Welt ihrem Anspruch gerecht werden kann und wenn ja, zu welchem Preis.

My last long project that I love to bits although it wasn't as huge a success as other stories of mine. Not a typical shipper story, very plot-heavy, and the story that most felt like writing a real novel because it has such a dense plot. I'm proud of my writing style in this one and I'm looking forward to translating it someday. ^^

"Ein Funke und Zunder" (German) Rated E, Draco/Neville, complete, 67k

Draco bekommt einen Auftrag von Snape, dem er allein nicht gewachsen ist. Eine kleine Erpressung verschafft ihm die Hilfe, die er braucht.

An outlier amongst my stories in more than one way. First: the pairing. It is a story I wrote for someone else and they wanted this pairing. The plot sounded fun so I wrote it. Second: the tone. I know, it's uncool to laugh about your own humour but really: I was exceptionally funny in this one. XD This story is peak teenage comedy/angst/coming of age/coming out/coming to terms with yourself and I will never be able to write something like that ever again. ^^

"Das geheime Opfer" (German) Rated E, Lumione, complete, 77k

Das Ende des Krieges steht kurz bevor und noch ist nicht entschieden, wer triumphieren wird. Hermine ist getrennt von Harry und Ron und bekommt Anweisungen, die das Blatt zu ihren Gunsten wenden können. Und obwohl diese Anweisungen von Severus Snape stammen, zögert sie nicht – eine Entscheidung, die sie noch Jahre später bitter bereuen wird.

Another outlier, another story I wrote for someone else. I don't exactly dislike Lumione but it's not what my muse thrives for so I usually don't write it. But I had a lot of fun writing this one and it is the source of one of my Lucius headcanons: that man is pants at Occlumency but he can see auras. It seeped into my image of him, so much so that I'm always confused when I see him depicted as a talented Occlumens in other stories. XD It's a fun concept and I used it in all of my stories whenever Lucius plays a role ever since.

Medium length stories

For a long time, medium-length stories weren't really my thing. I wrote either one-shots or long stories, with few exceptions. But in recent months, I grew fond of them, especially of the four-chapter version. *lol* Don't ask me why, it started with Tempus and, then came Souls and I'm working on another four-chapter story again. Guess it's a thing I do now... ^^

"Tempus Gratiae" (English | German) Rated E, Snamione, complete, 24k

Professor Snape disappears for a week during Hermione's 6th year. Without a trace. Then he returns and everything is as before. Except for a few details that arouse Hermione's curiosity. But only seven years later the mystery begins to unravel.

A fun little story written for an advent calendar, I think, with the theme 'A Place in Time', so, of course, I had to write time travel - but with a twist. ^^ I love playing with time and this was my first plot playing with it. It is a bit more complicated than it had to be strictly speaking, but that was also due to the fact that a friend gave me some prompts to work with so it's not entirely my fault. XD

"Our Souls at Full Moon" (English | German) Rated E, Snamione/Snulciber/Romione, complete, 36k

Tricks have consequences, forgetfulness an aftermath. And those usually don't affect the ones who deserve it.

This story has a special place in my heart because it was a pain in the ass to write, okay?! I had this plot bunny that wouldn't shut up and absolutely no time to devote to the 100+k words it would have become had I written in how I usually write stories. So I took a different approach and made it a story in drabbles and double drabbles. But not only that! I also tried some tips about writing I found shortly before I wrote this and that initially gave me the 'Yeah, well, that's not for me' vibe. Still couldn't stop thinking about that either, though, and so I experimented a bit. Not sure how good the English translation is. My beta sent back a lot of 'not sure what you're trying to say here'... *cough*

"Otherside" (English | German) Rated E, Severus Snape & Severus Snape/Snamione, complete, 21k

Meeting himself on the curved surface of a prophecy sphere was the last thing Severus had expected when he went to work that morning - and that was only the tip of the iceberg that would be his next 36 hours.

My story for this year's Questival Fest and another time travel sort of thing story. I'm normally not a fan of adventure plots, all the action stuff is just not for me, I'm more the relationship writer. But when I saw the prompts a bunny scampered into my brain and it made me laugh only thinking about it so I had to write it, yk? -.- But I did so whinging and bitching about the action part! It's still funny, though. XD

"The Bat, the Weasle and the Know-It-All" (English) Rated E, Hermione/Severus/Ron, ongoing one-shot series, 31k so far

My answer to all the Ron!bashing in the Snamione fandom. There once was a Kinktober and my decision to write two smutty ficlets for that occasion. And then there was Ron suddenly being part of my Snamione pairing and then my brain couldn't stop thinking so the two smutty ficlets turned into five so far and what can I say? I love those three. They make such a wholesome triad... I have some more chapters planned but not written yet. Every story is satisfactorily finished though so if you're brave enough, give it a try!

After Fate has shown her a devastating prediction of the future, Sybill finds herself responsible for preventing it from coming true. Unfortunately, that means getting involved with one Severus Snape.

A what-if treated seriously, I guess... XD Not my pairing but I grew surprisingly fond of this Sybill and had a lot of fun writing this, except for the last chapter. Guess I'm a bit tired of canon at this point, I need to go more off the rails with my stories. ^^

I always wanted to write Severus and Hermione going through that list of 36 questions to fall in love but the only scenario I could imagine causing Severus to acquiesce to that was Marriage Law and didn't want to write a full Marriage Law story because there are already so many of them! So, eventually, I decided to only write this part of my Marriage Law story and make it open-ended! Complain as much as you want, I will not continue this, I just wanted to see how those questions get them and now I know. XD

Short stories

What can I say? I love short stories. It's just so satisfying to begin and finish a story within a few days instead of a few months (or years...). Plus I love writing short stories for people I like so I collected quite a few short stories at this point. Guess there's one for everybody. ^^

A soliloquy takes an unexpected turn.

A story of mine that's so old that I don't even remember how it happened or why. It was a story I dedicated to a former fandom friend, probably for her birthday? I don't know. It's a cute story, nothing bad happens here. ^^

"The Snapes" (English | German) Rated M, Snamione, complete, 4k

The Snapes were the most remarkable couple Elliot Quinn had ever met – and he didn't only mean that in a positive way. Well … to be honest, he wasn't quite sure how he meant it at all.

I do remember how this story happened, though! When I was posting my last long story, I offered a one-shot for every 100. comment I got, and this story was one of them. The writer of said comment wanted Snamione in couples therapy, and because I wanted to give that theme a twist (and because it had to stay a fucking one-shot!), I wrote from the therapist's pov - who is a Muggle. XD I had a lot of fun writing this. :D

Another old one of mine that uses Legilimency - another favourite thing of mine to play with - in a slightly different way than the source material suggested it works.

Another 100. comment one-shot and I love this story to bits even though the two major impulses didn't come from me. The reader wanted not-so-rosy Snamione, preferred smutty, and I still had this headcanon about Pensieve bars churning in my head that I found in a Tumblr post so I combined those. And let me tell you, the mood in this story is what I crave. That's my vibe! XD The Tumblr post is linked in the story, by the way, just in case you're interested. Love that idea!

The appearance of an unexpected person at the annual celebration of the Dark Lord's fall turns Hermione's emotional life upside down and drags a long-repressed past back into the light.

I've always been fascinated by polar lights and this story is my love letter to them.

Severus can't believe it when Hermione Granger returns to Hogwarts two years after the end of the war to teach Muggle Studies. He tries to unravel the mystery behind this ridiculous decision and finds first nothing (convincing) and then a lot (unexpected).

You know what's another thing I love? Twisting clichés and often used tropes. Here it was the soulmate trope that I had to twist around and I had a lot of fun writing it. :D

"A Fighting Heart" (English) Rated M, gen, kind of complete for now, 6k

In a world in which Voldemort wins the war, Ginny finds herself being the property of Severus Snape - a position that turns out completely different than she'd expected.

I have this plot for a long Voldemort wins story in mind that I plan to write one day and last year for Whumptober I wanted to dip my toe into this plot and this kind of first chapter or teaser happened. It has an open end at this point in the sense that Voldemort doesn't get killed but I think you can pretty well read it as a one-shot as well and at this point, I'm thinking about making the whole story this kind of one-shot type chapters that are kind of complete but construct a whole story in the end. We'll see. So far, this is what I have and maybe the story will one day step up through my categories. ^^

"Look No Further" (English | Deutsch) Rated M, Snamione, complete, 8k

When the damaged west wing of Hogwarts takes its toll on the wards, Severus has to realise that there's nothing that can be done about it anymore. The wards will crumble and since he is the Headmaster, they will kill him in the process. Hermione, however, is not ready to give up like that.

My story for last year's SSHG Holiday Prompt Fest. To be honest, there was this prompt that screamed 'and then they fucked!' and my need to twist clichés kicked in and I had to make it something entirely different. XD It got a tad bit too dramatic considering it's meant to be a Christmas story and I'm not happy with the first scene, but I do like the relationship Hermione and Severus have in this. <3

"Beethoven und Gremlins" (Deutsch) Rated G, Snamione, complete, 1,3k

Alltag mit Severus Snape war wie … Beethoven auf einem Rockfestival. Und Alltag mit Hermine wie … verheiratet sein mit einem Gremlin.

Another 100. comment fic, my shortest one, I think. The reader wanted some domestic fluff with a married Snamione and this is what I came up with - on my second try. I swear, I'm pants at fluff. If there isn't a decent amount of drama, I just can't. >.< But I think this turned out fine and I like the metaphors I came up with. ^^

"Nur ein kitschiger Moment" (Deutsch) Rated G, Snamione, complete, 2,5k

Hermine will nur diesen einen kitschigen Moment an Weihnachten - unglücklicherweise hat sie dafür die falsche Familie.

While we're at fluffy 100. comments fics... This is another one but this reader also wanted children! Can you even imagine how hard I suffered through this?! -.- Well, I did my best. And it was the first time writing a Snamione child in their teens. Interesting experience... *lol* But this story set the name for a possible Snamione son that I will probably use for every son I will ever give them from now on even though the story probably won't connect. XD

"Beteiligte Parteien" (Deutsch) Rated T, Pre-Snamione, complete, 3,6k

Nach einer Gedenkfeier im Ministerium mit sehr viel Alkohol stellt Hermine fest, dass sie schwanger ist. Und so wenig sie es auch selbst glauben kann, es kommt am Ende ihres Ausschlussverfahrens nur einer als Vater in Frage.

Wanna guess? Yes, another 100. comments fic. XD And one of the stories I got the most complaints about because I refuse to write a sequel. The commenter asked for this scene specifically and I don't see the need to write more because there are already a ton of Snamiones with this premise! No need for me to add my own... Plus I would twist it anyway and you would hate me for that so it's better this way for all of us. XD

A thank you one-shot for my former beta after she beta-read my last long story for me. Yes, I love writing one-shots for my readers, okay? But this one was a challenge. My former beta is a huge fan of Bill Weasley and has written tons of stories with him and so I was kind of scared that I'd screw this up. XD But I think she was quite happy with what I made of her wish. This story caused me to research a lot of stuff about the Maldives that I will probably never need again and only because Severus mentions in ISEM that he would love to have a house in the Maldives but we're not always getting what we want. My beta wanted to know how his life would look there and so I wrote this. ^^

"Immer Ärger mit dem Chef" (Deutsch) Rated T, Snamione, complete, 5k

Another old one that happened because we were playing "Duck, duck, goose" in the forum I was active back in the day and I was stupid enough to release a duck. Of course, I got goosed and this story was what came of it. ^^ It features business owner Severus and employee Hermione. It's also idiots to lovers and I probably should translate this one day... ^^

Oh, look! This is my shortest story! *lol* That's because it was only a tiny scene to explain one of my old fanarts. Severus had curly hair on that one (because I used Orlando Bloom to put Rickman's face on it) and that had to be explained of course. ^^

Back in the day, there was a LiveJournal community called 120_minuten (120_minutes) and they posted a word prompt every Sunday, iirc, which you had 120 minutes to write a story for. This story happened because of one of those prompts. Sadly, I don't know if I'll ever be able to translate it because there is no good translation for the German word "eigentlich", which was the prompt and is therefore heavily featured in this story. It's even the title! So, I don't know how to accurately translate this but it was fun writing.

Another "Duck, duck, goose" story, this time lovers to idiots to lovers. It's the story of a pregnant Hermione and a stubborn Severus and some friends who decide that they belong together so they force them on a paperchase. It's both funny and heartbreaking and I probably need to translate this one because I like it. ^^

One of the two crack!fics I've ever written because my beta at that time asked me to write it and how could I have denied her that wish after all the crap she corrected for me?! Right! I couldn't. So I sent Severus to Muggle London to buy makeup for Hermione. Well... XD

XD

Yes, NYD story yet again! I said I did those for a couple of years. XD But this one is a tragic one! Not only because it's more on the sad side but also because nobody reads it! And do you know why that is? Because the German site I post on only implemented a kudos feature a couple of years after I posted this story and now it only has 4 kudos and everybody thinks it's bad but it's only old! It hurts my heart to see that story being completely ignored although it features one of my favourite songs and is canon-compliant and causes the perfect kind of heartache. 😭 Was a special kind of amazing when I got a new comment on this story the other day. Finally some recognition for this story. XD

I wrote this story for an advent calendar and revised it about two years ago to post it on my account as well. My only Snuna so far. It is special but I think every story with Luna is. *lol*

Longest Episode Last Night

Hi!

Sorry about last night... I had my longest and by far most painful episode. It was 7 minutes long. The hospital is needed at 5, but the last two times I went to a hospital, I was not only not treated, but I was also neglected. So as soon as I came to, I told everyone in my house not to take me.

I was not going to pay 100$ to be abused like that. @orchid-mantis-petals was on the phone with me for one of those visits, and they reigned hell upon that hospital from literal timezones away.

Im on day 3 or 4 of anti-seizure meds (days are starting to blend). Needless to say that the anti seizure meds are helping, as this is the first large seizure I've had since I started. Yet, at the same time, the adjustment period is painful. Which was made obvious by yesterday's episode.

Thank you all so much for being so patient with me. I may do a tiny drabble on this episode because it was traumatic and also scary. I know brains don't have nerve endings that can indicate pain. However, I don't think I've ever felt the sensation that I did yesterday night. Like my brain was literally electrcuted/fried. I couldn't describe it, and my family was trying to help. The one that could translate was my sister (fellow chronic illness warrior). The sensation was burning, but the temperature was not hot. Meaning that ice did bare minimum for it. It also felt like a hot iron poker was stuck into my left ear. Once again, it didn't have a hot temperature just felt hot.

Anyway, I'll try to write today. However, this is nowhere near a promise of posting. Once again, thanks for your patience and well wishes.

127,025! I think Ashen Wishes is the longest story I've ever written (and it's still going, holy-)

Mostly Undertale. In fact, I haven't written for anything else in years ^^' I need to have a lot of passion for a fandom to get myself to write. Unless the characters live 24/7 in my mind rent-free, no ideas will pop up.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

Yes.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Yeah, I love to! I really appreciate when someone takes their time to leave a nice message :] I always try to reply as soon as possible, or at least within a day.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I currently have a few one-shot ideas that have rather angsty endings, but I couldn't bear writing a whole longfic that ends on a sad note. ...I think.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Ashen Wishes will have a pretty happy, positive ending, so I suppose that counts (?)

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Thankfully, I never have :)

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Well... not really. I've given it a shot a few times and I have a couple ideas, but I don't think I can bring myself to post anything too explicit at the moment.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

I've never written one! I've always found them too difficult to execute well.

I don't think so...? Though I never looked for it.

Nope, but I wonder what that would look like! Although when it comes to writing fics, I'm much more comfortable writing in English than my native language.

Not yet, but it sounds fun. I have friends who help with brainstorming sometimes, if that counts :)

14. What’s your all time favourite ship?

I've never been into shipping characters that much. Sometimes I come across a ship and I genuinely like it, but then I move on. My reader-insert craze just never left me enough, I guess.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I strive to finish everything I start, even though it might, uh, take a little more time. I really hope I won't ever abandon my fics.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Dialogues? Maybe? Those are usually the first things that pop up in my head when I'm trying to figure out a scene, and I build everything else around them. But I'm also really obsessed with pacing and trying to find a healthy balance between the events in a story. I'm not saying it's necessarily working, I just tend to pay more attention to it.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I'm very, very slow. I can linger on a single sentence for ten minutes because I can't get over how awkward a sentence feels, so I just stare at the screen trying to figure out how to fix it. Also, describing environments. I can't make them sound fun for the life of me. I feel like they always end up being very dry and unimaginative :/

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I don't run into them often, but I think they can spice up a dialogue sometimes. I especially like special short phrases that give the conversation a deeper meaning.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Oof, uh, Hollow Knight, if I remember correctly. I don't plan to post any of my older works though ^^'

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

Ashen Wishes is probably the fic I've put the most effort in so far, and it's currently my favorite, too!

Maybe dialog, it's what comes easiest to me. Most of my fics (and my too many wips) started with imaging a character saying one line.

Descriptive details about surroundings. I have a tendency to leave them too vague. I'm working improving it.

I haven't but if I did I would want someone fluent in that language to translate for me. I wouldn't want to risk it being wrong and accidentally offensive.

Willow was the first I shared online but used to write for my friends growing up. This will definitely date me but when I was really, really young I wrote a Ghostwriter self-insert.

idk if I can call this a WIP, but there's always been an idea in my mind about writing a fic inspired by the book Carlos was writing in as if you were a mythical thing. it's a 1970s camp counselor slasher murder mystery style fic that I wrote a little bit of for this prompt fill, but I don't know if a full au will ever come out of it. shame because the playlist and moodbord would slap

world building, banter, angst that feels like a punch in the gut, giving the happy ending room to breathe

smut I feel like. need to learn new ways to say the same exact thing

I think it makes total sense and feels authentic for it to be there every once in a while for non-crucial story details if a character speaks another language

I'm going to go with your first string. I think that has my most full-fledged character arcs and full circle storyline. It's my longest fic and I never really got sick of writing it, which is a pretty good indicator that I enjoyed it
