Concept art of the main cast lineup of "The Many Mini Adventures of Rayman Chibi", an AO3 screenplay adaptation AU of Rayman Chibi. I don't know if we'll be including these guys in the official universe anytime soon, but I do like how things are being planned. This and the fact that the characters are planned to be younger than the original counterparts give me great excuses on regressing the characters in general :D(/j) !
You can read the first part of the first episode here!

Oh yeah I understand they confused me a lot at first too cause it’s a kinda uncanny to see straight up humans exist in Rayman’s world but I’m the type of person who likes to come up with how new characters can change up group dynamics so I quickly accepted it.
i think humans can probably be fine bc i like the design of the the captain guy in adventures, but its kind of a shame that characters in this series can be literally anything, and for The main girl to add as another type of a playable character they just picked a boring ol human. its like. man idk let a girl be a creature
i think the bigger gripe i have is i wish her design wasnt like. That though. three years ago i made an edit to a random rayman mini artwork where they drew her completely differently for some reason
Tumblr media
and if you combine this with the brawlhalla proportions i daresay the design would even be good instead of just "guys shes a girl so shes gotta barely have clothes"! and the concept of a girl whos actually just Nuts and chops people in half with an axe is really fun. theres potential its just that as is shes just eggghhhh ((also a human is kind of a boring choice anyway))
also the fact that shes from legends doesnt help i mean i like legends but. oh boy i complain so much about it and just how much it loses to origins in so many ways

Hello, you might be interested in the Rayman: Alive stream that will showcase news from many Rayman fangames and other new projects. It'll be airing on Decemer 10th, 8pm CET, on the Rayman: Scepter of Leptys YouTube channel. Regards.
Tumblr media
(Sorry again for answering this late...)
But yes, I saw it, thanks for sharing ! Just in case, if people haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend if you're a Rayman fan. There's a lot to talk here, between fan game and ROM hack. The new Rayman Arena online seems really fun.
Really digging the Rayman 2 HD and the Adventure/Mini pack for Rayman Legends, god, it really bring a huge service for theses games.
Also, Rayman's design for Polokurse is amazing.

Quick summary of Apple Arcade games I've played thus far
Tumblr media
All games were played on the Apple TV 4K 128GB model, most with Dualsense, while games that support Siri Remote used the remote instead.
Sonic Dream Team: The maingame (except the contrived red-coin system) is a masterpiece, and the first Sonic platformer I've ever completed. The postgame(s) got weary on me, however.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure: The game is much more like Zelda and other breathlikes (The term I use for games that resemble BotW) than Animal Crossing. I'm mighty impressed by this game and then some.
Easy Come Easy Golf: Plays pretty good for a non-motion-controlled golf game. Could need to have far more courses far earlier in the game, as meaningful variation is practically none even at rank 8.
Way of the Turtle: Very good from the 25〜90% marks of the game, where it's a better Crash Bandicoot game than a lot of actual Crash Bandicoot games. But the endgame levels are brutal to the point of feeling like they weren't worth it.
Alto's Adventure: Honestly a fairly good game. I recommend it to people who've just bought an Apple TV and who are learning how the remote control works.
Amazing Bomberman: Complete rubbish. I could count the framerate on one hand, and that's on the newest Apple TV model.
Gear.Club Stradale: Kept crashing to desktop all the time. And I mean all the time. I was only able to complete 1 race on 5 attempts at starting the game.
Rayman Mini: Severely outdated. No one wants autorunners anymore, and certainly not autorunners that mangle the Rayman Legends timed missions.
Taiko no Tatsujin Pop Tap Beat: Safe to assume that Apple told the devs to make the game less weeb than most other TnT games, which is a good thing. The Power of Love is a nice touch, and the evergreen Cruel Angel's Thesis, the Touhou Song (Night of Knights), and Funiculi Funicula (a.k.a. the Spider-Man 2 pizza song).
Tetris Beat: Weeb stuff. Gave up after 10min because I hadn't heard of any of the songs.
Samba de Amigo Party-to-Go: On the entirely opposite end of the scale, and in fact has too many dance-pop songs. I do give positive shoutout to that its version of Macarena use the actual lyrics, and not the ones with the teenage girls chatting.
Riptide GP Renegade: Practically unplayable with Siri Remote, so I never tested it with Dualsense out of spite. Never got past the tutorial.
Pocket Card Jockey: Tested to see how far I could bruteforce my way through the intro with a Siri Remote, far past the alleged "Connect a controller" prompts. I miraculously managed to get to the first main level, at which point I felt that I had done my duty and never played it afterwards.
Frogger and the Rumbling Ruins: Managed to be less controllable than Pocket Card Jockey even with a Dualsense. Couldn't get past the very first section.
My Little Pony Mane Merge: The "Merge" genre is by itself the worst new game genre in several decades, but Gameloft clearly can't possibly have played even one puzzle console game in their lives, judging by how they mangled the controls beyond recognition.
Kimono Cats: Hardly has any activities in it that count as a game, and the few small remnances that are there are either weeb or Daily Challenges.
Disney SpellStruck: A good concept and is fun to play early on, but dear lords does it get repetitive. Not to mention the word validation system rejecting a lot of common words while accepting nonsense. The cameo of Tinker Bell's house from her titular movies is a nice touch, but a very short touch.
Warped Kart Racers: "We already have Sonic Racing Transformed at home" vibes. Additionally, the battle mode system is the worst in the history of car games. Yes, worse than that of FlatOut 3.
Squiggle Drop: Incomprehensible career progression, not helped by puzzles that start to make no sense after the circa 25th one.
JellyCar Worlds: If you've played 10 levels or so, you've essentially played them all.
Marble It Up Mayhem: Roughly half of the point-to-point levels were reasonably good. The "Collect spheres in a zone" levels were pretty boring.
Beyond Blue: I refuse to believe that any professional livestreamer scuba diver would willingly want to use a suit she described as itchy.
Ballistic Baseball: Seemingly impossible to hit the ball, and the English commentator has the least enthusiastic voice I've ever heard in my life.

Rayman Raving Rabbids: TV Party On the Wii, so Rayman appearing in DLC with the Rabbids will please those who want to see them reunited. The last appearance Rayman shared with the Rabbids was in 2008. Since then, the former Ubisoft mascot has been cast in occasional cameo roles, with Rabbids taking the spotlight from him.

There was some precedent for this DLC as well. Very much in the same vein as the previous two Rabbids games, Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party is a collection of party minigames, distinguished by its television theme, 2D artwork, and its compatibility with the Wii Balance Board for certain minigames. The mini-games in Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party are far better than those in last year's disappointing sequel and the Balance Board support gives it some unique novelty value.

Top 5 Game Series That Need The N.Sane Treatment
Crash Bandicoot was a series that hadn't been seen for years until the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy was revealed to the world. Thanks to this trilogy, not only was the franchise revitalized but we also got a sequel for Crash Warped in the form of Crash 4: It's About Time.
This is a recipe that could potentially bring games lost in obscurity back into the limelight but even a chance for new games to come. Here are some of my picks!
1. Jak and Daxter
Tumblr media
One of the games that seriously needs the N.Sane Trilogy treatment. Jak and Daxter was a game series made by Naughty Dog that would inspire many platforms after. It stars the Demolition Duo, Jak and his partner ottsel, Daxter, on incredible adventures that change in tone over each game. You begin with a goofy island adventure to a dark futuristic playground as new mechanics get introduced.
Out of the main trio which consists of Jak, Sly, and Ratchet, Jak was actually the first game I played amongst them. A series that needs a comeback especially with the Easter Eggs often seen in Ratchet and Clank games throughout the years.
Touch up the graphics into a different style depending on the game, the Precursor Legacy be a bit more cartoony in appearance like Crash 4, and then switch to a style similar to the N.Sane Trilogy for the darker games like Jak 2 and 3.
Adjust the controls to run smoother, change difficulty of certain games like lower the difficulty of Jak 2 a smidge and place an optional mode to play with the original difficulty.
This would lay down the groundwork for an actual proper sequel, Jak X feels more like a side game while Lost Frontier is a snore fest.
If Naughty Dog doesn't take this route and continues pushing out flavorless games, I suggest any decent company that can do should buy the rights to Jak and Daxter. This is a gold mine covered in dust that needs to come back!
2. Sly Cooper
Tumblr media
Yep! We're going to the other member of this once legendary trio, Sly Cooper. Sly Cooper was the second game series from Sucker Punch that I played, the first being Infamous series.
This game revolves around a group of thieves who steal from criminals and tend to get wrapped up in saving the world a few times or battling enemies out to end the bloodline of the main character, Sly Cooper, who comes from a legendary family of thieves.
Before the series disappeared into discontinuity, we had a total of 3 main games alongside one made by Sanzaru. Sanzaru's Thieves of Time was decent but midway World 3, the quality seriously declined and left fans with a very unsatisfied ending. Perfect for crossovers but terrible for the franchise.
Giving this game the N.Sane Trilogy treatment would not only give a more successful chance than attempts to make a movie, but it could to more proper sequel than Sanzaru's version. Use a design similar to Sanzaru's or go for a more rounded one like N.Sane Trilogy.
Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart even had an Easter Egg with Sly in it too! Insomniac acknowledges that these game series still exist by dropping these little nuggets of nostalgia, take the hint and bring back the Legendary Playstation Trio!
3. Spectrobes
Tumblr media
Nintendo's alternate version of Pokemon. Spectrobes is a trilogy game series that debuted on the DS and last game was made for the Wii.
This series revolves around Rallen and Jeena, two members of the Nanairo Patrol, as they search for the fossils of creatures of light known as Spectrobes to find the planet devouring darkness known as Krawl.
You travel through various planets to uncover different kinds of fossils and some very interesting or whacky but loveable characters. It has elements similar to Fossil Fighters where you have to dig up fossils before awakening them. Care for your Spectrobes to battle the Krawl.
The evolving battle system, new mechanics, various locales and the unique design of each Spectrobe were something I loved but pretty sure many would like too. It even had a book and a mini series on YouTube! The game's graphics could take a route similar to Rayman Legends or Dragonball FighterZ.
Don't go for Jump Force please. We need actual expression than stiff faces and aggravating screams.
This is game series worth bringing back even if it just gets a remake.
4. Golden Sun
Tumblr media
Another Nintendo franchise that needs return from obscurity. Golden Sun was a JRPG that came along systems like the Gameboy Advance during a severe lack of games for it. It revolves around different groups of people who use Psynergy, their version of alchemy, to battle evil as they travel the realm of Weyward.
A great game series enriched by its many characters, lore, growing battle system such as Djnn and Summons to turn the tide in battles, unique story and all sorts of areas to explore.
The biggest dent to the franchise was Dark Dawn because of its questionable ending that left many players confused or dissatisfied despite the incredible graphics, plot and character interactions. After that no one has heard a single word about any sequel.
The N.Sane Treatment would not only bring the franchise back for fans both new and old but can actually fix the questionable ending for Dark Dawn. Graphic style, um, I guess something similar to Dragon Quest or maybe Persona. Persona would be the better option considering how you choose how the main character responds to certain situations.
This series has been done dirty and deserves a second chance like this.
5. Kid Icarus
Tumblr media
A Nintendo franchise that shows bringing back old games can revitalize a lost series.
This game series is at the bottom for a decent reason actually. Masahiro Sakurai has been hearing requests about porting one of the games, Uprising, to the Switch. Something that he sounds like he wants to do but there is a problem as he admits it would be difficult.
How Uprising is made for the 3DS such as the dual screens, and specific use of the touch screen for combat. Something that can't easily be translated to something like the Switch without decent changes.
The game revolves around the angel Pit, who fights the evil forces of the Underworld with assistance from his Goddess Palutena. Each game changes the rules of battle with the greatest being Uprising as you combat various creatures and even bosses revolve mostly around Greek mythology.
I think the N. Sane Trilogy can work with this. The first Kid Icarus and the second Of Myth and Monsters might be what could provide the missing pieces for the Uprising Switch Port Situation.
Both games could be completely restyled in a format that could be similar to Zelda since in these games, your options of weapons are limited and you have to think smart for particular puzzles.
They can be used to lay down a format that can built on for an Uprising Remake since Land Battles are one half of the essential gameplay. The graphics can be Uprising since it's already a perfect that just needs to be brushed up a bit.
When it comes to Super Smash Brothers, Sakurai worked hard to make characters like Minecraft Steve or Fighting Game fighters such as Ryu and Kazuya fit into the gameplay even if it meant changing about every hitbox and aspect of the stages. A little help can go a long way.
That's what I've got for now. If I find anymore games that need the N. Sane Trilogy then I'll put em in a new list. Until next time folks!

Milo/Ananda Fic Bits
Summary: Just me writing out mini fics for these two cuties.
Characters: Milo Murphy & Amanda Lopez (Of Course)
Hope you all enjoy these! If you have a favorite, tell me which one it is.
@arendalphaeagle @galaxina-the-pyro @welcome-to-rayman @nautiscarader
First Kiss (On The Lips)
Milo and Amanda were on their way to a diner for their date when it started to rain. Milo pulls an umbrella out of his backpack, only for it to get blown away. Amanda then puts her umbrella over the two of them and they run to the diner. After getting to the diner and taking their seats, they order the nachos.
After being brought out of the kitchen, their waitress trips and the nachos land on their faces. The two then start to laugh about. After that Milo decides to takes Amanda home. “Amanda, I’m sorry this date didn’t go as planned…” Milo apologized, feeling quite guilty. “Milo, similar things happened on our last date and I was perfectly okay with it.” Amanda pointed out.
“I know, I just wish I could give you the perfect date for once…” Milo says before noticed they were at the Lopez Home. “Milo Murphy…” he hears Amanda say before she kisses him on the lips. As they kiss, a few of the street lights explodes, causing a bit of a firework effect. When she pulls away, he shocked. “Every single date we have is perfect as long as I’m with you.” She tells him before going into her home.
“I’ll see you at tomorrow!” She quickly says before closing the door. Milo then walks home, smiling ear to ear. Diogee then walks up to Milo as he walked home. “She really kissed me, Diogee!” Milo tells his dog, clearly still shocked by the kiss.
Dinner With The Parents
Milo was getting ready to have dinner with Amanda’s parents. Sara could see he was clearly nervous. “Don’t worry Milo, I’m sure Amanda’s parents are gonna love you.” Sara assures her brother. “I’m not worried about that, I’m worried about Murphy’s Law ruining things tonight…” Milo tells his sisters.
Later on Milo was in front of the Lopez Home. He rings the doorbell and the door was quickly opened by Mrs. Lopez. “Oh Milo, you’re here! Come on in!” Mrs. Lopez says as she pulls Milo into the house. Amanda was sitting at the table with her father when she noticed him. “Milo!” Amanda squealed with joy before running up to hug him. Mr. Lopez just glares straight at Milo.
“Milo, our daughter has told us nothing but great this about you! You even helped her name her pet rats.” Mrs. Lopez told Milo as they sat down to eat. “Everything looks amazing, Mrs. Lopez!” Milo says while looking at all the food. “Thank you Milo, you’re such a sweet boy!” Mrs. Lopez tells Milo while giving him a plate of food.
Milo then notices Mr. Lopez glaring at him, Amanda notices this as well. “Dad, is everything okay?” Amanda asked, clearly worried. “Everything okay, sweetie! I just need to talk to Milo alone.” Mr. Lopez tells Amanda before he and milo walk out of the dining room and into the kitchen. “Look Mr. Lopez, I know you know about my family’s unlucky history, but I assure you I will always make sure Amanda’s safe around me!” Milo quickly says.
Mr. Lopez just puts a hand on Milo’s shoulder. “I don’t care about your “Murphy’s Law”,” He assures Milo which surprises the boy. “I haven’t seen my daughter the relaxed in a really long time.” He continues. “All thanks to you getting her on that show she likes. I never want her to lose such joy.” He went on and on, which caused Milo to smile.
“So if you EVER upset her in anyway, not even Murphy’s Law could save you. Do we have an understanding?” He whispers to Milo, which causes him to quickly nod his head. “I can assure you Mr. Lopez, I’d never do nothing to hurt Amanda.” Milo tells Mr. Lopez, the man then nods at him and the two of them then return to the dining room.
High School Sweethearts
Everyone who didn’t know them were so shocked to find out that someone like Amanda Lopez (Bossy Class President) would be openly dating someone like Milo Murphy (Adventurous Class Clown). A girl then walks up to Amanda was reading a book. “Hey Amanda, I was just wondering… how did someone like you end up with someone like Milo?” Amanda hears her say this and puts her book down.
“To make a long story short, we understand and love each other very much.” Amanda tells the girl before Milo runs into the cafeteria and up to Amanda. “Hey Mandy, I got your lunch, It didn’t get ruined this time!” Milo says before giving her the bag. “Thank you, Sweetie!” Amanda says in awe before kissing Milo on the cheek and giving him the lunch she made for him.
He then sat with her and gave her kisses on the cheek. She noticed he was hurt, pulls couple of band aids, places them on his wounds and gives him another kiss. As the two ate their lunches, they got noticeable stares from those who don’t know them. Sure they were the Odd Couple in their High School, but they didn’t care. They loved each other so very much.
Double Dates
Whenever Milo was out with Amanda and Zack was out with Melissa, the girls would sometimes try and compete over who has the better boyfriend. “Well, Milo is so precious and amazing to me!” Amanda tells Melissa. “Oh yeah? Zack is not only super good looking and awesome to me, he’s ever accepting of the craziest of things!”
Milo and Zack are just blushing messes during all of it. “Can we just go to dinner now?!” Zack shouts clearly embarrassed. Once the boyfriend competition is over, everyone has a great time. They go to lunch, parks and anything new that comes into town. “Another amazing day…” Amanda says as she and Milo lay on the beach while Melissa chases around Zack with water balloons.
“Wanna join in?” Milo asks Amanda before she picks up a water gun and squirts at him, causing him to run alongside Zack as they’re being chased by Melissa and Amanda.
Jealousy Wears Magenta
It wasn’t surprising that Just Getting Started would be a successful band especially with Amanda’s management (They’re all older and smarter after all). What was surprising was how many thirsty Fangirls would go after only Milo. He was quite the popular guy. Of course Amanda wouldn’t have any of their crap. If they tried to get to him, she’d personally deal with them.
During one of the band’s autograph signings, a perky blonde ran up to Milo and gave him a piece of paper to sign. “Who am I making this out to?” Milo asks the girl. “Your biggest and most loyal fan. Also here’s my number.” The girl says before she gives Milo another piece of paper with her number on it. “Sorry, but I’m seeing someone!” Milo quickly tells the girl before giving her back both pieces of paper.
“She doesn’t have to know!” The girl says defensively before feeling someone grab her shoulder. She turns around and sees a very angry Amanda, wearing her best magenta suit. “Yes, I do!” Amanda replies before dragging the girl away from the autograph signing area. When Amanda got back, Milo gave her a kiss on the lips.
“Have I ever told you how cute you are when you get jealous?” Milo teased Amanda which caused her to blush. “Don’t tease me Milo!!!” She squealed at him before he just gave her a kiss on the forehead. “You know you’re better than all those Fangirls.” Milo tells Amanda before they hear “you two better help us clean all this up!” from Melissa across the room.
Flirtatious Fey (LuckyBug and Fenix Fey AU)
Fenix Fey just finished helping his partner LuckyBug save the day. They were able to save the day, but Milo missed his date with Amanda. He went to their meet up spot as Fenix Fey and saw her still waiting for him with their planned picnic in the basket. “She’ll be so furious if I showed up as just myself…” He thought to himself before he walks up behind her and taps her shoulder.
She turns around and sees him. “Fenix Fey! Was Milo in the middle of the danger?! Is he alright?!” Amanda questions the hero frantically. “Don’t you worry your pretty little head, Madame Lopez, Milo Murphy is safe and sound” He informs her which causes her to sigh in relief. Then he notices her get really angry.
“Then take me to him right now! I’m going to give that cute disaster a piece of my mind!” Amanda went off while Fenix Fey tried his hardest not to blush. “Cute Disaster?!” He thought to himself while quickly looking away from her to hide his blush. It took him a few moments to get his composure back before Amanda could notice. He then picks her up in his arms and runs off.
“Madame Lopez, if you wanted to be in my arms, all you had to do was ask!” the hero in black smirked at the fact that his line made her blush. “The only guy whose arms I wanna be in right now are Milo’s.” Amanda whispered which causes Fenix Fey to go silent for a few seconds. “Okay, your boyfriend should be here soon,” He told Amanda as he put her down. “Thank you, Fenix…” Amanda says to the hero.
He then kisses her and then says “don’t miss me too much!” before winking at her and running off to turn back into Milo. He then takes a bouquet of dark pink roses out of his backpack and walks up behind her and taps her on the shoulder when she turns around and see him she immediately hugs him tight. “Don’t you dare worry me like that again okay?!” She says while pushing her head into his chest.
Milo drops the bouquet of roses and hugs her back. “I can’t tell her, not yet at least.” He thought to himself as he held her tight in his arms.
Their Big & Adventurous Family
Amanda had just given birth to her and Milo’s fourth child; Monica Julia Murphy, while their triplet sons; Lucas, Alejandro and Marshall were with their two sets of grandparents at home. When they got home the next day, their parents were sleeping and the boys were out of sight. Milo then quickly wakes up his parents and Amanda’s.
“Where are the boys?” Milo asked the parents. “They’re in bed…” Martin tells his son while wrapping his eyes, trying to stay awake. Milo then checks all three of their rooms and doesn’t see the three five year olds anywhere. “Mandy, Sweetheart… the boys aren’t in their rooms.” Milo says to Amanda, hoping she won’t freak out. Amanda then calmly gives her mother Monica and passes out in a chair.
“Don’t worry, I’ll drive around the block to look for them.” Amanda’s dad says before he goes to look for his car keys, only to realize they’re not in his pocket. “Where are my keys?!” Mr. Lopez shouts out loud. Meanwhile the triplets were slowly driving their maternal grandparents’ car. “Marshall, just turn us around!” Lucas whines as Marshall holds on the wheel.
“No! They’ll be too busy with the new baby to play with us!” Marshall protested while Alejandro was on the floor of the car. “I want mommy and daddy!” He cried out loud. “Don’t worry, Al! We’ll go back after our adventure!” Marshall assures his crying brother. Before they could get any further, Milo, Martin and Amanda’s father quickly stop them. There was no doubt the boys were in a lot of trouble that day.
Amanda had just triple checked the boys’ rooms to make sure they were all there when Milo walked up to her with a sleeping Monica in his arms. “You okay?” Milo asked Amanda before the two go sit down. “The boys could’ve gotten hurt today Milo! All because they thought their sister was going to replace them…” Amanda says, trying not to cry. Milo just holds her, carefully to not hurt the baby.
“Amanda, I assure you our family is going to be okay.” She hears him whisper before she takes Monica from him. She then says “I know it will be, I just hope this little cutie doesn’t act too much like her brothers.” While hugging Monica.
Seven years later, Monica learned to ride a two wheeled bike on her birthday and was now testing it out. On the roof! While Lucas and Alejandro shouted things like “Don’t worry Monica! We’re gonna get you down!” and “Monica! Please don’t fall!” Marshall shouted “You’re doing great sis! Pop a wheelie!” while recording her with his phone.
After they got Monica down, Amanda just hugged her for ten minutes straight. “Mommy, I’m okay really!” Monica assured her mother. “How did you even get up there in the first place?” Milo asked his daughter. “The ladder! I climbed it all by myself!” Monica says, clearly proud of herself for doing this. Amanda just signs with exhaustion and goes into the house to eat some leftover ice cream and cake.
“You okay?” Milo asked as Amanda ate her plate of ice cream and cake. “I’ll be fine… Our kids are a handful.” Amanda sighs which causes Milo to chuckle. Amanda then follows up with “But I wouldn’t have it any other way,” before Milo kisses her on the cheek.

For the "Give me a character" thing, how about a classic and say Rayman? If i am allowed to suggest two, let's just add Ly into the mix as well.
2 for the price of one, let’s go
Tumblr media
Rayman
How I feel about this character
A lot of fondness. He’s a super kind character, a goof and I just love the universe he’s dwelling in. Plus he’s a prominent figure in my childhood, like Mario or Sonic are to some.Honestly, what do you want more from me people ?
All the people I ship romantically with this character
Ly 4ever like the normie I am. Tbh tho, I’m ok with many Ray ships....Most of the time ( look ship what you want but don’t ever ask me about Rayman x any Nymphs thanks )
My non-romantic OTP for this character
Globox duh. Though honestly I just loved the bro vibes he had with Clark (I love that big dumb ok ??)
My unpopular opinion about this character
He was kind of OOC in Rayman 3 ?He called Globox a coward when in the precedent game he told him it was ok to be scared ? What happened to you bro ? Why are you so pissed anyway ? TALK TO US.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
Eeeh....I’m on an indecision. I’d love to see more character growth out of him, yet I do want him to still be a lovable adventurous nap loving goof and not be too extremely serious ?Mmyeah, I probably, like many, wanna see another Rayman 2, just with a little more oomph to it.Which can be a hard balance to achieve, that I’m aware. I mean, if you’re not careful you can end up with a Jak II (which wasn’t a bad game but the character evolved to the point of being to entire different people)
Ly
How I feel about this character
I’m not even sure why I love her so much. I mean she’s certainly the most active bg character in the games. She goes in great length to help you, depending the version of the 2nd game, trying to reason with guardians (which she achieve only with one but thanks for the effort), giving you power when ever she can and info.In a way she felt less distant than Betilla in the very first game. Maybe that’s why ?
All the people I ship romantically with this character
Well in relation with above, my main ship with her is with Rayman of course. Though she makes a lovely couple with Betina too.
My non-romantic OTP for this character
I headcanon Ly being a friend to Uglette (big sis figure) and of course, close to Tily. I also feel in my guts she’s like family to the teensies in general.
My unpopular opinion about this character
She’s not as serious as people try to make us think.  “Too serious for the adventure [in R3]” my BUTT. We’re talking about a lady who’s capable to go racing with you. Who juggles in her spare time. And who proposes you mini-games when you’re in the middle of a war. How that's serious ???You’re just cowards Ubisoft. COWARDS.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
COME BAAACK. Else, story wise, I’d love to see her face Mr Dark. Idk, I have the feeling she would fuck him up.

Super Smash Bros: Nexis- The Fighters (Warning-Long as Hell)

So, because of the usual thing that happens when Spyro content gets relevant - as in, shitting on Skylanders with fake rumors and false information - it’s time for me to dig up the good old wall of text to tell you most of the reasoning to hate Skyro is bullshit.
I’m in no way telling you to like Skylanders - high price for small fun, dumbed down for children, gameplay is nothing special, weird artstyle between cartoon and high fantasy, all legitimate reasons! But on Skyro specifically? C’mere, I’ll tell you all about it.
False Information 1 - Spyro was put into Skylanders as a marketing ploy.
Boi. It’s a really easy way to drive people mad. It happened to Rayman, Starfox and so many other series, so it’s true, right? Nope.
youtube
Spyro was always part of the games, in fact, he was how TFB put themselves on the map years after Star Control was lost to them. To make it short, though they went through many ‘normal’ gimmicks, they eventually settled on a game with “toys with brains” with Spyro as your main quest giver, the literal king of the land - using the name Spyro’s Kingdom from another team’s concept, supposedly.
However, seeing the huge backlash of having Spyro be your boss rather than you in specific, they put him back in the roster, replacing another dragon character and having your mentor instead be Master Eon, which every piece of media goes out of its way to show Spyro is super fond of. It was never marketing or holding onto another IP to be popular(that’s what Guest Stars would later do), it was simply avoiding an even worse situation.
False Information 2 - Skyro is a PS1-era model abomination.
Everyione, I mean EVERYONE, brings up this picture when they talk about this game. It’s horrible, it’s an early version of the game, Activision screwed up by using this as the game’s first impression. And boy did it stick.
Tumblr media
But... He didn’t look like that even in the first game’s final version.
Tumblr media
And as the series progressed, so did his appearance.
Tumblr media
Recently, the TV show that everyone equally hates? He was actually redesigned to be appealing and cute.
Tumblr media
But that’s not easy to hate, that’s not easy to replace what people already hate. So they go for a 7 year+ old picture, and pass that as how he’ll always look.
False Information 3 - Spyro is not a character after Spyro’s Adventure
This one was spread over the whole fear that he wasn’t in the title anymore, which was panic from both sides of the issue. Pretty wrong.
Spyro, Series 1,2,3, can be played in ANY game, and his code is compatible where applicable. Same for his his Legendary and Dark versions.
Spry can be only played in Skylanders: Trap Team onwards. This Mini only existed from this game on, after all.
Spyro is STILL a thing in the plot. While the Skylanders games don’t focus on a main character, he is a major character in several of the books, at least two comic arcs, and now the main character of Skylanders Academy and your guide in several levels of Skylanders: Imaginators. Activision might not care if he’s relevant or not anymore, but the developers and other content creators do.
youtube
So, to end this big wall of text, yeah, you don’t have to like Skylanders, but please don’t shit on it and the kids who have no business in knowing your demands just because the existence of Skyro somehow ruins your day and kicks your dog. He doesn’t; he’s making kids happy and that’s not an affront to your nostalgia, and even if Activison never gets the awesome idea to continue the older series or do a Remastered Trilogy, that doesn’t mean the older games cease to have meaning or are gone forever. They’re still here, aren’t they?

Ay who wants to see a new chapter on a fanfic screenplay I haven't touched in a while? :D
The Many Mini Adventures of Rayman Chibi (Screenplays) - Chapter 2 - RaymanChibi - Rayman (Video Games) [Archive of Our Own]
(P.S., there is also an end-note touching upon where I've been. It talks about why I can't draw Rayman Chibi anymore though, so that's fun (/j), but other than that, happy reading!)

Top 10 N64 Games Not In Top 10s
I’ve scouted several top 10 lists and gathered around 30 games that made people’s top N64 games. Stay with me now. I‘m sure most of you are aware of all of these titles including Mario 64, Goldeneye, and Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Then there’s also the worst of the worst which includes Superman 64 and Quest 64. But what about all the titles in the middle? Shouldn’t they get some recognition? That‘s where my list of mid 10 N64 games comes in! Starting with: 10) San Francisco Rush 2049 You’ve probably played a Rush game on arcades and thought this would just simply be an arcade port... WRONG! This game adds several new game modes, including some that are unconventional to the racing genre such as stunt and battle modes. Its futuristic setting adds unique track designs, which are packed with hidden coins adding an element of exploration also not usually found in racing games. 9) Mario Party 3 With so many Mario Party games, this one happened to fall into the mid-tier zone. But make no mistake; this one is just as fun with friends as any other one. 70 fresh mini games will keep the fun coming for days. What else can I say? It’s a Mario Party, end of story. 8) Rayman 2 If platforming is what you’re into, look no further than Rayman 2! That is, after you’ve looked into Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Donkey... sigh. OK, so it got overshadowed by many other quality platformers on N64 but give this one a chance and you’ll get a lengthy adventure with boss battles and a variety of puzzles to validate this game as a worthy contender. 7) Turok 2 Often criticized for being rough around the edges and a constant fog that hides what’s 3 feet in front of you, there’s actually quite a lot of fun to be had. While I originally was only able to beat the first level, I believe using cheats is really the best way to play this game. Do me a favor and type in “bewareoblivionisathand” in the cheat input, turn on all weapons and infinite ammo, and hop over to any of the 6 gigantic levels and I promise you won’t be disappointed. 6) Rocket: Robot on Wheels A centralized hub, huge world exploration, realistic physics puzzles, plenty of skills and items to find, and mini games are all part of this great gaming package. It’s a shame that this game often goes unnoticed. Did you know this was developed by Sucker Punch? 5) Extreme G2 This sequel to the futuristic bike racing game is faster, harder, features more tracks, new modes and it’s faster. Did I mention faster already? It’s worth saying twice because it’s SO FAST that you can actually break the sound barrier (with cool effect). Sometimes SO FAST that it kind of breaks the game. 4) Blast Corps I‘m quite surprised that there hasn’t really been a game quite like this one, either before or since then. It’s sort of a puzzle game where you get to destroy cities with a variety of vehicles and robots. Nothing can quite describe the joy of leveling a city (don’t worry, they’ve been evacuated). Dozens of hidden levels and bonus goodies will keep you coming back for more 3) Extreme G When the N64 first came out, this was my first game. I kid you not, I bought it even before Mario 64 and I never regretted it. The commercial, which featured the futuristic bikes speeding and blowing each other up through corkscrews and crazy twisting tracks, appealed to my 10 year old brain in ways that made this seem like the coolest game ever made. I still have fun with it today, and I dare anyone try to beat me at it. 2) Yoshi’s Story Why all the hate? Underrated and misunderstood, Yoshi’s Story is actually a superb platformer if you give it a chance. Often criticized for being too easy, I actually found it to be quite a challenge. Don’t just eat any fruit you see and finish a level quick, the real goal is to seek out the 30 melons hidden, a difficult feat right from the start. Oh, you say you beat the game’s 6 levels in one sitting? No problem, go back and you’ll find 18 MORE, all huge and wildly varied. 1) Jet Force Gemini I’m actually quite surprised to not find this game in anyone’s top 10, it would definitely be in mine. Valid complains about its tedious tribal bear rescuing latter half bring it down. But I found that simply using a guide (Something I usually don’t like to do) allows me to continue having fun with it. Fast paced run and gun gameplay makes it seem like a Contra in 3D in space. Don’t let the second half of the game stop you, there’s still many secret levels and cool things to find.

PlayStation Classic games list, release date and pre-order tips
Nintendo has the NES Classic Mini and SNES Classic Mini, and Sony’s not one for being left out in the cold. This December, it’s launching the PlayStation Classic, a miniaturised version of the original Sony PlayStation released in 1994 – the one that started it all for the PlayStation brand.
Preloaded with 20 games and small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, here’s everything you need to know about the PlayStation Classic.
Cut to the chase
What is it? Sony’s own retro system, packing 20 original PlayStation games
When can I play it? December 3 2018 (the 24th anniversary of the original PS1’s release)
What will it include? A miniaturised console with 20 games, two original-style PlayStation 1 controllers, HDMI cable, microUSB-to-USB cable, immense nostalgia
PlayStation Classic price and release date
The PlayStation Classic goes on sale December 3rd, though it’s unclear how many regions it will be available in on that date. It’ll cost $99.99 in the US, £89.99 in the UK and $149.99 in Australia. Read on for how to secure a PlayStation Classic at launch as well as our tips for pre-ordering the throwback console.
PlayStation Classic specs and features
Nearly half the size of the original PlayStation, the PlayStation Classic is a dead-ringer for Sony’s first games console, which first launched back in late 1994.
But whereas the original PlayStation ran on CDs, the PlayStation Classic’s games will run entirely on internal memory. It may look like there’s a CD tray there, but that’s just for show (and it’s about 50% too small anyway).
Likewise, where game saves were once stored on separate Memory Cards that plugged into the front of the PlayStation, the Classic will place all saves on virtual Memory Cards, emulated by the hardware itself.
What aren’t virtual or miniaturised however are the controllers. Other than the USB connections they now use, they’re identically sized to the original PlayStation pads, from the pre-analogue stick era. You’ll get two in the box, letting you enjoy multiplayer titles straight away.
Some other small changes to the hardware include power and AV ports. Audio and video is now carried by the standard HDMI connection, and power over a microUSB port. It’s worth noting that while an HDMI and microUSB-to-USB cable are in the box, it doesn’t include an AC adapter. You’re going to have to pick up your own that accepts 5 V, 1.0 A Type A USB (a wall plug included with your smartphone should be fine), or find enough power from a USB port on the side of your TV.
There are still a few details we don’t know, though. How much memory is onboard, and what processor is being used? How are the games being emulated, and will they be formatted or upscaled in any way to make the most of modern TV resolutions? And what will the interface be for accessing the library of pre-installed games, and will there be a way to add additional titles to the machine at a later date? We’ll update this piece once we have answers to these questions.
PlayStation Classic games list
The PlayStation Classic will come with 20 games pre-installed, all highly-regarded greats from the height of the PS1’s glory.  To keep anticipation mounting, Sony has only revealed five games so far: Tekken 3, Ridge Racer Type 4, Wild Arms, Jumping Flash and the mighty Final Fantasy VII. Here’s a little bit more about each game.
Final Fantasy VII
Considered by many to be one of the greatest JRPGs of all time, it’s certainly the game that popularised the epic, narrative-led adventure series in the west. Set in a dystopian fantasy future, you’ll lead a team of freedom fighters as they take on a dangerous world-sapping corporation, whose experiments put the entire planet in danger. It’s one of the best stories in gaming history, and a must-play.
Tekken 3
The thinking person’s fighting game, Tekken 3 brought a near-perfect recreation of the arcade beat-em-up to home consoles. Players focus on combos and smart defenses rather than histrionic projectiles. Not that the game wasn’t without its flashes of silliness however – you could play a giant panda if you wanted to lay the smackdown that way.
Ridge Racer Type 4
Namco’s Ridge Racer series built its name on its accessible high speed racing, with its corner drifting feature stolen by essentially every arcade-style racing game since. It perfected the art in Ridge Racer Type 4, which added a meaningful progression system and career circuit to the on-the-tarmac action. It’s a height the series has never quite managed to hit again.
Wild Arms
One of the quirkier JRPGs out there (and that’s saying something), Wild Arms takes turn-based combat and a save-the-world story and throws it all into a Wild West-themed settings. Red Dead Redemption 2 this is not, however, with the trappings of Japanese role players firmly at its roots. Definitely worth a look once you’re done with Final Fantasy.
Jumping Flash
Now, this is the very definition of a cult classic. A first-person platforming game that had you jumping high, high, high up above a level as some sort of robotic rabbit thing, it’s the sort of game that’d win high indie acclaim these days, but has been all but forgotten now. A well-deserved resurrection is due, which the PlayStation Classic will deliver.
But that’s just 5 games – what else could we hope to see on the PlayStation Classic? Here are 15 games that we think would make the PlayStation Classic a must-buy.
Metal Gear Solid: a classic that needs no introduction, it invented the stealth genre, and changed the face of gaming forever. It’ll be a crime if this isn’t included.
Tenchu Stealth Assassins: Metal Gear Solid, but with ninjas. ‘Nuff said.
Rayman: PlayStation’s side-scrolling answer to Mario. Beautifully animated for its time, only to be overshadowed by the 3D extravaganza of Mario 64 soon afterwards.
Crash Bandicoot: fast-paced, twitch-heavy mascot platforming.
Gran Turismo: a driving game for petrol heads, it was one of the first racers to take the fetishistic love of cars and turn it into a massive career.
Tomb Raider 2:  a massive, mysterious adventure that mixed gun fights, puzzles and platforming in a wonderful Indiana Jone style. Lara Croft was an icon of the era, and needs to be represented, with the second game arguably her finest 32-bit outing.
Demolition Derby: just great fun this one – it’s not smart, but smashing cars together is simply fun.
Die Hard Trilogy: three games in one – third person shooter, first person shooter and racing game, all styled around the yippe-kay-yay action films.
Resident Evil: the birth of survival horror – bettered by its sequel, but with that getting a full 4K remake, going back to the very roots would be more appropriate here.
Dino Crisis 2: Resident Evil, but with dinosaurs. ‘Nuff said.
Theme Hospital: great, humorous management sim where you build hospitals and wards to save patients from ridiculous, made up diseases.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night: one of the best games ever made, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night mixes tough-as-nails 2D platforming and exploration with some light RPG mechanics. Great level design and excellent combat. A genuine classic.
Silent Hill: if Resident Evil got its scares through B-movie tactics, the similar Silent Hill did so by tapping a David Lynch-esque psychological vein. Even today, it’s still really, really scary.
Vagrant Story: a tactical RPG that was visually ahead of its time. A challenging adventure with a great story, it’s well worth sticking with.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2:  So. Much. Fun. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 had a killer soundtrack and addictive combo based point-scoring skating action that was unlike anything around at the time. It’d be sorely missed if left off the Classic.
PlayStation Classic pre-order deals:
The cheapest prices currently available
Platform: Original Sony PlayStation | Release date: December 3rd 2018 | Games: 20 bundled as standard | Controllers: Two replica wired PlayStation control pads | Model name: SCPH-1000R | Power: USB AC (not included)
If you’re interested in picking up one of these consoles at launch, seriously consider setting up a pre-order deal. The original PlayStation sold more than 100 million units, only beaten to the best-selling spot by its successor the PS2. There will be many people looking to get on the nostalgia train, and the pricing makes this a perfect Christmas gift.
Demand will almost certainly be high, and if the response to the Nintendo retro consoles was anything to go by, could well outstrip supply. Don’t expect to see these on sale this side of Christmas, so if you’ve got your heart set on it, pick-up a pre-order from one of the retailers listed above to avoid disappointment.

If you’re interested in picking up one of these consoles at launch, seriously consider setting up a pre-order deal.
