Stranger Things Zodiac Signs: The OG Party
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mike Wheeler // Aries
Okay so Mike's canon birthday is April 7th, so that makes him an Aries. This doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Aries are excitable. impulsive, and are very open to new experiences. When he first met Eleven he was like "yea let's just have this strange bald kid live in my basement." Like that's a totally normal decision one should make in 30 seconds. Aries are quick to change, and Mike flip flops between things nearly every season. Season 1 & 2 besties with Will and the gang and loves to plays DnD, Season 3 DnD? What's DnD? I want to spend all of my time with my gf and totally forget about my friends and just talk about girls, Season 4 DnD is cool again! Like what the fuck Mike? Aries also gravitate towards the enter of action, and Mike is always their front and center when it comes to stuff with Will and Eleven. He charges head first into it. Mike has a bit of a short fuse, we see this with Nancy and how he is quick to blow up at things only to brush them off quickly after the fact, very Aries. Something else about Mike is that even though he has very close knit friends, he's very self involved. He isn't very empathetic, and has to make the effort to understand how someone else is feeling, or someone else has to tell him for him. Aries are very creative and high spirited, and we see this with Mike when he plays DnD. Like Eddie, he used to be a Dungeon Master, and that creativity comes in handy. Overall, Mike is very Aries
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Will Byers // Aries & Pisces Cusp
This is another canon birthday. Will was born on March 22nd, so although that makes him an Aries too, he is on the cusp with Pisces. This is very evident with his character. Aries & Pisces cusps are headstrong, but they long for peace. Will is very upfront with his wants and needs, whether it's for DnD, spending time with his friends, or wanting Eleven to be honest with Mike, that's Aries. However, Will has gone through a TON of shit, and this kid is tired. He wants to just be a kid without all the bullshit happening to him every year. Aries & Pisces Cusps are also known for their keen intellectual powers, and Will is a very smart kid. He was like 12 years old when he was taken into the Upside Down and managed to survive for 10 days. They are also known for their warmth and sympathy, we see this in season 4 with how he interacts with Mike. He offers him reassurance with Mike's relationship with El, and tells him that he is the heart of the group with his painting (Although Mike is totally not the heart of the group, Dustin is. That whole thing was just Will telling Mike that he is Will's heart, and the boy is too dumb to realize his best friend is in love with him.) Will definitely leans more into the Pisces side than the Aries side, but he also isn't one to stifle his fiery nature.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lucas Sinclair // Gemini
Like Robin, Lucas is a Gemini. This may be a slightly controversial opinion, because I've heard people say he was a Scorpio, or an Aries, or even a Taurus. Nope, Gemini, and this is why. Geminis are very versatile, they like a lot of variety with their interests. Lucas likes to play DnD, basketball, and kick monster ass. Geminis are also known for communication, and we see how good he is at that with his relationship to Max. Lucas often checks in on her and tells her how he's feeling, and wants to talk to her about how she feels as well. Max doesn't always follow along, but that doesn't stop him from trying. He talks Mike through his relationship problems in season 3, and also talks to Will when he notices his friend is upset. He is clear and concise with his language, key attributes for effective communication. Geminis are also known to be persuasive, we see this in season 4 when he tries to sell the idea of him befriending the guys on the basketball team to Mike and Dustin. He tells them how this would benefit the friend group overall as they advance throughout high school. He also persuades Jason and his friends to follow his fake plan to Hopper's cabin, and convinces them to trust him (Gemini's are stereotyped to be two faced, in this case it came in handy for the party). Not only that, he has to be persuasive if he has Erica for a sister, otherwise she'd run all over him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dustin Henderson // Cancer
I'm 99% sure the universal opinion is that Dustin is a Cancer. Dustin is imaginative, kind, emotional, with a shrewd inquisitive mind, all traits of a Cancer. Although he is an amazing friend, he can be quick to frustration and becomes crabby. We see this when his friends don't immediately understand his plans or thought process, and often jumps to an attitude. However, his deep emotional depth overrides the crabbiness. For Cancers, people who make them feel secure will earn their undying loyalty. We see this with Dustin's relationships with both Steve and Eddie. Dustin is loyal to a fault, and he immediately latches on to both of them because they fulfill separate needs within him. Steve helped boost Dustin's confidence and help him come out of his shell, while Eddie helped Dustin realize that it's okay to be yourself and that he should be proud of who he is and his interests. Cancers are very nurturing and caring towards the people they care about, and despite what Will says, Dustin is the heart of the group. He's the glue that holds everyone together. Cancers are also very intuitive, quick problem solvers. Who is the biggest problem solver of the group? Dustin. I don't really know what else to say, Dustin is just a cancer.

Sun through the Houses in Synastry: Part 1 (1H-4H)
The Sun is the brightest planetary body in our galaxy, and in astrology it is the brightest spot in your chart. It is your core self, your ego, your life force, and your deepest, truest, desires. Wherever the Sun is placed in your chart is the area of life that compels you to embody your most authentic, radiant, and unfiltered self. Which means that in synastry, whichever house your Sun falls into in another person’s chart is the area of their life that will bring out this same energy in you during your interactions with them, as well as the area of life that will feel most comfortable and “right” for you within the relationship. The Sun is also what sustains us here on Earth, therefore in a synastry overlay it can show us the area of life/themes that we feel sustain us within the connection.
In Joanna Martine Woolfolk's novel (1982), The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need, she likens the Sun to, "the role you've been given in your grand drama" (p. 3). Well if your natal Sun shows you what your role is in the "grand drama" of your life, then the placement of your Sun in a synastry chart can tell you about the role you're playing in another person's life.
Sun in the 1H -
Someone who has their Sun placed in another person’s first house is bringing their self-expression, vitality, radiance, and authenticity to the other person’s house of self. The 1st house is representative of our instincts, demeanor, and outer behavior, and is quite important as it sets up the rest of our birth chart and is the house in which our energy is filtered through. Having someone else’s planets falling into this house will have a pretty noticeable impact on the house person (as well as the planet person) and will be felt almost immediately. Depending on the planet (as well as aspects being made to that planet), this impact can be positive or negative. *Though of course even “negative” planets/aspects can still have their own benefits, and vice versa.* The Sun, however, is overall a pretty great planet to have in someone else's 1st house. The Sun is your life force, your core identity, and your deepest desires. Whichever house the Sun falls into in synastry is the area of the house person’s life that the Sun person is bringing this bright and burning energy to. The house person will feel the Sun person’s warmth and light being shined on them when they’re together, and the Sun person will feel extra confident and like their truest self when they’re around the house person. This exchange of energy will likely feel mutual, and cause both the house and planet person to feel joyful and self-assured in each other’s presence. The way that the house person naturally carries themselves will bring out the planet person’s more “sun-like” qualities (their brightness, liveliness, and ego), while the house person will feel that who the Sun person is at their very core is aligned with the way the house person exists in the world, with their self-image, and their general attitude towards life. The Sun person will really see themselves in the house person. These two will probably feel quite similar to each other personality-wise (at least on the surface), and will typically get along well. The Sun person nourishes the house person’s self image and self awareness, while the house person nourishes the Sun person’s entire being and their deepest wishes through the way they naturally behave and interact with the world. On the more negative side, this overlay can create feelings of jealousy or competition (coming from either the house or planet person), as the sun is representative of our ego, and one person may feel that the other “out-shines” them.
Sun in the 2H -
Someone who has their Sun placed in another person’s second house is bringing their self-expression, vitality, radiance, and authenticity to second house themes in the other person’s life. The 2nd house represents your quality of life, your sense of security, stability, comfort, values, and resources. With the Sun being here, the Sun person appreciates the things that the house person values in life, and the way the house person lives their life might resonate with the Sun person quite a bit (even if they don't live their own life the same way). Because the Sun can represent sustenance, this overlay can be indicative of the Sun person wanting to help sustain the house person's quality of life, or bring them comfort in some way. The Sun person may even pride themselves in doing this, or just find a lot of joy in it, and it will feel quite natural for them. If the overall theme of the synastry chart (as well as aspects) support it, the Sun person can be quite generous with their money in regards to the house person, though this can go either way and the house person can be the one who enjoys spending money on the planet person (which can also depend on the state of the natal chart, for example if the house person has a lot of Capricorn/2H/etc. placements, they may just naturally feel inclined to provide for others and that could show up as them being the more “giving” one in this overlay). The house person sees the Sun person as someone really valuable, someone who they find comforting and supportive. They’ll feel like they can rely on the Sun person for anything they need, and they’ll see them as a real source of stability (the Sun person also views the house person as being very stable). Just being around the Sun person will make them feel safe and secure. But the house person won’t only view the Sun person as valuable for what they can give to/do for them, they will simply value the Sun person for exactly who they are, as the Sun is your “truest self” (bit of an oversimplification of the Sun, but you get the gist). It is possible that both the house and Sun person can feel quite possessive of each other and there can be some issues regarding jealousy and an inability to “share” the other person (though I do think this would be much more prevalent with planets like Moon, Venus, or Mars in the 2H as opposed to the Sun). I personally really like 2nd house overlays in synastry and think they can be very sweet. There tends to be a lot of focus on finances and material things when discussing matters of the 2nd house (which makes sense, as those things do fall under the 2nd house) but I think it’s important to highlight the other parts of this house as well, specifically in regards to synastry, because there are so many ways to bring someone comfort and security aside from providing them with material items. The planet person (or house person) will just feel inclined to make the other person’s life more comfortable, relaxed, and safe, and they'll do this is in whatever way they can. The Sun person sustains the house person’s quality of life, resources, and their values, while the house person sustains the Sun person’s entire being and their deepest desires by providing them with stability and and valuing them for who they are.
Sun in the 3H -
Someone who has their Sun placed in another person’s third house is bringing their self-expression, vitality, radiance, and authenticity to the other person’s house of communication, learning, mental connections, and sharing thoughts with others. This overlay will provoke the Sun person to share many of their thoughts with the house person and feel eager to communicate with them about anything and everything. There won’t be much hesitation from the Sun person to speak freely to the house person (unless aspects suggest otherwise, and even so the inclination would still be there), and they will enjoy having someone to share their ideas to and connect with on a mental level. The house person will likely enjoy listening to the Sun person’s thought process and opinions, and they'll find the Sun person quite clever and just an all-around fun person to converse with. However, because the Sun is so overwhelmingly bright, (and also representative of one’s ego) the house person may feel that the Sun person dominates conversations or is only interested in talking about themselves or whatever it is that they want to talk about. This is usually unintentional, as being around the house person just brings out the Sun's more lively and talkative side, but it is important for the Sun person to be conscious of this and make sure conversations aren’t one-sided. On the more positive side of things, because the Sun is so bright and warm, having someone else’s Sun fall into your 3rd house can really shine a light on your thoughts and intellect, and the Sun person can make you feel confident and comfortable discussing your own ideas and opinions as well. The Sun person feels that the house person’s thinking and style of communication aligns well with their own identity and self-expression, and they have a real appreciation for the way the house person gets their ideas across. On top of ruling over communication and learning, the 3rd house also represents siblings and neighbors, so having 3rd house synastry (especially Sun in the 3H) can make for a very friendly, or even sibling-like, relationship. (But don’t worry, if you have this overlay in a romantic relationship it doesn’t necessarily mean the relationship will turn platonic, it can just generate a comfy, amiable energy within the relationship where communication comes more naturally). If the overall synastry supports it, you two will really love communicating with each other and will feel comfortable discussing whatever's on your mind. In my opinion, this is a really great house for the Sun to be in synastry as it lends to good communication, which is helpful in any relationship. The Sun person may feel like communication, mental connection, and a sense of comraderie is what nourishes them in this relationship. This overlay will produce an easy going vibe and lots of friendliness towards each other, and there will be a strong sense of familiarity, comfort, and sociability between the two. The Sun person sustains the house person’s way of thinking and communicating, while the house person sustains the Sun person’s entire being and their deepest wishes by providing them with a space to speak their mind and let their thoughts run free.
Sun in the 4H -
Someone who has their Sun placed in another person’s fourth house is bringing their self-expression, vitality, radiance, and authenticity to the other person’s house of home, family, and inner emotions/emotional security. The Sun person will shine a light on these themes in the other person’s life. The Sun person deeply desires (either consciously or unconsciously) to have a deep, sort of familial relationship with the house person. The Sun person feels inclined to protect the house person and nurture their feelings, and they take a lot of pride in this. They might also also seek out emotional support and security from the house person and feel safe confiding in them. Having a caring, family-like connection with the house person will feel quite natural for the Sun person, it'll just "click" for them. But like all water houses (4H, 8H, 12H), the 4th house is sensitive and private, and having another person’s planet/s here can potentially feel invasive or uncomfortable at times. The Sun is one of the better planets to have in someone’s 4th house, because of its vibrance and warmth, but its brightness is also casting a spotlight on some very personal matters which can cause some feelings of unease on the side of the house person. (How the house person will react to this overlay will depend heavily on the condition of their own natal chart, the overall energy of the synastry chart, as well as their own willingness and comfortability within the relationship). If they do react well to the energy, this can be really rewarding as it will allow the relationship to flourish into a much deeper, more intimate one. Who the Sun person is at their very core, and how they display this, has a profound emotional impact on the house person. The Sun is captivating and beaming, which the house person finds quite endearing and easily develops a soft spot for them; even sometimes letting certain behavior slide that they wouldn’t for others. Since the 4th house is an angular house, anything falling into or aspecting it will be felt quite intensely by the house person, and it is likely that they will be very sensitive to the Sun person’s words, actions, and very being. The house person feels comfortable around the Sun person and may become emotionally attached to them, always wanting their sweet, sunny companion by their side. They might even feel like they aren’t able to find emotional security or fulfillment without the Sun person, though this definitely can be, and often is, felt by the Sun person as well. The Sun person can change the house person’s concept of family entirely, and also sort of “lead the way” when it comes to matters of domesticity. Within the relationship, both the Sun and house person feel nourished by the deep, emotional bond they share. The Sun person sustains the house person’s emotional security and sense of home and family, while the house person sustains the Sun person’s entire sense of being and their deepest wishes through the profound, nurturing bond they have. These two feel like home to each other and this relationship typically has a very soft, nurturing, and tender feel to it.

He gets bi-weekly pedicures. And not the basic kind - the full on 1.5 hour long with the massage and the mask and the exfoliation.
His favorite holiday is Halloween. He plans his costume starting in August.
He'd be the type of person to be walking through a mall, see a Claire's, and spontaneously decide to get his ears pierced idk.
Is really into metal. Like, you'll come home and Metallica will be blasting and you walk into the bedroom and he's folding laundry and just like, "Oh, HELLO, Darling!" but will have to scream it over the volume in which he's listening to music
Will truly take an hour picking out the perfect wine to pair with your dinner...he's definitely a wine snob.
The cheapest article of clothing Astarion owns is from Banana Republic and it's an undershirt...everything else is ~*very fancy*~
Loves watching all types of vampire movies/TV shows. He can often be heard saying, "Oh no, they got that all wrong" under his breath.
He definitely reads like 1-2 books a week. He's recently really gotten in spicy smut books (he definitely got recommendations from BookTok).
For sure falls asleep to ASMR videos.
Gale
Tumblr media
This man loves HGTV *queue Home Depot commercial music*
Has the most absolutely beautiful, clean home you've ever seen with about 30 bookcases CRAMMED with books. The books are the only disorganized thing in his home because he constantly is reading them, so alphabetizing them is useless.
Pinterest is his most used phone app. His boards are carefully curated. That man has a recipe/inspiration pic/quote for EVERYTHING.
Definitely volunteers at the animal shelter once a month. Often times has to talk himself out of bringing a cat home.
LUSH is his favorite store at the mall. He loves them bath bombs.
He THROWS DOWN at holiday parties...Christmas? Thanksgiving? The table is SET. The decorations are UP. He's wearing an APRON because he's been cooking ALL day. The playlist is PERFECT.
Speaking of holidays, he has matching pajama sets for everyone in the household. For every. Holiday.
Fall is absolutely his favorite season. "Sweetheart...have you ever watched 'When Harry Met Sally'? Perfect autumn movie...also I bought a new scarf today to go with my new peacoat. And mittens. And a new hat...it's getting cold outside."
He definitely has a Live. Laugh. Love. adjacent sign somewhere in his home
He definitely needs glasses to read. And he for sure has those librarian chains so that he can just take them off and they hang, instead of losing them.
Karlach
Tumblr media
Absolutely loves to eat meals watching Youtube videos.
Imagine her in Times Square? She tears the M&M's store UP.
Is obsessed with documentaries. She often says things like "I can't believe there's so much stuff to LEARN out there!"
Definitely has a Squishmallow collection. And she rotates which one she sleeps with every night so they all get a chance.
Is absolutely the worst cook of all time but tries really really hard...however, she can make a mean boxed mac n' cheese.
Has an obsession with sugary cereal. There's always Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Fruity Pebbles in her cabinets.
Certified Switie for SURE.
Is really into astrology. Definitely has said, "Oh, you're just saying that because you're a SCORPIO" or the like many, many times.
Absolute Starbucks addiction (venti iced caramel macchiato, extra caramel).
Has monthly "girl's nights" (but everyone is invited) at her place. The rules are: pajamas only, junk food, romcoms, and a playlist of the best pop songs in the past 20 years.

How'd y'all like it...should I make a part two with other companions?! Remember my inbox is open and I'm accepting requests!! I'd love to write some stuff so send it in!

Embodying for Manifestation and Confidence Pt. 1
A little disclaimer again... I am in no way a professional astrology reader however I do my research and take into account my personal experience and observation... so some things may vary for others, but I hope a part of this post can also help you. To begin I want to highlight that this is focused more on our physical appearance... I will probably get into further sections over time...
We'll get into two things: Ascendant and Venus Sign As individuals, our sun, moon, and specific planets will give us our own personal fingerprint which at the end of it all will definitely be unique and different from others' experiences. So simply having the same sun or moon or rising sign will not be duplicated by others. But I want to touch more into the Ascendant and Venus sign.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Ascendant sign (Rising Sign) is the expression to which we have become an independent existence in this world. It is also the behaviors and characteristics that enable us to cope with unfamiliar territory.
It is responsible for our self-awareness, identity, and our self-sufficiency. Furthermore, it reciprocates our goals, objectives, personal philosophy, mannerisms, physical appearance, etc. And our Ascendant is how we PROJECT ourselves to the world.
The Venus Sign is what we are attracted to in all senses. It rules... our nature of LOVE and LOVING... Our Venus sign shows us what we desire personally. It is our aesthetic. Our ALLURE. Our natural affection and beauty. At the same time, it reflects what we give importance to and how we take care of and prioritize ourselves. I believe that how we love others by nature-- is also a reflection of how we love ourselves.
HOW I USE THE ASCENDANT AND VENUS SIGN
We should understand that manifestations come at a different pace for each one of us. But the more comfortable you are and trusting with the universe, the easier you manifest. This is relational to what we want and who we want to be...
Wear materials that you can combine with your Venus and Ascendant... For example, I am a Capricorn Venus and Aries Ascendant. I like wearing Capricorn Venus-esque clothes: clothes that look smart, professional, girl-boss, mature, elegant, and timeless. However, I would choose colors that reflect the nature of my Ascendant... so powerful colors especially and specifically DEEP RED(s).
I apply the same rule to makeup and accessories!
Intuitively, our Venus is not only what we are attracted to but also how we attract things, relationships, and experiences from the universe, and our ascendant boosts our power without compromising our safety and comfort.
The only way we can ever feel confident... is when we understand ourselves and what benefits us without compromising who we truly are.
I want to get into each sign via Ascendant and Venus but that'll be in a separate post. So I'll see you guys on the next reading.

Astrology & Living With The Planets🪐
Tumblr media
What is Astrology?
Have you ever heard someone comment on a certain zodiac? Maybe you've heard people complain about mercury being in retrograde. Both of these comments have to do with astrology. Astrology is the belief that the movement and relative positions of celestial bodies influence our daily lives and the world around us (google).
Astrology has a long and varied history. The form we see today is one of many different styles that have persisted throughout the centuries. Astrology or rather astronomy (the study of celestial objects and phenomena) is believed to be the oldest of the scientific disciplines. Western astrology was used for two distinct purposes, introspection (how celestial bodies affect the individual) and divination (usually for political purposes).
Their Role in Your Destiny:
Not everyone believes in astrology and that's okay. I like to think of astrology as another tool in your toolbox but if it doesn't resonate with you, there are tons of other things out there. Having an understanding of your personal chart can be enlightening for some people. They may feel that they are better able to understand themselves and others using this method as a backbone. As long as tools like this aren't taking over a person’s discernment then they can be fun skills to develop.
There are 12 zodiacs in total and each possesses different characteristics. Depending on which planet and/or house they fall into, their effects will change. According to Joanna Martine Woolfolk "each planet has a specific influence in astrology and governs a certain area of your personality or your approach to life." whereas the houses "represent a specific function of your life" (from The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need). Together, these 3 properties form the basis of you're personal birth chart and are the means by which astrologers predict you're personality traits, compatibility and destiny. Depending on how avidly you choose to study astrology, it can get much more complicated than what I've stated above (just a heads up!).
Beyond the Individual:
If you choose to look up your birth chart online, then you will likely run into another chart. This chart (or sometimes a table called an ephemeris) depicts the current position of the celestial bodies. The study of this chart is called mundane astrology and is traditionally used to predict world events, cultural trends and political movements on a global scale. This area of astrology is also used to forecast monthly and yearly horoscopes.
It is believed that the current motion of celestial bodies influence both our daily lives and the world around us. These observations are what cause people to say "well people are acting like that because mercury is in retrograde right now". What the term "retrograde" is referring to is "the apparent backwards motion of a planet travelling through the zodiac...which in classical astrology was considered weak and a negative influence" (from The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need). A key characteristic of mercury's retrograde is an inability or difficulty to communicate clearly. However, some people attest out-of-character behaviour (like the desire to impulsively cut your hair, drastically change your appearance, etc) to retrograde activity.
Astrology has it's benefits but it should not be used to justify hurtful or malicious behaviour. I, personally, don't really use astrology for anything beyond the individual. This is partly because I'm no expert and partly because I don't utilize astrology in my day-to-day life. I am cautious of people who chalk everything up to how the planets are moving. My advice to anyone who is interested in mundane astrology is; remember that the planets are an influence, not an excuse.

Taurus
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Left: @spiritdaughter Right: Thiago Corrêa
♉︎ I have.
Sun in Taurus: April 20-May 20
Duality: Feminine or self contained and strong through inner reserves
Triplicity/Element: Earth
Quadruplicity/Quality: Fixed
Ruling Planet: Venus
Symbol: The Bull
Body part: Neck and throat
Color: Several places say different things. I'm going to say green.
Tarot: The Hierophant
Archetype: The Sensualist
Taurus is an interesting balance of strong and dependable mixed with luxury and sensuality, which demonstrated perfectly in its tarot card. The Hierophant and Taurus are both constant forces, but are open to creativity and sensitivity. I've always heard Taurus described as being stubborn, but I think it's more that they like their creature comforts. They are down to earth and enjoy peace. Change is very hard for them. The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need puts it best "Like a bull quietly grazing in a pasture, you're not looking to challenge anyone, but it would be a fatal mistake for anyone to challenge you."
For my study I primarily used The Only Astrology Book You’ll Ever Need by Joanna Martine Woolfolk, Witchipedia, and the podcast Accessible Astrology. I used Pinterest to find artwork that spoke to me. I am not an authority on astrology, just sharing my thoughts.

hii honey <33 could i get a
🧜🏻‍♀️mermaid - send me a description of yourself (personality-wise, hobbies, favorite things, physical characteristics, or all of the above, whatever you’re most comfy with!) and i’ll ship you with someone :) pls include gender preference and fandom!!
for either gilmore girls or the dead poets society please? omg im so excited to see who u ship me with!! 🤍 im bisexual/bicurious with a male preference x
my name is eva rose (although u already know that lmao). i'm a ravenclaw and an enfp <33 im a sagittarius in vedic astrology and a capricorn with a libra moon in western
i'm 5''3 with auburn curly hair and a pretty petite hourglass figure. i have freckles pretty much all year round - but only on my cheeks and the tip of my nose. my eyes are blue but look green in certain lighting. ever since i was abt 5 or 6 ive always wanted to get a couple of tattoos but im not old enough yet 😭
i would describe myself as observant, fun, genuine, intuitive and witty. i like to get to know people & ask them questions, im pretty open personally. how much i talk changes massively depending on my mood although i do end up rambling about nothing once i get invested in the conversation lol. i like talking about philosophy and politics and talking about stupid imaginary scenarios with my friends lol
i can be quite anxious & insecure sometimes, but i just need someone to talk to & then i'll be ok. i cry a lot, just because i need to let my emotions out <3 despite all this, i think i'm pretty confident.
i've been described as jo march & lizzie bennett & i agree, but i also think im a bit like meg tbh.
i feel most at home during autumn & during starry nights - i always glance up at the moon & take notice of its phases. <3 i like adventures and old cities - but at the end of the day i prefer being at home. i love art galleries, classic fiction, (fave poet is yeats although i i haven't actually read much poetry lol), astronomy, late night conversations, biking and listening to music - i like the beatles, fleetwood mac, abba, david bowie and the smiths
i love it when a person feels like home to me <3 i'm also a massive hopeless romantic and my love languages are quality time & physical touch
tysm bea :))
hi lovely<33 i ship you with tristan dugray!
he probably has a little nickname for you (and he'll play it off, but whenever you call him 'pretty boy' or something he just melts). he's pretty cheeky so the teasing might get a bit out of hand sometimes. i think he'd be so so interested in talking politics and philosophy with you!! i like to think that tristan's actually really academically smart (and lowkey a ravenclaw like you but chilton screams ravenclaw so maybe im projecting here), he just doesn't use his potential. but i think you could give him a little nudge in the right direction- the art gallery dates and the fact that he's constantly looking over your shoulder at your books helps.
tristan loves making out. like i cannot express enough how much he adores it. so the physical touch love language plays out really well- i think he struggles a bit more with quality time cause he uses a sort of mischevious persona some of the time to hide his genuine qualities. but you'd probably develop some banter, you'd ask him questions and he'd answer (whether he's a good liar or not is up to you), and thats how you'd grow close. he'd also carry your poetry books everywhere and he'd be really sad if your moon phases didnt fit together (like the tiktok trend lmao).
also just the entirety of gilmore girls is so autumn so right away, assuming you lived in stars hollow, tristan would pretend to hate all the autumn events but he'd secretly love them (he probably got lots of attention from ms patty).
idk if you'll like this or not but i genuinely think tristan's a good guy, albeit one with bad boundaries (but he's also like really rich so it kinda makes sense). i really wish rory had gotten a chance to date him in the show tbh, he had so much potential.

Runesmith magic explanation please👉👈
How much stronger and cooler than necromancy is it?
Finally some Runesmith appreciation!
Runes are considered one of the first ever magic, so it's that old. It's a magic most often used by the goddess of Magic herself, more than her other magic in her arsenal. Blessed Magic turned Learnt, due to how many books have been written about over the centuries and Despoina not as willing on giving out her Blessing to mortals anymore. Though there are a still a few who are Blessed by her. Users of this magic are mostly Learnt types.
Rune Smithing is also a very strict discipline, since the way the runes can be and are written can have very different effects from what is intended of the Magus. So Runesmiths are taught to have very precise writing to avoid accidents, or worse.
If Necromancy is more of a passive sort of magic, Runesmith magic is more versatile and very flexible on where the rune can be written on (in the air, on paper, skin (like a tattoo) etc,.). It's almost always applied to every other magic that includes: summoning, alchemy, artificiery, exorcism, elemental magic, clerical healing, druidic healing, druid magic, astrology, infernal magic, and dreamwalker magic (to a degree).
Because of this, there are a lot of subtypes under this magic. Though for the sake of brevity, I'll be sharing the ones MC will be learning if this were to be added to the IF.
Enchantment
Not the charming kind of enchantment. It's the Weapon to Weapon +1 kind of enchantment
One of the most useful subtypes
Usually used on weapons or objects to make them more powerful or versatile, however it can be applied to the self and other people too.
Can be temporary or permanent
You can gain elemental magic this way, by writing the elemental rune you want to use on your arms, hands, legs, and chest, or on weapon or object of choice. Magi who use Enchantment this way are titled "Copycats" or "Chameleons"
Artificers are usually the ones who use this as a subdiscipline in their magic
Abjuration
Defensive magic
Very powerful depending on the amount of runes used
Protection charms can be made under this subtype
You can make protection charms for anything but against the gods
You have to be very specific on who or what you want to be protected against when writing the charm
You can make a very powerful forcefield, if you're willing to put in the effort
Usually needs an incantation, if you were to make a forcefield
This also includes banishing/exorcism. This affects all beings, though for a god it'll only last for a few minutes before they'll come back.
Necromancers usually use this subtype against spirits and hidden entities
Planerider (or Bamf-ing, according to younger Magi)
Only a few manage to master this due to needing to write in a different language you can never understand
A beloved subtype of Despoina, due to easily being able to go from realm to realm without needing to look for a portal or ask a being from another realm to take you there
You're gonna do a whole lot of studying for this, because you'll need to memorize the exact words and phrasing for the runes
Extremely long runes that needs a lot of time to write, unless you're a quick writer with clean handwriting
Can be written down beforehand and activated, however. Planeriders usually do this for convenience, and for less carpal tunnel

Astro Intro
Disclaimer:
I am not a professional astrologer
I am self-studied. I have been researching astrology since 2019.
The HP Astro series is a passion project. It is meant to be fun, not be taken seriously.
I am not here to convince you of astrology's legitimacy.
Astrology is an ancient, complex study. There is a lot of history and a lot of meaning to any one piece to the astrological puzzle.
With that in mind, one placement (i.e. Taurus Sun) can be read multiple ways. You may see characters with matching placements described differently. That is why.
The Harry Potter characters are fictional characters. With real people, we want as much accuracy in the birth information as possible. With fictional characters, this is not possible.
I will use what canonical information there is for each character. (Birth date, time, and place.) Where that is missing, I will fill in the blanks; but I will fill in the blanks using what I know of the character, to try to be as true to them as possible.
Again: because this is fiction, and meant to be fun, I will probably explore headcanons and fanon interpretations as I see fit. My greater focus will be on canonical evidence, but will fall back on popular conjecture where it fits.
I am not here to teach you astrology. I will try to make it as clear as possible, but there is truly too much there. Even a basic grasp of astrology will take a lot of study.
If you want to learn more about astrology, a good starting point is The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need, by Joanna Martine Woolfolk. It is not, in fact, the only book you'll need, but it is a good place to start.
Astrology Basics:
Big Three: Sun, Moon, & Rising (aka Ascendant.) Arguably the most important placements in any chart. If you're a beginner, focusing on people's Big Three is a good starting point for study.
Rising (Ascendant): not a "planet", but an important point in any chart. It tells us how people see us, and how we react to our environment.
Chart Ruler: the sign that's rising, the planet that rules that sign becomes the chart ruler. The chart ruler is a prominent planet in a chart; it is good to pay extra attention to the chart ruler and what it tells us.
Luminaries: the Sun and Moon. The Sun is our core, the Moon is our subconscious.
Inner planets: Mercury, Venus, Mars. (Also called "personal planets", due to their nearness to the Sun, and the being closer to who we are.)
Outer planets: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto. (The latter 3 also called "generational planets." The distance from the Sun implies less impact on the individual self.)
Chiron: an asteroid planet, given more study by astrologers in recent years. I won't always look at Chiron, but I'll always check if the Chiron placement is worth mentioning.
In my work: I will focus on the Big Three, the chart ruler, and the inner planets. Any other chart placements will only be mentioned if I find them worth noting.
Planets: what is being expressed. (i.e. Mercury: communication, Venus: relationships.)
Signs: how it is being expressed (i.e. Leo: playful, Virgo: practical.)
Houses: where it is being expressed (i.e. 4th House: Home, 6th House: Health.)
Aspects: relationship between the planets. (Ease, or stress?)
Domicile/detriment: planet in a sign it works well with, or doesn't.
This is all very basic and simplistic. Any one thing I talk about will not be the whole story, or full potential, of what that placement could be. Take everything I say with a grain of salt. My word is not gospel.
Notes:
I hope reading this will be entertaining for you.
Even better if it sparks your own interest in learning astrology!
I don't expect you to "buy into" astrology, but I do ask you to be respectful and kind.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. I can't promise I'll be able to help you, but I can always try!
If you have any requests, feel free to send them in. I won't promise to fill requests, but I do promise to consider them!
This series is primarily me having fun. I hope you can have fun with me!

Sun through the Houses in Synastry: Part 2 (5H-8H)
The Sun is the brightest planetary body in our galaxy, and in astrology it is the brightest spot in your chart. It is your core self, your ego, your life force, and your deepest, truest, desires. Wherever the Sun is placed in your chart is the area of life that compels you to embody your most authentic, radiant, and unfiltered self. Which means that in synastry, whichever house your Sun falls into in another person’s chart is the area of their life that will bring out this same energy in you during your interactions with them, as well as the area of life that will feel most comfortable and “right” for you within the relationship. The Sun is what sustains us here on Earth, therefore in a synastry overlay it can show us the area of life/themes that we feel sustain us within the connection.
Sun in the 5H -
Someone who has their Sun placed in another person’s fifth house is bringing their self-expression, vitality, radiance, and authenticity to the other person’s house of joy, creative self-expression, children, and pleasure. This area of the house person’s life elicits liveliness in the Sun person, causing them to shine their light on 5th house themes and be extra spirited and genuine when operating within the realm of this house. Within the relationship, the Sun person thrives the most during moments of relaxation and recreation, feeling the most like themselves when they're just having fun with the house person. The house person’s idea of fun and way of experiencing joy aligns with the Sun person’s truest self and wishes, while the Sun person brings the house person a great deal of happiness and ease, and stimulates their inner child when they’re together. When someone else has their planet/s falling into your 5th house, especially a planet as warm and bright as the Sun, it can evoke feelings of pure joy and exhilaration in you. You enjoy having them around quite a bit as they always seem to be able to add an air of levity to even the most somber moments. The 5th house is also representative of romance, so strong emphasis on this house in synastry can indicate being quite infatuated with one another and can create a very “lovey-dovey” relationship between the two. With Sun in the 5th house specifically, the house person is infatuated with who the Sun person is and the way they express themselves, while the Sun person’s infatuation lies in the house person’s charm, humor, and flair for entertainment. Having your Sun placed in someone’s 5th house can indicate that your role in their life is to present them with new romantic experiences, or even to be their romantic partner (only if the overall synastry supports it though, as 5th house synastry alone is more like puppy-love as opposed to fully committed partnership). However if this is a strictly platonic relationship, then the Sun person’s role in your life may be to have fun with you, to stimulate your inner child, inspire you creatively, and keep you in high spirits. In this relationship, the Sun person sustains the house person’s joy, creativity, and pleasure, while the house person sustains the Sun person’s deepest desires and innermost self by adding levity, amusement, and (potentially romantic) thrill to their life.
Sun in the 6H -
Someone who has their Sun placed in another person’s sixth house is bringing their self-expression, vitality, radiance, and authenticity to the other person’s house of daily life, health/wellbeing, and caretaking. Themes of the sixth house that are often highlighted are habits, routines, productivity, and work ethic, and while those topics are vital to the 6th house I’ve found that when experiencing 6H synastry (especially in closer, more intimate relationships) the caretaking aspect of this house tends to slightly overshadow the other themes. Your 6th house can tell you about the ways in which you take care of yourself and others, and 6th house synastry can create a very helpful and caring relationship between the people involved. The house person provokes feelings of responsibility and concern in the Sun person, causing them to want to be of service to the house person in whatever way they can. To the Sun person, being of service to the house person just feels right, and they find a lot of enjoyment and satisfaction in it. Within the relationship, the Sun person thrives and feels quite confident when maneuvering through themes of this house. Taking care of the house person and all of their needs gives the Sun a strong sense of purpose and can even be a point of pride for them. The Sun person may also wish to be a big part of the house person’s life, even wanting to join in on their daily routines in whatever way possible. There’s a good chance this feeling is reciprocated, as the Sun’s brightness and warmth adds a cheery, joyful energy to the house person’s everyday life which they'll likely notice and appreciate. There's a vested interest coming from the Sun person in regard to the way the house person goes about their day-to-day life; when the Sun asks about the house person’s day, they genuinely want to hear all about it. The Sun person is also shining a light on other, more practical/conscientious matters of the 6th house, potentially encouraging or inspiring the house person to take better care of themselves or to become more productive in their daily life. The house person enjoys all that the Sun person does for them and likes the way the Sun person looks after them, as it makes them feel safe, protected, and greatly supported. They’ll feel like this area of their life is where the Sun person shines the most and surpasses all others. Here the role of the Sun person can be that of a caregiver, someone who helps fulfill the needs of the house person and is of service to them. Their role can also be to encourage self-discipline and better work ethic within the house person or to inspire some kind of self-improvement in them. The Sun person sustains the house person’s needs, daily life, and overall sense of wellbeing, while the house person sustains the Sun person’s deepest desires and innermost self by making them feel helpful and needed, and giving them a sense of responsibility and purpose.
Sun in the 7H -
Someone who has their Sun placed in another person’s seventh house is bringing their self-expression, vitality, radiance, and authenticity to the other person’s house of commitment, partnership, and cooperation. Here, the Sun person is shining a spotlight on these themes in the house person’s life, and the house person is providing the Sun with a space to further explore these themes within their own life. The Sun person feels like the relationship they have with the house person brings out their most exuberant, wholehearted self. Their interactions with the house person allow them to embody a more genuine and real part of themselves. The Sun person may sort of lead the relationship or interactions in some way, as the Sun is very bright and can be overpowering. The house person may or may not respond well to this, depending on their own natal chart as well as the overall synastry and type of relationship this is. Though because the Sun does represent one's ego, the house person can feel like the Sun person doesn't give them much room to shine, or that they view the house person as their own personal "audience" rather than a friend/partner. (Of course this will depend on not only the synastry and natal charts of the individuals, but also their willingness to sympathize with each other, communicate, and change any potentially hurtful behavior). Sun feels like they can discover more about themselves through this relationship, and they also feel like the relationship has the ability to satisfy their deepest heart's desires. As with most 7th house overlays in synastry, there’s a strong sense of familiarity with this placement, where the house person recognizes traits in the Sun person that, deep down, they too possess but (usually) have not quite yet grown into. The Sun person can encourage or inspire the house person to learn to balance these qualities in themselves, which in turn will help the house person grow into their truest self. The house person feels like the Sun person can fulfill their need for companionship and commitment. They feel like the Sun person shines brighter than anyone else in this area of their life, making this a great overlay to have with a best friend or a romantic partner. The house person can feel inspired by the Sun person to express themselves more enthusiastically and authentically when interacting with others. The Sun person’s role in the house person’s life can be to provide them with a significant, committed relationship, or to motivate them to tap into their 7th house energy and relate to others in a more outgoing, confident way. The Sun person sustains the house person’s need for partnership, commitment, and interaction, while the house person sustains the Sun person’s deepest desires and innermost self through the relationship and interactions they share.
Sun in the 8H -
Someone who has their Sun placed in another person’s eighth house is bringing their self-expression, vitality, radiance, and authenticity to the other person’s house of death, rebirth, transformation, and shared resources. The 8th house also relates to our reliance on others, or lack thereof, and prominent 8th house synastry can produce a slightly codependent relationship where one or both individuals feel like they cannot live without the other. On the other hand, 8th house synastry can create a relationship where one or both people feel uncomfortable with the idea of relying so heavily on another person, which may cause strife in the connection and prevent the two from exploring the deeper, more intimate bond they’re capable of developing. The way these two will react to this synastry lies in the overall synastry chart, the respective natal charts, as well as the willingness from both people to be open and vulnerable with each other. The 8th house is a very intimate and private house, and having another person's planets here can potentially be an uncomfortable experience for the house person, especially if they have prominent planets in their 8th house natally. Those with 8th house placements/an afflicted 8th house can be very used to their own independence and self-reliance, as they usually don’t feel safe depending on others. So when someone brings their planets here and promises them the emotional, physical, and spiritual support they so desperately need, they can feel reluctant to accept, fearing some kind of abandonment or betrayal. Here, the Sun is casting a spotlight on matters that the house person would likely rather keep hidden, but if the house person lets the Sun person in, this can benefit them greatly. The Sun person is bringing a warm and bright energy to this dark, lonely, and mysterious house, which is an interesting juxtaposition. Within the relationship, Sun may approach matters of this house with a joyful, candid energy, which can work to balance out all the doom and gloom that usually surrounds the 8th house. The house person feels like the Sun person shines more brightly within this area of their life than any other, and they may prefer to open up to the Sun person over anyone else. Having the bright, lively Sun here, as opposed to the emotional moon or fiery mars, can be quite good as it brings a light, and even almost playful energy to this house, which it could definitely use. This area of the house person’s life compels the Sun person to embody their most sincere self. The Sun person will find that operating within the realm of this person’s 8th house just feels right, and they’ll typically be quite comfortable delving into deeper, darker, and more profound subjects with this person. They feel like they can fulfill their deepest wishes through an intimate bond shared with the house person. The Sun person’s role in the house person’s life may be to form a profound and intimate connection with them, as well as to encourage or inspire them to display more vulnerability and learn to rely on others. The Sun person sustains the house person’s sense of interdependence and vulnerability, while the house person sustains the Sun person’s deepest desires and innermost self by providing them with the depth and intimacy they need.

LIBRA & GEMINI Relationship ♎ 💕 ♊
Pleasure-loving Libra and high-spirited Gemini are an ideal mating. Both are curious, vivacious, and affectionate. For them, love is a carousel that never stops. True, the fun and games are more frolicsome than deeply passionate, but these two don’t care as long as they’re having fun. No jealousy or possessiveness will spoil their good times. Both tend to be quite indecisive, so there will be lots of discussion but not a lot of action. However, both know how to use charm to get other people to do things for them.
