Small Rant: The Sims 2 Pets for Nokia/Mobile

I refuse to play the sims 2 pets 😭. I'm sorry. I'm sure the developers were probably proud of this or something but.... This ain't it chief.

For some reason they use the same tactic as the TS2 Pets for GBA for it's voice files: They use the Sims 1 for the voices. And I think they only have one voice file. There's a reason the other games had no voice. They at least had music. This one does not.

The whole game is silent. The players decapitated face scares me and every second I spend in here makes me feel like I'm going insane. It's so liminal it scares me.

The ONLY premade I encountered is the doctor/vet for the tutorial. He has no name but he's there... For a minute.

Also literally the goals of all these sims 2 pets games are just about training your dog. Why are all sims 2 pets games just that????? Except maybe pets PSP/PS2/Wii. I don't remember pet competitions there. But they are soooooo.... Boring? It's like there was no direction unlike the other games.

You can go to a park but you can just... call your pet, pet him and let him do a trick he can't do.

Am I doing something wrong or why is no version of this game enjoyable to me 😭

Anyways rip TS2 Pets. I don't like you that much in any universe.

It's my 2 year anniversary!

I was going to upload a few Victorian era builds I did but my copy of sims 2 has decided to go bork itself so instead here's a sneak peek at my current major project: Recreating the sims 2 for ps2 neighorhood to sims 3!

My favorite sims game <3 It wont be a 1:1 perfect replica, I'm going to make each lot more detailed and fleshed out, especially because there's a lot of items that the console version has that sims 3 doesnt (but it DOES have the surf machine!)
