the take of "artem is so boring i don't get why people like him" always makes me laugh because like. .. wording aside, that's kinda the point! the appeal?!

he's introduced as this Serious and Cold suit wearing senior attorney of themis, which in most otome would indicate your typical Sexy and Smooth Daddy Dom. like. the first official art we see of him is him sweating and pulling his tie loose. upon global launch, advertisements for tot always included the first evo of his atmospherics ssr out of context.

but the twist is that he's just A Dude. he's respectful and gentle with rosa. he struggles to make friends because he's really socially awkward, takes his work seriously, and has a resting bitch face. he has a film review blog and likes to write fan scripts. his dad wasn't around much and rarely visits. despite appearances, he is deeply empathetic. he's surprisingly idealistic in regards to his work and the impact he wants to make on the city. he grew up not wanting to cause trouble for the adults in his life and as a result has great difficulty acknowledging what he's struggling with and expressing how he feels. he's easily flustered. he has been called out on his bullshit several times by rosa. his father figure is missing and he would do anything to save him. he is earnest in all he does. he is only friends with one person at work and that's celestine, the founder of the law firm and a family friend of his mother's. he's endearing!

despite the prestige and pedestals people place artem on, he is literally just A Dude and i think that's neat

oo i have an art idea if youre still looking for them! erwin and armin playing a board game or erwin mentoring armin like teaching him about strategy stuff. can be called "the commander and the commander" or something haha.

I actually love this topic, and i'm VERY SORRY I'M SO LATE AAA But i love the idea of Erwin teaching strategy and war tactics to Armin and listening to his reasoning and the new visions he's bringing to the table like a proud parent. It keeps me alive so much... I wish we had more moments like these ;v; I'm keeping the board game idea for another day ! I'm sorry though, my Erwins are very ugly... XD

while this is a useless thought, it is annoying to me that i've been studying japanese for two years and not, like, ten or twenty. because it really would have made a lot of sense for me to start learning japanese much, much earlier. like, to take it in high school, instead of spanish, since our school did have japanese classes available. it really would have made so much sense!

why didn't i do that???? i already had acquired interest in medias and hobbies that (especially at the time) there wasn't as much info in english on, like even then i was interested titles and hobbies that didn't have a ton of fandom in english

however, i had not acquired sentience, or something, so i didn't.

("i had not acquired sentience" is my funny way to observe how many times i can look back at my life and go "why did i do/not do that? what was i thinking? actually i remember the answer, i wasn't thinking")

yeah yeah, i know, "the best time to do it was ten years ago, the second best time is now", yeah, i am doing it now, but the 'Was I Not Sentient???' thing also legitimately bothers me because i don't know if i've learned my lesson and Become Sentient yet. what will i at forty years old be looking back at my current self wishing i had Been Sentient enough to think to do???

Okay, so a scene for sabioba in a cheesy romcom that I pulled out of thin air. I was intending to write it in a form of incorrect quotes, but I instead am writing in a theatre-script format. Well, a weird hybrid of the two.

[Background : They're all a part of a field hockey team (no other elaboration than it being my favourite sport), they've just won a match through penalty shootout. Obanai was a substitute in this match as he attained a leg injury previously.]

[The team is all heading out. Obanai is still sitting on the bench.]

Obanai, throwing a bottle of water to sanemi: Here, Shinezaguwa. The whole team continue to walk off but, Sabito, who was at the end of the line, leaned down to Obanai: If I were sweaty and exhausted would you hand me a bottle of water too? Obanai: W-what are you talking about? Take it yourself! Sabito: Mhm, I could but I want you to give it to me. Obanai, now a little annoyed and flustered because Sabito is practically whispering in his ears: Well, you're not going to get it from me. Sabito: Really? I guess I'll have to do my best to usurp it from you.
