Do you have any headcanons about the other parents of the VKs?

Evil Queen used Evie as a servant for most of her life, only stopping when she realized how dirty Evie was getting

Cruella tried to train Carlos with a dog whistle and a spray bottle - but with the water on the Isle being so dirty and likely toxic it caused Carlos to get sick. While Cruella didn't care about that, she didn't want to get sick, so she stopped with the spray bottle, and then with the whistle after finally realizing that he couldn't hear it. (The Isle made her a lot more unstable)

Jafar has tried to arrange marriages for Jay with those on the Isle who might be able to have wealth in Auradon, such as the Evil Step-Granddaughters and the Queen of Hearts daughter, but it never worked out. He's tried multiple times to pair Jay off with Mal.

Gaston takes his boys out "hunting"... make of that what you will.

Gaston also managed to bribe one of the Auradon guards to bring over some chickens and a rooster so each of his boys, and himself, can have five dozen eggs a day.

Hans is actually a pretty decent father. If you ignore the fact that he's taught his kid(s) all his manipulation tactics. That aside, he's also taught them how to read, write, mathmatics, history, etiquet, etc.

Smee loves his kids, but he isn't exactly always there for them. Because of this, Sammy took care of his brothers growing up more than his father did.

Anastasia is a good mom. Along with taking care of her own kids, she takes care of a lot of the orphans on the island. And Dizzy has practically become hers.

On a similar note, Drizella is not a good mother and has A LOT of children, all girls. Some of her girls are as high-strung and rotten as she is, but the younger ones (like Dizzy) have become little "Cinderella's".

Surprisingly, Lady Tremaine tried to stop it, but never succeeded.

Ursula taught Uma all the Greek myths and legends, and would repeatedly tell her that one day they'd get off the island.

While he's an amazing father to Celia, Dr. Facilier wasn't the greatest dad to Freddie and does regret it (even if he won't admit it)

Like Hans, Captain Hook made sure his kids knew how to read and write. He also taught Harriet and Harry how to read maps, create maps, as many constellations as he could remember (many drawn out on paper), swordfighting, and pretty much everything that goes along with being a pirate. (He would have taught CJ, but after his wife's death he pulled away from her - CJ looks the most like the siblings mother)

Mother Gothel treats Ginny like a maid, but isn't the worst parent. The worst she's done is drag on Ginny's appearance to make herself look better (which is bad, but on an island of villains, better than a lot of kids get). Somewhere in her, she might love Ginny, but at the end of the day Mother Gothel is an incredibly selfish woman.

(A similar headcanon that can also be true is that Mother Gothel is actually Ginny's grandmother, and Ginny is Cassandra's daughter only Cassandra willingly let her mother raise Ginny in order to protect her as Cass isn't the most popular on the Isle)

The Huntsman has taught his kids everything he knows and they do animal control - they can't really harm the original hyenas who were thrown on the Isle, but they can take care of the never ones.

Morgana kept having children in hopes that eventually one would transform while under the barrier, but it never happened. Over the course of twenty years, she managed to have 15 children and had to open up her own school.

Edgar lives quietly in his very run down apartment in the square where he and his son run an animal grooming business. With how many "evil animal sidekicks" there are, it goes surprisingly well. He has to leave the room whenever a cat comes in, though, so Eddie does a lot of the word.

Yzma tends to conduct very dangerous experiments in her attempt to do magic.

The Stabbington Brothers have raised their children together, so the Stabbington Cousins are really more like siblings. With that said, the brothers have been determined to raise children who will become better thieves than Flynn Rider, and better fighters than themselves. The fighting has gone good, but the they're never satisfied with the Cousins thievery thanks to Jay always managing to beat them.

My headcanon of a VK hierarchy

(Thank you wikipedia list of Disney Villains. I will be listing canon VK's that apply where necessary)

Rank 1 (Reflections) Kids of the "13 reflections of evil" (the 13 villains that are used most often in Disney's marketing). Often these are gang leaders (or at least high up in the gangs). Messing with any of them is a really, really bad idea. You're going to end up dead, or, if you're lucky, severely wounded.

Evil Queen (Evie) Chernabog Queen of Hearts Captain Hook (Harry, CJ, Harriet) Maleficent (Mal) Cruella de Vil (Carlos) Ursula (Uma) Gaston (Junior, III, Gil) Jafar (Jay) Oogie Boogie Scar Hades (Mal again, Hadie) Dr. Facilier (Freddie, Celia)

While some with strong connections to these villains (such as Diego and Jade) will be elevated higher due to this, they won't be in rank 1. They're more likely to be somewhere in rank 3 or 4.

Rank 2 (Big-name VK's) Kids of villains that might not be part of the reflections of evil, but still have big name recognition. Think of a disney villain, which ones outside of the reflections of evil are likely to come to mind first? Yeah, those are in here.

I truly am not in the position to give more examples in this rank since it really depends on each individual person tbh, but you get what I mean.

Rank 4 (Protected) Sidekicks, family, gang members, kids; if they are under the protection of higher ranked VK's they go here. This is where Jace and Harry Badun, as well as Reza, would fall. Possibly the Smee kids, Diego, and Jade too, but those might be able to make it into rank 3.

Rank 4 might have a hierarchy within itself, but it's not as formal as the actual isle hierarchy. For most if not all kids on the isle, this is the highest rank that one can climb to; anything higher than rank 4 is unachievable.

Rank 5 and lower Honestly, these are harder to be specific about since we don't really have any examples. These kids aren't really VK's. Their parents were sent here for crimes, yes, but they're not villains the same way the above are. Crimes can range anywhere from minor offences to murder. There is likely a rank system between them too (which is why I listed it as rank 5 and lower) depending on the crime the parents committed, but ranks 4 and up don't often bother with them unless they're recruiting (in which case the ones joining go up to rank 4)

Another question, because I forgot, have you noticed that Descendants treats the fathers? I'm currently reading Audrey's diary and Audrey barely mentions her father, Phillip, only her mom and grandma. Same goes for Lonnie, as if they hate their dads or something. And I don't like it.

Most of the characters just straight-up don't have fathers. Most of those who do barely mention their fathers. There are like, three prominent fathers, and one of them is from only the third movie. Here's what I know.

No father- Evie, Carlos, Yzma, Zevon, Uma, Jane, Ally, Carina, Dizzy, Anthony Tremaine, Ginny, Arabella, Jade, Maddy, Opal, Herkie, Big Murph, Tiger Peony, Ariana

Next to nothing about their father- Audrey, Mal, Liang, Susu, Celia, Freddie, Hook kids, Doug, Chad, Claudine, Diego, Harry B, Jace, Yi-min, Jordan

Father but shitty- Ben, Jay

Good father- Anxelin, Aziz, and Ruby (pretty much the only ones referred to as daughter of two parents)

However, research has also concluded that when not weird about fathers, Disney is weird about mothers. Observe-

Out of all of those characters, only four have two consistent parents. If they have a mother, they rarely have a father. If they have a father, they rarely have a mother. What do I get from this?

Disney didn't actually give a damn about this. They used the more prominent character (Maleficent, Grimhilde, Jafar, Mulan) to give their characters a rap and never paid any mind to the other half of the equation. They didn't care enough to actually give these characters backstories. Sacrifice a father so that the mother can give our character a reputation, sacrifice the mother so the father can give our character a reputation, and rely on that reputation to make our characters cause we all know Disney isn't going to flesh out these characters.

I don't like it. Partially because it meant more work for me.

Almost's Parts 1, 2 and 3: I have 2 parts of a Jafar series completed- I just need to finish the last part then I can post it all (But I've been stuck on it for a long time). Its about a reader who is a cousin of the royal family and is sent to Agrabah to live with Jasmine and the Sultan until she finds a suitor. Well, she actually falls in love while she's there, with Jafar! ^^ Not only do they truly enjoy eachother, but he's an excellent choice in her over-bearing families eyes. She thinks its going to work out! She's actually going to get to marry a man she loves. ... But then she is proposed to by a Greek King's bastard son who's about to be legitimised. And Jafar's a great choice, yes,... but he's not about to be King.

Evening Routines Drabbles: Just a set of 4 Drabbles where reader helps their milf S/O with her evening beauty routines (Hair curlers, face masks, baths, hand and nail care, chatting- all that warm domestic stuff). This one features Cruella, the Evil Queen, Lady Tremaine and Madame Medusa. I have to finish the last two, still.

Tensions between Hopeless Lovers High Drabble: Okay so I still do like this idea, its just bound to take an emotional and mental toll so I'm struggling to dig up the energy XD So reader is Gaston's housemaid and they do not really get along... but they have a lotta hate-sex (He needs an outlet, and she doesn't see a future for herself anyway). One night Gaston comes home mad and drunk from a hunting trip, which is not unusual, and she makes him tea (Also not unusual), and... there's a moment. A realising-in-another-life-this-could-really-truly-be-something kind of moment.

Forced Proposals Drabbles: Pretty self explanatory. I only finished Hades' so I might Just clean that one up and post it on its own.

Waking Up from a Love Potion Drabbles: Again, self explanatory. Villains give you a love potion so you'll be with them, and you wake up from it. I only finished Captain Hook and Hades, but who knows- I might still do some of the others. 😕

For the past few years, I have been imagining a story where the Disney Princesses and their respective princes are superheroes. Similar to Once Upon a Time (which I would like to incorporate characters and elements from into my story), I would have this show re-imagine some characters as being related. For example, I have mentioned before how I would like to have a modern Disney crossover cartoon depict Snow White and Cinderella’s respective princes as being brothers with Philip from Sleeping Beauty being their cousin (with Philip also becoming Eric’s cousin). I would also have this hypothetical show go with the popular fan idea of Anna and Elsa being Rapunzel’s cousins (preferably via Ariana and Agnarr, partly because I’d want Iduna’s backstory to be a combination of the backstories OUAT and Frozen II gave her). I would also have the Stabbington Brothers as two of Hans’ brothers (but not Rudi and Runo like most fans believe them to be, as Rudi and Runo are stated to be fraternal twins with Runo being stated to have blonde hair). I would also re-imagine one the the Duke of Wesleton’s bodyguards (specifically Francis, the one without the mustache) as another 1 of Hans’ brothers, specifically the 2nd brother, even though I don’t think them being brothers is the case in Frozen. And if I’m allowed to use characters from Once Upon a Time, you can bet I’m going to have Rumplestiltskin turn out to be the grandfather and/or great-grandfather of several of the main characters (including Adam, aka the Beast from Beauty and the Beast as Rumplestiltskin served as the Beast’s OUAT counterpart). And those are just the “related in the adaptation” ideas I can talk about without spoiling the story. Oh yeah, I’d also have Snow White and Aurora be maternal cousins with their mothers also being the cousins of Anna and Elsa’s mother. I was also thinking of having Adam be Aurora’s adopted older brother.

Anna, upon realizing just how badly Hans’ family treated him when she was visiting the Southern Isles, helped him flee in secret. 

Which allowed him to meet his wife, Drizella, who he went on to have 7 daughters with.

Said Daughters names are; Dorothy, Daphne, Deborah, Delanie, Dixie, Dotty, and Dizzy in that order.

Dorothy’s full name and title is Princess Dorothy Annabel Tremaine-Westergaard of the Southern Isles and she (like Anthony) is 21 by d3. 

Daphne’s full name and title is Princess Daphne Adeline Tremaine-Westergaard of the Southern Isles and she is 20 by d3.

Deborah’s full name and title is Princess Deborah 'Debbie' Abigail Tremaine-Westergaard of the Southern Isles (which she hates) and she is 18 by d3.

She was always afraid of losing her siblings because of when Dorothy almost drowned—which was her first memory.

She also loved music and knew how to play many instruments.

Daphne never knew it, but Shiro was in love with her.

She had been bestfriends with Shiro since they were babies basically.

Daphne and Dorothy got along like cats and dogs. Which is to say not at all.

Debbie was a close friend of the Gaston twins and worked out with them.

She, like her sisters, was into being as beautiful as she could be but also liked sports and weight-lifting. She could out drink the Gaston twins even at 14.

She also liked hiking, biking, fighting, and sleeping. She was also never good at doing things with hair—at all. She was the only Tremaine who couldn't do hair. Something no one ever let her forget.

The one thing Debbie was ever afraid of was spiders. Something her siblings found hilarious.

Delanie and Dixie are twins, and get along like peanut butter and jelly. They are the best at braiding and always helped their cousin, Tega, do hers.

They love sewing, knitting, crochet, floral design, and embroidery but they also have their own separate hobbies.

Delanie collected bugs and solved puzzles while Dixie did scrapbooking and Calligraphy.

They like their siblings work at Curl up and dye but they also run a spa out of their home as a side Hustle.

Delanie is scared of snakes and heights.

Dixie is scared of blood and worms.

Yes, this results in many many mean pranks by those who know about said fear of snakes and worms.

Dotty, like Dizzy, is a sweetheart though she can be a bit mean spirited at times as well.

Dotty makes dresses for her dollies and does their makeup and hair.

She loves playing various games, helping out at Curl up and dye, and climbing on things.

She's afraid of the dark and of the tooth fairy and Santa clause because of a mean prank Dorothy, Cormac, and Iggy played on her when she was very little.

The Stabbington brothers' real names are Runo and Rudi Westergaard. Yes, they're Hans' older brothers.

They are number 7 and 8 respectively.

Rudi is the one People refer to as Patchy and Runo is the one people call Sideburns.

Runo/Sideburns married Lady Caine and Rudi/Patchy married Madame Medusa for some unfathomable reason.

No one knows why. And he never gives a reason when he's asked.

Runo and Caine have 2 kids together—Cormac and Tega in that order.

Though only few people know that those are their names since they go by nicknames all of the time.

Cormac goes by "Brunet" because of the color of his hair and Tega goes by "Braids" because her hair is always braided.

Greeny is responsible and bossy, and a no nonsense type of girl who is a master thief. She was the one—aside from Hans and Lady Caine—who took care of the family horses the most.

Cheekbones is a sarcastic, impulsive, cheeky boy who is slightly narcissistic. He is a prankster who can be a bit mean spirited and Greeny's twin. He is always driving her nuts.

Nosey is a shy, meek, introverted bookworm who likes making things and playing board games. He also likes astrology.

Braids is a multi-talented sweetheart who enjoys cooking, gardening, and taking care of animals. She usually hangs out with Rex, Dotty, Delanie, and Dixie.

Brunet is a nerdy party animal prankster who is easily excitable. Bad decisions is his middle name.

Greeny is scared of her siblings getting hurt or dying on her watch.

Cheekbones is scared of being disfigured.

Nosey is afraid of being noticed by people. He just wants to go through life without getting into trouble.

Lady Caine, on the other hand, steered clear of them both as much as she could because she found them very unpleasant.

Anastasia had four biological kids with the Baker—Anthony, Aaron, Amara, and Anya—before being sent to the isle with them.

She went on to adopt four kids—Ellie, Colombe, Felix, and Francis.

Ironically, four of them became pirates but to different crews.

Anthony (21) joined Harriet's Crew.

Aaron (19) joined Uma's crew.

Amara (16) joined an all girl's crew along with Anya (12).

Lady Tremaine did not like this at all because she says it's a stain on their good family name.

None of the kids care. Their parents don't either.

Anthony is in love with Harriet.

Aaron has no love life and just likes drinking and singing and dancing. Piratey things.

Amara is a fiery redhead like her brothers who fights so much that her mouth is nearly full of Silver teeth. She loves fake magic and is fun loving. Oh and she taught Dizzy a lot of what the little girl knows.

Anya loves gardening and often helps braids fix up her garden. She also loves swimming and reading. Oh and she's an absolute tattle tell who almost always gets the older kids in trouble for swearing.

Anthony is afraid of being disfigured and losing his family.

Aaron is afraid of letting Uma down and of his mom getting hurt. He's also scared of being a familiar.

Amara is afraid of curses but that's about it.

Anya is afraid of King Beast and Maleficent.

The other 4 died.

Runo and Rudi, like the rest of their brothers sans Lars, were horribly abusive towards Hans in their younger years.

They ran away from home at 15 and the longer they were away from the southern isles, the more they realized just how messed up their lives were.

They eventually made up with Hans after running into him when he escaped the southern isles once and for all.

It took time but they managed it eventually, even if Hans was still a bit wary around them.

They encouraged his relationship with Drizella because it made him happy. They soon regretted this when they began living with her and when they got stuck living with her on the isle.

The twins met Medusa and Caine in a bar on the isle and eventually they started dating them.

Unfortunately for Rudi/Patchy, Medusa is just as bad and annoying as Drizella. Especially now that her crocodiles have left her.

Medusa and Drizella have nearly killed their kids several times.

Only to be stopped by Anastasia, The twins, Caine, and Hans every time.

They only stayed together because of the kids because if they left, they'd be homeless and the kids wouldn't be under their protection.

Caine, Patchy, Sideburns, and Hans also work at Curl up and dye but they have side jobs as well.

Like Caine and Sideburns running a bar for instance.

And Patchy running a self-defense course that people have to pay for.

Hans makes weapons.

Patchy fights with Medusa just as often as Hans fights with Drizella. Which is to say almost daily.

Anya looks like her father, the Baker, Jacob Lathyn.

The Tremaine-Westergaard- Stabbington family has several pets.

6 horses and 7 cats.

The cats' names are L, Lord, Liar, Luci, Lu, Lucifer, and Lily.

The horses' names are Sitron, Saturn, Satrina, Axel, Ace, and Arrow.

Also they are distantly related to Nancy Tremaine.

Dizzy and Anthony are the only known human survivors of the Tremaine fire.

The Tremaine fire was caused by a drunken Shan Shiro who was trying to set the barrier on fire.

Dizzy was in her room when the fire started. Anthony was asleep on the couch.

Drizella, Anastasia, Lady Tremaine, and Medusa were all in their rooms when it started. And were fast asleep.

Hans and his two brothers were fast asleep at the table, having fallen asleep while trying to clean up after the party.

The fire happened on Anastasia's birthday. One of the few nights a year where everyone is in the same house as one another.

Delanie and Dixie were asleep in their bed, hair braided and expired face masks on.

Aaron was drunk in his room and singing some old sea shanties.

Anya, Braids, Nosey, and Dotty were all asleep in the corner of Nosey and Braids' rooms after deciding to have an impromptu sleepover that Dizzy wasn't allowed to participate in because she was too little.

Nosey's face was buried in a book, Dotty was drowning in her dolls, and Braids and Anya were snuggling with one of the foals they had managed to sneak in when the adults weren't looking.

Dorothy, Cormac, and Iggy were in the attic, plotting a prank and giggling as they chugged some booze they had snagged from Aaron's stash.

Daphne was listening to music, dozing off while Debbie snored loudly in her bed beside her.

Dizzy was under her bed, fast asleep after crying herself to sleep because of her cousins excluding her from her sleepover.

And finally, Darlina was out in the barn, having fallen asleep while grooming the horses.

Anthony will never forgive Shiro. Never. He refuses to. He hates him for what he's done.

Mainly because Shiro waited four months to tell him he had done it and not Daphne.

Everyone had thought Daphne had started the fire until Shiro admitted he did it.

Anthony has never felt more betrayed than he did in that moment.

Dizzy is the only one who doesn't hate Shiro. Even though she was hurt by what he did just as much as Anthony.

Neither of them have ever been the same since they lost their family.

Anthony stopped cooking after the fire. He actually stopped doing most things.

And Dizzy? Well, let's just say she doesn't do anything that involves fire.. ever.

“Purple,” said one little girl, and Anna handed her a purple toothbrush.

“Green,” said the girl’s brother.

“Welcome to Corona,” Anna replied in Arendellian as she handed them the toothbrushes and little tubes of toothpaste.

“Carrots,” said the boy - man - standing behind them.  Anna didn’t understand.

“Carrots,” he said again, in Arendellian.  He couldn’t be more than a couple years older than Anna, who was 16, but he looked 30.  She didn’t know how to respond to his request since she didn’t have any food to hand out, only toiletries.  The man looked like he had walked all 500 miles from Arendelle to get there, and he probably had.  She couldn’t even begin to imagine the horrors he must have encountered just so he could stand in front of her to ask for carrots.

“I want carrots,” he said again in broken Arendellian as he pointed to the toothbrush.  It suddenly occurred to Anna that the word for the color orange in Northuldran is the same as the word for carrot.  He had a Northuldran accent, but it was hard to pick it up in just two syllables, and he was wearing Arendellian clothing.  “I said carrots.”

“Oh.  Sorry.” She handed him the orange toothbrush and he practically ripped it out of her hand.  He offered her a haughty look as he moved on to the next station.

Anna felt horrible about the scenario.  She hadn’t meant to make him feel bad about how he spoke.  It was clear to Anna that he couldn’t speak Coronan at all, which wasn’t unusual because most of the Arendellians couldn’t.  What was more unusual was that he spoke Arendellian only slightly better.  However harrowing Anna thought the journey to get to Corona from Arendelle was, she now had to quadruple for that boy - man - knowing he came all the way from the Northern Mountains.  Anna guessed that out of the 2,000 or so refugees in the encampment, this man was the only Northuldran. She could easily forgive his rudeness considering the circumstances.

“Ok, let’s get everything shut down for the evening and load up the trucks.  Good work today.”  Agnarr rested his arm on his daughter’s shoulders just briefly and Anna noticed the Northuldran turn his head when she looked in his direction.  She couldn’t be sure if he was looking at her or if it was a coincidence.

After packing up all the boxes and folding the tables so they could be loaded onto the trucks to return the next weekend, Anna glanced once more at the Northuldran guy before climbing into her dad’s car.  He was laying down with his legs outside of the tent, humming an interesting tune that seemed familiar but Anna didn’t think she had heard it before.

He must be exhausted.

“Anna?”

“Coming, Papa.”

She's the youngest of the Westergaard family and the loneliest. Her older siblings and cousins often exclude her and the adults of the Manor are always busy, either working or arguing amongst themselves.

Her siblings and cousins tease her alot, especially for being scared of such things as Santa, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy (despite being the ones to give her those fears in the first place).

So Hannah spends most her time out in the stable with her best friend Sitron(her father's horse) and her friends, Rosie, George and Isa. The four friends are often picked on and bullied for being 'soft' and not being evil.

So, despite excluding her and teasing her, Hallie, Hugo, Rami, Rodney and Riley find themselves defending her from the bullies and protecting her from the rest of the Isle.

Out of her whole family, Hannah's closest relatives are Dizzy (her older sister) and Chloe (her oldest cousin).

Hannah and Dizzy have the smaller age gap of 5 years and spend their time together in Curl up 'n' Die taking care of the shop and playing together when their grandmother isn't looking.

Hannah and Chloe have a more distant relationship with Chloe being in Auradon. The 2 girls send each other letters regularly, every week, and keep each other up to date about the family, both Hannah's side (Hans, Drizella, Rudi/Patchy, Runo/Sideburns, Anastasia, her siblings and their cousins) and Chloe's side (Lars, Charlotte, their 9 other uncles and their tons of cousins).

Chloe's letters are what excites Hannah every week and keep her hoping to get of the Isle.

[ ewan mitchell, cis man, he/him. ] ✧･ﾟ is that [ blade stabbington ] who just stumbled into town? rumour has it that they’re the [ twenty-five ] year old child of [ patchy stabbington ] from [ tangled ]. i’ve also heard that they’re [ playful ] but [ unpredictable ] and have [ one ] sibling. i could almost swear i heard [ final boss - ethan bortnick ] playing when they appeared.

blade was abandoned in the woods by a mother that couldn’t afford to raise him, the baby almost devoured by wolves when the stabbington brothers — newly escaped from prison — happened upon the beasts. easily, they scared off the pack and took the baby; perhaps the child could be used as some sort of pawn or trade piece as there were plenty of people who wanted a baby but could not conceive. however, the short time spent with the baby had them growing attached due to them rethinking about the people they kept close. if they raised the child as one of their own, then it would not have reason to betray them as so many others had done before.

thoroughly decided, they officially adopted blade as their collective son — patchy took main responsibility over the child, however. they taught him how to hunt and fight, enforcing the need to be tougher than the forces that could hurt him or his family. blade loved how he grew up despite some of the hardships that came with it. his ‘dads’ weren’t very affectionate and made him learn his lessons the hard way, but he had freedom and fun. he particularly excelled at fighting, especially with knives. he has a fascination with the weapon and constantly tried to find excuses to push people into starting something with him. unfortunately, a mishap with his adopted ‘sibling’ — another adopted lost child under the main responsibility of sideburns — cost him an eye and earned him an eyepatch.

blade never held the incident against his sibling except when he wanted to guilt them into giving him something he wanted. but, from then on he grew more and more unhinged. there was a thrill that came with being in real danger and he wanted to feel it again. he started to go on reckless missions on his own under the guise of ‘helping the family’. no encounter so far has been challenging enough for him and he longs for a real fight.
