If duck lived to season 4 of the walking dead game what do you think he’d be like?
omg okay I’m gonna make this a more of an analysis (and then if we want hcs I can more than oblige)
So, assuming that Duck lives, I’m gonna go on a whim and say that Katjaa does too (at the very least, she doesn’t die at the same time as him in season 1). If Duck lives then, then I think it’s a fair assumption to say that Katjaa does too.
I think, whether a choice or not, Duck would mature very quickly. My hunch would be that a specific event would probably snap some adulthood into him, similar to how Clem became hardened as the game progresses.
I’d imagine that Katjaa would be a little too soft for the world and would eventually pass away before Kenny or Duck, and maybe that would be the event that hardens him. Either that, or something similar to the Ranch, or even the ranch itself.
I think Duck would become like Mitch: quiet and stoic, but also soft and open with people he trusts. I’d like to think that he and Clementine have a sibling-esque bond and tease each other, especially when it comes to how they want to parent/raise AJ.
I think he would get good at sketching or wood whittling over time, itching for something to do with his hands if they run out of paper or coloring supplies. I also think he would be the one wanting to teach AJ how to shoot a bow-and-arrow and fish, but I also think Duck would be a little easier-going than Clem; slightly less hardened by the world. I think he would still have an inner-child that he lets show more than Clem does.
ANYWAYS maybe I’m totally out on left field right now haha

The Adventures of Ben and Duck
It was a slow afternoon at the motel, and Duck and Ben were getting restless
"Hey, Ben, I'm bored," Duck complained as he flopped down on the couch next to Ben.
"I know, me too," Ben said with a sigh. "But we're stuck here until Kenny and Mark get back from their supply run."
Duck pouted. "I wish we could go on supply runs too. That would be so cool!"
Ben chuckled. "I don't know about cool, but it would definitely be interesting. Maybe we can ask Lee if we can go with them next time."
Duck's face lit up. "Really? You think he'll let us?"
Ben shrugged. "It's worth a shot. Let's go ask him."
The two boys made their way to Lee's room, where he was busy organizing the supplies they had brought back from their last run. They hesitated for a moment before knocking on the door.
"Come in," Lee called out.
"Hey, Lee, can we talk to you for a sec?" Ben asked.
"Sure, what's up?"
Duck spoke up. "We were wondering if we could come on the next supply run with you guys. We're getting really bored here."
Lee looked at them for a moment before answering. "I don't know, guys. It's dangerous out there. I don't want to put you in harm's way."
Ben pleaded with him. "Please, Lee. We won't get in the way, we promise. We just want to help out."
Duck nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, we're good at finding things. We could be like scouts!"
Lee sighed. "Okay, okay. I'll talk to the others and see what they think. But you have to promise to listen to everything I say and not wander off, got it?"
Ben and Duck grinned in excitement. "Got it!"
The rest of the afternoon was spent planning for the next supply run. Lee gave them a crash course in survival skills and taught them how to use a walkie-talkie in case of emergencies. Ben and Duck were thrilled to be included and couldn't wait for the next day to come.
As they were getting ready for bed, Ben turned to Duck with a mischievous grin. "Hey, you know what this means, right?"
"What?" Duck asked, confused.
"We're going to have our own adventure. Finally, people might actually start seeing me as an adult around here," Ben said.
Duck's face lit up with excitement. "Yeah, and we'll be the heroes who save the day!"
The two boys high-fived each other before settling down for the night, dreaming of the adventures that awaited them the next day.

heyy :) i know you’ve done smth similar to this before, but how would you think people like lee/kenny/luke/javi/etc. (feel free to add others if you want) would feel about clem asking lilly to take her and leave the school alone during the delta raid and lilly agreeing to it?
heyy :) i know you’ve done smth similar to this before, but how would you think people like lee/kenny/luke/javi/etc. (feel free to add others if you want) would feel about clem asking lilly to take her and leave the school alone during the delta raid and lilly agreeing to it?
omg I’m such a sucker for stories about Clem’s dads all stepping up to help her. enjoy, my friend!!
Context: let’s say that the characters have learned this as Clem and Lilly are making their way to go the gate, about to leave.
Lee: “Hey.” Lee’s voice came out harsh and cold. His fists were vibrating as he tried to hold himself back. “Where are you two going?” He stopped before Lilly - with her arm draped over Clem’s shoulders - continued to whisk her down the dirt path they were traveling on. “We’re leaving.” Was all she said, plainly. “I was asking Clementine.” Lee spat. His words were venomous. Deep down, out of everyone there, she knew Lee would be the toughest to get past. Lee loved Clementine like she was his own. He wasn’t going to go down without a fight. “Lee”- He cut Lilly off by kneeling and holding Clementine’s shoulders. “You don’t need to do this.” “I have to.” Clem furthered. Lee could hear her voice crack as she spoke. It was all the proof he needed. “You don’t need to do anything you don’t want. You don’t need to go anywhere you don’t want to go.” He glanced up, shooting a glare. She was unfazed. “Please, Clem,” his voice grew quieter and softer over time as if losing his power to debate her. “You don’t need to let her take you.” Clementine could feel her tears welling as she placed a hand on Lee’s arm, squeezing as if finding comfort. Before emotions could progress further, Lilly snagged Clementine’s hand and turned her away. “We need to go.” Clementine’s gaze didn’t leave Lee’s as she wandered away, watching his arms limply fall by his sides as she was whisked away from him. Lilly turned her face, not wanting her to linger on the idea of missing him. Lilly could feel the child’s wet tears on her palms. She closed her eyes and continued, not letting the sorrow get to her.
Kenny: Kenny scoffed, dumbfounded. “Over my fucking dead body.” “Kenny--“ He lifted a finger, stopping Clem from speaking. “I don’t care how you feel,” then turned to Lilly, “or what you think, but Clementine is not leaving.” “We are, Kenny.” Lilly spat. “You can’t stop us.” “Lilly.” Kenny’s voice was hoarse and tense. Lilly stared at him, shooting daggers. She could sense the defeat in his gaze but retained her posture. When Kenny’s gaze shifted back down to Clementine, his expression softened. “Clem, please. Think about what you’re doing here.” “I have.” She responded curtly. It felt almost too fast, as though she was attempting to shut him out to further convince herself. Kenny frowned, taking a half-step back, as though to demonstrate him giving her space. “I respect whatever you decide.” He said, low and quiet. “But I’ll miss you. It’ll kill me not having you around.” Clementine’s eyes finally met his, lifting from the ground. “I don’t know what I’m going to do without you.” Clementine could feel herself starting to crumble. Luckily (or unluckily) for her, Lilly placed a hand on her shoulder and turned her around. “Let’s go,” was all she said. “I love ya, Clem.” She could hear him say under his breath. As she walked away, her back turned to him, she squeezed her eyes closed, trying to force back her silent tears and failing. What was she going to do without him too?
Luke: “Clementine!” Despite the rain, Luke launched himself out of their building, darting after the duo making their way down the dirt-forged trail. He couldn’t let her walk away without trying to talk some sense into her. “Clem!” His voice seemed more hoarse the second time, forcing Clementine to pause and turn around, much to Lilly’s dismay. “You can’t do this,” he wheezed out as he finally approached the two, fumbling his way to a stop. “Please, Lilly, you can’t do this.” “It’s not my decision, it’s hers.” Lilly snapped back. Clementine couldn’t force herself to meet his gaze. She could tell his eyes were fixated on her despite Lilly’s continued banter. “Clem,” his voice was soft. “Don’t do this. You don’t have to.” “I need to.” She spoke lowly, as though she wasn’t entirely sold on the concept herself. “We need you, Clementine.” He hesitated, feeling an overwhelming wave of emotions flood over him. “It’ll kill me with you not here.” Lilly, sensing how the emotional confession was going to sway the child, stepped in. She whisked an arm over Clementine’s shoulders and continued to guide her down their path. “We’d better get started.” Behind them, Clem could hear one final plea. “I’ll really miss you.” She bit the inside of her cheek to stop herself from sobbing.
Javier: The instant he got the news, Javier turned his head to face the front gates of Richmond. Sure enough, there the two were, receiving permission for the doors to be opened. “Shit,” Javier huffed under his breath, launching himself toward the duo. “Clem, please.” Javi pleaded. “I don’t think this is best for you.” “You don’t know what you’re talking about,” Lilly snapped, stepping in. “You all want to make her soft. Soft is dangerous in a world like this one. She needs someone like me if she wants to survive.” Clementine had her lips parted, ready to speak, when Lilly set her away. “Come on. It’s time to go.” “Clem,” he said softly. He reached out, grasping the  “Don’t do this. You don’t need to leave us.” Clem’s gaze lingered on his. She could feel the memories flooding her - all the times they had her back and supported her when they didn’t need to - and here they were, about to separate, potentially forever. A part of her didn’t want to leave. Didn’t want to go. This wasn’t like a family. In this world, it was her family. Just as her tears started to swell, Lilly tugged her away. “We need to get started.” That was all she said. Javier stood, defeated, watching as one of the most crucial members of his family was tugged away. There he was, powerless, unable to do anything.

Girls' Night
It was a quiet evening in the motel, and Carley and Lily were both hauled up in Lily's room, moving furniture out of the area where they planned to have a sleepover. It took a while, but at last, the pair managed to move aside all the furniture to make space for their sleeping bags and blankets.
"Damn, that took a while, but I think it was worth it," Carley said, a smile making it's way on to her face.
"Yeah," Lily replied. "I'm so ready to just relax for a few hours."
As the two women had just sat down, they heard a knock at the door.
"It's open," Lily answered.
The door creaked open to reveal Clementine and Katjaa standing on the other side.
"Hi," Clementine said.
"Clementine wanted to know if she could join you girls," Katjaa added, her arm on the child's back, prodding her to move forward.
"Oh, of course," Lily said, smiling at the child. "We'd love to have a sleepover with you, Clem."
"Yeah," Carley chipped in. "And you too, Katjaa."
"You two are inviting me as well?" Katjaa asked, while Clementine walked inside the room with a smile.
"Damn right, we are," Lily said, Carley nodding by her side.
"I'd love to accept, then," Katjaa replied, a grateful smile on her face.
Clementine sat down next to Carley, who had just started reading a magazine, and began to look around the room.
"I'm having fun," She said.
Katjaa sat atop Lily's bed and smiled at Clementine.
"I'm having fun too. I haven't had a sleepover with anyone for years," she said.
"Me neither," Lily said, grinning.
Carley looked up from her magazine.
"So, what are we in the mood for tonight? Playing games? Ghost stories?"
Clementine's ears perked up at the mention of ghost stories.
"Ooh, that sounds fun. Can we tell ghost stories?" She asked, looking up at Katjaa.
Katjaa laughed. "Sure, we can do that."
As the night went on, everyone took turns telling scary tales, with Katjaa and Clementine getting more frightened with each one, and Carley and Lily having an increasingly good time scaring them.
As it got later, everyone got settled in for the night. As they laid there, they continued to talk and make jokes.
"I'm so glad we did this," Katjaa said, a satisfied sigh leaving her mouth.
"Me, too. It's nice to just let loose and not have to worry about anything," Lily replied.
"It's nice hanging out with you guys," Clementine added, her eyes switching between every other person in the room.
"We like hanging out with you too, Clem," Carley replied, lightly ruffling the child's hair.
Not too much later, sleep started to take over.
"Goodnight, girls," Carley yawned.
"Goodnight," the others replied in unison, yawns and sighs filling the room.
As they drifted off to sleep, the motel room was filled with the sound of gentle breathing and an occasional snore. It was a peaceful moment in an otherwise chaotic world, and they were grateful to have each other to share it with.

ASK THE TWDG GANG!
Ask them a question and they'll answer. Specify the character, please be either season 1 or season 4. It can be more than one. Clarify if you want a drawing or not. Drawings take longer. Don't be shy, I'm a nice person.. I think.
