Self indulgent reverse TKK thoughts where Daniel is in Cobra Kai and Johnny is in Miyagi-Do.
Johnny came from a different part of Cali and is trying to blend in (which is easy for him)—not expecting five boys to come around and push him for talking to a girl he just met.
He did some wrestling before, but karate? Nope.
Maybe he was a little rude, but getting pummeled by a guy way smaller than you in front of everyone is embarrassing and undeserved in his eyes. The boy was cute. Way too baby-faced and fluffy to be so damn merciless.
To his surprise, one of the boy's buddies helped him up—the one with bleached hair he thought was just having a moment of kindness until he used that same grip to tug him close and promise darkly that he'd be seeing them again—with or without Danny. Then tells him with a shrug and deceptively casual tone that Daniel is the nicest out of all of them, so keep that in mind, man. He meant the warning. Johnny sees them at school and at random. And it's when they're without Daniel that they're far more salacious to him. Even the one with longer hair, who seemed a little concerned for him before.
But Johnny wants to see more of Daniel, yet he doesn't at all. Daniel seems kind to others around school when he’s not…irritated about something. Flip that switch and he’s making you bleed.
The aggression is attractive and Johnny can’t help but like when it’s directed at him—just a bit. Underneath the pain of a bruise.
His Sensei is even more intimadating. Has the eyes of a predator that make Johnny freeze when he gives him a once over with a smile. Looks him in the eye the whole time as he tells Miyagi to make Johnny enter the tournament.
Daniel is struggling with his morals. He and Kreese are always butting heads, and some days he truly can't stand the man—but Cobra Kai helped him get stronger. Less movable. How could he just leave something that's done so much for him? He owes at least one more win to Kreese.
He's pissed, alright. Pissed about the wreck his relationship with Ali became and pissed that he can't get that stupid blond guy with pretty lips out of his head when he keeps showing up. Pissed about his so-called friends doing things without him.
Definitely not terrified of change.
He wonders what Johnny's lessons with Miyagi look like—probably dreamily calmer.

Hi i am an bit too shy to just spam like and comment on the flowershoop au and...i love it so much??? And knowing that they are experiments i have this little Idea in my mind..and i wanted to show you is nothing big but i really hope you like it and also also my first language isnt English so sorry if is hard to understand:
Cold, loneliness and emptiness was what that being felt, trapped inside that damn cell where other people went out and came back to test things he didn't understand, but there was one good thing... at least that's what his thoughts said, on the other side of his cell behind the glass, he could see two more, one had the head of a sunflower and the other one right next to it...he couldn't distinguish which kind of flower he was, at least there were those two to distract from the pain and sheer isolation he felt.
For days they only communicated by small gestures or symbols, the one in the last cell showed a word he couldn't distinguish but it was a good word as he always smiled when he showed that word to him, were they hard times? Yes but at the same time no, he had his happiness but at the same time he would trade everything to be free with those two.
There was some agitation in the last conversation, at least from the big guy when they were talking last time, but he was refusing to talk at all always showing the symbol of the night, but he didn't want to know what was happening to make the big guy so nervous, but it was better to wait since he trusted that the other knew what he was talking about.
The sound of something breaking and him being carried away startled him and there was something red that was hard to see and it was hot, and big guy looked like he was desperate to get out of there as fast as possible...moon...moon...was the name he heard now..he had a name.
Again sorry if is not good
Bruv!! It's great :D I've read it like three times now, trust me, it isn't hard to understand in the least.
Coincidentally, however... I do happen to have some lab-time sketches on hand :)

I saw that other ask about Zuko ending up firelord in LIAB and I'd just like to add on to that my thoughts abt it in the original show-
was it just me or did it feel really out of character for Iroh to try and push Zuko into a major leadership role at 16?? Like how did he possibly think that was a good idea, what with all the seriously heavy burdens that it would bring on to Zuko? Not to mention Zuko has had barely any chance to be a regular teenager for a second throughout the show, what with the 3 year banishment and then he's immediately pushed to be firelord..
Also the fact that firelord feels really unfitting for Zuko?? He's shown to not be a good leader. I feel like coming out of a 3 year banishment and awful childhood I don't think he'd want to be surrounded by constant reminders of his abusive father and not to mention be in the same role his *abusive father* was in...
Sorry for the impromptu and slightly incomprehensible rant... this is still one of my biggest gripes in the show. Btw your writing is wonderful and im so excited for the next chapter of LIAB! Have a great day :D
Hiiii!! (here is another impromptu & very incomprehensible rant)
I think Zuko would have been a good fire lord if he was given the proper training & support. But I have to say I think it was completely in character for iroh to do that to Zuko…
I enjoy iroh but I think his character is EXTREMELY flawed & his way of helping zuko develop from a young angry hurt 13 year old boy could have been handled a lot better. Yeah yeah he isn’t zukos dad but he signed up to mentor and be there for Zuko so he could have mentored him a little more. (a lot more - I don’t think is was likely Zuko had any growth from 13-16 because he was pretty awful at season 1 and disrespected everyone including iroh and was in so much denial about his situation it was SCARY)
I could go on & on about iroh and his missed opportunities with zuko but I think irohs “Zuko will overcome and he is good inside” way of thinking is what prompted him to plop his teenage nephew on that throne even though he was like 3 days into his redemption (ok yeah it was maybe a month? Idk but not very long). The anger, sadness, self doubt, unhealthy coping mechanisms were all still there - but iroh is very…. ‘He’s got this I believe in him’
Even if it means zukos going to struggle and stumble over himself and work extra hard to try and be a good leader with (let’s face it) almost no healthy leadership experience. (5 minutes into being aangs fire bending trainer he is yelling at him. his idea of how to get aang to take training more seriously is to attack him - yeah let’s give him a fucking country! Yiiipeeeeeeee)
If iroh cared about Zuko he would hang up his tea uniform, take his RIGHTFUL place as fire lord and have Zuko become his crowned prince and start learning how to be fire lord while UNCLEEEEE took the initial burden of becoming fire lord right after the war. But nahhhh let’s invent boba or whatever he was fucking doing in BSS
*deep breath* sorry… I promise I LIKE iroh… I just….. DISAGREE with his methods.
Sorry about my rant anon haha

God, do you think after Emmett's return to Hill Valley after the events of films two and three that the rumour mill really starts up again? Like, here was Doc, looking his age proper at sixty-five. Then all this happens and suddenly he shows up looking barely forty, younger now than plenty of other people around town.
I'm sure that there is no shortage of new rumours in the tune of Doc's finally gone off the deep end and started experimenting on himself in some wild search for eternal youth. Doc Brown's trying to live forever!

More BG3!Raistlin
Playing with haircuts. he has so many freckles!
(Yes I know his Con should be lower but there's a limit to how much I want to fuck with my first run. It's pre-Test anyway.)
Now, which one would Raistlin choose? :P

Idk what's better, the fact that The Boys beat out the team that knocked them out of the playoffs last season, the fact that they gave them their first L of the season, or the fact that our supporters section gave Damian the Roy Kent Chant.. We can't say fucking. Bc this is a Family Club. But like.
He's here
He's there
He's every-everywhere
Da-mi-an
