Jayfeather and Willowshine for the hypokits?

A big ol four kit litter for these two~ Two made it to Warriorship, one passed in their apprentice-hood and the one died as a kit. Two molly warriors, the kit is a Tom and the apprentice is a Jack!

Honestly- I’m having a hard time thinking of a story for how Jay and Willow hooked up. A rivalry between the two, with a slight mutual respect (tho the rivalry is very much a big factor). Maybe romance blossoms from their respect to one another- or it was just a one night thing- who knows? I don’t!

But these four were the result, Comfreykit, Thymekit, Juniperkit, aaand Lavenderkit. I gave them herby type names. Since both parents are Medicine Cats. How did Willowshine explain her litter? Maybe she told the Clan she found them, or if they clocked onto her having kits, she was vouched for by Mothwing to keep her position.

She didn’t tell them Jayfeather was the father- which he kind of realizes it when he hears about the litter and how another Medicine Cat had kits/or Mothwing informed him that Willowshine had found a litter of kits- whoopsie he’s just like Mama. Uhh let’s say the litter was born… post OoTS? Either way he doesn’t get… much time to spend with his kits except for Gatherings. Though he still gets updates from Willow (who makes sure he knows how well they’re doing in RicerClan frequently- gosh darn Willow stop being full of yourself I swear to-)

Now Juniperkit doesn’t make it long, I’d say he just had trouble suckling, or was just born weaker then his siblings. Lavenderpaw was a skilled swimmer, but probably not the brightest star in the sky. Dove into flood waters to try and help some elders, and the poor apprentice just never resurfaced after they were taken under a few too many times.

Now Comfreynose is a dry paw- she just can’t stand the water, can’t put her paws in it or anything. Which she gets from Daddy unfortunately. Which is fine, she can navigate the lands far better then her sister who ribs her for the lack of swimming. Heck it’s possible the passing of Lavenderpaw made her more wary to enter the water actually. Pretty good at finding out where land prey is- she had to be to prove she didn’t have to get in the water to be a good RiverClan warrior.

Thyme stripe is your run of the mil RiverClan cat, and probably takes more so after her mother. Though the fact she doesn’t know her dad and the potential fact that she knows Willowshine is her mother does have her… feeling out out? She might’ve wanted to be a Med Cat so she could be closer to Willow- but it was shut down by Mistystar. But she still volunteers to help in the Den, and does try to investigate the mystery of who her dad is. If she finds out it’s Jayfeather I’d kind of be surprised tbh, but Y’know let’s throw her a bone and say maybe she does find out- and is swiftly told to keep that a secret because if that gets out then hoo boy that won’t be a good scene.

Making these four were… difficult because there isn’t that many genetically accurate options other then grey tabbies and just plain grey cats. So I tried to use different shades and stripe length/widths.

- also just a side note I was looking at Willowshine’s page and they killed her off?? That’s kind of upsetting, and I’m guessing they killed her to give Mothwing another apprentice which stinks. Just let RiverClan have three Med Cats, you did it with ThunderClan!

But tbh I’d probably just do it for River and not Thunder because well I wouldn’t make Jay be a Med Cat nor Alder, and give Leafpool Twigbranch who showed genuine interest in it. Stop forcing cats to be Med Cats I hate it so much, let cats want to be Med Cats

Snapdragon: Make up a romance plot for (insert ship).

Here's one for you: Dustpelt isn't fifty years old when his girlfriend becomes a warrior and the ship is immensely less creepy. And also they don't get interested in each other until she's had a couple years as a warrior. Or at least one year. Bam, the ship is less creepy. Everyone go home.

Petunia: Which arc is your favorite? Which is your least favorite?

Currently, I'm having a lot of fun with TBC, bearing in mind that I haven't read anything but this and arcs 1-3, adding one or two Special Editions. TBC is introducing new concepts and not fucking around halting the pacing for the sake of elongating a thin plot. My least favorite is actually the first arc, because it pissed me off the most. The characters are infuriating and decisions made in the story are incredibly dumb. I talked more about this here.

Iris: Name your top three favorite ships and your top three least favorite ships.

That is going to be impossible because I hate every single ship in this series. They're all bad. A ship in these books is at least one of four things: nonsensical, out of nowhere, creepy, or abusive. Usually they're two or more of those. And if it's a fan ship, it is almost always nonsensical or out of nowhere. Maybe in one of the books I haven't read, there's a good romance, but I sincerely doubt it.

Hello! I've got some OCs with names and descriptions, but no personalities. Just know a seer is a med cat and a matriarch is a permaqueen and you're good. Tawnytail (deputy molly), Specklepelt (seer molly), Rowanpath (matriarch molly), Hawkpelt (tom, senior warrior), Lightningsight (tom, senior warrior), Bergamottail (tom), Burnetfur (molly, young warrior), Thymepelt (molly, elder), Daisypaw (tom), and Teaselpaw (molly). Sorry for lots of names, but thank you!

Tawnytail- A serious and intelligent she-cat. Tawnytail wants to ensure her clan is run as efficiently as possible, and she takes great pride in enforcing this in her role as deputy, she always ensures her patrols are comprised of cats that will work together best while mixing skillsets of regular to ensure that each patrol is as good as the next. Tawnytail often doesn’t have time for any chit-chat are slacking, her mind is always on her work and for any cats that break the rules she will always suggest stern but fair punishments for them to her leader, 13/10

Specklepelt- A curious and friendly she-cat. Specklepelt’s mind often wanders when she isn’t doing things that are not urgent, she tends to daydream or get distracted by something that she feels compelled to investigate, it isn’t uncommon for her to come back from collecting herbs with some two-leg trinket she found, she will often keep these trinkets so she can examine them and try and work out that they are. Specklepelt is a fine seer that performs her role to the highest standard, and she is known to be very approachable and helpful. Even if a clanmate isn’t suffering physically, Speckletail will make time for any cat that needs support, and will often try and help them with their problems, 14/10

Rowanpath- A kind and courageous she-cat. Rowanpath loves all the kits that she helps care for, and it never fails to fill her with immense pride when they receive their warrior names, she always cheers their names as loud as she can. Rowanpath is very popular in her clan, and not just amongst the cats she has helped raise - she is a generous, kind and motherly cat to all, and is never mean or spiteful- the closest she gets is when telling off some naughty kits, and even then once the scolding is over she always tries to cheer them up. Rowanpath would never hesitate to do anything to help her clanmates, she may mainly be located in the nursery - but that doesn’t mean that her claws have become dull- she can easily hold her own in a conflict and wouldn’t hesitate to throw herself into battle to defend those she loves, 14/10

Hawkpelt - A thoughtful and serious tom. Hawkpelt is a very observant cat, he will often notice things other cats overlook and if these things happen to relate to enemy clans, he will report these observations to his leader and relay any suspicions about what these observations could mean - he’s usually right. Hawkpelt will never put any less than 100% into what he is doing, and he sees slacking off or cutting corners as beneath him, he wants to be the best warrior he can possibly be, and believes this is achievable through self-regulation and discipline, 13/10

Lightningsight - An energetic and intelligent tom. Lightningsight always seems to have the eagerness of a new apprentice - and the energy of one too! The other senior warriors don’t know how he has so much energy at his age, neither does Lightningsight for that matter, but he’s not complaining. Lightningsight is a very sharp cat, he is a great problem solver and can always offer some extra insight into a situation- this often allows him to solve any disputes he encounters quickly and efficiently, and his bubbly, friendly demeanour always helps to de-escalate tensions, 15/10

Bergamottail- An extroverted and proud tom. Bergamottail is quite the show off, he thrives being in the centre of attention and so will often do his best to make sure all eyes are on him. He is extremely talkative and won’t hesitate to insert himself into other cats conversations, and he will always try and offer pointers and advice to his fellow warriors- even those senior to him since he believes he knows best. Bergamottail has a strong sense of pride and will take great offence if he is insulted, even accidentally and it isn’t unheard of for him to challenge a cat that insults his honour to a 1v1 - this means that he isn’t insulted too often, as much as other cats hate to admit it he is actually a fine warrior, 14/10

Burnetfur- An introverted and kind she-cat. Burnetfur generally keeps her head down and keeps to herself, she’s very shy and doesn’t like to engage in conversation unless she feels it is needed. Despite her introvertedness, she is very popular in her clan due to her sweet and kind nature, if another cat needs comforting she will always be there, she might not necessarily use a lot of words but her kind actions speak volumes, 14/10

Thymepelt - A kind and wise she-cat. Thymepelt is a greatly loved and highly respected member of her clan, while she was a warrior she never failed to show kindness to her clanmates and she was a brilliant strategist- now she has adopted a very grandmotherly role to many of her younger clanmates and she is always there for any cat that wants her. Thymepelt’s opinion is often sought after, she was always a bright and insightful cat, and that has now given way to wisdom as she has gotten older, she is usually right about things but is never gloating or arrogant about it, she’s just happy to help out her clanmates, 15/10

Daisypaw - A confident and kind tom. Daisypaw loves being a warrior apprentices, he feels like there’s no challenge he can’t face and he can’t wait to receive his warrior name and become a full member of the clan. Daisypaw will often do a lot more than what is expected of him and his confidence never falters, even if he messes up with a move he will always make a smooth recovery. Even if he can come across as a little arrogant at times, he tries not to be, he really is a very sweet cat and will often do his best to encourage and cheer up his fellow apprentices, and will help them practice anything they are unsure of and talk them through it, 14/10

Teaselpaw - A nervous and determined she-cat. Teaselpaw has never been a confident cat, she often doubts herself and can be surprised fairly easily. Teaselpaw hates how jumpy she unsure she is but she doesn’t know how to overcome it, but by StarClan that doesn’t stop her from trying to. She commits a lot of time to trying her best to gain confidence, and she always tries her best with things - even if she is never fully confident in her abilities, she will always try and make sure she does her clan and mentor at least a little proud of her efforts, 14/10

Realized that not only would their cutie marks be spoilers, but it’s more appropriate for them to not have any at all until later in the story. So the request is not answered. Oh well. At least I got to draw ponies.

People get torties so wrong so frequently and don’t realize how diverse the pelt color can be.

Yeah. It’s a pelt color. Not a breed.

Oh, and calico tabbies are called calibies (sing caliby).

Also, I heavily simplified the brown tortoiseshell thing. If you want more detail, look that crap up. I’m too tired to explain.

grabbed three color palettes i made and threw them on this to test out how i want this story to look. @themissinglynx has been helping me learn color coordination, but as you can see ive still got some learning to do.
