somi makes a special appereance in jungkook's documentary as more than just a friend

"All set to go?" the director asked. 

Somi fixed her posture on the chair, the makeup artist giving her final touches before the actual recording began. When Jungkook invited her to be part of his special documentary before enlisting, they had long meetings and talks. Just the two of them, with their managers, their members.

They were together for more than a year now and things were fine that way. All the necessary people knew of them and Somi wasn’t ready to invite the whole world to have a closer look at their relationship. Other than that, she knew how crazy both their fans can be and that was the last thing she wanted her boyfriend to get worried about, at least, not for now. 

But both Jungkook and Somi knew that was necessary. They couldn’t stay acting like they were rookies and hiding from cameras everywhere. There was already a commotion as she was part of his ‘Standing Next To You’ MV, Dispatch already had enough material of them. So, there she was. Seated in a chair in front of three cameras and, at least, ten people behind them - Jungkook being one of them. 

"Yeah," Somi said. "I’m ready." 

To whoever was watching the documentary, Somi’s presence was revealed following the timeline. She had some parts while they were showing the whole backstage, when she was helping Jungkook in the studio as he insisted her to, but now, it was just Somi. 

Dressed casually — an oversized shirt (probably JK’s), jeans, and sneakers — Somi flashed a knowing smile at the camera, as if saying, ‘Yeah, now it’s time for the tea. The lights dimmed slightly as the camera tightened its focus on Somi. The director gave her a reassuring nod before signaling for the first question.

"So, let’s talk about how you got involved in this project. We saw glimpses of you throughout, helping Jungkook in the studio, even in the Standing Next to You MV. But how did it really start?" the director asked her. 

Somi let out a small chuckle, feeling shy, tilting her head as she thought back. Jungkook, watching from the monitor, arms crossed, with a subtle smile on his lips. 

"It started… a long time ago?" she mused. "We have the same group of friends, and we went to school together. Before anything, we are best friends. I believe that, even if I debuted first, it was so nice to have someone in the same position as I was back then."

"Which was…?" the man asked, trying to deepen the question. 

"We are the youngests in our groups, we fill in pretty much the same positions…" she listed. "And most of all, we debuted at a really young age. Being in the industry we are, having someone like that is crucial."

"I see." the man wrote down something and Somi enjoyed those seconds to wipe the sweat off her hands on her jeans. "So, how did it go from friendship to romance?" 

Somi let out a laugh.

"I mean... I guess it was organic. For me, at least." she answered, wasting no time. "We were always there for each other, we saw each other growing and evolving. I believe the admiration and love we felt for each other was also evolving. For him? He might have a diffrent answer." Somi joked, making some crew members laugh. 

The scene changed and it was now Jungkook’s interview. 

"I was in love with her for, at least, five years before asking her out for the first time." he answered, his cheeks going red. "It was organically, for her.” he laughed.

A few crew members chuckled. Off-camera, Somi’s voice piped in, "Oh, you were suffering."

Jungkook covered his face with his hands, laughing.

A montage sequence plays with a lot of moments the crew was able to get from Jungkook and Somi together. One of them was Somi and Jungkook in the studio, headphones on, lost in their craft. She was harmonizing with him as he laid down a raw vocal take. The instrumental for Standing Next To You blasting on the sound system as they were trying to finish the final details. 

"I don’t think the last part is good though." Jungkook said, rubbing his hair, anxious. 

"Says who?" Somi asked, leaning against the mix board, arms crossed. "Come on, JK. You can’t be serious." 

Jungkook doesn’t answer at first. Instead, he sighs—the kind of sigh Somi knows all too well. The ‘I’m so fucking tired’ sigh. She gets closer to him, hugging him and rubbing his arms as he cuddles her embrace. 

"I’m so tired." he admits. 

Now, a raw, handheld camera clip shows Jungkook and Somi sitting on a rooftop in Seoul, wrapped in oversized hoodies, eating convenience store ramen. The city lights sparkle behind them. 

Somi nudges him with her shoulder. "You overthink too much."

Jungkook sighs, leaning back. "It’s just… people expect so much. I don’t want to disappoint them."

She twirls her chopsticks thoughtfully. “I get it. But, Kook, when was the last time you made music just for you? Not for the charts, not for the fans. Just for yourself?”

Jungkook took another slow bite of ramen, staring out at the skyline. He didn’t answer right away. The neon lights flickered, the sound of distant traffic filling the silence.

Somi grins, changing the subject playfully. "Whatever. If you’re too busy being the Jungkook™, Golden Maknae™, Global Superstar™, at least let me steal one of your songs."

Jungkook bursts out laughing. 

"Absolutely not. I should be doing that. You're a grammy winner."

Back to Somi’s interview, the director looked at his notebook before asking her again. 

"There was a part of the whole production that really stuck with me, where Jungkook says he didn’t know how to slow down, how to breathe until someone told him. I believe that someone was you."

Somi’s expression softened. 

"It wasn’t anything revolutionary," she admitted. "I just reminded him that he’s allowed to be human. To take a break. To enjoy what he’s built instead of always chasing the next thing." 

"Did you ever think you’d be sitting here, in his documentary, as his girlfriend?"

"No," Somi admitted, a small, knowing smile on her lips. "not like this."

The director glanced at his notes before looking back up at her.

"There’s a moment in the footage where Jungkook looks at you while recording, and it’s… different. Like, you’re not just a collaborator, not just a friend. I believe that, if we had let that scene, people would notice that. But have you ever?"

Somi blinked, caught off guard. She let out a soft chuckle, shifting in her seat.

"I—uh, I guess?" she admitted, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "I mean, I always knew how intensely he works, how much he puts into his craft. But… I didn’t realize he looked at me like that."

A beat. Off-camera, someone murmured, “Oh, he definitely does.” Laughter rippled through the crew.

Somi covered her face with her hands for a second before peeking through her fingers, laughing. "Okay, next question, please."

The director smirked before flipping to another page.

"Okay. Last one. If you had to describe Jungkook in one word. Not as an artist, not as ‘Jungkook of BTS’—but just him… what would it be?"

Somi’s teasing expression softened. She took a moment, inhaling, exhaling.

"Home." she finally said.

A pause. Even Jungkook, watching from the monitor, stopped fiddling with his sleeve.

"Why?" the director prompted.

Somi smiled, small but certain. "Because no matter where we are, no matter how crazy things get… with him, I always feel like I’m exactly where I’m meant to be."

A quiet murmur swept through the set.

I originally just wanted to make a horny post but here we are now, Don post. And keep in mind, all of this is speculation all hearsay and I have not read Don's book.

I might redesign and just redo my self insert oc for one if Bloodfeinds have a thing with masks and if the Pinky Finger has blood feinds? Its only heavy spectulation on my end given the scrapes and blood on the finer from Ryoshu's art. Unrelated but the mask make me thing about Jojo and the Pillar Men. Uhh, more speculation actually, maybe all Kindred in their culture, take the mantel of another role or face? For Don, its the valiant hero. With blood being part of their image, their goal is extending their influnce.

Go further, maybe the Mask and Rocinante can be related in the roles they want to play. The Barber was mentioned and I heard the original Don took the shaving thing used to collect hair from the barber and used it as a hat. I'm thinking for Casstti at least, the technology of that mask after getting enough blood would make him look all human.

From Distortion Detective Chapters 41 and 42 before they axed the series, here we have:

For context: Moses is talking to an older Bloodfeind in this fancy hotel because she wants Moses to murder her. For one, yeah they do feed on human but their not overtly evil? It's a hidden evil but tame for City standards. Elena was just a big exception but popular enough to give the whole species a bad reputation.

From Distortion Detective, we get the information that Bloodfeinds like keeping their numbers low.

There honestly must be cultural diffrences between blood feind populations of diffrent Districts. Don might actually be an Elder.

Also, it's not a new plot point with a bloodfeind who doesn't conciously know their a blood feind.

So does the Distortion inside bloodfeinds have to be awaken? I have no idea, but Rocinante seems to be Don's anchor.

When we meet another Bloodfeind, perhaps an elder one, it doesn't seem in the norm for Bloodfeinds in general to do giant blood bag and conversion things. This is a very hopeful reading of what can easily get retconed but my guess is Elder Bloodfeinds just drink a little bit and then normally let their victims go. But again, we never found out if this person was reliable or not because Project Moon discontinued Distortion Detective. Elena is an outliar among bloodfeinds and Casstti is put into a warp train as a blood feind, in an enviornment that gives as much blood as you want.

Wherever Casstti's from, he was running away to make his own 'kingdom' because where hes from was awful. He had no idea how the Warp Train would opperate. None of this was planned, everything was incidental.

My theory on the events: Cassetti hides in the freightcar to escape wherever he is from and hes been hiding there eversince to get enough blood to make his mask so he can blend in with the City residents, hide his bloodfeind features, maybe fuse with his mask. But, the bus woke him up and maybe he was spotted by the multi-armed fixers where he feels compelled to make Sasha a Kindred after her helplessness. Then our gang comes and fights him. Yeah. So many things to look forward to. And if the connection of the Barber in Don's story, a one off thing, Cassetti might be coming from P Corp. Two things i've just seen from Lob Corp's Shelter from the 27th of March and the Library Of Ruina Wiki:

Hey guys its close to finals week when im writing this i have no idea when ill post it, but enjoy!!

Brimstone: Took charge of a group project but ended up doing the whole thing myself. (15)

Viper: Willingly grabbed a wild snake to show my mom when I was 3, but cried when they wanted me to hold a tarantula (3 then 6)

Omen: For some reason me and my friends use to play that we lost our memory, we really just used it as an excuse to be mean. (I was 9)

Cypher: Spent hours on an app that let me see city cameras in china or something (9 maybe? I'm not sure)

Sova: The first time i went fishing with my grandfather (RIP grandpa) I was so proud, then i dropped it on the ground and it flopped into the water. (i was 5)

Sage: My friends and i would hop the fence at our elementry school to go pick wildflowers, we had to stop because we got ticks (9 or 10)

Gekko: I had one of the electronic Furbies, i still have that yellow shit. Me and my brother were playing with him and he turned evil and we got so scared. For a month we made our mom put him under a flowerpot with 2 bibles on top of it. (I actually dont know how old I was)

Deadlock: My grandma gave me a sewing kit for one of my birthdays so I just threw it at people (6)

Iso: Collected little rocks at recess then put them in the shoes of kids I didnt like (6)

I have been trying to shift for around 4 years now, but have been taking breaks because I had heavy mental problems. I tried to shift there too, but yk, not really motivated. Tho I didnt care abt my cr, what was like "letting go" of it, I assume?, it didnt work out for me. I truly believe in shifting, I mean why would so many people lie? And look at the universe there are fcking black holes with no explanation, and astral projecting is proven too (or atleast many believe in it and experienced it) so why not shifting? Now, I feel motivated to shift, but I cant ignore the 3d like I used to. I always hear something and I KNOW its from my cr, because in my dr its complete silence. I cant seem to convince my subconcious mind to believe that I AM able to shift. I know I am standing in my way, but how not to? I mean, yeah everyone is able to shift but all i ever was able to do is get close. I know, thats much in a way, but I never woke up in my dr, no matter how much I "hated" my cr. My logical side is always saying in the back of my head "girl, not today." no matter how hard I try, I always end up here. Tho once i shifted to a paralel reality, its never a completely diffrent one, yk? I truly do not want to be here anymore, I DO want to shift, I DO want to be in my dr. I DO want things to change. But idk whats stopping me. Even when I didnt give a single fck abt this cr, I still was "stuck". No matter how often I say "I have already shifted" my thoughts just drift off and I am just soo exhausted. I just wanna experience it, even if its just a one time thing. I know I can return at any time, so I dont think I am scared. And if its gonna happen anyway, how can I be scared of shifting or success in general? Do my mental problems stop me or smth? Because if so, I cant wait till they are fixed gah damn. I know I can do it, I know I AM able to shift, I mean I aint nothing special, why would I be the ONLY one not beeing able to shift?? But, how do I make my Subconcous believe in myself?

Sorry for ranting, I am just so confused and I hope you got some ideas?

Nothing is stopping you from shifting. You are not stuck here, your mental problems are not keeping you from shifting, you don't need to convince your brain or your subconscious of anything, you can and you will shift.

If I may, I want to suggest a little modification to your methods. It is common knowledge in the law of assumption community that you do not need a method to shift, so sitting down closing your eyes and doing whatever method you can think of to try and shift is not necessary, but if it's something that helps you, by all means feel free to continue doing it. However here's my suggestion, if you are trying sleep methods, you are too focused on what's happening before you fall asleep when you should be focusing on just falling asleep. It is called a sleeping method for a reason, you are supposed to fall asleep and then you wake up in your desired reality, whatever happens before is not a problem. You're hearing sounds and you cannot focus on visualizing your Dr? Not a problem. You're too anxious and too stressed? Not a problem. You can't stop your mind from overthinking? Not a problem. All you need to do is fall asleep. Affirm that you're going to wake up in your reality and hold the intention that you are shifting. And when you wake up you will open your eyes in your desired reality. That is how sleeping methods work.

Awake methods are the ones that usually call for more focus, it's like meditation where you need to visualize and focus on your desired reality until you feel the shift. Sleeping methods are just as their name suggests, you will need to fall asleep and then you will shift.

So give yourself a break, stop worrying about how long it's going to take and how long it already took, stop worrying about every single block you think is standing in your way to shifting. Give yourself some Grace, appreciate all the effort you have already put into this journey, release the worry and the paranoia and the desperation, and rest in the knowledge that you are shifting no matter what.

You know how in 2d animation Disney (and few other studios i think?) When there was a song of some kind very often that song got a diffrent artstyle for itself or was edited or colored in a way that really made it its own thing popping out from the rest of the movie

Think "almost there" "shiny" even "zero to hero" while its not disney i think because of how kickass it was and visually where god knows where "in the dark of the night"

I thought about it a bit and by a bit i mean a briefcase and by a briefcase i mean i thought about this loser piss baby sylvester again from a non comic perspective most likely bc im using him in animation and kinda have to and bc... its geniuenly fun ehehehehehe

so I thought what if sylvester had a villian song and what if that villian song had its own artstyle, something seperate and more him centered I ended up thinking

okay please hear me out, imagine something like this

its not the prettiest or really accurate to his posture or design either disneys nor mines but im in my writing set up and im not gonna change it just for this but later I'll make accual proper concept art for this regardless!

I think a newspapers visuals would be fun for sylvester because of its uniquness and because at the same time its very "sylvester like" in a way, we see that guy with newspapers in hand more than a gun/j

I think it could also show off his wants or even already existing ways if used correctly, newspapers are something everyone reads, it makes people change their mind quickly and can sway the public like sheep without that much effort because of it being on a podium of "trusted" for so many people just...because, kinda like a lawyer, because of the title alone people are more likely to trust you in something they themselfs are completly lost or unknown to I already said this before but sylvester with his good disguise on could make a law up and most likely a character would trust him because- because, hes a lawyer he beasicly leads you by the hand in the dark if you let him

having him appear and sing about himself around clearly fake news behind him would be a nice wink to the audience

plus people on newspapers at least according to animated cinema are most often on there because there either getting a price for being yours truly #modernCitizen or got busted as criminals with a dynamite in their shoe

having sylvester sing and visually make himself into the first one during his song kinda taking pride in tricking people before he even does so only to end up as the other at the end would be something really nice and consecutive imo...that being said I think if he were to have a song it would more so be about him just having the time of his life being as good as a ceo rather than anything, that or his song would be an explanation of his current plan, he's the type

the newspaper visuals/artstyle would work really well for him either way

Just started watching "Hazbin Hotel".... Im rather enjoying it! Good fun story as ever, adult jokes but not like TRYING too hard like some, like random swearword or dirty joke makes it funny, I do think its written smartly aswell as scarily, I mean, its HELL of course its full of the worst people. Vioce actors are doing a good job, some are even very good at mimicing there predecessors. Some are a bit more noticebly diffrent BUT still like, Keith David is cool as Husker hes got a great vioce nice to see him use it more, getting more out there. I LOVE how Angel uses pet names with everyone even the girls I WONDERED if he would or just men, and sides I love when people use pet names, whether its just be friendly or a hopeless flirt like Angel X3

Songs are good, animation is NOT as fluid as Helluva Boss, BUT still very good. Like in Owl house specials, they had one or two scenes where they had more frames but the rest was a lil more simply. Its not BAD or ugly or stupid, its good.

And I'm glad that this finally got off the ground. maybe took awhile but at least it DID. Sometimes projects get started but we ONLY get a pilot, and never see anything else. Not everything turns into a big thing. I honestly thought the FNAF movie was cancelled for ages as there was no news for years, but it did come out.

And we get to learn more and see the characters interact and do things. I think we all wanted to see them, so, YAY!! We finally do.

Also the retelling of how things came to be, adam and eve, yeah, thats good too. I mean why NOT, people often manipulate the "sacred tomes" in any religion to fit things, justify there hate. And making Adam an chad asshole honeslty explains the "women must be submissive" part of the bible. As a fictional way of course BUT yeah a lot of bible thumpers go on about that part along with god hates fags. Interesting way to make that WHY its that way Cant wait for more and I hope its not too short, ends too soon. Shows can get cancelled suddenly too so. I hope not

Scents 101

As mentioned, this is long, and quite complicated. This idea was one of those you get right before falling asleep and then you scribble it down manically before passing out. After a good night's sleep, I worked out wtf i meant and wrote it down properly. I've been brainrotting about scent communication for a hot minute, so finally figuring out how i want it to happen is Neat!!! Anyways, if you wanna use this PLEASE DO!! and tag me in any products i wanna see❤️

Nerd fun under break...

Okay, first, there's three layers to any given basic, non-mated, non pack person. I will first explain those layers.

Firstly, you can observe here thar the squares are of diffrent sizes. It's simple, alphas "throw" more scent (meaning their pheromones are stronger/projected outwards more). This is to attract a mate! Betas project the "normal" amount, they dont really rely on scent as much (theirs is more volatile). Omegas throw less, simply to garner less attention, and therefore be safer. Fem! Omegas are on average pretty dainty, so they hide even more, it's nearly Impossible for a stranger to know whether someone is fem!O or fem!B.

Next, what the layers mean:

-Yellow layer: The top layer, easiest to make out. Basic info about health, Sex, wellbeing, Mated (yes/no)

Blue layer: Baisically markers on who their parents/birth pack were, who raised them etc. this layer will be explained more in depth later!

Red layer: More volatile compounds, such as emotions and "active" communication, like someone purposefully souring their scent as a threat, show affection, etc. The volatility means this is harderst to read from a stranger, therefore it's at the bottom.

Omega-Spesific scent: As a measure of self defense, Omegas can throw a pepperspray-like pheromone compound which causes distress, lethargy, fear, nausea and lack of motivation in its victims. It is temporary. It gets thrown on the upper and base layer, unless the Omega has any conditions that cause the constant production of the compound.

How does a new pack form?

A Beta is neccesary for pack forming, only their scent is volatile enough even when grown. They act like sort of a "crucible", cooking up the new Pack scent by taking the upper two layers of the others and mixing them with their own (green here). The base is too volatile to mix well in packs. Once the Beta has a fully mixed pack scent, they may "give it back" to the other pack members via scenting, or gifting clothes, or whatever they are into.

Hey, it looks as if the beta looses their own scent in that process?

Yup, they do. Well, it mixes with their friends, causing it to shift into a pack scent. Whether they have a pack or not, Beta scents shift around all the time, as they dont expirience a "cementing" of their scent Profile as part of Presentation (more on that later).

Here's a visual of just this phenomenon! While A/Os keep part of their historical scent, Betas do not. None of these have mates, though...

What about mates?

As we've learned, (unmated) Omegas throw less scent that alphas. To be considered "mated", There must be enough mixing of ALL scent layers to be noticeable. As we've just learned, Neither As nor Os actually Change their scent after presenting. Meaning that a mating must be kept up near CONSTANTLY. Be it with close proximity, biting, sex, cuddles, emotional closeness. It has to be maintained. SAME GOES for Pack-structures. Pack scent will fade if not kept up (this is a Beta task, obviously)

Here's what a scent profile for a Mated Person would look like, if they had NO pack.

Betas, again, don't keep their historical scent. Once mated, An Alpha will throw less, an Omega will throw more. Because the A doesn't need to show off anymore, and the 'Taken' scent is safer for an O, and they may need it to bond with their kids.

Beta base scent is quite strong (it's all they get individually afterall, it's easier to read out), so the mated bit doesnt touch it.

What if they are mated AND in a pack??

Do what you want before you can’t, because it’s normal to want to roleplay as a warrior cat and run on all fours in the woods or play with dolls or make up games, but once you get older you start to realize it’s diffrent. You don’t get the same magic you used to, and you realized you wasted the only time you could be a child and not feel guilt.

I worry I am starting to have the delusion that we are a lil spiritually/psychically connected, that we may be the same "souls" experiencing similar but different lives. A lot of the things you post I feel like I "get it", and maybe I project my own identity onto you.

This all sounds very narcissistic and egotistical 🤢 But it is comforting. I don't wish to be close, and I wouldn't want to cause you harm. I've followed you for like 6 years, and these thoughts have only been recent.

Im probably not the best person to ask for a "reality cheek" from since i belive reality is individual. But ill try answer this ask regardless.

I think im a very "spiritual" person, i do belive in connections between people that are deeper than "normal connections", and connections that are meant to be. But theres no way for me to know if we have any sort of connection because you are anonymous, i know nothing about you or who you are, or if we have talked before. I have discovered to have deeply spiritual connections to people before though. But thats alwaya been discovered in physical reality, not online. As its also a physical feeling.

I do not belive in souls at all. In my mind there is no way two people can be the same person. There is only me, in my current life. I wish it was different honestly, and i could hope for more. I cant allow myself the comfort of thinking i have or am more than what i currently have. (Unless we are talking about different dimensions , but we share one, and i can only exsist in one dimension at the same time. But all dimensions i exsist in are a part of me and my current reality, not separate and i could not interact with myself from another dimension, just gain consciousness of it and experience them Simultaneously)

Its very normal if you "get" my posts, and relate to me. But before you get delusional about me , maybe talk to me on a personal level first. Because im very complex in ways that cant be precived from just following me and seeing my online content... even if you feel yourself seen or reflected in 100% of what i post online, that would not mean you are me or even similar to me as a person, or that you even understand me in any degree as your preception of me could be horribly off/wrong.

And again, i dont show all of myself online. Im very carefull to keep my most personal information or even traits to myself or close ones to learn about. I also have DID, so this is just a small part me as an antire person in itself. Our life experiences that shape us are completely diffrent too.

If we do have similarities, if youre able to relate to me deeply, or feel we might have a connection, i think thats at most a great opportunity for friendship. Feel free to dm me, id love to talk. I don't understand "dont wish to harm you". The only thing that would upset me is trying to claim you are me online or impersonate me. Id also be uncomfortable to me if you tried to copy my behavior, art or style in order to feel closer to me or being me. There is lovely wonder in accepting yourself as your own being and exploring your own self. Being you is the one thing you will always have that can never be lost or taken away. (Well.. only by de*th...) id say you are the most important being in your own life/reality. Just like i am to myself. And you should focus on that and enjoy it while you can.

Chapter 7+: Volts Upgrade

Volt could only reply with a simple "OK" before his message systems where blocked by the block chip. The chip also blocked his ability to move so hes completly imobile now only able to see and speak.

As Volt said Frank did, Volt now couldnt see, hear or feel anything, he was completly surounded by darkness. Frank took some time wail reparing Volt, his systems where old and really out dated, he took 4 hours repeplacing, updating and modifing Volt. When frank was finished he removed the block chip and waited untill Volt woke up

Volt waited untill all his limbs where usable then he woke up, he looked around and saw Frank working at his desk, he then barked in a much better voice, he was suprised by this. Then Frank looked back at him and let him off his harness.

Sculpture Elective Discapline Reflection

For the last two weeks I was working in sculpture as part of my three elective discaplines for semester 2 of first year. One of these weeks were taught and the second week I spent working on my sculpture piece throughout the reading week.

At the beginning I spoke with the tutor about my concept for the movement project witch for me was moving through the pandemic and based off this discussion I gathered images of a corona virus under a microscope and I began looking at the shapes and textures of the surface of the virus itself looking at parts like the spike protens. Since working with fabrics was an intrest of mine one of the tutors brought me down to the textile store room on the ground floor sculpture department where the tecnichian recomended and gave me these strings of fluffy fabric, I started with a cut of cardboard that I painted black and using a hot glue gun I began to stuck down creating a allmost carpet like base that I felt replicated the texture of the surface of the virus.

After this I talked to the tutors more about what I was planning to make and they encouraged me to instead of recreating the spike proteans exactly to what they look like in the images to focous more in recreating the general/simplified shape of them, they showed me diffrent ways of how to do this like twisting and allmost moulding paper and using chicken wire witch is what I went with so I began cutting sections of chicken wire and twisting the bottom of them and folding the tops out, when I was happy with them I stuck them down with the hot glue gun. I then took fabric scraps I got from the textiles room and began to stick them to the top of them.

After this I was advised to start making the shape of my piece less uniform and more organic so I stuck a mesh base under the piece followed by a sheet of paper to work on, I then stuck fluff onto the piece and around it making it less clean cut and look more like its spreading out natrually, I also impulsively stuck pieces of red mesh fabric I balled up to it to recreate the small red proteans seen on the surface of the virus in my referance photos. I then trimmed the paper base I stuck down to size and shape of the piece.

I stuck down lines of red fabric scraps commming out of the red pieces i added before to give it a more infectios look and I liked how they kinda fell off the sides of the piece when on a stand, after this I did artists research on the english artist Anna Dumitriu and her piece "Plague dress".

I started reading week with making a more permament stand for the piece, I did this by taking a cutting of wood from the scrap pile in the sculpture room and attaching two stiff tube mailers also from that pile and sticking them together and then sticking the piece ontop of that.

I then took a thick wire and began threading fabric scrap through it witch gave it a zigzag look like the RNA seen in the virus, I then hot glued certan parts to the wire to keep them in place and shape. Following this I did more artists research into the artist Yayoi Kusama and her piece "Infinity Mirror Room, Phallis Field".

I took what I learned making the RNA fabric wire pieces and I started threating a thinner wire through blue fabric so I would be able to sculp and mould it when It was attached to the piece this was the most time consuming part of this piece, I did the same to some green fabric too and when done I attached it under the top part of the piece to replicate the inside of the virus.

I then took the RNA pieces I made and attached them and moulded them into shape to further recreate the inside of the virus. To finish off the piece I took fake vines I had leftover from making my outfit for runway to drag and began to stick them to the base to give it a more finished look.

With the piece finished I brough it to the photography studio (It broke on the way i did infact crash out but I managed to fix it enough to do the shoot) where I put it onfront of the greenscreen and took closeup shots of the top of it as if youre standing on it and looking from that perspective.

When I got home for the weekend I brough the greenscreen photos into photoshop where I removed the greenscreen making transparent cutouts of the sculpture, I then began to work with photo manipulation with adding a stock image of a sky to the background to experement with aswell as adjusting the image of the sculpture, I learned about how to use the HDR toning menue in photoshop and I exported my experements and uploaded them to my tumblr.

Overall I enjoyed sculpture especially using textiles to create my piece and being able to experement with shape and imaging the piece and photoshopping the piece to look like its allmost its own world, for my last week I hope to do fashion again as fashion is my priority and I feel like both what I made for sculpture and graphic design would transfer well back into fashion for my final week of Movement.

Well if memory serves me right components wise we were mainly taking a quest 3, stopping it and placing the cameras in proper places suspended by an adjustable pole (think only radio antennas but just for adjustment and wire management), with the battery replaced with 2 interconnected lithium ion batteries for the 24+ hour battery life to charge while you sleep! (Alll cooled by silent fans of course!) And to counterbalance on the otherside, one of those mini like hand side computers hooked up to a raspberry pi that would hopefully also hold a Sim card for phone service. The raspberry pi would connect to the dial, switches, the handset, and in theory would tell the vr headset to just be cameras fir optical sensors and detect hand motions (a feature of the quest 3) for different settings such as auto dial, accessing the inbuilt computer, ringtone, ect to improve quality of life (this is why it's halted in progress mostly we need a programmer who could do that gah) but if programed and wired right you should have a semi well managed easy to tinker with base with parts to hold on a shell (the phone exterior) in parts for customization that should click together covering the wires and looking just like a phone! It would have th needed exhaust ports, cooling and breathing ports, but also an optional food hatch to eat with it on making it even more liveable! The main bulk holding the parts would have a swappable aperture to fully cover up the bottom giving the illusion its part of your head while still being able to be taken off!

Idk how coherent this is but there's so much that's planned! It's expensive as hell sadly and needs skill but in theory this could all work with customization for diffrent models of phones, and the handset having magnets to hold it down when moving and to hold a hat on if you so wish! There's a ton I missed but hopefully this gets the main idea of how it all should work and the obstacles keeping me from doing it! If ya have any more specific questions feel free to ask!

The Erlkonig or Erlking is this figure in German Mythology who kidnapps children. When he touches you, he kills you. This poem made by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe then adapted to this song is what you see. Erlkoning Heathcliff is trying to intice Heathcliff to die by telling him that it's his fault Cathy is dead. All identities refer to the sinner as "child" when you look into their uptie stories. Mili and the singer of the video here use the same technique of changing the tone and pitch of their voice to differntiate two characters.

The Wild Hunt is a part of Norse Mythology where Odin, mounted on his sixed legged horse Sleipnir, goes through the forest. According to norse-mythology.org, anyone who gets caught up in The Wild Hunt, spotted or seen, gets carried away. Your soul will get incorporated into The Wild Hunt. We all know Erlking Heathcliff did, the rising of the bodies. The Wild Hunt is also mostly describe as having hounds, and who was a hound? Hindleys.

How did Project Moon mix two diffrent mythological ideas together? (Its not just two, they mixed so many more.) Back on topic, Hellequin is the fairy king, and this figure pops up in German, French, Italian, and English folklore. I can't do proper research when all my search results are mixed with random junk and I'm becoming nutty. Journal Article from this book on a section about horned deities made in 1922 speaks of a group of ghost riding, who are also huntsman.

All and all, The link between The Erlkonig and The Wild Hunt isn't as wild and unexplainable as I originally thought. It's just so cool to see all these concepts intersect. There still so much to touch upon like the headless horseman refrence and the Dullahans, RYOSHU COMPARING THE WILD HUNT TO THE PARADE OF 100 SPIRTS, something along that line, I forgot the name. I'm just not the right person to yell about this but I will anyways. The writers mixed so many symbols of death into one character. Such a wild and nutty Canto. Thank you so much Project Moon.

Wild West Render Distance (Spet 27, 2023)

Its the post apocalyptic wild west and im going to my cousins house. Actually it’s a video game but also real life, like SAO. The game got a new expansion the sizes of the entire US, that’s because the game is set place on a fictional country and the expansion is Literally the US

I go to my cousins house uninvited, all I can remember is that I watch YouTube videos on her computer, but instead of a normal screen her setup projects the video onto a nearby wall

I don’t entirely remember what I did but I remember it was something really bad that I didn’t think was bad. Cousin and entire family finds out and decide to torture me I think? I obviously don’t want this so I go on the run. The outside landscape turns from sterotypical Wild West town into infinite suburban neighborhood the further I run. (FUN FACT) A few of my dreams have ended up with me in infinite suburbias, probably because I live in one and thats just the landscape i'm most familiar with. Despite how terrible a infinite suburbia seems like, I actually kinda like it, like I know this landscape and can do whatever I want with it, I run on rooftops and jump from block to block like i'm weightless. The infinite planes off roofs is no diffrent from a infinite felid of grass really.

Anyways, I run around the neighborhood from rooftop to rooftop, apparently trying to get far enough where it’s impossible for them to track me down since they can run as fast is I can. So I need to do more then go fast to be rid of them. I eventually find out how to fly by Literally just flapping my arms like wings. I fly so high up in the sky I go out of the dream render distance.

In Minecraft, everything around you is rendered in a sphere shape, fly up high enough and the ground bellow you will only catch the bottom portion of the sphere, making it so the ground bellow you is rendered in a circle since the outer edges are out of distance

I go so far up that details like trees, houses, and roads disappear out of the render distance and all thats left is a green circle shaped blob. Then the circle shaped blob grew a cartoonish mouth and face and started to look like an emoji. The more I focused on it the more defined the features became and smoother the edges grew. And the dream ended with me floating in a black void making faces with what once was the earth.

Now first off .....Disney's animated films and live action films are completely diffrent beasts ,like comparing a fox to a poodle

Disney is more well known for the animated projects then they are the live action.Heck I wouldnt call Lion King a "Cult classic " ,its in the Capital C Classic category

Now Disney's live action fare have a few Capital C Classics(20000 Leagues Under the Sea,Old Yeller,Mary Poppins ,Who Framed Roger Rabbit , Pirates of the Carribian ,etc ) and more niche cult classics (Tron,Bedknobs and Broomsticks ,Flight of the Navigator ,Something Wickid This Way Comes,Return to Oz )

Jungle Cruise is to recent to be a classic or a cult classic ...But if you just mean is it considered good.....Yeah .ITs generally considered good ,second best movie based on a theme park ride

As for my personal feelings.....ITs the 1999 Mummy meets the African Queen .I think its fun but no where in my favorite Disney films but its good .Honestly my favorite aspect is Jesse Plemmons as the villain

I only signed up for watching this movie cause Jack Whitehall is in it, but as I'm watching it I ended up disliking him super quickly, he feels like a bad stereotype of a possible gay character or just the average American depiction of British upper-class prick.

So, I haven't watched Jungle Cruise yet (Emprex did, so they are more qualified to talk about it), but I do recomend this podcast talking about it in the context of jungle adventure movies portrayal of Latin America:

In recent yes, few of the live action movies have been musicals. The height of the live action Disney musicals were between the 60s and 70s, and usually included interaction with 2-D animated animal characters.

As for me being of South America, I will say that there is a problem with the industry in the US and Europe as a whole where south american cultures historically have been used interchangeably, and in the proccess you have movies where "brazilians" are show to have spanish names and speaking spanish (when our language is brazilian portuguese) and the capital of our country is either Rio de Janeiro or Buenos Aires (it is actually the city of Brasilia, which was inaugurated and replaced Rio de Janeiro as the center of goverment in 1960).
