Do you mean the actor or cole? I think the actor is HAWT but I still have to shake off the cole character. Which I think is common, if someone plays a charatcer too well you gotta shake it off. My Example theo james, I’ve watched everything he’s in, he’s so hot! He’s my type! But for two years I couldn’t really think of him or watch him cause he played a dirty cheater in white lotus so well! I’m getting over it now! (This is prob more common when an actor plays a darker character tho)But back to cole, he gives incel vibes cause while saying all women are the image of the mother and shit, he’s calling rhaenyra a cunt, he’s so mad he couldn’t have her he killed a random man at her wedding, and now he hates her, and her kids and willing to wage war and kill hundreds, just cause she didn’t want to give up her birth right to be with him. Very incel. But the actor is beautiful and my type :-)

When the York's moved to Tonopah Valley....

William had been a week away from turning twelve years old. He had been anxious about the move, but overall supportive of whatever his father needed to heal. But Simon and Percy could tell how down he was. And so a tradition was born for the young Sagittarius, born at exactly 7am on November 24, 1985. On the morning of his twelfth birthday, at 6am, Percy and Simon stirred Will from bed and they all bundled up and got in the car to drive to Lake Mead. As the sun started to rise close to 7am, they sat on the hood of the car, drinking coffee (or hot chocolate in Will's case) and his father's would cheer as the hour hit, celebrating his arrival into the world, re-defining that day in 1985 for Will all over again.

The morning of Will's 38th birthday was no different, except over the years a few guests had been added to the crew that piled into the car while it was still dark out. As Will got older, he always found himself waking up earlier and earlier on his birthday, preparing more to leave with. What had once been hot chocolate and coffee was now coffee and breakfast sandwiches and whatever pastries could be piled into a box at that time of the morning. This year, like many others, Theo and Chloe were already in the kitchen with Percy and Simon (not that Theo had ever left the house) and they all piled onto him with hugs as soon as they saw him. To be surrounded by love was something that humbled him every day. But especially on his birthday.

There was always a moment during his birthday where he couldn't help but wonder about his birth parents. 38 years later and he still wondered about his first year of life, of what it must have been like when his biological parents held him in their arms. If they thought of him on this day or if it was just another day in November for them. Every year he tried to forget and every year he found the thought lingering in the back of his mind despite how joy filled the day was.

This year would include his usual lunch with Logan, a constant of theirs, a little moment for the two of them to giggle and gossip. A pause in the midst of a full day to enjoy a good meal with someone who brought out the silliest parts of him, the parts that reminded him he really was just some dude on this spinning rock. It was a moment to be reminded that he really did have the most special people in his life.

Which was exactly why the afternoon and evenings were truly for the boys. An afternoon ride through town with Cole and Nate, a dinner they'd never treat themselves too on the regular and mounds of dessert by the time the rest of the guys joined them. All to be rounded out by as many drinks as he could handle at the Outpost, blushing as Beau made a thing of letting everyone in the bar know it was Will's birthday. Which was usually how he got the most free drinks and Beau got a decent profit for the night. Laughter and shoulder pats, big hugs and endless teasing. A true loved filled day, celebrating a man who was trying his hardest to truly reflect that love back on himself.

Which is why in order to continue the good feelings of the day, Will fixed his fingers to inquire whether a certain surgeon was free at that latest of hours so he could enter the next year of his life wrapped up in the kind of warmth he wanted to have with him all the time. And a few other things that didn't need to be put into words.

And yet, Will's mind still wandered to the things that were missing. The people that were missing and he found himself wishing that one day, one year, it would all come back to him. Until then, he would be deeply grateful for what he still had. And my god, was it a whole lot of love.

The Targ Talk (a review series): House of the Dragon episode 4

The way Rhaenyra's fingers touched the pendant that Daemon gave her, when she saw Caraxes flying all the way to King's Landing, and the way she smiled when she finally saw Daemon in the flesh after 4 long years. The way Daemon's expression softened up upon seeing Rhaenyra again, their flirting moments, I am living for these!!!

THE BROTHEL SCENE WAS SOMETHING I WASN'T PREPARED FOR!!!! Of course I knew about that part in the book, but man the oozing chemistry between Matt and Milly was *chef's kiss.* Their sexual tension was so on point, I really felt how Daemon and Rhaenyra wanted each other so badly. Perhaps the reason why Daemon held back was because even if he asks for Rhaenyra's hand in marriage, Viserys would never consent to it (as seen in the later part). But anyhoo, this is the hottest scene in this episode so far and I can't wait for more Daemon and Rhaenyra scenes!

The scene with Criston Cole was hot as well but not as hot as Daemon and Rhaenyra, and I don't like Ser Criston even if he's cute (if you've read Fire & Blood, you'll know why).

Spoiler alert: There were two contradicting accounts about Rhaenyra's virginity issue. One was Maester Runciter's where he narrated that Daemon seduced Rhaenyra and he was the one who claimed her maidenhead, and when they were caught in bed the next day, Rhaenyra insisted that she was in-love with Daemon. But in Mushroom's true telling, Rhaenyra had eyes on Ser Criston Cole and Daemon...well, he basically "taught" her how to pleasure a man (yes, he brought her to brothels aside from doing a demo with her and her doing a return demo on him, if know what I mean 😂). But Criston was true to his vows so Rhaenyra wasn't able to apply her "learnings" on him.

Aaaaand yes, Daemon admitted to having a thing with Rhaenyra and asked for her hand in marriage, but Viserys was one angry papa and he was not having any of it because his brother was already married to someone else.

The side by side comparison of Alicent and Rhaenyra's lives were brilliant. Here we see Alicent who was wife to the king and has the position any woman would want, yet it was clear that she wasn't happy. She was dragged into a marriage her father carefully plotted, birthed one child after another, performed her role as a dutiful wife which includes visiting her husband's chamber whenever he needed her. It wasn't the life that she wanted, yet she had no say towards it. Her being a queen is just a facade but in reality, she is a prisoner, she cannot complain, she cannot refuse, and she is silenced in many ways.

Fan theory + spoiler alert: I have a hunch that this will be one of the many reasons why she went insane during her final days (the start of Aegon III's reign)

Rhaenyra on the other hand, though also being burdened by her role as heir and being placed into so much pressure to get married, has always had a voice (aka getting into a heated debate with her father just to prove her point). The thing with Rhaenyra is that the more people try to control her, the more she is likely to go against it. The more she's being held back, the more she desires freedom and that gives her the fire to do whatever the fuck she wants.

Speaking of which, this personality of hers is pretty much like Daemon which is why they're such a perfect match.

Again, a part of me believes that Alicent cares for Rhaenyra. However, I think the reason why the latter denied her bff the truth was that she knew she couldn't trust her anymore. Instead, Rhaenyra used this opportunity to make her father strip Otto Hightower of his title as Hand in exchange of her marrying Laenor Velaryon which I think was a clever move. Otto deserves it anyway hahaha!

Spoiler alert: Rhaenyra was adamant to NOT marry Laenor and was only brought down to her knees when Viserys threatened to make Aegon his heir. That's when Rhaenyra consented to the marriage.

I forgot about the part in the book where Viserys actually came to his senses and fired Otto as Hand 😂. But I am so glad that he wasn't as dumb as we think he is, the king removing that pin was so satisfying.

I also found it funny at how Rhaenyra had to dramatically put up some shit about Otto trying to ruin her, but Viserys ended up not believing her anyway (that she didn't have sex). Rhaenyra's face when she was given the tea (as ordered by Viserys) to get rid of the possible consequence was so freaking funny.

Hello, hello, my lovely readers! I'm back tonight to get the last three fandom prompts I had done up out and up! After this, I'll probably try to get one to two posts done up out of the ten ask-box requests by Thursday at the latest! So, kicking off tonight with another new fandom to this blog, the silly and fun Blush Blush! If you have Steam and haven't played it, I definitely strongly recommend it as a fun and addictive time-waster! This prompt and the next three will be based off this prompt here and I hope you'll all enjoy!

Put any character in my ask and I’ll try to find a song in my music that I think goes with them.

Nimh – Nimh is my first Blush Blush love. He’s sweet and soft and just the most comforting feeling character to me and I always associate just that lazy, comfortable, happy feeling of Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds with him.

Volks – Both for the general tone of the music and the obvious connection to his wolfish form, I had to go with Full Moon by A.R. Rahman. There’s some broodiness to the harmony, it’s a little slow to suit a boy who’s slow to warm up to people, but it’s got this underlying sweetness that you really see in Volks as you go through his route.

Kelby – Kelby’s an active guy and I see him listening to music during gym workouts or while out jogging, just things to get him pumped up. I really feel like Lethal Bizzle’s I Win is a go-to for him so it’s a song I associate with him!

Eli – Gay Bar by Electric Six, most definitely. It’s silly and fun and honestly, Eli would be the star of any bar he walked into, gay or not!

Anon – It’s funny because he definitely is not the lots of movement type but I always kind of hum I Like to Move It from Madagascar whenever I’m focusing on completing him in game. It’s the lemurs, man, the lemurs!

Garrett – I can’t quite explain it, it’s just the way the song affects me. But Home – A House on the Hill from the Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood OST always feels like a warm hug and sunshine and comfort to me. And Garrett is all of those things and, as a bonus, we all know he gives the best hugs.

Dmitri – Okay, even I can’t fully explain this one, but first immediate thought and no others could compete – it’s Smooth by Santana ft. Rob Thomas. I think the music itself suits him – smooth, spicy, with a nice Latin flair to it and I honestly think that’s how he approaches love too. Give him all your love, don’t half-ass it because he won’t accept that at all!

Ichiban – I am pretty sure, if I recall correctly, there’s even a reference to it within Ichiban’s text in game but I definitely think that he both loves and that I strongly associate him with the Caramelldansen song!

William – Again, this one is based off a response he gives when talking in game about relatives in Bel-Air! It’s definitely the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song. I have no doubts he knows all the words to it too, haha!

Myx – Okay, but I gotta pay respect to the obvious inspiration for Myx and pick something by Ninja Sex Party! Since Road Trip is my favourite of theirs, that’s the one I went with!

Stirling – With Stirling, I don’t so much associate a song with his character so much as there’s just songs I can so firmly see him skating to. Like, I listen and I imagine our fabulous vampire just twirling away on the ice in this elaborate routine and the one I do this most for (other than plain out just anything by Tchaikovsky, who I think Stirling was friends with and whose music I think he uses in his routines often) is Tchaikovsky’s The Sleeping Beauty, Op. 66: Act 1: Carabosse (The Bad Fairy).

Scale – I know he wants to be taken seriously so much, but I just can’t take Scale seriously. Like, at all…so my song choice for him couldn’t be serious either! Which is why Ninja Rap from Vanilla Ice is my go-to for him!
