This entire fluff of Will being an adorable child was written as emotional compensation (mainly) for @actual-gremlin. Anyone else can take it as emotional compensation for my normal posts though!

Quick Note: Because timelines are actual torture this is at least a year before The Lightning Thief, mainly bc for the sake of plot I needed Luke to not be entirely evil & he really turns after his own quest/when Percy arrives/is claimed.

When Will was younger, he found a tabby cat in the woods near camp while following Connor to find flowers for their older sisters. The cat was missing half of her tail, but was surprisingly affectionate towards them. Will fell in love immediately, and while he wasn't a vet, his vitalkinesis told him that more than just her tail was injured. She was malnourished and dehydrated with a sprain in her front paw.

"Do you think your siblings will let you keep her? Do you even plan on keeping her?" Connor asked with his arms full of flowers.

"It really depends on what she wants. Poor angel. I would like her, but I wanna make sure she's okay first." Will's small arms held the cat and he pet the underside of her jaw, grinning when she started to purr.

"I didn't even know you liked cats. How could you hide this from me?"

"Ma used to take me to the pet shelters before she would play her concerts at night when touring. And I didn't hide anything. You're just a bad friend for never asking. Hmph."

"Wha? Hey!" The two boys laughed as they approached the Big House. Will's face grew determined seeing as his biggest challenge would be inside.

"Good luck, soldier. If they don't let you keep her, I'll sneak her into Hermes for you. Luke wants us family to be happy, so I can figure something out." Connor did his best to move the flowers around so he could give a salute.

"I lied earlier. You're a great friend...when you aren't playing the pranks of the century." Will nodded his head, took a deep breath, and walked inside the chamber.

Will was happy to note that the infirmary was mostly empty save for, surprisingly, Luke and Lee. What was even stranger though was Luke wasn't in a cot. He was sitting on top of Lee's desk, something that Will had be reprimanded for several times.

"Why doesn't Luke get scolded for sitting on your desk?" Will pouted walking towards his big brother and the Hermes counselor.

Both of the older boys jumped, but Lee just looked over at Will and smiled kindly. "He already was. You know how Hermes kids are."

Luke turned his body around to face Will as well with a mischievous grin. "Lee has tried to kick me off of the desk several times, but I outsmarted him."

Lee's face flushed, but Will completely missed the interaction between them, looking at Luke with amazement. "You managed to outsmart Lee!? But he's smart, but also a little dumb-"

"Hey!"

"-so I can also understand."

"William. Why is there a cat in your arms?" Lee asked, out of curiosity and to redirect the conversation away from his dating life. Will was, perhaps, his only sibling who remained mostly spared from growing up too fast, and Lee was determined to keep it that was for just a little longer. Romance just went over his head, which was the innocence a child should have.

"Oh yeah! I found her when Connor and I were...-" Will pursed his lips and thought about how to say they snuck into the woods without getting into trouble. He had never met their dad, Apollo, so Lee was really the closest to one he felt like he had. And Lee had perfected the disappointed parent look- Will blamed Michael for that. "...taking a stroll through some trees to look for flowers and I found her! She's injured and I wanna help her."

Will was determined to at least be able to nurse the cat back to health, even if Lee wouldn't let him keep her. His arms were wrapped protectively around the cat and she relaxed onto Will's shoulder.

"A stroll through some trees?" Lee raised his eyebrow as if he was questioning whether or not to let the deceit go. Apparently, Will was very lucky, because his big brother just sighed. "You know we aren't vets. How can you be sure you can help her? How do you know its a her?"

"I'm a healer." Will said it with so much pride that Lee couldn't help but smile just a little bit. "And vitalkinesis, dummy."

"Michael is such a bad influence on you. He's got you insulting me in my own infirmary."

"Isn't he also the only one of your siblings, other than this one - but he's gotta only be a fourth of a person -("Hey!") who can get your stubborn ass to take a break?" Luke spoke up with an amused smirk.

"Language. There is a small and impressionable child here."

"Mikey says bad words all the time," Will spoke up, looking between the two counselors extremely confused.

"I'll have a talk with him about it. If you want to try to help the cat.." Lee noticed Will's puppy dog eyes and let out a swear of his own in Ancient Greek. "You can try to help her, but we don't have any cat food so you'll have to see if she'll eat tuna. And we aren't keeping her." Will nodded along with a small pout.

Instead of giving confirmation, Will walked to a cot and set the cat down before humming a soft healing hymn.

"We're gonna end up with a cat, aren't we?"

"You guys most definitely are. That kid has you wrapped around his fingers."

"It's the eyes! You'd think he was an Aphrodite kid, but he just pulls the puppy dog eyes and I give in."

"Lee, that's just you being a sucker."

"I'm just a better brother than you. All of the poor, sweet children that have their ears tainted by the horrors spoken of in the Hermes cabin tell me so."

"I'm going to go tell Castor and Pollux to start awful rumors about you. Overdramatic, absolute pushover, workaho-ouch!"

"Don't be mean. I'm going to go help Will. If you would be so kind, could you possibly sneak Cabin 7 some stuff for our new cat? I really don't think I'm getting out of this one."

"Yeah, sure. Good luck with being 'Cabin Mom'. I have my own rats to gather up soon; Connor and Travis should probably be first."

Will had healed the sprain and gotten the cat water and a can of tuna which she was currently happily drinking and eating away at. He sat in a chair by the bed watching her with a wide grin. Seeing her eating made him really happy and when she would look up, he reassured her with a "It's fine. There is plenty." before she went back to eating.

Lee ruffled Will's hair when he made it over. "Things going good, Sunshine?"

"Mmmmhm! She likes tuna, I think. Or maybe just really hungry."

"We can try a few things coming up to see what she likes. Overeating can also make her sick. Sometimes cats, and people, do it when they're malnourished for so long and have, for instance, they're favorite food for the first time."

"Really?"

"Yeah. It's why when you say you're not hungry, I always say eat two bites and you don't have to eat anymore if you still don't want any."

"That makes sense! Its much nicer than back in Texas when I would stay with my Granma and Gramps. They had dumb rules." His nose scrunched up as he recalled the nights he just really didn't feel good, the very few times he got sick, and was forced to sit at the table for hours.

"Those rules are the worst." Lee agreed and pulled his little brother in for a hug. "There are some rules that are good though."

"Like what?"

"Rules you have to follow for us to take in your new friend."

Will's eyes sparkled with excitement as he listened to the rules carefully, curls bouncing as he nodded along. The small lecture ended in a sacred oath, even more sacred than a promise on the Styx, a pinkie promise.

Bear, as Will had named her - though no one knew why since she didn't look much like one, grew healthier each week. She gained more weight, especially when she realized she could get extra treats by going to multiple Cabin 7 kids. Her fur grew fluffier (giving her a bath had been Michael's job - the punishment for swearing around children.) which Will absolutely loved, because she cuddled with him at night.

She had almost gotten herself caught multiple times because she tried to follow Will out of the Cabin. (Lee was going to get gray hairs by the time he turned 20, though he'd be ancient then. He was sure of it.)

By the time Chiron did find out about Bear, Lee had gotten the other head counselors on his side if this came to a debate. Luckily, many of them liked Will and seeing him being a kid with a cat probably helped sway the tides, or maybe some God was looking out for them. Either way, Chiron agreed to let her stay since they had clearly taken care of her this long.

Will went to sleep that night holding Bear a little closer, while she simply curled up to the boy. In a few years, he would lose so much, and she would stay through some of the hardest moments in his life, but right now he was just a boy with his big siblings and their cat.

Decided to refresh my knowledge of bendy protagonists personalities/quirks and i can say that i forget how distant canon Audrey is from fanon one sometimes

Here's relatively short list with Audrey character analysis+random tibbits (environmental/gameplay/voice lines)

(I'll appreciate if someone will interact+most of it is under the cut!)

1. Her workplace is an unorganized mess

On the right side: a couple of empty teacups, empty paper sheets, unopened envelope, books/notebooks, a toy ball and keys in the middle of the desk, storyboards that are UNRELATED to what she was working on;

On the left side: donut that she kept close to her elbow & storyboards while she was drawing + to-do list for a day

There's no WAY she'll be able to keep anything tidy. If you hc her and Bendy to have a familiar bond post game, she'll be as messy if not messier. Her home might be a wreck.

2. She easily distracts

- Audrey is working overtime and claims that she has "only eight hundred more frames to go" until the next deadline

But was she actually *actively* working?

She has unrelated items on her desk (listed above) and jumps on the first opportunity to get a coffee.

If she really did wanted to have a drink, she literally has a soda machine close to her office doors.

Some brands of soda do have caffeine in them, right? Getting a coffee looks more like an excuse for a walk.

Bonus point: if you'll stay in her office without getting up (for 15 minutes), she'll acknowledge that she has no time to waste and will return to work instead.

- "Well, the coffee's good and all. But this work's gotta get done"

Worth to acknowledge: this girl has "employee of the month" award and some kind of animation award (boris statue) in her office .

Does she stays overtime everyday to finish something? Or other Archgate employees are even worse at their jobs, somehow?

3. She uses dry sarcasm or makes jokes a lot

Honestly, it happens really often and should be brought up in fan content more imo.

Due to the images limit i can't put a lot of examples with screnshoots but I'll quote some of them.

- "i think you and i have very different definitions of alright" (toward Allison)

- "Looks like he's having a bad day" (about dead lost one with the gent pipe)

- "Ok! Yeah! And that totally makes sense" (reaction to an easter egg)

- "That's one leap of faith i definitely won't make" (about the pit in animation alley)

4. Audrey gets defensive when someone starts to talk over her or when she feels overwhelmed

Audrey either will deny what was said or will acknowledge it by being sarcastic

Prominent example of this is her reaction to Memory!Joey at the hotel:

- "Oh,now you knew my father. Well, newsflash! I didn't even knew my father...or my mother. Or anyone else in my family" (after Joey says that she has "adventurous spirit of her father")

- "What? Are you crazy?... Who do you think you are?" (after the reveal of her being created by the ink machine)

+ Similar behaviour can be seen in her short interaction with Twisted Alice (Susie).

Audrey prefers to keep conversation equal between both sides and when it fails to work, she'll either stay silent or will express frustration (which can be seen with her replying "no" to Twisted Alice and not saying anything afterwards)

5. She seems to trust Allison enough to be vulnerable around her

After leaving the spider lair, she'll try to reach to Allison through the speakers

- "Alice? Are... you there?... Alice!"

She'll acknowledge that she feels scared and after Allison won't sound reassuring enough, Audrey's hand will be visibly shaking.

Allison is the only character Audrey has opened to; you'll never see her being that vulnerable with anyone else

(She is honest with Henry but not on this level)

It makes me wish they had more interactions; Allison for sure was really important in early development of the game.

6. She's blunt

Through the game Audrey is a type of person who says whatever is on her mind without hiding her intentions too much.

She's emotional and rarely thinks twice (most of her decisions are impulsive or sometimes irrational) which reflects on the way she talks.

It's often slips out through sarcasm when she gets defensive/tries to cope but it's also happens in relatively safe environment (for example, when she talks with Betty):

- "Are you...very old?" (Wilson's mansion, bedroom)

This one liner is the most random question you can say to a stranger; I doubt it was very well thought out from her side

7. Audrey easily trusts people which makes her easy to manipulate

I couldn't skip this one.

When Wilson has created a story about his "poor lost father" as a bait and Audrey did believed in this, there are multiple reasons for "why"

This either could come from her being "goodhearted" or the circumstances being used against her

- She went through whole "father trauma" in one day without being able to process anything & get proper answers:

An idea of "saving" another father (Nathan Arch) who she could've knew more than her own father (Nathan says in one tape that he meet young animators at least once) could've hit her really close to home

- Audrey never actually got a real answer on how to leave the cycle, teaming up with Wilson (who was able to enter and leave) could've looked like the only one way back

(I do acknowledge that writing in DR could've been better at places but if you do think about it in this way,it makes sense)

7.1. She is empathetic

I think that this part says everything for itself and it doesn't need to be explained. Thought, she's the one who decide if someone deserves it.

- She felt bad for hurting Bendy on accident & apologized when she was able to

- When she met Allison for the last time, she "gave" her this name, remembering that she doesn't like to be called 'Alice'

- At the end of the game she wants to try to make the cycle better for everyone.

Twisted Alice (Susie) was included which means that Audrey doesn't hold grudges against her (even with the latest one wanting to kill her previously)

8. Audrey puts her arm through an ink container without hesitation or any side thoughts

IT IS a game mechanic and lore wise you can relate it to her being an ink creature

But honestly? It's in character for Audrey.

We're talking about someone who decided to go to great lengths to catch an aquarium fish (that's kept as a pet) and wanted to use it...for a recipe.

8.1. She doesn't mind eating out of trashcans

If you think that wanting to use someone's pet for a recipe is too weird, you're actually wrong. But eating out of trashcan (when you have other options) may be.

Thought, she drives a line on a food that has flies or other insects on it (like "chocolate cake")...i guess in other cases, it's fine to her.

Trivial things:

- Bendy seems to be her favourite cartoon character.

She calls him "little guy" in prologue and keeps close to her storyboards where he's the main character:

In the cycle, she acts joyful when she first stumbles upon the real deal.

- She loves chocolate donuts

- Audrey uses dark eyeshadows (can be seen only in prologue custscene. It's hard to notice at first)

- Her breakfast from to-do list are toasts

- She has abstract Bendy painting in her office

- It can be speculated that she's uncomfortable with being touched (or with someone being physically close), unless, she's the one who initiates it

there is one bunwill fic I know of that my hc's gave a lovely person enough brainrot to write 💪 it is in first person pov and isn't completed yet but it's called piece of (carrot) cake (maybe if they got more kudos and comments they'd be reminded of interest for more 👀). a lot of my bunwill is sadly on twt but I definitely plan to post some of those here as I go!

I would never make you go over there though 🫶 Hmm I'd say wolf!mike is the most primal of all the bunwill partners, so the most dominant in the bedroom when he's really feeling it. compared to say fox!mike who I see as kind of cheekier so he gets sexually overwhelmed easier and it's cute 😋 wolf!mike is just so so loyal, obviously a protector and loves resting a hand on will's waist.

I think wolf!mike manhandles bunwill more, he noses at his more sensitive spots and it gets bunwill squirming. he growls when he feels good and it turns bunwill on - mike feeling good because of will's body always does. bunwill's good at quickening the pace and wolf!mike's grip just tightens around him because he didn't expect to be hit with the extra pleasure

wolf!mike has the biggest knot that makes bunwill feel SO full and bred he whinessss, his ears twitch and shake like crazy and then he sighs contentedly 🥰

Oh and if I can swing back to canon byler for a second... I'm sure somewhere over the years into their relationship mike has curled a finger under will's chin, given it a little scratch and called him an "insatiable little bunny" too......

Hey! Idk if this still interests you or not but I saw your post saying Richtofen isn’t a n@zi

I also believe this and have done a lot of research but I think I have trouble with finding sources as I haven’t been able to find anything that shows that he is against fascism + hates it, which makes it difficult to argue that he isn’t one when talking to others about it.

Do you have proof or some sort of instance that either states or hints towards this that could help with the argument that he is against n@zis?

Hello anon! Oh wow It has been a hot second since I've Codsed my Zombies. I'm not sure how much you know already. So I'll just go down the list of things I remeber! And i'll make this a bit beginner freindly, just in case anyone needs to show this to someone.

Also feel free to add to it!!! Or feel free to point out if I misspoke it HAS been a bit...

1) For starters, although the lore reason for Richtofen's outfit is unknown (most anything i could say here would be pure speculation and HC), we do know that he was originally just a re-used asset from the main game. He comes from the villian character Heinrich Amsel. When COD Zombies (previously Nazi Zombies) first started out, all the characters were blank slate re-used and slightly recolored assets. They ofc later gave them all names and stories (although testing the waters at first, a lot of early story got ret-conned. Such as Richtofen being a back ally surgeon.) But they unfortunately never re-designed him outside of removing the swastika :( but I also belive it's important beacuse I feel like it's one of the only things ppl bring up when the try and say Richtofen is a nazi, and I feel like it holds no weight beacuse of these things.

(Here is Heinrich Amsel. As u can see, clearly where Richtofen's original model comes from.)

2) lore stuff is dificult to pile evidance for due to how the lore in the game itself is presented. If you want the freshest and best sources (aside from meticulously beating every easter egg and finding all the secrets) YouTube videos with the quotes/Easter eggs/secrets are your best bet aside from going in game and grabbing them yourself. I can't particularly remeber what exsact maps may be able to help you. Aside from Classified!

It's just generally a real important part of the basic lore that Richtofen isn't a Nazi and hates them. It's kinda what kicks off....everything that happend. Im sure anyone could get this information from any reliable Cod Zombies lore video (i uhhh don't know which ones are reliable i haven't watched any! Probably check out Mr.RoflWaffles?). For starters, Richtofen was always a spy. He worked for the Illuminati before Maxis asked him to join Group 935, and Richtofen only joined so he could feed information back to the Illuminati. It's also important to note that Group 935 was not originally associated with Nazis. Maxis made a deal with the nazis without anyone's permission (funding and test subjects in exchange for weapons and super soldiers.) And that was one of many things that pissed Richtofen off so badly that he gathered everyone up to make a secret section of Group 935, that both worked with the allies, and planned on killing off Maxis. (Ofc his goal was later shifted and corupted by the Apothicons. But this is about how Richtofen isn't a Nazi, not questioning him as a dubious person. There was also all of the moon shit, Maxis not caring about Richtofen's experiments, a whole boat load of resons that Richtofen wanted that man dead.)

(Also. Richtofen never fought in ww2 and ww2 is already over by the time the zombie breakout happens.)

Here is a link to the Film Reels in Classified, many of which talk about how Richtofen was working against Maxis (and the nazis) and even has some verbal confirmation from Richtofen about his distaste for nazis.

Also here is also the Kronorium! As far as I know, it should still be a reliable sorce! (Like i said, it's been a while). And I think it's a bit better than the wiki (which still says his nationality is nazi german...instead of just saying he's german....) there is plenty of stuff in the interactive book that explains

Oh man, begin again. Where do I, well, begin?

It started with the end — that is, the first I knew was I wanted to write a story that ended with Link giving Zelda Hateno house.

I became obsessed pretty early on in my play-through of totk with the changes between it and botw. And when I say obsessed, I mean annoyed. I love botw. I love the world and the landscape and the characters and the story. It just felt like too much was wiped away without explanation and I decided, damnit, I was going to fix that.

Here are so fun facts/ hidden gems/Easter eggs:

Chapter 1

She is not aware of a word that accurately describes the feeling of being forgotten by the person you tethered your heart to; to have it remain connected to that person and witness it drift behind them, becoming more of a dark cloud than guiding light.

This is a little nod to like someone would. I totally Link runs from his destiny a little bit before he faces CG. And writing from Zelda’s POV, I felt like I had to recognize the pain of witnessing that.

He jokingly calls it an ‘adventure pouch’.

Chapter 2

“Even the Divine Beasts?”

“Especially those,” he asserts.  

Another nod to like someone would Link. I always feel like, similar to how SS Link would have hesitation being a child of the sky entering temples, especially underground, this Link would hate entering the divine beasts. It feels like a living tomb. I wanted this contrast between he and Zelda’s perspective where, earlier, she thinking about all the ways they could be repurposed to help Hyrule, Link only sees how it can fall again. And the pain they have already caused.

“It trapped his soul inside his body,” King Dorephan says.

I hc Link was very much dead in botw. The shrine of resurrection essentially tethered his soul to his body long enough for it to be prepared so his soul could be convinced to remain inside. I have a wip sitting around about Link’s time in this stasis and how all three of this trio (Zelda, Ganondorf, and Link have all spent some time in it) but who knows if I’ll write it.

To this group, so revitalized by new hope, united and rising from a hundred years of ruin, her proposal of clinging to their ashes might feel like poison. 

Like malice.

I’m a little obsessed with thinking about and justifying how at any given point, Zelda and Link could become a calamity as well.

“You said you think the Shrines work like the Divine Beasts? So in theory, those stopped working because our friends—” Grief, unexpected and sudden, crackles in her voice. She clears her throat. Pivots. “You can’t use their gifts any longer, right?”

Link flexes his fingers slowly. Like he’s just missing something that keeps passing through his fingers. “I let them go.”

This was a very important change I wanted to spend time on: The champion’s gifts. It broke my heart to think when mummy ganon attacked Link, he stole their gifts (essentially their souls) away from Link. And I decided it lined up with Link’s characterization in this story, that he would let them go versus hold onto them longer than needed. He especially, down to his very core, knows what that is like.

I wanted a plausible explanation for how the shrines disappeared from the map and I just thought this was so clever when I came up with it, hah. That souls fixed for so long, so dedicated and driven by purpose might need permission to let go (HINT HINT ZELDA) And also, Link had the answer all along because, essentially, it’s what he did for the Champions when they let the gifts go.

Chapter 3

A bit of a logistics chapter but I wanted to wrap it around moments of feeling. Grief and living with grief is a huge theme through the entire story. I just love the “I’m 18” scene and how she’s physically moving forward before she’s emotionally there.

With her soul is exposed and pulsing like a nerve, she can sense the entirety of the Sheikah Technology network - all the shrines, every guardian, the towers stretching up into the sky, the furnaces burning outside the Labs - all these things without a mouth suddenly have one, and they open wide and desperate, and begin to siphon energy from her.

In theory, since the Sheikah tech runs on soul energy, I felt like it would make sense it has a hard time recognizing what is fuel and what I not. So every time Link fast travels, it’s like he’s bargaining with the horned statue. I always felt like you should lose a half heart when you fast travel in botw.

I was a little nervous it would fit with the story, but I really love the letters. It was the perfect opportunity to show Link has a lot going on in his head behind his few spoken words.

It does feel fast, but at the end of it all, it's just another year. Important things take time. 

This comes back in chapter 6 when Link tells Zelda how he feels about her.

You want to know where my favorite place in Hyrule is? There is a spring on top of a waterfall north of Lake Floria. It's where I first saw Farosh. Came right out of the water and climbed up into the sky above my head. Nearly scared me to death. I can’t really explain it well, but it's where I realized I wanted to actually be here. Ruins and wild and all. It's where I realized I wanted to be the one to save Hyrule. To save you.

Another like someone would reference. Also laying foundation of Link connecting with dragons…light dragon feels.

It’s just, sometimes it feels like this destiny asks too much, you know? 

This is a big theme in the depths au. A lot of my stories are connected/have passages that inspired others.

Chapter 4

The shrine Link got sick from was Noya Neha shrine. It’s next to Hyrule castle and it’s a cave shrine. I wanted to subtly introduce gloom sickness in a way it would take several years to become a problem consistent enough for Hyrule to pay attention to. In the beginning, I see it as something just chalked up to a random virus/illness. While Link and Zelda have more of a resistance to it, I argue because of all the fast travel and not taking the best care of himself for weeks, he was in a weakened state and more susceptible to the gloom in the cave.

It only felt right that Impa would drop a bomb on Paya and announce her retirement so casually.

The thin coil braid is a nod to SS Impa.

Calamity Ganon could easily be mistaken for a dragon. Can you imagine? Facing off against a wicked version of Dinraal or Farosh?

Foreshadowing the demon dragon.

You can clearly see she was Hylian by the ears, but the hero has none of Link’s features. He barely looks human. They chose the Champion blue from the color found in the threads that make up the ancient hero’s armor, but up close, she can see it’s a blending. They could have just as easily gone with green.

Nod the ancient hero’s aspect design. I’m so desperate to make this feel connected to botw because it doesn’t, haha.

Again, an easy way to let Link’s characterization explain the detail of them having to retrieve the Master Sword before they descend under castle to investigate in the opening to totk and the Master Sword needing/being able to heal (Zelda’s decision to swallow the stone in totk).

Chapter 5

“Strong name.” The old man tugs off his hat and bows his head. “My name’s Toffa, by the way. My grandfather was head groom for the Royal family a century ago, Princess. His name was Talon.”

Nod to OoT.

Link drops down beside Zelda with two plates of food. He sets one in her lap, ignoring Tauro completely until Zelda picks it up. He’s unusually close. There is a strange edge to him; she feels it along the long line of his thigh against hers. Like she's thumbing the edge of a blade.

It was really fun to make Link a little jealous of Tauro and Zelda be completely oblivious to it.

I just love the entire Riju and Zelda scene. It felt really important for me to spend some time on Zelda facing her grief with Urbosa. I wrote a scene in the Killing Moon where Zelda uses Urbosa’s sword to cut her hair and I loved it so much I wanted to keep that theme with explaining her haircut. And of course, the most simple change between games (Zelda’s appearance) became a moment of a deeper significance.

Chapter 6

“It’s just, I remember reading that the Rito were once thought to be water dwelling.”

Nod to fandom lore Rito evolved from Zora.

“Our ears. They used to be longer.”

Another nod to fandom lore. Hylian ears once being longer to hear messages from goddesses. Sonia longer ears.

Purah’s change in appearance felt like an important change to spend some time on, not just because she’s suddenly older but also why Robbie and Impa didn’t de-age, too. It stands to reason, the same tech that ages her up could be used to alter Robbie and Impa’s age.

The air is damp and heavy. It smells – she thinks about Link and the cave shrine – funnier than it should. Musty and mineral and sickly sweet, like something is rotting behind the bedrock.

Another tiny foreshadowing of gloom.

“Just burn it.” She hears her father in the harshness of her tone. There is ink on her fingers. 

Fun fact- this is happening in the exact spot you get the memory in botw where her father scolds her.

“The song you are humming,” She fails to keep the edge out of her tone. “What is it called?”

He’s humming the song of storms in this scene. It’s why storm clouds are approaching and Farosh flies overhead.

“Kondo. The court poet’s name was Kondo. He was a Sheikah.”

Nod to the music composer for many of the iconic LoZ themes- Koji Kondo!

I wanted to say I love you without saying I love you. And for these two, bonded by destiny, choosing each other feels so much stronger, more significant and romantic to me than a declaration of love alone.

Chapter 7

The entire scene of her walking through the village and being stopped multiple times is my explanation why she eventually wants/needs the secret well.

I wrote the first passage of the story- Zelda wanting a bed- and the last passage - Zelda getting a bed/house- at the same. I broke it up when I gave it to my beta reader and only edited it a little when it was time to put it into the final chapter.

hi, I’ve been looking at this for…. a while, because… oh my 😅 I understand that it’s been so long since my Stranger Things era, and I know some of my followers follow me for my Henry / ST content. I just didn’t know my silly ST posts actually have this much impact that they stay in people’s memories even after it’s been a long time. so this ask actually brings back so many memories. and I really appreciate that you’re still sticking around. really. I had to take a moment to just sit here and stare at this ask in my inbox and go “whoa” — but it’s a good kind of whoa. I am touched that you still remember, because gosh how long has it been since my ST days!

to answer your questions, I am fine and I am doing well. thank you. I didn’t mean to “abandon” my interest. and I AM still interested in the show. I still love Henry, even though I don’t really talk about him on here anymore. it’s funny because a part of me is kind of sad that I don’t talk about him on here anymore? to tell you the truth, anon, I don’t exactly know why? I mean… sure, my blog currently focuses on something else, but I never really stop loving Henry as a character. this sounds extremely cliche, but it’s the truth. I still love him and I still think about him and those time I spent writing fics about him.

also, yes, some people have asked, and I haven’t had the chance to answer them (I’ve been meaning to, though), so this might be the answer they were looking for as well? there’s no “real reason” behind my lack of activity when it comes to ST fandom, except that I’ve been focusing my attention on something else lately, but that doesn’t mean I love the show — or especially Henry — any less. I still am a fan of the show and of Henry. and I still love Jamie with all my heart, obviously. I still keep up with him and his music and I am so incredibly proud of him as an artist and a person.

I am super excited to see Henry again when season 5 drops. AROACE/ENBY COLBY?

Ik I’ve brought this up prior but these HC are just so intriguing and fun to write even if you don’t want to play into this aspect of their character, and there are many fic concepts you could make with this (Ik, I always sound odd when I’m writing on here but I’m going insane)

SO powers kind of match the personality of the characters (in Vic’s case I can argue that him getting his powers taken helps this theory due to him meeting Eva/Surge greatly effected his personality and what happened afterwards made him more so evil or “different” than prior) and this theory helps support the theory or HC that Colby is enby because their first power they got was shapeshifting and they shapeshifted into Hartley within the first few hours of getting said powers and they didn’t really seem bad about shifting into a girl but more mad that they were thrown into this plot. Any cis male would be incredibly annoyed or upset by this but Colby seemed more than comfortable or okay with this. Not to mention the fact they haven’t even done this only 1 time but multiple within the span of the series. (Their other powers have a span of meaning about them which is incredibly important to note and I might write something just about that later)

this series follows the basic premise that most other Disney sitcoms follow BUT in those the little brother character normally gets some form of love interest within the first few seasons yet Colby doesn’t and doesn’t even seem to care about or mention it within the span of the first 2 seasons. They attempted more to impress others than flirt with Ellie in ep.17 I believe of s2 which most probably wouldn’t. Knowing Disney these HC will be just that but perhaps there will at least be more Easter eggs of sorts to help prove this idea right or make it more plausible, but they might just throw away all of Colby’s character development after a few seasons and give them some sort of romantic interest or something

seems to be a big fan of lifetime/hallmark movies, so i just imagine her setting up a movie night! making popcorn and bringing out the warmest blankets to make sure you stay cozy while watching the movie.

she also just seems like the type to go all out for any holiday! like having a small easter egg hunt at easter, or dressing you up in cute matching costumes at halloween! she'd definitely be the type to get personalized stockings with your name on them for christmas, and do adorable little christmas crafts.

small hc that after the golden globes party, jonah was just so excited to show kelly all of the old commercials she hadn't seen so he could rant about them and so that she would 'be in the know'.

also just the quote, "i never yell. even when i'm mad. i just push it down really deep, and then sometimes i wake up in the middle of the night panicked and sweaty for no reason. " it just seems like something that would cause him to regress. i like to think it was something that happened while he was still with kelly (since he said it after they had broken up), and she helped calm him down afterwards. just like she'd do after a nightmare.

Kelly turned over in bed, throwing her arm over her face. What time was it?! And why was she awake again?? She tried to glance at her alarm clock, only to realize it wasn't there. Moreover, she wasn't in her own bed, or her own home for that matter. She'd been spending the night with Jonah more often than not recently. She almost let herself drift back to sleep when she remembered why she'd been woken up in the first place.

She propped herself up to look at her partner through sleepy eyes.

Kelly startled slightly when she saw the state he was in. Sitting upright against the headboard, staring at the opposite wall, hardly breathing. He looked like he'd seen a ghost. His blankets had been kicked far from where they should be, and Kelly could see him trembling even in the dark.

“Jonah..?” Kelly whispered, not wanting to scare her boyfriend. “Did you have a nightmare, what's wrong?” Jonah physically flinched when she spoke up, which sent a pang of something unpleasant straight to Kelly's stomach.

“I'm-good. No nightmare. I'm fine, I'm good I'm-” Jonah's hasty response caught in his throat and he brought his hands up to hide his face. He fell silent again, and all Kelly could hear was his ragged breathing. She tentatively placed a hand on his back, like her own mother had done when she'd had a bad dream as a kid. She felt her boyfriend sob silently in response.

“Whatever it was, um, you're safe here? Yeah?” The sleepy fog in Kelly's brain was steadily lifting as she tried to understand the situation. She moved her hand in slow circles against Jonah’s back in an attempt to comfort him. He wiped his eyes with the back of his hands and turned to look at her, still teary. “S’ too much, sometimes,” he croaked, his voice hoarse and small, “..everything.”

Kelly nodded. She understood. “Oh, I know,” she cooed, “you've been dealing with so much lately. Work's been crazy and with trying to find a place to live and-”, she stopped in her tracks. “C’mere.”

Jonah readily let himself be pulled into her arms, immediately tucking his face against her neck. Kelly noticed how tense he felt, and instinctively began to rock slightly from side to side. One of her hands found purchase in his hair, her baby blue manicured nails drawing soothing circles across his scalp. She pressed a kiss to the side of his head. “You don't have to think about any of that now.” She whispered.

They stayed like that for a while as Jonah's racing heartbeat slowed down, his muscles relaxed bit by bit - certainly aided by Kelly's expert comfort. Until, eventually, he just felt like a pile of sleepy goop in her embrace, instead of an anxious mess.

“Thanks”, he mumbled against her, feeling his cheeks heat up with the embarrassment of the whole situation. He felt so stupid and immature, like he should have rejected the comfort she offered and just…dealt with it. Like he always did.

Jonah shifted to sit beside Kelly, vehemently avoiding eye contact. “You should go back to sleep now. Sorry- sorry I woke you up.”

Kelly wasn't having that. She turned Jonah's face up with a gentle touch of her hand to make sure he was listening. “You don't have to go through everything by yourself, Pumpkin.” Kelly mentally kicked herself for letting the sillu pet name slip, but Jonah didn't seem to mind. He only responded with a tight-lipped nod, not wanting to cry again. She was just so sweet. Kelly gave a small smile before settling back down into her pillow. She held the corner of her blanket up, and Jonah accepted the invitation, crawling underneath and letting Kelly pull him close again.

…maybe it wasn't so bad to be fussed over.

As some may have noticed I have tried to be quiet about HC and his FS. Regardless of dms or questions. HC doesn't want her involved. There is some strong protective feelings around her. I wanted to respect that and took a step back.

I even admit I would purposely say vague or even misleading things, hoping only the person it was meant for would understand.

I know more than I have let on. However, there is a time and place.

I hope I can say what I need to say clearly.

I know Henry has read my stuff. I know there are a few readers he follows more close than others because he knows they're right and they resonate closely with him.

I had wanted to know why today he was on my mind.

I did a deep dive read.

Now is where I have to think on what and how to say what is needed while also respecting his need to keep her hidden.

HC and his FS have been decided before either were even born. We all come into life with a skeleton plan. Our purpose and who we will have along side us. You can research soul contracts. Soul families and so on. But we have free will too. We don't have to have them.

HC found out exactly who his fs was YEARS ago. That is rather rare and he should consider himself lucky. He was faced with two options. Wait or don't wait LOLOL. He chose to wait for her. The last woman he chose for himself was Tara. The others were work and business. Because he was waiting. He still is.

It just wasn't their time but he was granted a peak. Very lucky.

Since then spirit has been working to set the stage for their union. Yes I said they were options for eachother before they were even born but since that moment he realized spirit has been REALLY WORKING to help them along.

It's been patient. Dropping hints, signs and messages. Divine timing has been a big time player here all along.

Someone in particular recently DOES NOT want them to come into union. Ruin is their intention. Henry does sees that. He has made questionable choices lately LOL but he can see, believe it or not.

It's was your turn HC. The world has the ability to watch you and keep tabs. It was your turn. That's why, if you ever wondered. It's part of the reason why she has been guided to do what she does. It's your turn.

Other readers have also picked up on this. His fs is very psychic. Everyone has intuition. We need it to survive. But some are born with a natural knack for intuition.

Spirit has been dropping Easter eggs for her. Sending her on a treasure hunt. She has seen and felt the one who wishes her Ill intent. Not to scare her but as a warning but also for future use. Where I'm coming close to explaining. I find it somewhat funny since spirit actually used the one who wants their ruin to help their cause.

Every move this ruinous person made, spirit matched. You used a chess board as a reference once. It comes to mind. The difference is spirit has been working YEARS on this. It's ahead of the game.

His fs has a very academic mind. They like knowing the workings and mechanisms of everything. A treasure hunt was the best option for her. Best to ease her into it.

There is disbelief coloring her. She was finally shown the connection in full. It's going to be significantly harder to put a wedge when both parties now know. She knows. There's disbelief.

She will NEVER admit knowing. She won't tell anyone.

Everyone has free will. He or her could decide tomorrow to walk away from the other. It's a risk since she knows. He's waited awhile but I don't see it happening. She plans to wait and see for confirmation.

Hes at a stage in his life he needs to reevaluate everything. He's at an end and coming into a beginning.

Hes invited a disease into his life that has potential of crippling everything. Part of it has been his own choices that have landed him here.

Hes a big boy. He will figure it out. Time moves and he has no choice but to move with it.

Sometimes its best when things are shaken down to the nuts and bolts. You can build up stronger and better.

We need pain and disruption in order to level up. Intention immediately sets spirit in motion. Good and bad. Spirit responds accordingly.

Gnat wasn't intended to be part of WH. There is a feeling of strong arming here. He doesn't want to fight. It almost feels placating. Keep her happy, and get rid of her. Be happy so you can go. The thing is, with people like her? You give them an inch and they push for miles. She also never has had good intentions and karma can have a nasty upper cut to send you on your ass. She has not put in the work. She has not worked to make a name for herself. She wanted to ride his coal tails and expected everything to fall to her feet. It won't work that way for her. People see her. She sees herself different than reality but people see her for what she is. She's not going to make it far. She is hard to be around and work with. She is not likable. She doesn't have charm. She gives off cold and hard vibes. She has her one shot now. And I don't see it going very well but she can try to prove the world wrong. I actually encourage her to. The thing is Natalie, you've wanted his ruin. But you've now attached yourself to him professionally. He fails, you fail. Your reputations are also attached for now. Also...remember Amber Heard. This has potential of going that way and she's ruined. Yes she got him for a short time but she is the true loser now.

Henry is at a new beginning. He needs to evaluate EVERY ASPECT of his life and to have authentic people who want his greatest good around him. The thing of having people with mutual interests around you, you come second. He's been a victim of that. When it comes to the wire, and they have just a bit more push than you? You lose. Because they matter more.

He has great potential of coming back from this. It will be hard. I see potential of rebranding. Big box office movies and awards. But I also see him choosing to slow down in about ten years and being more behind the scenes.

His feelings have been tumultuous as of late. There's been highs and lows in a very short period.

Karma will continue to come after you in order for you to learn what it is trying to teach you. Spirit will keep circling to you. You don't want this to come back in a few years and hit harder. You already feel low. Do you think you want it to happen even worse?

You know next year is going to be special. Look forward to it. Keep your eye on the prize. Visualize the life you want. Visualization is a POWERFUL tool.

Ask yourself the tough questions and level up like spirit wants you too.

Headcanon Time!

Given Sera would honestly say anything traditional, soft, lyrical - Essentially she'd sit and listen to soft rock or local music, really, along with, ironically, the Stamp song from Remake, she'll never explain why - I'm gonna cheat and pick off my playlist for her. XD The top three would be Speechless - Naomi Scott, This Is Me - Kesha (which admittedly in more modern verses does make her cry when she's able to listen to it and is one of her primary theme songs), and Return of the Snow Queen - Phrynna <3 Though honestly anything Lindsey Stirling releases is also way there, both on her playlist (Foreverglow especially!) and as something Sera herself would listen to!

Sera loves them, especially christmas! There's something comforting about them, especially now that she's older, and she loves christmas especially for being a season where people are generous. For a few weeks out of the year, people reach deep into their heart and become kinder, gentler, more open - Things she wants to see all year round, and she hopes to eventually see the magic of christmas eventually stretch out past those few weeks.

She's also especially fond of holiday decorations - she never really got to see those as a child, and now that she has her own home and family, she's prone to going all out and decorating everything she can, especially if it's sparkly and shiny! <3 Sparkly easter eggs, glitter and fake snow, lights and sparkles... She loves all of it, and never fails to get lost in the magic of the holidays! <3

Tending to Zack's sword and doing chores. Although it's way too big and heavy for her, very nearly matching her height, Sera will stay up all night to clean it and make sure it's ready for use the following day, even if it doesn't appear to need tending to. Likewise, she's forgo sleep to get her household tasks done, or to run errands and take care of deliveries - If she has anything left to do at the end of the day, she simply can't sleep. It weighs on her and leaves her restless, and more than once Zack's woken in the middle of the night to her in the kitchen washing dishes rather than actually sleeping beside him.

In truth, it's not so much of an obsession, though it certainly presents itself as one, and is more in line with her traumas; Sera will call it a need to be a 'good kitty' to those close enough to her she feels safe being completely honest with, and it ties in both with her nickname of 'Kitten' from Zack and her past abuse. Being 'kitten' is something of a personal shield for her (for reasons I won't get into here because that's a meta/HC in and of itself) and serves as her last line of defense, and she desperately wants to be 'good' - She wants to be dependable. She wants to be reliable. Upbeat. Not a bother. Helpful. Someone people look at and smile, not roll their eyes and get tired of whenever she's in the same room as them.

If she gets everything done she needs to, nobody has a reason to complain about it. If his sword is clean and tended to, it's one less weight on his shoulders, and one less task he has to worry about. If she can keep the kitchen clean then nobody can worry about it, or call her out on it not being sparkling. Work done on time, or even better early, means nobody else is put out because of her. She's not a disappointment, and nobody will be angry or upset or disappointed in her. She's kitten, and she's been good and helpful!

This may be too much work or impractical so you definitely don't have to use this but maybe a guess who game? Like you could post a short head cannon like 10-15 words and say things like "This character loves nuggets and Mac n cheese, they eat it at least three times a week." I would guess it's Hawks. You can do the hc based off a fanon, your characterization, Easter eggs, their personality etc. People could have a certain amount of time to put their answer in the comments (or an anon with an emoji or name id) if they get it right they move on and stay in the running to win (levels could advance from easy to hard or could be random) if they get it wrong they can keep guessing in other posts but they won't be able to win. In order to win the person has to have answered correctly every time in the states time frame, maybe the winner could get some sort of self ship OR just bragging rights cause that's cool too. If this sounds like too much work or you don't like it you don't have to do this I'm just brainstorming

hmmm i like this idea a lot actually .. tho i think you're right about the impracticality aspect of it, cuz i don't see this working out here on tumblr just due to general timing / recording problems.

that being said i could probs make a kahoot for it or something? if people wanted LOL. but even then, it would require being ready at a certain time (which not everybody might be able to do) ... and a certain level of competition based on guesses, too (which is something that stresses me out, plus i wanna GIVE to u, not make u guess!!)...

so i'm not sure. if it's something more than ... idk, 20 people wanted, i think i could figure something out for this idea, but. it would involve a lot of planning so i don't actually know how convenient it would even be, either. plus idk what the questions would be like!

What if: Perc’ahlia Atlantis AU? With accompanying screenshot redraw

Getting this out of the way, but I swapped the roles here to avoid the white savior trope as best I can - I see Vex and Vax as mixed no matter the AU, (my usual HC is Métis) and Percy is... the palest white bread, so! Congratulations whiteboy, you and Cass get to be Atlantians. I also did not draw any of the blue body paint the Atlantians have in the film, because I, too, am white as hell and do not want to overstep, given my culture has no such history.

Vex and Vax, disowned by Syldor, are desperate to earn money and end up roped into this outlandish expedition. Most likely due to their mother tongue being a close linguistic cousin to the Atlantian language, plus some relevant skills (both are archaeologists by education, though they haven’t had much practice due to uh Life; ofc they get their rogueish and ranger-ish skillsets too)

Doesn’t matter who gets the team together (Uriel? Allura? Gilmore?) - the point is Delilah and Sylas are overseeing the operation, filling roles similar to Rourke and Helga in the film. Maybe Ripley gets to tag along who knows.

Is Sylas still a vampire and Delilah a necromancer? Who knows I dont, maybe they played a role in Atlantis’ original downfall idk

The rest of Vox Machina are part of the expedition: Keyleth as a geologist with a passion for paleontology (there are SO many prehistoric easter eggs in the film and Kiki gets to freak out on my behalf). She’s literally the only person here for pure curiosity and thrill of discovery like Milo in the original film. Pike pretty much gets to take over Sweet’s role as the doctor, while Scanlan gets to be the mechanic just because I think it’d be very funny to have him sing while working only to break out into cussing. Grog gets demolitions because Yes. Gilmore might be with them if he’s not funding the expedition, though how he wouldn’t throw down with Sylas I have no clue.

Atlantis is similar to the film, except every bit about the power source is replaced with Residuum. Percy and Cass are the only de Rolos left after the cataclysm - no clue how the rest of the family died, but a thousand years wasn’t enough to get over it. Percy is likely technically the heir, but off messing with tech so much that Cass has to run the place (to her exasperation - and boy does shit go badly for her being in charge with the Briarwoods here to profit off her civilization). Main difference is that the cataclysm resulted in most knowledge about maintaining and creating tech being lost, and if not lost abandoned due to concerns about history repeating itself. Because yeah, how many ‘fantasy airbike mechanics’ got into that bubble? Not many I bet.

Percy, however, is still a tinkerer and trying to reverse engineer the old tech, but the lost language and a few other missing puzzle pieces frustrate his attempts to do so. So he’s very enthusiastic about these strangers showing up - especially when Vex is eager to help him out (she’s likely initially seeing huge dollar signs, but comes around very quickly).

Orthax is involved somehow. No clue What the bugger is doing but he’s here. Maybe encouraging Percy to use the power to fucking nuke everything to protect the city? 

That’s just about all I have for this AU. Not much, but! Figured it was worth sharing, especially paired with art <3

Heavily referenced this screenshot of Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire. I’m learning to draw people, and Atlantis’ style is a favorite of mine - so, two birds and one stone: got to learn by practicing and give some life to a lil AU that hasn’t left me alone all day.

My little focus and hc on Ran’s necklace we see in that small flashback in Tenjiku Arc. I want it to be something he keeps over the course of his life.  Maybe it’s something Rindo gave him or a trophy of the brother’s very first victory. And Rin probably asks him why he doesn’t “get rid off this ugly thing” but Ran simply smiles and keeps wearing it.  I think i just love useless looking items that don’t serve the narrative in any way but are little easter eggs that help us better understand a character's personality or imagine a part of their story (hence the fact that I loooove the plans of the bedrooms that we see in the character books), especially on under develop chara like the s62 boiz.

it’s Easter and even though Easter is a stolen holiday that probably doesn’t exist on Etheria, here’s some fun Easter HCs for SPOP.

Micah loves making Easter egg hunts, but he’s always worried it’s too hard to find them (It’s not) and goes easy on them. (He does not, however, go easy on the Easter baskets. He goes overboard.)

Frosta takes insult to that. She’s up to the challenge.

Castaspella hasn’t gone easy on the egg hunts since Glimmer and Bow started getting good at it when they were 7-8; now her eggs are the hardest to find but the Princess Alliance kind of loves the challenge because it means they have a whole day of goofing off with their friends ahead of them. Some will be enchanted to float, or have no scent (to thwart Catra) or even camouflaged, and the places she chooses to put them only add to it. Castaspella plans the egg hunt like any other event— she knows exactly how many there are, where they are, etc.

The Princess Alliance + Catra all have a friendly competition of who can find the most eggs, especially since there’s always a prize, but Adora and Catra take it very seriously. (And serious involves competitive flirting, sometimes.)

While the “kids” do the egg hunt, Angella, Micah and Castaspella spend the day hanging out and catching up while they all team up to make the celebration amazing. They also make way too many jokes about Glimmer having hatched from an egg, every year. Everyone is starting to wonder if it was the truth.

They have a petting zoo of rabbits. Scorpia isn’t very good at collecting the eggs although she loves finding them, so visiting the rabbits is a highlight for her. The bunnies love her, inexplicably.

Perfuma insists on giving everyone custom bouquets of flowers and flower crowns, hand-picked for the meanings. (Scorpia gets a special one, but isn’t familiar with the meanings.)

Double Trouble’s Easter tradition is to camouflage as if there might be an egg hidden beside them, and then scare the person who comes to collect the egg. It’s their favourite.

Castaspella, Micah and Angella team up to make the silliest looking “Easter hats” they can. Obligatory for participation in festivities.

(Since Catra can’t taste sweetness like any other cat, her basket has other kinds of treats. Beef jerky, real eggs, cat grass/cat nip…)

The BFS + Catra spend the night having a sleepover with tons of treats. They go through the photo albums of every Easter celebration catalogued and Catra makes fun of them, good-naturedly.

Cheryl headcanons?

Oh my gosh I have so many, I don't even know where to start. A lot of these are taken from my fanfic Love By Daylight because a good chunk of that story is just my personal interpretation of the DBD universe!

But without further ado, here we go:

-When Cheryl was taken by The Entity inside of that call center, she probably looked less like her SH3/DBD default appearance and more like her Starting Over/Moving On skins.

-Cheryl is one of the only survivors that The Entity is truly wary and intimidated by, and I even hc that she'd be the best shot the survivors ever had of escaping. But The Entity knows this, and took Pyramid Head as well because it specifically wanted a Silent Hill monster who could feed off of Cheryl's survivor's guilt and utilize that guilt to keep her/Alessa's powers in check.

-Besides Pyramid Head (for reasons mentioned above), Cheryl is terrified of The Nurse. Not only does she bear similarities to the Silent Hill nurses, but she also emits fire from her hand? Yeah, the thought of possibly getting burned by being picked up just sends her into an inexplicable panic.

-Cheryl is completely unbothered by The Doctor's illusions and hallucinations. The shocks still bother her though.

-Despite rarely conversing with the other survivors and preferring to be quiet and off on her own, she is extremely protective and altruistic of the others during trials to a reckless degree. This is especially the case with the more "pure hearted" survivors such as Claudette and Kate (especially Kate but that's just my shipping bias).

-She has zero issues with plunging that Entity claw into her own chest if it means another survivor can have hatch, and the other survivors find it a little concerning.

-No matter where she is in the trial at the time, if somebody does the clock tower easter egg on Midwich she will start freaking out. Nobody, (not even Kate), has been able to calm her down so everybody knows to just try and avoid it if she's in the trial.

-Cheryl, Quentin, and Laurie are all best friends that very much have a sibling dynamic and aren't afraid to call each other out on their shit.

-Cheryl will just occasionally cough up blood from time to time? Specifically when she pushes herself too hard physically during a trial or if something reminds her a little too much of all her Silent Hill traumas (she hacked up an entire fetus that'll probably cause more than a little internal damage). She's not really all that bothered by it however, she dies enough in this realm as is.

-For some reason, Cheryl feels especially comfortable around Ace of all people. There's something about him that just reminds her of Harry, and he's one of the few survivors she'll make her old dry and sarcastic remarks around.

-Cheryl eventually became the designated hair stylist of the survivors, because she got pretty good at it after cutting and dying her own hair all her life without using a mirror. Y'all can thank Miss Mason for all of good (and bad, she's not perfect), hair cosmetics in the game.

Honestly I probably have so many more but these were just all the hcs I could brainstorm off the top of my head. Feel free to let me know if you want me to elaborate on any of these of if you want more Cheryl/any Dead By Daylight survivor headcanons!
