ok i understand what everyone means about cats now. today i fell asleep for an hour with my hand on my sister's cat's soft little forehead and just.....

i'm stressed about the world and the government is taking my rights away and every time someone else needs me i just take a deep breath and say the right things. i'll be the metaphorical or literal shoulder to cry on. it's fine.

today i took a nap with a quiet cat who wants all my love ESPECIALLY when i'm busy. but who is also perfectly content to nap with me in the sunlight on one of my rare days off from work.
