kinda frustrating how we've spent the last few months acknowledging how a lot of well intentioned but guilt trippy social justice posts are like specifically designed to worm into ocd ppls brains and then now every single post abt palestine is "i dont care how bad your mental health is, i dont care how bad looking at all this makes you feel, if you don't read every single post you see on this topic in full you are a horrible person and directly contributing to their deaths. 'waaaah my mental health' well at least youre not being bombed, did you think about that??" and its like. i absolutely get where youre coming from but you dont get to complain that guilt tripping is bad then turn around and use it anyways because you think the cause youre using it for is worthwhile. like. everyone thinks the cause theyre using it for is worthwhile, thats why theyre using it. but its still a shit way to do it

Man. I just get so actually legitimately sad each time I remember that toh ended and that we live in the post-toh world. Like it really is over.

Ms Dana Terrace has said that she'd like to do more given the chance (and after some quality time off of bigger projects, just to chill), but as far as we know, it's the end.

Heck, we barely got anything after the final episode, no books, no special merch, no dedicated little chibi shorts, nothing really, aside from the, thankfully fun, get-togethers of the cast and crew!

Idk. Ah well actually nah, I do know, that this show just meant an enormous lot to me. Incredibly huge, the kind that you can't break away from and wouldn't want to anyway. The kind that feels like, man, where would I be without it.

Happy 1 Year, to the end of The Owl House. Thank you, The Owl House.

And not just that but the viewer demand and count were through the roof! Huge in general #television numbers. All to say that is is that toh was an enormous hit. both financially and to people. so. yeah. It's. kind of in the air?#I guess? that no one really knows what could happen. I mean hell amph1bia is still getting books.#Granted....lets not forget ofc that disknee really. really. reaaaally doesnt. like. toh. ×^| but who knows!#personally? still hoping for a save the light styled game someday. or just some game that I can play on my switch someday.#but yep! ive only ever seen like 2 or 3 james somerton videos max and i forget what the first one or two i watched even were (something to do with disney i think?? but not the evil queens one im almost certain) but i have hated him ever since i watched the attack on titan video and he said something along the lines of "yeah this isnt an ALLEGORY bc the ghettos in the show arent literally identical to actual historical ghettos" and i was like what do you think an allegory IS

Honestly if anyone could help me understand the difference between stimming and fidgeting I would love to know

because most articles that come up on the internet are by people who don’t have both autism and ADHD and they don’t help me categorize my stims/fidgets

so I know to remind myself which ones to do when I need to focus or need to self regulate so I don’t have a meltdown

Oh also so many random opportunities are opening up for me. I don't talk about this here much but I'm in uni atm and I'm a huge insect lover, I'm friends with the head of the (tiny) entomology department at my uni, I'm taking entomology in the fall, etc, and the prof said he thinks I could possibly get some experience working in insect collections 👀 a lot of the class is collecting and pinning (and photographing ofc).. I'm super excited even though it is a 5 hour class at an inconvenient time of day lol

#broadly though my schedule in the fall IS inconvenient #unfortunately it probably means i have to quit my job. again #ugh #im so poor i really cant afford to be quitting my job a semester before i graduate but theres not much i can do #im in class all day every day EXCEPT for the days my workplace is conveniently (lol) closed #i dont know what im going to do #ideally i could do commissions to help me get through those months but i havent made any money from them so far so #i dont have high hopes #i have to keep on that grindset though lmfao i do want to be an illustrator #and i have started outlining my first article/video essay so keep an eye out for that?#im probably gonna try and get that done over the summer (with what time 🙄 idk)#anyway. sorry for rambling again #just putting my thoughts in order at 2200 #i took my afternoon nap too late

"a strict vegan diet of raw fruits and veggies" thats not a vegan diet. thats raw plant based eating. there is no such thing as strict veganism nor a vegan diet.

strict veganism isnt part of veganism. it would simply be strict plant based eating. i mean what even would be strict veganism? killing yourself if you accidentally step on an ant?

and there is no vegan diet because veganism isnt a diet, its a mindset and philosophy heavily based in facts. diet is part of veganism, but its a byproduct of said philosphy(?).

a vegan diet can look 100% plant based, or it can look omnivorous, because its about doing what you personally are able to do, which looks different for everyone. not everyone can go 100% plant based, which veganism recognizes.

#this is about that horrible situation of a family killing their child through malnutrition #like say what it is as abuse and neglect #but stop putting vegan in the title for clickbait #cant even say 'claims to be vegan'#it might seem like whats the big deal that shouldn't be my focus #which its not! but its inevitable that someone is going to use that situation as a gotcha #bc it happens every time which isnt much but still #anytime i see vegan in an article of abuse or wtvr the description is always plant based #and it makes sense. its diet culture #people dont want their babies getting fat or they dont do proper research into actual healthy meals for children #they just look at fruits and veg and look up diet videos and then feed their kid lettuce #anyway its sad. idk how anyone could claim to love their child and then basically starve them #like you can raise a baby vegan thats been done and theres info and studies done #but like maybe talk with a doctor??
