The thing that really gets me about Black-Footed Cats is how much they look like regular cats.

Like, most wild cats of domestic cat size have features that make them stand out against the domestic cat. You can look at a Pallas Cat or a Caracal or an Ocelot and go "Ah yes. A cat, but a wild cat. Clearly not Felis Catus."

But a Black-Footed Cat? I bet you someone's taken one of those home accidentally.
