OC lore dump because. Yes
I already talked about Eterna's creator deity, Null and The Little Traveler (that was. Months ago. Lmao) so now it's about time I talk about Zephyr, Sage, and Siren, the world's Guardians.
Let's start with some general facts.
Each one has a specific "domain" they watch over and protect- the skies, the earth, and the oceans, respectively. Each one is specifically attuned to their domain, with their appearances and powers being influenced by it. They are not bound to them, though. They can explore as much of the world as they wish (to the extent their physical limitations will allow.) Their appearances are also somewhat influenced by the creatures and people they have met over the many, many years they have existed, so they didn't always look the way they do now.
(More under cut)
Zephyr, Sage, and Siren didn't exist when the world or the universe were first created. In fact, they were made long after the first sentient creatures came along. There's a lot of myths surrounding how exactly they came to be. Some say they are lost souls who died among the elements they now watch over and control, given a new lease on life by Null who took pity on them. Others think Null just made them outright for the sole purpose of protecting their elements from the greedy who choose to exploit nature.
They're all the same age, a couple hundred thousand years old (which I'll say is the god equivalent of late teen-young adult in this universe. Time gets funky when you live forever.)
They don't remember how or why exactly they were born, and, frankly, none of them really care. The circumstances of their creation aren't too relevant to their current lives. They're mostly worried about the world slowly dying from the Penumbra.
Now moving on to more specific facts about each Guardian, in order from when they first meet The Little Traveler.
Starting off with Zephyr!
Tumblr media
Zephyr is the Guardian of the Skies. He watches over the atmosphere, up until where the air meets space. He's made up of solid clouds, so his form can shift slightly, dissipate, or even produce rain, lightning, or snow when needed. He's very light and cool, and if you were to touch him, it would almost feel like there's nothing there at all. Some say he is a piece of the sky itself given eternal life.
He has full control over the winds and the weather. He can summon great storms at will, though sometimes he'll summon them involuntarily if angered or saddened enough. He's usually very chill and carefree, though, but that demeanor only came after many years of being unable to control his emotions or the storms that came from them.
He's a bit playful and quite sociable. Most people see him as strange for a deity, as he'll regularly visit villages and towns to rest after a long flight or to talk to people and make friends. You wouldn't really expect that from such a powerful being. It makes him quite well known among what remains of the population, and though he's still revered as a deity, some people see him a bit more like the person that he really is. He doesn't like being worshipped, anyway, so he doesn't mind his relationship with people being as casual as it is. In fact, that's exactly how he wants it to be. He often calls himself lazy, but he can be more determined than anyone, given the right motivation.
He enjoys flying, adventuring and exploring (especially when it's with Sage and Siren), and chatting about said adventures. Sometimes he likes to test how high up into the sky he can fly. He can reach high enough to see the stars beyond, even in the day, but that's about as far as he can go. He doesn't get to do the things he likes much anymore, though, due to the all-consuming darkness taking over Eterna.
When he first meets The Little Traveler, he is the only Guardian who remains. He doesn't know what happened to his siblings, but he fears the worst, and is on a quest to find and save them. But he's at his wit's end, having exhausted himself fighting off Umbral Beasts and keeping what remains of civilization safe.
If I had to give him a voice, I'd say he sounds a lot like Pit from Kid Icarus: Uprising.
Next up, Siren!
Tumblr media
Siren is the Guardian of the Oceans. She watches over Eterna's oceans, down to their deepest, darkest depths. Her body is made entirely out of liquid, so she will freeze or evaporate depending on the temperature in the environment. Her form is very malleable, able to change shapes at will, and will blend in with surrounding water almost perfectly. Despite her fish-like appearance and lack of legs, she can move out of water just as easily as she can in it by swimming through the air itself.
She can easily control the water around her, able to create large waves and change the tides by just raising a fin, and can draw out water molecules from the air and condense them into liquid form. She can also create ice or burning steam at will. She can swim at great speeds underwater and reach down into the deepest parts of the oceans without the pressure affecting her. (She knows what's down there, but refuses to tell.)
She is energetic and very mischievous, though she's never outright malicious with the tricks she plays on people. She is also confident and headstrong, and not afraid to try something new and take risks, which leads her to butt heads with Sage a lot. Many people see her not as a deity, but as a sea monster, or a force of nature, and she is the least known out of the group because of it. She seems almost unbothered and perhaps even unaware of the majority of the population's perception of her, though.
She enjoys pulling pranks on people, especially sailors at sea, scaring them by causing the water's to become rough suddenly or even pretending to be a monster. She never goes as far as to truly hurt anyone, she just gives them a spook. She also likes to sing, and has a beautiful, almost hypnotic voice, which some believe is how she got her name. Though she greatly enjoys company, she also values her time alone, so sometimes she will swim off as deep as possible and simply remain in the darkness for a while to relax.
A lot of the seas have been consumed by the Penumbra, and by the time Zephyr and The Little Traveler find her, she had already fallen to the darkness. She is frozen inside a cavern by a beach stuck in eternal winter, unable to do anything about the Penumbra except silently pray that her siblings are still safe out there.
This isn't the first time The Little Traveler had seen her, though. They'd been to this cavern before on their adventures, before they met Zephyr. But they thought her frozen body was just a strange ice sculpture, and it wasn't like she could speak to tell them otherwise.
And last but not least, Sage!
I had a hard time coming up with a voice claim for her and Sage, but the recent release of Sonic Prime gave me the perfect voice for her (yes I'm bringing Sonic into this. Shut.) She sounds almost exactly like Rouge the Bat and her Shatterverse counterparts (especially Rebel Rouge).
Tumblr media
Sage is the Guardian of the Earth. They watch over Eterna's continents and their flora and fauna. They were once just a sapling who created a body for themselves using their roots, molding it from the dirt, clay, and stone of the land they were once rooted in. They often smell like flowers (usually lavender) and wet earth after rain.
They are fully capable of molding the earth around them, as well as understand and communicate with animals, and grow and control plants to their will. Sometimes grass and wildflowers will sprout from their back when they're in a particularly good mood. Their appearance and energy levels also change depending on the season of the area they may be in. Just like a tree, their leaves will wither and fall during autumn, and they may go into a state of hibernation during winter.
They are very introverted, preferring solitude and the company of the animals and plants around them. They take their duties as deity much more seriously than their siblings, and they are not afraid to raise hell if people harm the nature they were made to protect. Because of this, they are seen as a mysterious being, and some believe they are more volatile and frightening than they actually are. And while they do dislike a lot of what people do and how they can cause unnecessary harm to nature, they don't hate them. Deep down they yearn for a connection with the people of Eterna, but their sense of duty gets in the way of that.
They enjoy order and calm above all else, and especially like listening to the sounds of nature and studying critters as they do their things and go about their lives. They also particularly enjoy creating flower arrangements by growing certain flowers on the ground below them, and making sculptures out of dirt and clay. They prefer their siblings' company in moderation, as they seem to take pleasure in annoying them (especially Siren.)
Their domain is mostly shrouded in the darkness of the Penumbra. They have unfortunately fallen it, their body being consumed by Umbral Rot, leaving them unable to do anything but watch as the world around them- and their own body- rot away in darkness. It's up to Zephyr, Siren, and The Little Traveler to save them.
The Little Traveler had seen them before on their adventures, too. But they couldn't understand Sage's weak cries for help. Their body had deteriorated too much to speak at that point.
The closest I could find to how they sound in my head is Howell Wizard from Bee and Puppycat.
And that's about it for now! Thank you for reading this far! Here's a picture of my cat for your troubles.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(This bastard took an entire soft pity :(( but hey, I got a Dorm Uniform Jade dupe and finally FINALLY my first Dorm Uniform Floyd on the way, so I ain't too pressed about it.) RISE UP FELLOWIVES NOW’S YOUR TIME
***Character profile, voice lines, Groovy, and vignette spoilers below the cut!!***
First off! His official profile, coffin, and candy (Fox Candy):
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(School) Grade/Class: None
Birthday: May 17 (Taurus)
Age: 26
Height: 181 cm
Dominant Hand: Right
Hometown: ???
Club: None
Best Subject: Mathematics (specifically Arithmetic)
Hobby: Watching theater
Dislikes: Saving money
Favorite Food: Apples
Least Favorite Food: Potatoes
Special Skill: Sewing
We finally get confirmation of Fellow’s age! (He had previously said in Playful Land that he was 20-something.)
I love that Fellow’s best subject is math Deuce is jealous/j; it makes so much sense given that his inspiration, Honest John (and Fellow himself) aren’t good at reading. It’s that whole “kids are either good at math or English” stereotype. In Japanese, the phrase 算数 is used. 算数 refers to arithmetic, or very basic math taught in elementary school (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing). That specific phrase explains Fellow’s elementary level of understanding. His dislike being saving money is also related to numbers; he spends the money he has right away to get by in the moment. Fellow doesn’t really have the skill or the luxury of financial planning, he has to focus on the here and now, looking out for both himself and Gidel.
OMG, his favorite and least favorite foods???? 😭 Playful Land has apple (core) flavored candies and popcorn… and again, this is a reference to Honest John and Pinocchio’s first encounter! He takes the kid’s apple and eats it, lol cnsvwiwguwkw Potatoes being his disliked food… Maybe it’s because it’s the “poor” man’s vegetable? Because potatoes are so versatile, keep for a long time, and are filling because of the starch content, Fellow might resort to eating them a lot, so perhaps as a result he got sick of the taste.
Tumblr media
What I find most interesting about Fellow’s profile are his listed hobby and special skill. He largely comes off as despicable and a slimy scammer (which he is, don’t get me wrong), but we can see different sides to him in these details—both the inner child that had his dreams trampled but remains hopeful about the future and the big brother figure/guardian to a child. Gidel is actually formally referred to in Fellow’s profile as his (non-blood related) brother, which made my heart melt 🥺 TWST must know I have a thing for beastmen who act shitty but are actually excellent mentors to the children/j
Fellow enjoys watching theater. It’s a way of transporting you away temporarily to new worlds with crazy stories and emotional performances. When words aren’t enough, you sing. And when singing isn’t enough, you dance. It’s an area that’s so full of life and joy, at least from the audience’s perspective. I’m thinking that watching theater must have been a form of escapism for Fellow, especially with how accessible it is (think of like street performances). Watching theater might also serve a dual purpose of teaching Fellow how to come across as amicable and friendly, which says a LOT about his character. He’s resourceful and able to learn from unconventional sources, then is able to apply those skills to real world situations.
Fellow’s special skill being sewing is surprisingly very cute! If you’ve taken one look at his and Gidel’s designs, we may have already spotted some of his handiwork. There’s mismatched fabric patches on their clothes!! The stitches look so clean too. The patterns not matching is probably because Fellow just used whatever scraps he was able to get his hands on, but I also like to imagine that he tried to make the best of the situation by incorporating the mismatched fabrics in a fun way (like the diamonds in his pants).
Next, can we talk about the composition of that GROOVY????
Tumblr media
It’s another reference to the same Pinocchio scene! Fellow’s holding his book like Honest John did and it looks like he’s trying to teach Gidel the alphabet from words scratched on the sidewalk. Notice how the C is written backwards too 😂 He even wears glasses like when Honest John was trying hard to act like an intellectual.
Tumblr media
And Gidel!!! Pencil and pad of paper in hand, he looks so interested to learn (something which was hinted at in Playful Land). Gideon in the film is also shown with a pen and pad of paper, scribbling down nonsense as Fellow pretends to diagnose Pinocchio.
Tumblr media
Gidel glances up at Fellow with an expression of admiration. I love how wholesome their relationship is depicted as, it leaves a warm feeling in the heart.
The framing of this Groovy is very interesting. We have Fellow to our left—a direction has historically been associated with evil (in Italian, the word for left is even sinistra, as if to imply something sinister) and in the darkness. Gidel is the one to our right and in the light. It presents Fellow to us as someone who has given up on his dreams—but not completely, since we see some light touching his hat, gloves, and highest features + he is currently teaching Gidel and still has dreams of opening his own school. Gidel is shown in the light because he’s still a naive child that doesn’t understand how the world works. His dreams haven’t been destroyed yet, and there’s hope for him to have a better life since Fellow is looking after him and instructing him.
CHECK THIS OUT, GIDEL FOLLOWS FELLOW TO CLASS LIKE MARY'S LAMB OR SOMETHING????? Gidel pops out from under the desk or out of/behind Fellow's cape! Gidel also joins Fellow on the homescreen.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Some of Fellow's expressions are so priceless... For example, look at him in Flight! There's an unsure face and a little bead of sweat. (He makes a lot of pathetic accompanying sounds too, lol) Flying takes magic, so he's probably not confident or powerful enough to maintain flight for long stretches of time--though when he does nail it, he looks ultra smug.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ADGKVAVFOOEFIEQOfsl HIS SHOCKED FACE
How uncool, Fellow-san...
Tumblr media
His attack sprites are very similar/identical to what we saw in Playful Land--Fellow's just playing for the opposite team now.
Gidel hops into battle to assist, so I guess they count as the first two-character card. It's been a while since I've seen these animations, but I think I can appreciate them a lot more now. I'm noticing new little things like how Fellow adds a bunch of showmanship into his attack, little flashy flourishes and even presenting Gidel with his arms splayed, as if welcoming a star to the spotlight. The attention to detail really is crazy for these.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you want to read his voice lines in full, you can find an excellent fan translation of them here! I'll just be remarking on things I noticed while combing through the voice lines myself:
First off: bro calls himself Fellow Hones-SAMA???????? OKAY, KING 😭 Love that confidence you got goin' on there...
bifabsiyofbefe Love how he just reads a textbook and then flat-out admits he has no clue what the heck it's saying. Hey, honesty is a virtue.
Ace 💀 He has the balls to play a prank on an adult... I kind of want to know what the prank was, but at the same time I feel like I should be shaking my head and telling him off for doing it in the first place. I do appreciate that Ace being shitty brought out Fellow's true personality there for a second though, I live for it when Fellow gets real steamed and starts shouting that the NRC students are brats or that they should drop out if they have no motivation in school.
The way Fellow automatically clocked that Kalim is way too trusting and would surely be in danger even if he wasn't the one to come for him... Fellow, watch your back. Jamill WILL come for your sketchy ass for what you did back then.
I didn't find anything super interesting in Fellow's comments about Ortho, but I do think it reveals that there is value in him coming to school. It's only at NRC where Fellow can see such a curious thing like Ortho, and that speaks to the value of really going out there and being exposed to different things. That's part of Lilia's own growth arc too, and a large part of why he now spreads that same rhetoric.
Fellow remarks that Ramshackle is "pretty sweet", which means one of two things: either this is the refurbished post-book 6 dorm OR it's still the shabby pre-book 6 dorm, but since Fellow and Gidel have never really had their own stable housing, even run-down old Ramshackle seems like a massive upgrade.
Fellow and Gidel must have been so happy to see that lunch at NRC is free and served buffet style (so there's no limits to how much you can take). On top of that, they got dead chefs from 5 star restaurants staffing the kitchen! Those two really hit the jackpot, I hope they eat well.
AVUSDGVUADOVIAISDBIDAS THE DIALOGUE IMPLYING FELLOW CASUALLY BYPASSED THE SCHOOL'S BARRIER AND OTHER SECURITY MEASURES... So Chenya-core of him, really. Fellow may not have magical might, but he's seriously street smart to have found a way in like he has.
Small detail but I appreciate how Fellow has lines which call attention to Gidel. It doesn't just remind us that Gidel is there too, but it also demonstrates to us that Fellow actively tries to include him in the conversation despite Gidel's muteness (a condition which may lead others to outright ignoring him or talking down to him).
LAST THING (though it's not in MysteryShopTL's linked post): in his birthday greeting to the player, Fellow says that both you and him don't have talent for magic, so you should get along. I didn't think the game would acknowledge the player and Fellow's similarity in that sense, so it was very nice to be proven wrong.
And to finish off this post (which ended up being way more massive than I thought it would be), a quick summary of the vignettes!! If you want to read them in full, please check out MysteryShopTLs’ post!
In vignette 1, Fellow and Gidel are putting on a street performance in Silk City. Fellow collects fees from the onlookers and then tries to milk more out of them by spinning a story about how Gidel is a puppet that can walk without strings. Buuut Gidel moves like a normal living being and sneezes, which ruins the ruse and leads to the crowd getting mad at them. The duo run off, but Fellow reveals that while the locals were looking at Gidel, he used magic to steal some of their precious metals and jewelry. In the next vignette, Fellow and Gidel have moved on to Fairest City. It's said that they live a nomadic lifestyle and hop from place to place, never staying for too long in any one location because word of their scams may spread and cause a situation where they cannot reasonably make money through their lies. (Cute detail: Fellow listens to Gidel's suggestions on where they should go next and even praises Gidel's smarts.) This time Fellow's trying to auction off a magestone that he claims will allow anyone who holds it to use magic. The people of Fairest City don't believe him and give him the cold shoulder, which upsets Fellow (since he really hates it when others look down on him). He ends up using his UM to get his audience to be more pliant and manages to sell the magestone for a pretty penny. At the end of this vignette, Fellow drops a line about how he and Gidel are so free, how they can do whatever they want since they have nothing holding them back. I really love that thought~
AND IF YOU THOUGHT VIGNETTES 1 AND 2 WERE FUNNY HAHA TEEHEE CUTE, WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE VIGNETTE 3 💀 VIGNETTE 3 FELT LIKE IT WAS A TARGETTED SNIPE ON MY HEART
The setting is Sunrise City! Fellow and Gidel are being chased off by an angry person they tried to rob. It looks like they're unsuccessful today and will be going hungry. Gidel tries opening a random can of OIL in search of food, so Fellow scolds him and tells him to leave it be. Apparently Gidel does this a lot when he's hungry (just grabbing random shit and trying to eat it), even though Fellow has tried teaching him how to read. THIS IS WHAT THE CONTEXT OF THE GROOVY IS, FELLOW SQUATS DOWN (like we literally see his 2D model lowering) AND DRAWS IT ON THE GROUND FOR GIDEL TO SEE. O is for orange, I is for ice-cream, and L is for laugh. Fellow realizes that L is the only non-food word, but he couldn't come up with anything else. I wonder if like... this is some common game they do to distract from hunger. They have to imagine the food they could have but can't. And L being "laugh"? That can't be a coincidence. Fellow could have used any other L word as an example, even if he couldn't come up with a food that starts with L. It makes me think he picked "laugh" on purpose in an effort to lift Gidel's spirits and to try and distract from their circumstances.
Aaaah, as I was saying! Fellow gets upset that he doesn't know as much as your average 26-year old would since he never went to school. Gidel seems to sense his frustrations and reassures him with a pat, which reenergizes Fellow. He says he'll try to find some food, so Gidel should focus on making a fire. While gathering wood to burn, they come across a job posting by a shady rich man that Fellow and Gidel supposedly did another job for in the past. Fellow suggests that they check out the job and if they don't like it then they can leave. ADSKJBBSLDIADBLUBAB These are the events leading up to Playful Land... meaning that Fellow’s showmanship is wasn’t something he developed at the amusement park, but as a general coping and survival mechanism to get by day-to-day.
I uh. May or may not have cried a little at Fellow and Gidel's really wholesome interaction 😭 I MEAN YEAH OF COURSE I'M A SUCKER FOR BIG BROTHER CHARACTERS (and we certainly see that in how Fellow scolds Gidel and looks out for his wellbeing, both in the vignettes and in Playful Land) but also???????? ? ? ? ? ?? ?????? ? ? ? ?? I love Love LOVE how Gidel is shown to be supportive of Fellow as well. Fellow as the older person, the adult, and the able-bodied one of the duo is pulling most of the weight when it comes to getting resources and handling communication. However, Gidel plays an important role in their dynamic as well. He's the heart and the emotional support that Fellow needs when he's down in the dumps and being hard on himself. Gidel not only serves as a "reason" for Fellow to work hard (to support a child), but he also gives Fellow motivation and hope that tomorrow can be another day. YOU CAN REALLY TELL HOW MUCH THESE TWO CARE AND LOOK OUT FOR ONE ANOTHER OTL
OOOOOOOoooOOooOOGGHHHH MY HEART *clutches it* I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE, I CAN'T HANDLE THE ONII-SAMA OF IT ALL

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION/ANALYSIS IN ALIEN STAGE
MIZI
First up, we have Mizi! Our lovely little pink-haired lady who was the most cheerful and optimistic of the bunch.
Tumblr media
Lets starts with some of the basic stuff and then we'll love on to the more complicated things.
[Please be aware that I am using everything that is freely available and I may not know anything about any of the paywalled Patreon Posts and such]
Canon and Basic Information
Mizi grew up in the Anakt Garden with Ivan, Till, and Sua. We can assume that Luka and Hyuna were in a different 'batch'.
If you go to the official Alien Stage website that showcases all of the members profiles, we can find some information about Mizi.
Now, we have to be careful cause this can both be canon but also also from the POV of the alien caretakers.
This page says that Mizi is 22 years old, 162cm tall and weighs 50kg. This is all facts. What's also there is her likes and dislikes.
She doesn't have any uncrypted dislikes that we can read but there are some likes which are available for us to read. They are the Anakt-made artificial flower and toothbrush. This is what was available to me on the Official Alien Stage website.
Alien Stage Official Website
Tumblr media
However recently, the official profiles were released that showcase more information! Here, we find that Mizi's birthday, which is still questionable due to the way that human pets are obtained, is on the August 20th.
We also find that her ID no is 020205, and thats she is affiliated with the 50th Anakt Garden.
Here, we can find that Mizi's disliked consist of vegetables and studying, which are relatively abnormal for the situation she is in.
This is all infortmation that can easily be obtained from the official site for the show. It may or may not be well known, but they are shown under the character's profile description.
Her segyein parent is named Guardian Shine and it is stated in the artbook that the scene of Mizi saying goodbye to her was described as "a mother seeing her daughter".
Semi-Canonical (Still mostly Canon)
Now we reach the parts where Im analysing a little but its seems pretty much canon.
This is mainly be circulating around the patreon posts by Vivinos and other such stuff. I will try my best to link everything I can.
First up, the lovely messages that everyone gives!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is where I got the lovely translations from!
Now, if we read through all the messages that Mizi gives the others, we notice one thing very quickly; all her messages are all very long, detailed and often seem sincere. At least, more so than any of the others.
She will compliment them in earnest and go on a bit of a ramble, as though she's writing down whatever immediately comes to her head. They are all still very kind and sincere, showing just how good of a person Mizi was.
In the messages board for her, it seems that all the note-makers knew Mizi and thought very positively of her. Another thing that two messages mention is the fact that Mizi has in fact seen the ocean and speaks of it very fondly.
Next up, the Diary Entries from Field Day!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This Official Patreon Post (This is freely available)
This is where we get a glimpse into other talents that Mizi has besides music. It seem pretty obvious that Mizi is the most athletic out of her group, seeing how she placed first in several of the events.
She also enjoys and shows pride in her accomplishments. She talks about how she can't wait to write to her guardian about it.
While we are aware that the guardians do keep track of thw children, Mizi is the only one out of all of them who seems to be in contact with them on her own volition and actively looks foward to it. This furthur cements how good of a childhood Mizi seemed to have with her guardian.
Now, we look at the interviews involving Mizi and Sua
The Official Post about for the BTS Interview of Sua and Mizi
In this, we'll be placing more focus on Mizi. But I will be doing Sua after this.
Mizi, throughout the entire interview, seems to be genuinely excuted to be a part of alien stage. She doesn't seem to realize the true horror of the event for humans.
It also makes it clear just how much of her dream goal seemed to involve Sua. She wanted to perform with Sua on the big stage ever since she was little.
These two spent their time watching the night sky when the celings opened up and talk about what they could see. They also spent their mandatory playtime together, singing most of the time.
I'll go into more detail about the aspect of their relationship eventually but for now, it's more about Mizi.
It's also made clear that despite everything that Mzi was passionate about, she despised studying and was bad enough at them tha she required extra classes.
She also shows a fascination with her home planet, Earth and would declare the spaceships she couldn't see clearly as Earth.
We also now know she needed glasses because her vision was horrible. She got them while she was in the Anakt Garden.
Mizi very specifically says 'parents' in the interview, ans not her guardian. This seems to go to show just how close of a relationship she had to her guardian. She is excited to hear from them, cares about their opinion, and shares her wants with them, which they actively supply for.
And the final part, which I think could be the most heartbreaking;
Mizi is fully unaware that those who losein Anakt Garden will die. She believes that if she loses, she will just go back to the Garden. She fully believes that if she won, it would be with Sua, wanting to perform with her for as long as possible.
She didn't know about the truth of Alien Stage and it doesn't seem like ayone bothered to correct her on this.
[This will be continued but i had this in the drafts for so long, I thought I may as well post what I had]

well step right up step riiiiiight up bcuz BOYY do i got a deal for YOU!!!
but again, BE FOREWARNED: this an unedited, impromptu Eddie profile i did on a Silent Hill FB group back in early 2020. it's been [checks bare wrist] four years since then. this was just a basic skeleton of ideas on Eddie as a canon character in SH2, and written as a response to someone on said SH FB group trying to claim Eddie was a hero and an innocent, and was totally justified in his crimes.
this was 11pg in gdocs, so grab a cuppa-whatever and a snack, and enjoy!!:
right off his wiki page is stated:
[When he is approached by James Sunderland, he immediately starts claiming innocence of the death of the man in the refrigerator, telling James that he isn't even from Silent Hill.]
so first off, he has a guilty conscience right off the bat. James didn't accuse Eddie of having any part with the corpse and yet, Eddie outright denies it as though he WAS accused; it was his kneejerk reaction. when the scene plays out in the game, you can think nothing of it; he's scared, he's obviously sick, and maybe he was sick from seeing the corpse. so he's panicking, right? doesn't seem that sketchy.
Continuing:
[Eddie is later seen in Pete's Bowl-O-Rama, having a conversation with Laura while eating pizza. Despite the fact that Laura calls him a "gutless fatso", he remains relatively civil to her. When James's appearance causes Laura to flee, Eddie decides not to accompany James in his pursuit of her, explaining sulkily that she said "a fatso like [him] would just slow her down". James points out that there's monsters in the town, but Eddie feels Laura will be fine.]
yes, the pizza is definitely a nod to an eating disorder. binge eating, perhaps, and eating for comfort. here, this reads as comfort. though Laura is mean, he's calm and honestly very good with her, which eludes to a sensitive and caring side to him. as we go further along, Eddie directs his anger towards adults. with that you can pretty easily take that Eddie has no problems with kids, regarding them as innocent. even though Laura is mean, he brushes it off because maybe he figures she doesn't know any better, or simply that she's joking. the inflections in his voice are common of adults talking to kids; a bit more exaggerated, more emotion behind it, and with a question like that, the tonal pitch and fall is also one that's lightly scolding. 'why would you say something like that, don't be like that' has a distinct sound when used.
this is also where we see the first note of his self esteem issues. Eddie is parroting some of the verbal and emotional abuse he's been given in his life - especially the fresh one. Laura called him a "gutless fatso" and he immediately calls himself a "fatso" in a mocking tone. every instance of this abuse is internalized. that sucks, and it hurts. James seems appalled that Eddie would just let Laura run free, and considering that Eddie and Laura arrived together, he probably got a good understanding of her then. she's a very independent girl. he figures she can fend for herself.
on THAT note too, that they arrived together: Laura is seen kicking Eddie in the beginning sequence. again, he doesn't react in anger; it's like a little sister bullying a big brother. (and outright, yes, Laura is a bully.) from what we can glean off Eddie, it doesn't seem like he has any qualms towards women. Laura is a snotty, independent little girl and he respects her. also he doesn't value himself a very good guardian. again, he's been beaten down by people and life in general, so this is understandable that he doesn't think he'd be worthy of going along with her.
doesn't seem too bad, right? you can empathize? good. you're not meant to see every character as downright bad, zero relatable characterization, nothing good to say about them. (something i will get to towards the end. and this is gonna be a lot, so hang tight.) characters, like people, are not black and white. they're a whole painter's catalogue of grey. no one is entirely innocent nor guilty. and Eddie, while he's had a whole host of problems and downfalls and stuff he probably didn't deserve in his life, is not a martyr, and is NOT to be considered someone who also didn't deserve to be in Silent Hill.
going on:
[Somehow, Eddie inexplicably reappears deep underground in Toluca Prison's cafeteria, slumped against the door and muttering to himself about how killing a human is "no big deal" and "you just put a gun to their head... POW!" There is yet another corpse lying on one of the cafeteria tables, but this time, Eddie attempts to justify his actions to James, claiming that the man "had it coming" and that he "was making fun of me with his eyes". When James refuses to accept Eddie's reasoning, Eddie nervously laughs and jokes that the corpse was already there when he arrived. He then leaves James to explore the prison by himself. A grave with his name on it, next to James's and Angela Orosco's, can be found in a graveyard later on.]
what we discover about Eddie is that he has a lot of anger management problems. he also shows signs of psychosis, which a SYMPTOM of mental illness (and NOT directly schizophrenia; psychosis goes along with many variations of mental illness) and psychosis "include(s) delusions, hallucinations, talking incoherently, and agitation. The person with the condition usually isn't aware of his or her behavior."
we begin to see this here. he goes from confident yet empty, intent to harm, murderous tendencies ("he had it coming" points to this) - then directly to sniveling, trying to justify himself, trying to make HIM look like the victim. "he was making fun of me with his eyes!" and when James rebuffs that, he tries to laugh it off. he clearly meant it. "you can't just kill somebody just because of the way they looked at you!"
"well, why not?"
yeah. why are you asking that, Eddie? he has a lot of anger inside him due to the abuse, and he's also beginning to project and delude himself into believing he had full right to murder someone for supposedly eyeballing him out of malice. there's no evidence. we don't know how long that body's been dead. for all we know, Eddie acquired a gun and shot a dead body because Eddie believed that a corpse made fun of him. he's sitting there on the floor talking senselessly about it to himself. he's got a wild look in his eyes - the kind of wild that's present in excitement. whether he actually killed someone or shot a corpse, he felt GOOD about it. that was a release. that wasn't any big deal! look how easy that was! that felt good!!
Eddie expected to feel bad about killing someone. a lot of people become VERY disturbed after having killed someone. this is one of the worst immoral acts, something that will stay with a person forever. one will always remember their first human kill. it's haunting. you're not supposed to revel in it, and if someone does, that's a huge, enormous, galaxy-sized red flag.
Eddie is reveling in it. it's no big deal. that was easy. he can do it again. actually? he'd like to do it again.
Eddie refuses to take responsibility for his actions. it wasn't his fault, he (the corpse) MADE him do it! you hear that a lot with children, immaturity, and people who don't want to take responsibility/face consequences of their actions, right? we start to see how immature Eddie is. he also displays sharp mood swings here. "I'm a god" to "no no no it's not me, it's them! please believe me!" there is no justification for whatever he did, and the fact that he feels the need to defend himself over it is a sign of manipulation, guilt (yes, guilt; and guilt can be a good thing. maybe he feels guilty that he did it, all of a sudden. OR - maybe he feels guilty that he was caught, or guilty that he was reprimanded. guilt does not automatically mean that he has a conscience and truly feels bad about it. someone feeling guilty for being caught is a red flag for being detached from empathy, for the only person he feels sorry for is himself), and blaming.
everyone is wrong except for Eddie.
Eddie leaves, suddenly confident again. he rather flippantly says, "Anyway, I gotta run!" and when James expresses concern about him going alone, he hauntingly says, "Yeah."
so there's another mood swing. he's gone through two or three mood swings in perhaps less than two minutes. depraved to pitiful to depraved again. i use depraved because of his arrogance. these acts were done with malicious, murderous intent. he made the decision. mental illness absolutely plays a factor here in "convincing" him to do it. that's not to say there are voices in his head telling him to do it, no. but with mental illness, a person is very susceptible to delusions and falling hard into them; they can't see any other side of a problem, this is the only thing to do, the blinders are put on and vision tunneled. mental illness is grave. mental illness also doesn't excuse him from his crimes.
after learning about Eddie later, coming back to this scene is even more interesting. Eddie's been bullied, right. in here, he's making his stand. he's defending himself. he's the hero now! everyone's getting their just deserts; how's that feel? obviously this is more outwardly shown at his boss fight, where the thread snaps for good, but here, it serves as foreshadowing.
he got cocky after killing someone for making fun of him. man. that feels really good, especially since he's daydreamed about it, probably had all these speculative plans about HOW he'd deal with someone/the next person to disrespect him like that. y'know, arguments we all have in the shower with that cashier five years ago. except Eddie's is actually violent, and he absorbs it like a sponge. he LOVES visualizing himself as the hero here, beating people to a pulp, putting a gun to their head and making them beg for their miserable lives. he wants to see someone piss themselves and blubber because they never expected HIM to have the upper hand - much less hold their goddamn lives in his palm!
this was a huge ego boost. this fed in to his delusions. he enacted a daydream. now he can go out there alone. he can do anything. he's a big hot shot.. except that he's also an enormous coward that crumbles the moment James confronted him.
this behavior is something i've already mentioned, so i'll reiterate: he's determined to make sure James knows it isn't his fault; he's guilty for being caught; he's guilty that he's PERCEIVED to be guilty, he's making excuses so he's not the bad guy. i'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that there HAVE been instances in his past where he was NOT at fault. there may have been events that FRAMED HIM and he had to take the blame.
maybe this is a reflection of that. he's begging James to believe him because many others hadn't. he NEEDS James to believe him, EVEN THOUGH he admits to his crime in the next breath. i'm not going to deny that Eddie's a victim. there've been a lot of problems in his past and he is a victim. in his mind he has to get out of this predicament right away scot-free because he wasn't in the wrong, he didn't do it, he was framed (by the guy that was looking at him funny), and it seems to me he's unable to differentiate when a situation has been pinned on him to take the downfall for, and when HE is actually at total fault for something that he did.
small note on the grave with his name on it: blatant foreshadowing. i have other thoughts on this, but we're just getting to the good part:
[In the end of the labyrinth, James is allowed to step into Eddie's Otherworld, which appears to take on the form of a meat locker and he perceives everyone to be laughing, ridiculing, and sneering at him. It is dark, bitterly cold, frosted over, and huge lumps of meat that are shaped like overweight human bodies dangle from meat-hooks. The meat locker presumably represents Eddie's cold detachment from reality and his lack of remorse in killing people, as well as being mocked as overweight and perhaps gluttonous.]
this seems pretty straightforward. more psychosis, more mental fraying. the huge lumps of meat sure do resemble Eddie, gotta say.. so you can also say that this is how he sees himself. how he thinks other people see him, just a fat clump of meat, nothing more, nothing less. he's just a glob of meat.
this is also how he probably has started to see other people: just meat. nothing more.. nothing less. because killin' a person ain't no big deal. he's removed humanity from himself and humanity from other people. they're not living. it doesn't matter. people aren't as valuable as everyone thinks they are. it's no big deal because there's nothing TO be a big deal about. to him, people aren't people anymore. he's lost touch with reality. he's lost his empathy. he's a shell full of hatred, spite, and malicious intent.
he's had a lot of shit slung at him, and it does not give him any right to be violent. full stop. self defense is a different shelf, different jar. outright, cold blooded violent acts spurred on by bottled hatred and trauma gives him zero support or reason to do that. he may be a victim, but that does not remove him from justification or innocence.
[James asks Eddie what he's doing, as there is yet another corpse by him on the floor. Eddie begins angrily venting, recounting all of the verbal abuse he's received from others throughout his life. Eddie claims that someone's intelligence and physical appearance are rendered meaningless once they are dead as a corpse can't laugh, and that he is willing to kill anyone who ridicules him. James tries to reason with Eddie, but Eddie's growing insanity, paranoia and insecurity causes him to translate James's reasoning into insults, especially after James unwisely asks Eddie if he's "gone nuts". Eddie's paranoia convinces him that James was always laughing at him behind his back, causing him to attack by shooting James non-fatally in the shoulder with his revolver.]
and there it's proven. he's again parroting what he's been hearing all his life. he's been called stupid, ugly, gross - things that are assumed of him because of how he looks. he's not conventionally attractive. he's a slob. he's overweight. Eddie appears to be in his late twenties and he's dressing like a frat boy. so he's trying to dress younger and be accepted and seen as cool for what he wears. none of it's working. he's a joke.
he's also immature. this doesn't help his case against bullying. Eddie's probably reduced himself socially and mentally all his life to try to fit in. maybe he's tried to be the funny guy; maybe he's tried to be the funny guy that'll drink that weird, gross glass that everyone contributed to, the guy you can tell to go dive into a dumpster to get something as a dare and everyone just laughs. Eddie's been used and manipulated. he's an idiot. he's socially stunted. his peers, and probably his home life, has been abhorrent and unacceptable, and no, he probably wasn't always like this. people and environment made him this way.
or so he likes to think.
i don't believe, even in all his shitty life, others "made" him this way. he was greatly influenced. you can point blame to a shitload of people and list off their offenses. people have a large hand in shaping another person - but it's up to that particular individual to grow outside of it, seek help, evolve, become more than their abuse and trauma.
psychosis again in the paranoid delusions. he's ramping himself up. a lot of murders happen after the murderer "psyches" themselves up - it's needed. though Eddie is rapidly spiraling, you can see the last granule of someone who may not want to do this, after all; even after he proclaimed "killing a person ain't no big deal". we don't know what Eddie was doing or thinking between then and now. maybe he was battling with himself. boasting. conjuring more scenes in his head of him taking out a whole flock of people willy nilly and ha ha, look at them, who're the idiots now? or maybe he was wrestling with what he did; how could he do that, he feels sick, no way, it doesn't feel so good after all. back and forth back and forth swing high swing low. no middle ground. one extreme or the other, and the malicious extreme has won out.
but that was a last ditch effort to see if he could bounce back. and he can't.
also, James is a fucking moron.
James is a goddamn fucking moron.
what we've deduced from James after all this time is that this guy is absolutely fried. he's not all there, he's emotionally dead, he has no idea how to handle his or anyone else's problems or emotional needs. James is callous and insensitive, and probably mostly out of emotional and general ignorance.
he's facing a guy who is on his very last shit, dancing on hot glass, waving a pistol around, spewing vitriol, clearly hateful and fragile and frenzied, and what does this absolute idiot do?
he asks Eddie if he's gone nuts. like the excerpt said, Eddie's already been skewing James's words into insults. this is the last straw. nobody wants to be accused of being crazy. that's an enormous slander. Eddie feels truly attacked there, and understandably so, because he kind of was attacked. James thinks he's sounding concerned. he's, again, shocked by Eddie's ranting and implications. he's probably scared and worried about Eddie (though likely more for himself, but this isn't a James dissection).
Eddie, however, has no ear for anything but insult. as stated, he now believes that James has been laughing at him all along, he's never been on his side, he's never cared about all that he's been through. paranoid delusions, ding ding ding! so naturally you gotta shoot a guy about it, right?
Eddie fully turns on James and makes good on his promise that he'd kill the next person who makes fun of him. and he's a bad shot even at near point-blank range. who'da thunk.
maybe he also oughta think about getting a job as a Stormtrooper.
[In a larger adjacent meat locker, Eddie continues his venting. Eddie admits he ran away after killing a bully's dog, and mentions that the dog tried to chew its own guts out as it was dying curled into a ball. Eddie mentions he had fun killing the dog, and says he was amused when he shot the bully and the bully cried more than the dog, showing that Eddie now assumes the role of despot. James asks Eddie if he thinks it's okay to kill people and says that Eddie needs help, and Eddie tells James to quit his holier-than-thou attitude.]
one of the first telltale signs of a possible future murderer or serial killer is if they tortured/killed animals in their childhood. we don't actually know this about Eddie. the only thing we do know is that he killed a bully's dog and he relished and laughed and enjoyed it, especially when it suffered so badly. that's not something that people with humanity do. that's someone who's beginning to lose all touch and interest in other peoples' welfare and lives. killing animals is the first step to killing people.
we don't now if Eddie had any reservations about it, or if he had to psyche himself up, or if it was done in a whirlwind of anger. no clue. the fact of the matter is that he killed someone's dog - an innocent thing, a life, a simple animal that was probably well loved and meant a lot to someone even if it was Eddie's bully - out of spite to HURT his bully. hmmm. no matter how you look at it, it's not a fair trade. that's depravity 101. there's nothing to spin that in his favor.
and he had FUN doing it.
and on top of that - he says he had MORE fun that the bully sobbed over his dog. Eddie viciously retaliated by killing someone's beloved dog, and they mourned, heartbroken, and Eddie had nothing for them but a cackle and sense of superiority. he'd won! take THAT!
where's the remorse? nowhere. where's the guilt? nowhere. was he justified? absolutely fucking not. he doesn't get a pass. at all. ever. cold blooded murder, enjoyment of the crime, exuberance that there was suffering.
"--showing that Eddie now assumes the role of despot." i'd say so! Eddie believes he's in total control now. he's a tyrant. James is an ant on his living room floor. he's very cocky here. and yeah, he does have an upper hand right now. James is in a meat locker with him, he's trapped, scared, disoriented by the way Eddie's voice bounces off the walls and moves around as Eddie stalks him in the meat. it's understandable that he feels like a lion playing with its food.
all this time, they're maneuvering around thick slabs of meat hanging from the ceiling. they're reminiscent of Eddie. could they also be the people he's bullied? do the amount of bodies mean anything to him? what about the covered ones? the fact of the matter here is that he's in a field of death and he's chasing James. James is probably his first live kill and he can't WAIT to taste it, so he's gotta relish it (and monologues about it, as one does. he's probably had a speech prepared for awhile).
re: dog and bully
"Then he came after me! I shot him too! Right in the leg! He cried more than the dog! He's gonna have a hard time playing football on what's left of that knee."
direct dialogue - further solidifies that Eddie's vindictive acts and subsequent satisfaction for his actions were without remorse. he removed a beloved dog and the dreams of his bully. schadenfreude? eehh. dubious territory. did the bully deserve it? no. am i defending the bully? absolutely not. but let's go on.
[James asks Eddie if he thinks it's okay to kill people and says that Eddie needs help, and Eddie tells James to quit his holier-than-thou attitude.]
James is doing some Olympic-grade repression here, but he's showing a moral compass, and actual concern that Eddie needs help. again, this is something delicate that people hate to hear. lots of people take HUGE offense to suggestions that they ought to get help. that means something's wrong with him. that HE'S wrong. that he's CRAZY. and that's bullshit, James; do you even know who the fuck you are? (and an aside: seriously, therapy is good for everyone. stop the stigma.)
"Don't get all holy on me, James. This town called you, too. You and me are the same. We're not like other people. Don't you know that?! Let's party!"
so Eddie knows something about James that James hasn't figured out yet. at some point, Eddie became aware. it's uncertain if that's self-awareness, and maybe it is, to a point. but he's also become aware of the nature of Silent Hill. something called Eddie here. he's not looking for anybody. he has no connections, other than Laura. what does he mean, "this town called you too/you and me are the same/we're hot like other people"? and then he asks him: "Don't you know that?"
doesn't he know that?
James has no idea what that means. Eddie's been handed spoilers. it seems that Eddie knows, not exactly what James has done, but got a very good idea about it. he tries to tell James that he's just like him, because they're fucked up and they've committed the same crime, they're different and they've been abused and life's put them through the wringer. James ought to know what it's like and relate, so what's with the attitude, Sunderland?
but why would Silent Hill summon Eddie? my guess is punishment. just deserts. nailing the last one in the coffin. snap, crackle, pop.
just like James.
i have a LOT more thoughts about the comparisons between James and Eddie, as well as James with Laura and Angela, buuut i sure have gone on. so i'll wrap it up.
Eddie is a victim. i will not deny that. it needs to be acknowledged properly. as i've said again and again, he's been dealt the worst hand in the house in life; he's been mistreated, demeaned, tossed around, just abused all over.
he also may very likely (highly likely) have some mental illness. anxiety, depression, paranoia, among others. mental illness is NOT to blame, NOR is it an excuse. there will be no stigma-based stereotypes and thinking about mental illness here. mental illness is devastating, and it varies WILDLY.
here, going by the assumption that Eddie may have a variation, it exacerbates his warped thinking and ties him into knots and gets him into a typhoon of distorted thoughts and behaviors. if he had gotten help at any point, there's a possibility that he could have had a really good chance at recovery and not been the person we see in game.
there's also a chance that even if he got the help, he would've found another way to retaliate that'd be violent. a bad egg is a bad egg. mental illness does not directly pin that outcome on a person.
Eddie is someone to empathize with. he has eating disorders. he has trouble socializing. he's been rejected by his peers and he's frustrated because he wants so badly to have acceptance. even the little kid who he's kind to is a huge snot and yet he still shows a good side of him to her. good. that's great to see. i think it, again, shows that he views children as innocence. he can't continue the cycle of abuse with a kid; be kind to them, they're still developing. they'll get a better chance at growing up than he did.
and that's the first and last example of empathy we see from Eddie.
empathize with him. a good character is one that you can struggle with. feel sorry for him. but don't project, don't try to excuse him and validate his behaviors for the sorry way he was treated. Eddie was a victim and he was a depraved murderer who ruined other peoples' lives and made them victims to his violent hatred. he is not a good person.
i've mentioned the grey scale before. as you get to know a person - and specifically here, a character - you discover things about them. maybe they seem like a shit person and then oh they're actually not bad, vice versa. the trouble is planting your roots on one side or the other and refusing to budge, refusing for your ideals and opinions to change. that's unhealthy as hell. that's black and white thinking. that's harmful to you and most horribly, others.
the player's opinion is SUPPOSED to swing and change. it HAS to be allowed to do that. Eddie is painted cowardly and pitiful and ohh feel sorry for him he's had a rough go. then his other side starts to emerge. maybe you don't like that he's become this. try to keep the better thoughts of him; maybe because one can relate, they see themselves in him, feel the same way (if true, please start thinking about why you feel like this and consider reevaluating things) and so you're determined to not be told otherwise. or maybe suddenly Eddie's a filthy fuckhead and cannot be excused, and won't hear another word about it.
dangerous both ways. open mindedness is needed. careful consideration exercised.
he's a very interesting character. i like Eddie. there's a lot to think about him. but he is not a hero by any means.

homesteading question for Writing Reasons (and because every time i google or look on youtube for this stuff the algorithms start reccing me alt right tradwife bullshit) would livestock guardian dogs work with silkie chickens? mostly for aerial predators? because apparently silkies are uh. very easy targets for hawks and stuff. ideally the character i am writing wants to free range and the area does actually have hawks and buzzards so i was thinking LGDs but idk if LGDs are good with chickens or what breed to go with (any breed tbh doesnt matter where they originate as long as they can do the job because the character can get animals from anywhere) ALSO they'd have to be good with kids which i don't THINK is a problem? but idk if livestock guardian dogs actually work well with chickens and if its better to just not free range silkies at all lmao i know its Just Fiction but i want there to be actual Stakes for the homestead farm and an idyllic backyard chicken scenario is not enough Tension
In a homesteading environment, you're more likely to be relying on roosters to handle your chicken safety than on dogs; dogs are more commonly used for much larger flocks.
That said, this is a great opportunity to hype up The Best Fucking Dog, the great pyrnees. If the environment allows for them (eg it's not a desert), there polar bear looking mega-pups are THE go to for chickens.
Unlike a lot of shepherding breeds that only have instinctive bonding habits with cattle, sheep, etc, the Pyrenees understands the chickens "belong to him" without much need for specific training. He's a huge and imposing animal that will 100% Fucketh Up Some Shit if he senses a threat, and absolutely will win in a fight. But his nature is restful and gentle, and he won't think your chickens are toys to be flung all over the yard, unlike hunting breeds. Indeed, many Pyrenees are so gentle and relaxed in between "going on their rounds" that chickens will come nest on the dog.
The big issue with a Pyrenees is they will try to become the pack leader. You must establish early and often that you are the boss and that the Pyr is your right hand: trusted to make his own decisions, but ultimately expected to be obedient.
This can be tricky in today's world, where the major obedience training and work options for him are learning tricks in exchange for treats. Neither of those will appeal to most Great Pyrenees. But in the context of a fantasy homestead, this is basically as ideal a behavioural profile as you can imagine, because all a Pyrenees really, truly wants in life is:
Stuff to protect with all his big old heart
Walking around space
Praise for walking around protecting his stuff
Maybe a nice view point where he can lay and watch his stuff in between walking around
Which makes them basically perfect for acting as guardians to everything from children to chickens.

Tokyo Debunker: A Review
I just finished Episode 3's storyline, which I think is pretty far in to give a proper review of this game. If you want a TL;DR version, I like the story but find the other mechanics overwhelming and not always implemented well to the point I can't exactly recommend the game in this stage. And I definitely wouldn't spend real money on it. For more specifics, keep on reading.
Story
The story is simple enough: you play as a girl who gets swept into magic shenanigans. After getting cursed by an anomaly, you are made to go to a magic high school with seven dorms. Because of another event that happened right after you got into school, you also have the ability to enhance some students' powers, so now you gotta hang out with all these boys with supernatural abilities. What is a girl to do around all these ikemen?
I've made the Twisted Wonderland comparison in joke posts already, but I will say this story seems to have more focus on the rivalry and tensions between not just the dorms but those with power and those without (this school has regular human students as well). While I love (nay, obsess) over TWST, I have to give props to Debunkers for feeling a little more fleshed out in terms of school interactions. Feel like TWST's dorm rivalry happened in Book 2 and Book 4 before being kinda brushed off. This game also goes a little more into horror territory, but not to the extent you may have seen in YouTube ads. It also isn't afraid to get graphic, but whether that makes it edgier or "edgier" is up to player discretion.
The characters are also pretty unique once you get to know them past their initial profiles when starting the game. Many of them still have secrets at this stage, and I keep coming back to this game specifically because I want to know more about them. The story, however, is where many of the positives end.
Fighting
In order to continue the story, at some points you’ll need to do cases, otherwise known as "beat up some monsters." The higher levels you reach, the more of the story you can read. That’s fair enough, and it’s a mechanic in many gacha games. However, there’s hiccups that make it harder than it should be.
There are three elements, with each character having one. Simple enough. Both your characters and the enemies have an element, and using elemental weaknesses to your advantage makes fighting easier. You know what doesn’t make that component easier? Having to memorize all your cards’ elements.
Unlike Twisted Wonderland or Magia Record, you cannot tell what element your enemy is going to be until you’re in the fight. Also unlike those games, you can’t even see the elements your cards have unless you’re in the leveling screen, meaning there’s no way to prepare your team without going back and forth between the teams menu (which doesn’t show elements), the leveling menu, and the case itself if you don’t remember your enemy’s element.
The nice thing, however, is that you can press the skip button on fights and get your outcome instantly. So while there is a grind, you don't have to watch your screen. The fights are all automatic as well, so you don't have to do anything, really. In terms of strategizing, however, the latter may not be the most beneficial, especially since, again, elements are a component in fighting. If it weren't for the fact I have to do cases to read the story, I wouldn't do cases at all. Not just for the reasons above, but also the reason below.
Leveling
Too. Fucking. Much. There are the basic components, like level and equipment, but there is so much friggin’ equipment. There's the ward card, which is a type of boost you get through summoning or getting to certain parts of the story/getting to a certain level and which can be leveled up; there's earrings, perfume, rings, necklaces, and brooches, which are equipment you get through the AFK system (more on that later) or, as I literally just learned today, through crafting; and there are guardian spirits, which you get from the spirit shop, and which can be leveled up as well. There's also gems, which you can equip to ward cards and the jewelry/perfume you craft but not the ones you earn.
A lot, right? But none of that even touches on potential (which levels specific stats of your character card but I still don't quite get), the special attributes of the ward cards, the potency grade vs level of ward cards, link bonuses for characters and ward cards, the grading system for wards, equipment, spirits-- I think these long paragraphs make my point for me. The amount of areas to keep track of is overwhelming. And save for the jewelry from AFK mode, pretty much all other items have to be summoned with some in-game currency, and in-game currency is also hard to keep track of with how many types there are.
Now, in good news, AFK mode allows you to collect a lot of the main items you need for basic leveling and a lot of the currency. Along with the more basic jewelry, you get apples (needed for leveling) and a few other items needed for leveling. But with all the other aspects to consider, it's not the most helpful thing in the world.
Gacha
Now, I've made little mention of the gacha mechanic in this gacha game. Simply put, it's atrocious. It's hard to earn gems, but that's nothing new for this game type. However, the pull rates make the grind worse. One only achieves pity at 500 pulls. Unless you buy gems with real life money, no way are you going to hit 500 on any limited run. I have 14 characters right now, enough to make two full squads with two guys to spare, but only 2 of them are SR. Like Magia Record, you don't just draw for characters, you draw for ward cards as well, which makes getting characters harder. I have more SR ward cards than characters. Maybe I'm spoiled by TWST, but I miss character pulls focusing on characters. But even with games like FGO in mind, I got better characters each pull in that game even with their criticized draw rates.
Overall
If you want a story with interesting characters, magic, and demons, I say go for it. If you don't like resource gathering games and easily get turned off mobile games by the grind, skip this one.
There's other aspects in this review I didn't go over, like the guild cats, arena, team boss battles, etc., but if all the above is too much, I'm not going to add on to the reading even further.

so i'll just list them here and i'll make them more detailed pages later, when i have time and feel confident enough to share more of the backstories i imagined :')
( warning, piss poor writing in coming i suck at writing in my native language and it's even worse in english )

Delsys - My 1rst Full release Tav, half wood elf orphan, beastmaster ranger who ended up serving as a guardian of the druidic order that found and raised her. she's a big introvert and has piss poor social skills, litteraly her only friends are her owl companion, Verbena and Trilli ( even if she feels disconected from her two very extroverted and playful friends ) she's been following the orders and lead of the druids for most of her life so she's really not confident in her new role as the leader of the bg3 party, ( she's not confident about a lot of things actually, tbh the only thing she's not insecure about is her archery skills ) and unfortunately for everyone she tends to hide those insecurities behind a tough and apathetic mask
Tumblr media
Trilli Bumbleroot - archfey warlock/bard forest gnome - lover of music, dancing, nature and village festivals, she's just a little gal who loves traveling, i'm still not entierly sure of who i want her archfey patron to be, but she took a contract when she left her village in order to have enough power to protect herself on the road. During her travels she eventually came across Delsys ( who wasn't born yet ) and Verbena's druidic order and she's been bestie with Verbena ever since and unfortunately for the other druids when the both of them put their mind together tomfoolery ensues
Tumblr media
Verbena Ferngrass - Wood elf druid - high bimbo of the same druidic order that raised Delsys ( and she kind of sees her as a little sister ) she's a big extrovert, a big flirt, she values her personal freedom and fun above all else, she thinks with her vag and is always pulling Delsys into all kind of situations™ She considers Trilli to be her best friend ( and they kiss sometimes )
Tumblr media
Vetra - Githyanki war cleric of Vlaakith - soft and curious soul who's been battered and hardened by her training as both a warrior and a priestess, now that she's in faerun she starting to feel a bit more free to be explore and connect back to the parts of her personality she had to hide behind her now no-nonsense tough persona
Tumblr media
Kastyn Firebeard - warrior/maybe paladin ( haven't decided yet) - mercenary coming from a blacksmith family, don't have much of a backstory for her yet :') just that she was disatisfied about her life in the mercenary group she was a part of, mostly because she had no control over the missions they took, and those missions sometimes went agaisnt her moral code
Tumblr media
Healstra Ssiwin - lolth drow Sorceress - Bit on the fence about her story and personality :'x i'm not sure why exactly she chose to go to the surface,i initially made the Astromancer robes mod for her, so i had in mind that she wanted to see and study the stars but idk, i'll think i'll need to document myself on drow a bit more to get better ideas :'D
Tumblr media
Cyn Clarilieu - my EA tav, basic noble human turned paladin ( is now tall and buff thanks to the full release Bodytype 3 ❤️) good aligned, annoyingly too self-righteous at times
Tumblr media
Shani Cotton - Halfling rogue - Street urchin turned criminal in Baldur's gate lower city, magpie brainded if-it-shiny-i-want-it ,quite loose morals so she doesn't care if she has to kill or maim to obtain what she wants
Tumblr media
Oriann Aleviir - my co-op tav, half drow - cringefail 8 dex blew-her-own-face-off-with-fire-spell wild magic sorcerer, terrified for her life 24/7 and will make every bad choices out of fear and gullibleness ( highly manipulable, will probably end up a squid as a result )

im reading (some of) the homestuck authors commentary. i really like reading extra details and behind the scenes about stuff.
and i like the sollux bits :] ill quote some below bc theyre kinda long (at least on mobile)
"Sollux is the tragic nerd of the group. Well okay, there's actually a lot of them. Arguably, most of the boy trolls. He's a hacker, he has a lisp, he's got the duality thing going on, psychic abilities... There's really a lot to him when you start listing it all out. Too bad he's a secondary character we hardly ever see. Sorry, Captor fans, but you can probably relate to ya boy when I say: life just isn't fair."
"Sollux, like Nepeta, is another pretty marginal character, and also like her, his metatextual profile seems to acknowledge his marginality, and incorporates it into his personality in a thematically relevant way. He always seems to be falling into the margins of the story as a second-string player, gets used as a pawn a lot, gets led around by others (going blind at one point), and generally just can't catch a damn break. As a psychic, he's aware of things on a lot of levels, such as future visions of doom and gloom, but he also seems intuitively aware of his place in the narrative as just a marginal cast member in a story containing people much more important than he is. His "woe is me," "why don't I just roll over and fucking die already" attitude seems like it's connected to this basic awareness. In other words, his resigned sense of fatalism is inseparable from his narrative impotence, and the basic truth about him is that he was built to be little more than a serviceable part of a big machine. Just like his ancestor." (😢)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Note also the exact visual callback to when Dave was staring at the blood on his hands. Same panel, just recolored. For reasons that are never made especially clear, Sollux has certain things in common with Dave. Certain speech patterns, verbal echoes, coolguy with shades look, similar apartment building setup, and callbacks like this where he stares at honey (or blood) on his hands in a way that triggers rumination on certain traumas. But Sollux's traumas are less related to a troubling guardian relationship, and more about the struggle with his own troubled brain. Particularly his bipolar issues, as well as the extreme and volatile mutant abilities he has, the most explosive of which are triggered by this honey."
"It's been noted that, due to the fact that the psychic Glub takes some time to travel through space to wherever the Condesce's ship is, this means Sollux actually died before his own ancestor (the Helmsman) did."

Brief Description:
Aiko has long, dark brown hair and wears it in a twin tail style. She has blue eyes.
She is the youngest child of Chihiro Osaka and Neji Hyuga, as well as their only daughter. Inheriting the Osaka Clan's shapeshifting abilities, she has been recognized as Chihiro's heiress, and a future head of the Osaka Clan. Despite her natural abilities and talents, she feels a sense of pressure to do well for both her sake and the sakes of her parents.
Aiko enjoys reading, especially non-fiction books. She has such a hunger for knowledge, and enjoys sharing her little fun facts with others (even when they are not necessarily wanted). Lately she has been reading anatomy texts, and is considering studying medical ninjutsu in the future. She is not afraid to speak her mind, and can be a bit too honest at times. But she always means well, and is quite a happy-go-lucky girl.
Like her brother and cousins, she has also studied Gentle Fist, even though she does not wield the Byakugan.

Shen’dralar: Ilyssae’s mother was never on fantastic terms with the other Eldre’thalas Highborne, and Ilyssae and her brother kept largely to themselves during those last couple centuries before Dire Maul was abandoned. That being said, some older Shen’dralar may remember seeing Ilyssae in passing, or have even suffered her presence when she was a petulant, brooding youth!
Field Research and Academia: Ilyssae went through a variety of teachers and learning institutions before finally clicking with her mentor Eoselle. Her magic studies these days are mostly independent, but she’s spent enough time in Stormwind, the Azuremyst isle, and Dalaran that fellow wizards and scholars might have worked with her on one thing or another however briefly!
Extended family: Naga, blood elves, high elves, Nightborne, or even the spidery fal’dorei—elves are kind of known for having evolved any which way in the aftermath of the Sundering, and Ilyssae’s family tree is full of holes after millennia of neglect. It’s entirely possible that she has a long-lost relative walking around in a different shape.
Fence-hopper: Although she is technically still an Alliance citizen, Ilyssae distanced herself from the kaldorei after the frosty reception her kind received post-Cataclysm (a decision she’s finally starting to second-guess) and is now working for a trading caravan crewed by oddballs and outcasts from both the Alliance and Horde. Maybe you’re one of her mixed-faction work acquaintances—or maybe you see her as a faction traitor and have a serious bone to pick with her.
Druid…?: Ever since coming back from the Shadowlands with golden eyes (and that’s a whole other story in itself), Ilyssae seems to have a new affinity for natural magic. However, she’s still stuck in the rigid thinking of a mage, so she’s always looking for Druids who have the patience and inclination to help her figure out this new side of her magic.
~ Out Of Character ~
IN-GAME: Ilyssae (formerly active on Wyrmrest Accord, mostly active on a private RP server these days)

Character Profile: Hime Koh
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Age: 26
Birthday: 4/15
Ethnicity: Black/Japanese
Occupation: Nail Arist
Best Friends: JiJi and Zoei
Hobbies: nail design, shopping, creating content of her nail art and designs
Fave Colors: yellow, pink
Fashion style: ganguro, y2k, 90s, crazy pattern and bright color combinations
Faves: Victoria's Secret, animal print, Hello Kitty, ganguro style and 90s/y2k style, makeup, Barbie
Sanrio Character: Hello Kitty
Bio:
Hime is the older half-sister of Hina. They share the same mother. When Hime's mother was much younger, she met a young black military man that was stationed in Japan. They got together though it was still somewhat taboo. Hime's mother eventually got pregnant with her and was with her father up until he had to be restationed. They tried to make their long distance relationship work but it eventually all fell through. Most of Hime's childhood was spent in Japan which wasnt easy for her since she was not fully Japanese and would most often get bullied in school. When she was in middle school she met some ganguro girls that stood up to her and admired her natural darker skin color. This led Hime to fall in love with the style and whimscal girly pop clothes.
Before Hime could enter high school however, her mother reconnected with her father and decided to relocate to the US. This was even harder for Hime given her very limited english. She was taking english classes (as her mother did so to get better job opportunities, and thus was able to commincate with Hime's father) but it still wasnt perfect. She was bullied then for her accent and eccentric style that was completely different than everyone elses. But she never stopped being herself, thought she did want to fit in. She decided to work on perfecting a more english style of speech to lose her japanese accent.
Eventually, Hime's parents broke up again but Hime wanted to stay in America which caused a big rift in her and her mother's relationship. Being a teenager she didnt want to move again and her father had a more stable military position where he didnt have to be restationed as much. Hime wanted to experience American life more and was able to stay with her father. Their relationship is good, although a little bit awkward since he wasnt sure how to raise a teenage girl but he tried his best to welcome her into his new (all black) family. Hime was able to learn the other side of her culture and while she still didnt completely fit in she made good connections with her cousins and step-mom who was into cosmetology. This (as well as ganguro fashion) is what lead Hime to become a nail artist.
As Hime became more independant and moved out on her own her mother slammed her with another surprise-she had given birth to another baby girl who was now a teenager. This time she was with a korean man. Her little sister Hina was a Korean student and wanted to study abroad. Their mom who was more focused on her love life decided it was a great idea to basically dump Hina at Hime's doorstep which consequently turned the older sister into Hina's premiary guardian. They struggled to get along at first (also due to the language barrier as Hina mostly spoke Korean and had not perfected english yet) given their age gap and cultural differences as well as because Hime was now essentially a "mother" and rule enforcer. They became more bonded when Hina expressed her interest in fashion and lolita and her dream of making her own lolita brand. Since then the two have been more connected and live together in the Heartbreak Heauxtel.

More StarShock Thoughts
I’ve always been a big fan of Starscream, but I’ve also always been extremely picky about shipping him with anybody. Not because I think he doesn’t fall for people easily—actually, I’m pretty sure the opposite is true and that he falls prey to limerence often—but because it took me so long to be convinced that there was anybody he could have an equal partnership with whom he would be as much of a help to as they would be to him.
So something I really love about StarShock is how much Starscream would really help Shockwave. In G1, Shockwave was one of those characters whose personality in his initial profile and in his cartoon appearance were way off from each other, so there are sort of two really disparate versions of him, but I think Starscream would really enhance his life either way:
The logical, cold, brutal Shockwave from the Marvel comics who always tries to usurp Megatron is very powerful, but he struggles to understand emotions and doesn’t play the game very well. Starscream shows multiple times that he can pick up this slack really well.
Tumblr media
(Also, I feel the need to mention how it’s fun that despite Starscream’s inner thoughts and desires, he never actually attempts to assassinate Shockwave in this continuity. A rarity for Starscream!)
Tumblr media
It’s also canon in this continuity that Shockwave’s close bond with Starscream caused Shockwave to become in-touch with emotion and compassion. Although in the Marvel comics, StarShock became so accidentally close to canon that I don’t think I’m breaking any new ground by saying this lol
On the other hand, the Sunbow cartoon version of Shockwave is completely devoted to Megatron and is the guardian of Cybertron... and is so pathetic. And I’m not hating when I say this—Shockwave is probably my favorite G1 character!  He’s the guy who called Megatron for four million years straight and then continues to call him, to Megatron’s annoyance. Shockwave has terrible aim and gets overpowered in basically every single episode he’s in and comes across as incredibly lonely and sad. There are basically no shining moments for Shockwave, and he never catches a break! Highlights include the time he destroyed his own computer trying to kill Carly or when he blasted a hole in the wall that gave the Autobots an escape route. Soundwave is the person this Shockwave wishes he could be—someone loyal who Megatron actually respects and who is actually competent and seems cold and intimidating. While Shockwave is left wringing his hands nervously like a schoolkid with a crush.
Starscream seems to know this—he’s totally right when he says Shockwave shouldn’t respect Megatron so much and that Shockwave has a lot to be humble about.
Tumblr media
And because Starscream’s treacherous streak and superiority complex are so extreme, Shockwave actually seems to develop some confidence when standing up to him! He goes behind Starscream’s back twice when Starscream tries to rope him into plots to take over the Decepticons. And on the rare occasion when Starscream isn’t trying to usurp Megatron, Shockwave and Starscream seem to work together well. See: “The Search for Alpha Trion” which is a really solid episode. They’re villains, so I liked that moment when Starscream wants to just shoot Elita and Optimus and Shockwave says they should torture them by lowering Optimus into acid instead!
Tumblr media
I think Starscream could really help prevent Shockwave from being overwhelmed, anxious, or unconfident.

While I am stilling writing up profiles and designing characters for my Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! series 'Hunted Butterfly', I decided to do a quick character lineup of my OCs that I considered to be a part of the main cast. I will have a line up for supporting characters and antagonists.
I also wrote up some basic info about them as a form of roll call to introduce them to new people.
From left to right we have;
Salem- A demon spider-monkey hybrid. Knighted warrior of his home planet and guardian of his godson Reynold Nystrom Jr./Rain, he is Gibson's biological brother. His mysterious knowledge about Dark Ones and his unique combat have helped the Hyperforce team in many ways, they are concerned about his awareness of Dark Ones as he will not elaborate on where he got this knowledge from.
Tech- Commonly going by his nickname, a very skilled mechanic and Chrome's younger brother. He usually works alongside his creator/father in his projects and helping with raising his goddaughter, Sophie Ito. His understanding of new and old technology has helped the Hyperforce team a lot with fighting the war, he and Otto are close mechanic buddies as they work on new projects together while also having a mutual concern for Chrome albeit for slightly distinct reasons.
Chrome- A fully robot monkey mercenary as well as the chosen wielder of the Dark Reaper who fights the Krivark on his home planet. He is Tech's older brother and primary guardian of his goddaughter Sophie Ito; he later becomes Otto's boyfriend. He works to find the answers to many secrets relating to his home but also Eki's past, secretly having a feeling she's more important than what was originally thought to be.
Skyper- The last monkey created by the Alchemist and later became a Formless-Monkey Hybrid due to Skeleton King; he is Antauri's biological younger brother. He's very unique in not just biology but also in his general personality, at times he's mysterious even to himself. These days, he's acting as Eki's self-proclaimed guardian/protector.
Eki- A bionic human girl who was rescued from her 'creator' by the Hyperforce which after some time she becomes a member of the team and Chiro's foster sister. She is learning about life and freedom while adapting to her powers, thankfully for her she has a good support group in her growing development.
Amy- The botanist of the Hyperforce, using her knowledge to help Gibson craft cures and keep the team safe from dangerous specimens on unknown worlds. She is also Sparx's younger biological sister; She's probably one of the very few who can stop everyone else from killing Sparx but will have her moments where she wants to 'kill' him. While not an occasional fighter, she can hold her own when needed.
Azure Spear and Ruby Mace- A pair of monkeys who are very much in love to the point where they got married, they live on the same planet as Chrome and work various part-time jobs to keep themselves occupied. Azure is the peacekeeper while Ruby is the warrior, they in a way act as unofficial advisors to the Hyperforce with Ruby more of the fighting type mentor while Azure is the more emotional/mental advisor. They have a good relationship with the Hyperforce team while being old friends of Salem, Chrome and Tech.
Octavia- A monkey-sea siren/mermaid hybrid and the adopted daughter to the current queen of Atlantia, an underwater kingdom that resides in the Shuggazoom ocean. She acts as the expert of sea life and later becomes Gibson's girlfriend, through her Gibson has learned to relax more and accept the concepts of 'magic' better. She's close to the female members of the team and has a good relationship with the males, Sparx is protective of her's and Gibson relationship.
Coco- A young female monkey created by an exiled Veron Mystic member and raised as not just his student but also his daughter in a small pocket dimension. Other than the Power Primate, she had light and healing powers. She eventually becomes Antauri's girlfriend (And to Skyper's delight, his sister-in-law). She's honestly struggling to adapt to Shuggazoom but she knows that she'll be ok with the rest of the Hyperforce team with her.
Kaneki- One and the only surviving prototype of the monkey team who later became a part of the Super Robot as a part of its subconscious and in control of it. When he is discovered and his new body is completed with the updated nano bots, he is fully trusted with controlling the Super Robot when needed and acts as a secondary advisor and guardian to the whole team. It is heavily implied that he and Antauri have developed a form of psychic connection due to the events of 'I, Chiro' while he's lowkey worrisome about Chiro's future.
That's it for now, hopefully I will have written up the profiles for other characters as well.

Gentle LFRP
Tumblr media
"Then, everything changed when the WoL attacked the Great Gubal Library..."
The Basics --
Name: Rofan "Lesrekta" Age: Difficult to answer Race: "Veena, Viera" Gender: Technically genderless, but the female form truly is marvelous (she/they) Sexuality: Love At First Sight except there's always someone new Server: Leviathan
Short Synopsis --
A product of Sharlayan research, Rofan is but one of many denizens that call the Great Gubal Library home. Their present form is little more than a glamour, the visage that of a familiar figure from long before the Garlean invasion. Spun from words of ardor and admiration, they are an amalgam of the greatest literary works pertaining to love in all its many forms – Rofan is the very concept itself. After the library’s depths were unceremoniously plundered and her guardians slain by those that would call themselves the Warriors of Light, raiders continued to darken their doorstep, pilfering the vaults and potentially endangering the world with the “treasures” that have begun to circulate. Thus a small platoon of her remaining wardens have left the isolation of her hold, to fulfill their duties – detaining those that have escaped, or kill them trying. Lest they too awaken… But Rofan faces an even greater threat on the Outside: living. Their worldviews are constantly at odds with the reality of the rest of the world, and now they must contend with the fact that they’re not even real; where could a mere caricature possibly fit in the colorful tapestry of life?
About the Operator --
♦ As I’m 28, I would prefer to interact with anyone 21+; if that is not you, please do not perceive me. Everyone else, perceive me gently, I’m shy. ♦ I’m not new to FFXIV, but I am coming back from about a 2 year hiatus, and even then the farthest I made it was the end of the main story of Stormblood. I’m starting over from scratch with Rofan. Specifically so I can run through Heavensward again. I think you all know why. If you find yourself on Leviathan for whatever reason and you see me running around, feel free to say hi although I’m sorry if I run away right after. As a character, Rofan is infinitely more bold than I am, I swear. ♦ I haven’t RPed in a while so to call this an RP blog feels like a disservice to all of you. But I’ve got over a decade of it under my belt for what it’s worth! Honestly, I just wanted to share my character with others since I don’t have anyone else to talk to about this in my immediate friend group. And if anything comes out of it, neat! More than anything, I just want something to think about while I’m at work battling spotty wi-fi. ♦ SERIOUSLY, ASK ME ABOUT MY BOOK DEMON LORE I’VE GOT A WHOLE PAGE DEDICATED TO IT ON MY NOTES APP LIKE HOW THEY FEED ON AMBIENT AETHER BUT ROFAN ENJOYS LOVE LETTERS FOR DESERT – ♦ I should add I have no hard limits so I kindly ask that you communicate your’s as I would prefer to avoid needlessly upsetting you. ♦ I’ll do a more serious full scale profile at some point for Rofan as well as a carrd (no but seriously, where was this back in my RP heyday because this is rad as hell), when I’m feeling braver about dipping my toes back in the water.

Chronoa congratulated her for her heroics, much to the dismay of Starburst, to the point where she gave her a high priority mission.
Starburst was entrusted the task of watching over a new world created with the help of others; Gamindustri V2. At first she had no idea who any of these people were, but deep down she knew that this was the responsibility she was waiting for. She took the job, and is now their Guardian Angel so to speak.
Powers: A mixture of Strike and Ki Blasts, Starburst is a variety fighter, able to fight with physical and mental strengths at once. She often incorporates a mixture of unarmed and armed combat; sporting a Blade she crafted herself. Of course, she learned a lot of moves from various different individuals who have appeared in Conton City over time, including:
Toppo (Destructive Fracture)
Jiren (Menacing Flare)
Goku Black (Divine Lasso, Divine Retribution, Sudden Death Beam)
Tapion (Brave Sword Slash)
Majin Buu (Super Vanishing Ball)
Cooler (Hyper Movement)
Transformation: Purification
Tumblr media
Discovered in the midst of a Parallel Quest gone rogue, Starburst has the ability to undergo a transformation known as Purification; transforming her into a Pure Majin. (Kid Buu)
When in this form, she is unpredictable, rage incarnate, and her moveset changes:
Pearl Flash
Vanishing Ball
Quick Sleep
Bouncing Buu Buu Ball
Planet Buster
Teleporting Vanishing Ball
Angry Shout
However, it isn't without it's risks. In this state, all manner of cautiousness and willpower evaporates. She becomes an unpredictable, reckless, dangerous and uncontrollable force of rage, attacking anyone in sight and adopting Kid Buu's personality. In which case, she prefers everyone treat her as a target and knock her out.
