sometimes i can't believe how fucking kind the hot priest is. with every single person he meets, he's like "I'm gonna talk to this person and ask questions and answer and offer help and say thanks, just in case no one else is kind to them today, i'm gonna make a difference" and it totally made a difference for fleabag
he had affection to give and boy, she was starving

Luffy x Law is such a fun and hilarious ship with so much potentials for hijinks and some drama, because you're not only pairing a book dumb idiot with an intellectual genius, but also pairing one of the most emotionally intelligent characters with one of the most emotionally constipated characters.

hi saints 💋💋💋 freddie anon:)
ive got smth for you!! evan and pandora- how long do they share a room? i feel like at some point they’d think they want separate rooms but then just immediately hate it and go crawling back
i think evan & pandora would share everything (a room, a bed, their clothes, etc) far into adulthood, perhaps a little beyond what's considered appropriate. this is most interesting to me in the context of rosekiller— bc of his sister, evan is extremely used to the kind of quiet domestic symbiosis that comes with living with a partner.
it's funny because EVAN is the socially stunted, friendless one. and yet he does all the little things without thinking twice: always grabbing a second mug, leaving a space for barty, predicting what he needs without thinking. evan might even be pathological with it, always subconsciously making room for his missing Second Half.
it's a really staggering experience for canon barty, who grew up alone & with profound abuse. having someone in his Private (Domestic) Space is a major adjustment for him, but evan is sooo attuned to making room for him (because of pandora) that it becomes something barty's capable of. i think about barty, who had to sneak around specific floorboards to get a glass of water from the kitchen. i think of evan, who leaves an extra one out for him without thinking.

Jesse and Saga do remind me a little of each other and i think they’d get along well. Whenever i remember Jesse insisting on fixing the problem in the foundation herself over Emily’s suggestion, it immediately makes me think of Saga telling Casey that she’s going to make things right after denying his suggestion that she could be affected by the story too, and vice versa.
The thing is, they’re not even wrong about being able to lead and manage the situation (to some degree), but the reaction still comes from their fears and anxiety: Jesse not wanting to fail more people and being independent from a young age with only Polaris as support; Saga being afraid she’s neglected helping her loved ones from being wrapped up in the case and questioning her skills as a detective.
It’s not until Saga addresses these that she can navigate the dark place, like Jesse taking control (haha) of her mind when she was vulnerable to the hiss. This doesn’t make those insecurities or fears vanish, but it’s a good and healthier start to not be consumed by negative feelings. This is a long way of saying I think they could relate a lot to each other even if their personalities are completely different—the warmth they have towards their power (Polaris and being a seer), love for silly jokes (and cats!), and their dedication to people they love.

The thing is that despite how much IDW1 Optimus sucks at times and that he has no future vision, there really wasn't anyone who could have done his jobs better. Being the Autobot Prime during wartime against the Decepticons and their galactic conquest required of him to be a genuinely good soldier and fiels commander who could go against Megatron by being unpredictable, defending organics with unshakeable resolve, withstanding the moral injury without going completely morally bankrupt, being charismatic and serving as a figure of morale so that everyone else doesn't become his worst selves... I mean he didn't do the best job at all this at every time, but who else is there?
Prowl knows very well he doesn't work as a figurehead and also if you thought the Autobots were bad already... Rodimus would suck for reasons I have already explained. Bee can be a good leader after some character development but he only works as that for peacetime. Springer would suck. Impactor? Don't make me laugh. Kup? I mean we could do worse. Arcee would probably be a good fiel commander and can totally go against Megatron but she also needs character development and nonexistent people skills, who would follow her? If Ratchet loses the moral highground of his job always being saving people he will break. The hero worship that leads to Primus Apotheosis would disqualify everyone with it because they do not understand the reality of what this entails.
Thunderclash is perfect in every way tho, he could probably do it.
Optimus is kind of a perfect storm to do this one thing which only feeds to his myth and the myth of a Prime, which was never a gold idea even when Optimus does it, and it also feeds his sense of hyperresponsibility. But also it's he supposed to just stop??

Very normal about the fact that you've suggested Rose twirling his hair as a nervous trait. Because it's both silly as a gesture but 100% makes sense, down to that one loose strand being curlier than the rest of his hair because he bothers it so much <3
YESYESYESYES hehehe its his built in stim toy. :3c i adore thinking about his hair twirling so much!!! i think its not just something he does when he's nervous, it's also the physical equivalent of saying "like" or "uhm" for him,,, the hair noodle is Essential!!!!!
