what's your opinion about ShuKemi?

I first read this sleep-deprived so I didn‘T realize this was about a different pairing. Oops. Have their art anyway, they are very cute and probably one of the most realistic couples in DC, my favorite part of movie 25 for sure. Also the story of how they first met was super adorable. 😔 ❤️ I don‘t really have an opinion on them? 😂 Akemi probably won‘t come back. Akai x Curry seems to be his strongest pairing atm (though I do enjoy how he manages to enrage Amuro by just breathing, what a feat)

          yakumo shinonome liked to tease, he noticed. something that kaius, one of his old, fallen comrades used to do but to a lesser extent. way lesser, actually. yakumo shinonome’s teasing though— it was just on another level of annoyance. he grasped at any chance he could to tease anyone and everyone about literally anything and everything— but he was mostly adamant on teasing louis amamiya, which, more often than not, would rope cael into the whole shenanigan as well and he wasn’t sure if he appreciated that. cael thought it was a strange obsession, if anything, even stranger fascination with eliciting responses from cael himself no matter how many times they failed to achieve the impossible.  

          such relentless efforts were spent on meaningless comedies instead of saving the world like he once so proudly announced in their first meeting. cael was starting to believe that only louis was dead serious on this ‘build a better world’ operation— even he himself wasn’t interested at all. ah, no matter. he cared little for these ridiculous antics that clearly were an indication of yakumo’s boredome, and without a doubt, he wouldn’t give the atlas-coded revenant the satisfaction that he so damn desired. 

          mismatched eyes finally shifted from the shit-eating grin back to his current task at hand. half-gloved fingers quickly worked through the buttons like winds. he had done this a lot before— so much that it had slowly begun to manifest into his daily routine and became a ritual. waking up (not that he slept), preparing for battles and— fixing louis’s clothes. he didn’t understand what drove him to commit such action because he knew how bizarre it must be, he was just doing what his insticts were screaming at him to do. and that was buttoning up louis’s otherwise exposed chest. as if to challenge his dedication though, louis was wholeheartedly fixated on letting those said buttons loose every time— to which cael found mildly... adorable.   

         while reattaching those stubborn buttons, once again failing to perceive louis’s bashful yet flustered manners, cael did think about yakumo’s question seriously. what else would he be looking at? well, he would look at the confident glint in louis’s eyes, always so bright and full of determination whenever he spoke of his far-fetched dream. he would look at louis’s shiny lips, moving temptingly with the flow of words, sometimes even shaping into the softest of a smile. he would look at louis’s little hand. the size difference always did something to his heart that he couldn’t exactly name what, but it definitely was not unwelcomed. and he would look at louis’s nose. cute and dainty, just like how louis was. he would look at all of these things, but he wouldn’t utter one word of it. 

          after all, he would like to keep this small secret to himself.
