adam and lawrence standing opposite one another for the first time once they’ve both recovered enough and adam losing his mind a little ‘cause yeah, he’s seen lawrence, he’s stalked him, camera in hand and spent what felt like a lifetime chained up across the room from him, he’s had hours in his darkroom, music blaring as photo after photo of lawrence stares back at him, he’s been up close and personal as lawrence promised to come back, as adam begged him not to leave and he’s sat next to lawrence’s hospital bed during their joint recovery. he’s seen lawrence, sure. but only from a distance, only lying down. so when he’s suddenly stood a few feet in front of the guy? when lawrence moves closer, still, and adam realises that he has to tilt his head up to look at him? when he realises that lawrence has to bend a little when he wants to murmur something to adam, just low enough that no one else will hear? when lawrence comments on their height difference for the first time, teasing but not mean, well .. yeah. maybe adam realises he has a little thing for it. or whatever

Luffy works as security for a fight club. It is illegal and is located in the poorest and most remote part of the city, where the police have no interest in going. The problem is, while the job pays well and beating up drunks or competitors who break the rules is fun, things can also get ugly and he ends up getting injured.
The best option to treat these injuries is to go to the 24-hour clinic on the other side of the city, a few minutes from Luffy's house.
That's where Law works, he's a grumpy doctor with a history of terrible insomnia who always takes the most godless shifts at the most ungodly hours. Luffy is a very popular visitor and at this point Law has stopped asking questions, knowing he won't get satisfactory answers. Plus, the guy didn't seem like he was lying when he said he was a security guard and not a gangster.
Still, especially with the number of visits and the growing crush, Law can't help but worry. A security guard shouldn't get hurt that much. They play this game where Luffy comes in hurt, Law scolds him and treats him anyway and then they flirt, for a few minutes before Law has to see another patient for a few months, without ever going any further than that.
The fun ends when the next time Luffy goes to the clinic looking for stitches, he doesn't find Law. Not the time after that and not the next. In fact, the next time he sees Law, the doctor is being dragged, chained and bruised, into the fighting ring, pitted against an opponent twice his size.

This is jumping the queue bc some really cool people reblogged my last post of Corey and they escaped containment.
Updated sidestep design perpetual WIP
Sidestep days vs retribution. They're slowly reacquiring their self expression. Next book will probably be the full return of the scene/punk look
Bonus Corey sans most of their clothing to show off their tattoos under the cut. CW for healed SH scars
Yes that is Ortega's bedroom yes I half assed it. I drew this background in my car at work when it was like 110 degrees idgaf

If Lek was in Shadow of Kyoshi
Lek, pale: *looking around* Spirits above and below!
Rangi: ???? What is it Lek???
Lek: Everyone here looks like you, Rangi.
Rangi: That's a little racist.
Lek: No, I mean everyone looks pissed.
Rangi, self-conscious: N-no one is pissed! This is just how we always look.....
Lek, whispering to Kyoshi: I think we should leave, this place is a total powder keg.

I'm not including a situation where someone might be injured because in that case I'm thinking the bed goes to them by default or they are nominated for it. anyone who wants to be chatty goes to join the living room floor gang.
What are your thoughts and headcanons? Do you have thoughts on how the boys tend to approach assigning beds in inns? Who do the chain choose to sleep near when camping and why? What are their dynamics like when settling down for the night and getting ready for the day?
In "Mirror Vs Open Closet Door: Fight!" by Gintrinsic (here) Four refers to the chain's decision on how to split up between inn rooms as the "Link-per-room ratio" which I find very funny. He, Sky, and Time also talk about their thought process behind why they do or don't want to sleep in a room with some of the others which I find fun and interesting.
So! If you have thoughts and want to share them! *gestures to the post!*
