God I wish we knew more about what specifically was going thru Jason’s head after his fight with Bruce, because essentially his entire worldview has been collapsed. He’s spent the past however many years believing that Bruce is ultimately responsible for the pain that he feels, that the entire Batman thing does nothing but harm others, and that the only way he will “get better” is by killing Bruce.

Finding out that he was apart of Jokers plan all along, and that no, Bruce actually DOES care about him and regret what happened, and actively WANTS to make it right by working together with him has to be insanely difficult for him. By the time he shows back up in game to paint the red hood symbols and get ready to save Bruce, he’s figured out that Scarecrow is going to finish the plan and kill Bruce and that he actually…doesn’t want that. And from there on now Jason has to spend time trying to figure out who he is again.

Not only did Joker put ideas in Jason’s head, but Jason also has spend the past few years with one goal in mind, kill Bruce. As far as I know he hasn’t spent any extra time on a side gig or playing some video game that he likes lol. So he needs to find himself again and figure out how to trust his thoughts and ideas and try to free himself from the joker.

#I’m the dlc he’s obviously gotten himself a new outfit and is working essentially as a pre n52 red hood. though from the way Babs and Bruce #talk to Jason in game I feel he’d have a slightly better relationship with them #and by better I don’t mean besties with them or anything but that they are more sorta…tolerant of him?#like I think Arkham Bruce is weirdly more understanding of his villains and is capable of having a lot of sympathy for them and this #clearly extends to Jason given how even after all the fear gas and militia Bruce’s response to Jason is just: ur my son and I want to help #and Barbra is very willing to argue with Jason over what he’s doing but also still sympathetic and wants him to come home.#so anyway I think they are reaching out more with offers of help and genuine worry for him. but not only do their ideas of Justice conflict #but Jason is still Goong Through It and can’t bring himself to fully trust them again #and he also needs to figure himself out without any outside influence #and btw none of this is me saying Arkham Bruce is better than comics Bruce i think they’re both wonderful and interesting and I like both #Bruce’s responses to Jason in utrh and in ak. they r awesome and cool and interesting.#and they both suit the story they are in #I was kinda just rambling through this and idk what my point is 👍 but I love Arkham knight Jason #arkham knight #dc #my post

Children (~ten years old)

Late teens - Early adults (18-21). I know this one is close to their current versions but I thought I’d draw them as they are right before my story’s timeline. Plus, it was fun to reference older designs I had for them.

#i think it’s time i go back to therapy #i keep having recurring nightmares about my ex best friend #or dreams where she reaches out to me. and explains why she cut me out #backstory. in high school had a lesbian toxic situationship with my #bestie. THEN i had another one. which kinda overlapped? the first one was open but also just messy #anyways. jade and i were like together for a year. then she got a boyfriend one day and i had a breakdown #it happened just after high school and i was sooooo … unwell. wasn’t out to my family felt like i was gonna die etc etc #(this is all pre dnp btw) anyways next year i found dnp. a couple months later she broke up with her bf #and we sorted dated for a while (this whole time we’d been just friends and i was still not really over it but hiding it)#and then she dated ANOTHER guy. they broke up and she had a breakdown and moved 9 hours away. i went #to visit her for a month. we like kinda dated again then and i thought we could make it work. then 2020. no travel #so she started dating a guy. didn’t tell me. even though we spoke every day. she moved in with him #then she breaks up with him mid 2021. i started dating my gf. but Jade was clingy and it was awkward #she started dating a sketchy guy who was homophobic. i went and visited her a few times #start of 2023 she tells me she wants to make more of an effort cause he didn’t like her friends so she cut everyone out. then she ghosted #in feb 2023. we had tickets for #mcr in march. i had to text her cause she’d blocked me on messenger and said im going to the concert whether she’s there or not #she said ‘yeah no worries! you can take someone else in my place too 😎’ she used that fucking emoji #and I haven’t spoken to her since. I think she quit her job . and that guy was not a nice man #so I still worry about her #writing this all down makes me realise she was a bitch and I deserve better #but I just want closure. it isn’t fair she replied so casually to my text when I said ‘you’ve blocked me’#it isn’t fair she HAS MY SIGNED COPY OF DANS BOOK #anyways. #this is a good one of these kinds of posts I swear #just wanna do a shoutout to my bestie even though I know he won’t see this #but I love him and feel like hyping him up anyway and don’t wanna make a whole actual post about it and annoy everyone #anyway yesterday I took my car in for an oil change and tune up thing and didn’t know how long it was gonna take so I set up a ride #with bestie back to my mom’s place if it was gonna be a while but then they said it’d only be like an hour and a half or so unless there was #actually something wrong with my car in which case we’d just discuss it and go from there. so bestie picks me up at the car place and I tell #him that and say he doesn’t have to stay and I can just wait there at the place if he’s busy but he says nah he gonna hang with me. asks if #I’m hungry and wanna get lunch and I hadn’t eaten yet so it worked out. went to the good Mexican place in town and order in their drive thru #I ask if he wants me to cash app him some money to cover my share and he very aggressively says ‘oh hell no’ which was honestly adorable and #really sweet. goes on to say ‘girl you know you don’t need to worry about money’ which is also super sweet and makes me feel all weird and #wiggly inside cause I’m not used to people being kind to me in that way or just buying me shit just because. and he’s always doing that kind #of stuff too just paying for my food or sending me money if I pick stuff up for us or whatever. dude got bucks at least good for him. but #yeah anyway so we got the food and then he went to a gas station to get us drinks then parked and ate and hung out with me until my car was #ready to go. even offered me money to cover the cost for the car if I needed anything major done and I could just pay him back little by #little. thankfully car is all good but his sentiment was well taken and much appreciated. gave me a big hug before we parted ways as he #usually does and bro gives the best hugs for real they’re so instantly comforting and you really feel the love they make me so happy. and he #even is gonna help me put together a new desk and chair at my house so I’ll have a place to do schoolwork at home and finally setup my tv in #my room. dude does so much for me and will then thank me just for hanging out with him as if I did anything special at all #this man deserves the whole fucking world and I’d do anything for him. love him so much #so ye that’s my hype post for my boy cause I just had to brag about him somewhere and get my feelings out #personal
