his ability is called lucy locket! i actually came up with the ability's function first, and then i found that it fit pretty well. basically its a pocket dimension accessed via the users pockets. so far it has infinite storage, but whatever is added or removed at the present moment has to have been able to fit in the pocket originally. so you cant add/remove a large waterbottle from tiny jean pockets, for example. i like to think it only works when august himself pulls something out or puts something in. so. yknow. "not a penny was there in it, only ribbon round it". hehe

the cargo shorts!!! so obviously to best use his ability august needs something with rather large pockets, but i didn't know how to add those in. initially i wanted to go with some tights or normal slacks and have him wear a hoodie, but it was kind of... eh? so i tried cargo pants but those didn't work either. so then i tried on shorts and i Realized what needed to be done fhdjjws

knee high socks! i asked what how silly we should get with them and eni said knee highs and nobody said ankle with silly patterns so i combined the two! i think the combination is really funny.

hey not weird at all! triptracks very literal, theyre on a trip and multiple people are tracking them down & thats all ahah

paperteeth made more sense in the pre canvas version of paperteeth in which a character called avery (who is not the same as avery grey theyre different characters they just have the same name and aesthetic bc im lazy/ i could go on and on abt why putting avery1 in the role of mc was a bad idea and why that characters returned to a side character if they even still exist at all) who used to be a vampire hunter returns to work at a vampire hunting organisation to do their paperwork. shenanigans didnt ensue bc it lasted 6 pages before i decided to overhaul it with new characters, plot etc. theyre not very alike at all, only chars that cross over are alderich. anyway now its more so omg no these teeth r just paper.. but it doesnt rly have much meaning compared to before (should probably have given paperteeth a different name lol)

- leo and donnie will take off their respective prosthetics as jokes often. leo will offer someone a hand and detach his arm. donnie has thrown their leg at people. more than once. theres compilations of it. theres an unexplained no context video on leos twitter of donnie in the living room, detaching their leg, opening a hidden compartment and then proceeding to shake out nearly a thousand fake plastic spiders along with a truly uncountable amount of batteries. the video ends with donnie snapping their head towards the camera and shouting "DON'T REVEAL MY SECRETS DIPSHIT" before lunging at leo

- theres multiple videos of the disaster twins being a disaster as raph slowly approaches from behind them, scruffs them like cats and then flings them over her shoulder like particularly unruly sacks of flour. theres also compilations of her holding her siblings under their arms like cats. donnie seems to be the most receptive to it, bc they could be angrily ranting snd then raph picks them up and they just. dangle. pupils dilated and content to be carried off.

- theres a video of raph gnawing on an impressively large tree branch in the woods, illumimated only by a phone flash. she looks almost guilty in it.

- mikey took a video of his three aquatic siblings in the rain and titled it "turtle zoomies"

the video shows raph contentedly soaking in the rain, tail swishing in a particularly deep puddle. leo and donnie are chasing each other at inhuman speeds while chirping. raph looks at the camera and smiles before donnie runs into her, to which she then decides it's time for cuddles. leo runs at the camera and the video ends.

- donnie showed up on leos song cover channel and covered both world is mine (obviously) but also to the hellfire by lorna shore, metal screams and all. people have begged them to make their own song cover channel but they just said "why make my own when i can just steal my brothers?"

ppl are being ridiculous about pepper’s weight and its annoying bc people dont know what theyre talking about. i know im on anon so of course i recommend u take this this with a huge grain of salt, but i just want to share with u you, as a veterinarian, what we look for in a cat that is at an ideal body weight. you should be able to feel pepper’s ribs without applying a lot of pressure. if you have to push through several centimeters of fat to feel his ribs, then he would be considered overweight. if you want to do any research, i would suggest looking up “feline body condition score” for a more accurate way to gauge his weight. that being said, the biggest health concerns we have with overweight kitties are diabetes and arthritis, NOT heart disease. its hard to tell in pictures on the internet so i really cant say whether or not hes fat, but i would definitely recommend taking steps for him to be at an ideal body condition if need be

ik this trick i’ve done it a few times and i can feel his ribs easy! the only health condition he has is allergies and his last check up around last year he was the same size and they said hes fine and that he hasa big ass head and eyes, i’m mostly playing around bc ik he’s chunky but i already know he’s not at a dangerous weight and hasn’t gone up or down in like two years and a half (he’s gonna be 4 soon) i just don’t want ppl freaking out about him bc i purposefully take pics where he’s sitting funny and looks fat as fuck he’s incredibly active n only has two meals a day with vitamins occasionally and is fine yall i promise🤍

A huge chunk of my lore comes from make-it-up-as-i-go-along then throwing away or glueing together what i do and dont like, since my husband really likes Ess her character has a bit more development. So I'll start with Lyssa.

Lyssa found "sanctuary" in cannibal town beforw hazbin hotel, she lived in hell since the 80s. She's socially anxious, has ptsd, and depression. She suffered from these disorders in life and being a woman in the 80s. She was taken as seriously as mentally ill women during that time would be. She wasn't mentally well enough to keep up with friends and her family wasnt very open minded. In her early 20s she loses her fight and commits suicide only to end up in hell because suicide is a sin- 😭

Lyssa is a girlfailure and a hopeless romantic. She's not emo, she just kinda looks like that. Realtively she's very kind and nurturing and often stays in places where that behavior isn't treated so hostile. (If not for Alastor and Rosie that bitch would be dead, like, hell would have ate her alive)

She had feelings for Alastor of course like everyone does, but he just patted her head and said the right fellow will surely come along. Rosie has helped Lyssa understand social cues and emotions, as Lyssa often found herself in a pattern of falling for anyone remotely kind to her and kept getting her poor lil heart broke.

Right now she resides in Hazbin Hotel, she adores Charlie and would adore Emily if they ever got the chance to meet. Lyssa's redemption is gonna be interesting because the cornerstone of her case is "She didnt fucking do anything wrong??"

Estelle (hes gender fluid) is hellborn, his prince, Felkivae has a domain of drugs, controlled substances, Felkivae is basically the CEO of big pharma, its where hospitals in hell get their medicene and good shit and yes Felkivae's workers do in fact distribute crack into the pride ring because they think its funny. This is Felkivae by the way.

Estelle lived with them, and ess is a very unruly chaotic bitch to deal with. He's antisocial and narcissistic, given a lot of it is trauma induced defense mechanisms from living with Felkivae being a crackhead. Felkivae got sick of seeing their consequences come out through one of estelle's tantrums one day and sold her soul contract to valentino for 62 cents. (felkivae has the coins framed on the wall in their room because they think its funny)

And just to clarify, theyre not related. Felkivae made Ess and many of their feline-based creature servants from like the ground and magic and shit. Estelle is about as much related to Felkivae as a cake you bake being related to to you. A cake you have full total control over and will mule drugs for you for v-bucks.

Felkivae revoked Estelle's goetia status. (If she'd kept it, then she'd have superceded the Vees in hell's heirarchy and all shed have to do is walk out of pride to avoid Val lol)

If Ess proves he can 'grow up (hes almost 30) and prove himself responsible enough' he can leave and get his title back which will void the contract. But by the time that happens the little idiot will have stockholmed himself with the vees. And adapted to his situation, she's learned to get back control of Her life she has to control valentinos.

which she does overtime by being a good kitty and kissing everyones ass a lot, (like how female hyenas move up in ranks) at the beginning ess and val's relationship was definitely 'oh ess you poor thing' but it quickly grows into 'wow! youre both awful people and deserve each other'

ess is also in no means is to get between voxval, in fact i think bullying my ocs is fun (lyssa is a sweetheart and itd be cruel but kicking ess down a flight if stairs is morally correct, its like hell's equivalent to returning a shopping cart)

i could see vox and val making her walk back home in the rain from a movie they went to go see but its okay bc when she got back hime she bit a chunk out of their faces like the florida bath salts guy

essie really loves the vees, (fucking hilarious to say that after my previous statement) shes flirted with velvette before (who i hc as a lesbian) but vel laughs and thinks shes weird bc ess is already fucking around with her gay dads so vel would simply verbally destroy her ego for being older than 25 then give ess an outift that doesnt make her look like such an unwashed tramp

theres also like a side plot where ess ends up having a kid from valentino (a blind moth girl named perdita) who ess hides from him and PLEADS with adam to take to heaven to get her away from val

how adam and ess have a relationship is DLC lore i might explain that one later if theres a care

realistically and truthfully valentino would have adored and loved his daughter (perdita) but given how he used to treat ess she was very much afraid of what hed do.

(imagine a little moth/kitten underneath adams robe and it goes MYEHH really loud and st peter goes 'what was that' and adam just says 'shut up')

that side arc with ess and adam is really nice though sorry to disrespect it by throwing up a poorly described synopsis

adam was the best awful dad who stepped up he handed perdita over to an elderly archangel named Nan (whose a lil out of it mentally but would protect perdita with her life) and she often hadoukens adam with holy light through a hole in the house because he does shit like let this baby drive him home in flying horse drawn chariot when hes too drunk too drive (perdita is 4)

one time for her birthday he bought her ribs and a 6 pack of beer saying shed be the coolest 4 year old and Nan dented him with a frying pan over it

I’m also very excited about the cliff jump and I really really want Kie to at least panic a little when he doesn’t resurface immediately. like you can’t tell me she won’t have ptsd from the coastal venture.
