Modern werewolves (Novus Lykanthropos) are descendants from infected of Feralytosis, they're highly intelligent and sociable.

They live in separate underground communities from other creatures to avoid confrontation due to the discrimination and ignorance towards them.

Modern werewolves have infectious glands beside the main canines and they can spread the Feralytosis, due to their pacifist beliefs they actively avoid the propagation of this disease, since they're isolated this is easier to acomplish.

crunching on the "No, it doesn't read my mind, it just knows me really well" line from SC, as the answer to ART's casual ability to sometimes respond to Murderbot's *narration.*

I feel like it happens a few times in AC and NE, and I always thought it was because either MB's narration is based off a log it keeps somewhere that ART has access to, or it somehow communicates the thoughts to ART in some feed-brain weird-bot-shenanigans way. But no, it's just that ART knows Murderbot that well. ART just understands how Murderbots brain works and knows where it's thoughts are most likely to go.

One more thing ! Kinda related to the topic of Vox and Alastor again, before I go back to sleep for a lil while then I'm gonna come back and maybe post some headcanon-y things about Alastors thoughts/feels on other characters according to me. TBH, I'll probably leave this up as an actual HC post on its own too... But yeah I wanted to say: I think the suggestion from canon is and as far as my headcanon goes regardless, Alastor doesn't actually "hate" modern technology because he doesn't know how to work it or can only like things from his time period or whatever.... My Alastor's dislike/avoidance of modern technology is because of Vox. You'll notice Lucifer makes an odd remark about the television, too, cause I think the thing to consider here is that in hell TV isn't just TV, its depicted as a supernatural force of its own, and Vox is the one with complete dominion over it, if not responsible for it. Theres a TON of really fun dark / psychological / horror tropes associated with TV / Media that are very real in hell in the Hellaverse :

The "Brainwashing Box": Portraying television as a tool for mind control, where characters become deeply influenced or manipulated by what they watch, often with sinister agendas behind the programming.

The "Glowing Screen of Doom": Depicting excessive television viewing as a harmful addiction, leading to isolation, neglecting responsibilities, and mental health problems.

The "Twisted News Cycle": Exploring how news media can manipulate information, presenting biased narratives or creating sensationalized stories to control public opinion.

The "Surveillance Society": A narrative where television is used as a tool for mass surveillance, monitoring people's actions and thoughts.

The "Television Demon": A supernatural trope where a malevolent entity appears through the television screen, preying on viewers.

All the above is pretty much explicitly applied to Vox that we've so far seen and he is LITERALLY the television demon. I'm also pointing particularly to the surveillance society trope because we also EXPLICTLY saw this and we get the very clear idea that Vox quite literally stalks Alastor through video and this seems to have been going on for a long while, maybe even before they were beefing, which is why Alastor apperently consciously tries to distort / prevent his appearances on camera / feed. So for my Alastor anyway this is whats true. He has a general understanding of modern technology and even knows how to use it more or less. He's NOT completely tech illiterate at all, he is , however, a bit "out of touch" with it but less because he's some ancient guy who cant / wont learn, but rather he more just avoids it because its Vox's medium and, honestly, even if Vox didn't have some kind of supernatural presence within most of hells tech, he's unable to interact with it at all without thinking about Vox and their past ━ or maybe even its a constant reminder of who/what Vox is now and Alastor would really rather the fuck not. We have also seen moments where when Alastor WANTS Vox to see him, he isn't really distorted on camera. He will actively place himself in a position where Vox can clearly see him. I think this was also kind of shown when Alastor was not only introduced in the first episode as being the one to film and put together and entire TV advertisement for the Hotel (albeit steeped a hilarious amount of malicious compliance) but the fact that apperently Alastor's less resistant to using "technology" that isn't somehow connected to VoxTek, which we get the impression is currently very rare in hell. This could also be why technology at the Hotel seems to very outdated. Anyway.
