i need to bg3 dr vent. im genuinely so nervous to talk to astarion. when i get to my dr for the first time we’re not friends, i literally met him the night before i wake up there, and i havent met the other companions yet so its just going to be me and him at camp. my dr doesnt have much of a plot but hes still very much the same person as he is in the game. i get jitters thinking about my comfort people from my other drs but the jitters i get when i think about him are different. hes been through so much and im scared im going to do the wrong thing. also with the knowledge i have from playing the game i know hes not going to be his true self with me for a while, which is fine, but i want to be his friend. i literally dont care if it takes 3 or more years for him to trust me a little bit im waiting. the other day i thought about scripting out my knowledge of his backstory, and then im like, wait thats a horrible idea i need to be so prepared for that for his sake. i (respectfully) like him so much i dont want to fuck it up

guys the kiss was so important especially from a narrative and storytelling perspective because it was literally Crowley taking everything that's happened between them, every unsaid intention and every unspoken promise, and making it physical.

He's taking their arrangement and every other bullshit excuse they've ever used to hide how they feel about each other and throwing them out the window to put their feelings into an undeniable physical action that holds a lot of meaning to humans in order to be absolutely sure that Aziraphale knows exactly what he means when he says "we could have been Us." He wants to be absolutely sure that there are no misunderstandings between them and know that Azirphale will be committing to this decision with absolute reassurance that he's been understood and rejected anyway.

he's taking a human action with so much meaning and so much importance, and he's using it as a way to desperately make Aziraphale completely and undeniably aware of what he's stating. No more charades and no more lies or cover-ups. There's no denying this thing between them now, and Crowley did it the human way. Because he and Aziraphale love humanity and it's everything to them in their own ways.

There's a reason we saw a kiss between Crowley and Aziraphale, and not Gabriel and Beelzebub, despite them both being undeniable foils.

If you want "blonde representation" in the percy jackson series i need you to respectfully shut the fuck up. The argument that you wanted a blonde girl to play annabeth because "it was a big part of her character" tells me you didnt understand her character AT ALL. To say that it dissapointed you that annabeth wasnt blonde in the show because her being blonde proved the "dumb blonde" stereotype wrong... i hate to break it to you but...i dont think blonde people are really being oppressed by that trope, crazy i know. Its a thing that exists, yes, but being completly honest, i dont think that a person in real life will come across a blonde woman and believe shes stupid just because shes blonde. Like you didnt "lost" representation, and it ABSOLUTELY didnt damage annabeth character. Just because theres ONE stupid line of dialogue in mark of athena where annabeth say "people dont take me seriously bc im blonde" doesnt mean that thats her whole character.
