An Opportunist MV-frame redraw, done entirely (besides the initial sketch) with the lasso tool. Yes, you read that correctly, every single part of this drawing, including all the shapes, shading, circles, strings, and even signature, was drawn with the lasso tool. And it was quite fun to do, too!

The original song that inspired this drawing is 奴隷じゃないなら何ですか by TUYU! I also made a couple more Oppy-inspired drawings from this song, though those were done normally:

This rat has been on my mind a lot, and maybe you can kind of see my train of thought with him, based on the lyrics I chose to accompany these drawings. And maybe one day, I'll make an entire write up on Opportunist to satisfy my brain's weird obsession with him... but I'm not very good at words, so have the drawings for now :]

Akito redraw from the Fusion MV I did back in February! I thought it looked really cool so I wanted to try recreate it! ^^ It was so tedious though because I had to remake every single graphic that was surrounding him- I had to eyeball all of it 😭

Anzu, what’s anzu’s composition process? Is there any specific way Anzu decides on posing and background art?

anzu improvises a lot !!!! anzu sort of just goes with the flow.. anzu most of the time has a very clear picture of what anzu wants to go with. but sometimes, things change during the process !

gonna go on to explain what anzu means with these two arts, because anzu also has screenshots of what anzu means...

first one ! anzu kept thinking of what to do on it and late at night before the day it was for, anzu also drew a rough sketch when talking with friends to explain how anzu wanted to go about it

as you can see, some things changed, some things were left the same... it ended up not having confetti or nnd comments flying across the screen (mostly because it already had too many things going on ww)

anzu initially also kept changing around the position of his legs, but it ended up being similar to the explanation sketch in the end.

as for the other one, anzu was really struggling on the composition. anzu wanted to really make it feel related to the song, but also not be just a redraw of a frame from it like the no1 ni sasete and merry sexmas arts.. so anzu wanted to go by some of the lyrics or mv elements. this was a hard task.. the lyrics were all not things that could quite be imposed into a piece of art like this, and the mv is also really lacking for this song compared to others.. so, anzu decided to rather go by the feel of the music than anything, and follow through with the len-hai members decision on making some 'cool len' for this. there is also an old tv like effect at the beginning of the MV! so anzu was initially going to make the text pop out of an old tv like that.. heres a very poor composition explanation anzu made for it for friends back when working on it w

initially, due to this, they were also further apart from each other.. but anzu simply just repositioned them later to better fit in the canvas

the background is also likewise for every piece..! but anzu did get a loooot of asks on how to background.. so anzu hopes to one day find time to properly answer that as well !

dont know how much this can help given anzus entire process is just a lot of improvisation on the go really... but maybe you can also find it in you to try a lot of things mid drawing until you find something you're satisfied with !

going with rachie's lyrics but i redrew the original music video roughly frame by frame on a whim (might help to play through the mv once then look through the redraws so they make more sense lmao sorry about that)

the creation of perfect milo (part one out of two hopefully), clearer versions under the cut.

im SO tired today and didnt even have the energy to finish one of these, let alone all three... but i had to persevere. unfortunately this means i really rushed these and there were more frames i wanted to redraw but couldnt out of pure exhaustion and how busy today has been for me so hopefully ill get those done tomorrow. these are redraws of frames from blank and summer. the song is a banger and i INSTANTLY saw the milo redraw potential in this mv.

here since the black background kinda makes it harder to see the lineart lol (though to be fair theres like. not much lineart going on. especially in the closeups of v milo and m milo because those are literally just sketches)
