talking about possible system don't look at me

I recently discovered I might be a median system and would like to make a post explaining how I experience it to make sense of things. I'm still questioning, so I'm not claiming I'm actually a system just yet, I have to talk to professionals about this first

• probably OSDD-1a, traumagenic but can't remember trauma I just know it's there because of a lot of stuff

• median, monoconscious, shared memory

• there's definitely different versions of "me". I can often tell I am someone different than I was before. The "mes" are different enough that they have separate names, personality, taste in things, and vibes, but we share thoughts and memory. I experience them all as being "me" when they're fronting, but they feel like separate people when they're not fronting (eg, I am Elysium rn. When Elysium stops fronting, he no longer feels like me, but feels like someone else. When he fronts again, he's me again)

• I dissociate often. I am depersonalized most of the time and feel disconnected from my body, but when things get hard my first reaction is to derealize as well. Often my dissociation feels like someone other than me is experiencing things, or someone other than me just did/said something

• we all have different genders and sexualities, but most and the most active are transmasc. This makes settling on labels very hard. Abrosexual and genderfluid never felt quite right

• Eden seems to be a core of sorts. He's the "base" me. I use Eden also as a collective name, he named himself after it since he's the "main" one

• there's 20+ of me. How many is hard to count, and I commonly get new ones while others go dormant

• most of us in nonhuman. I believe this to be because of my animals (and specifically mammals) special interest. How humanoid we are varies

• I use fursonas/personas/pokesonas/whateversonas as a way to keep track of everyone. Because of our OCs special interest, most of us want to have a sona, and often a way I can tell there's someone new is if I'm increadibly compelled to create a new sona. The sonas are based on what each one feels they should look like, though some are more exact than others

• we have no communication (... probably?) because we're monoconscious. But my inner voice is a bit different depending on who's fronting. We also have no headspace, it's just kind of a black void in there

• I can sometimes see the facets, but usually only who's fronting sees themselves when imagining actions they'd do. Some can't see themselves, and it sometimes doesn't always work. I generally seem to instinctively know vaguely what each facet looks like

• this is all distressing to us. Forming new facets is distressing. Switching is distressing. Blurring is distressing. Not having a cohesive identity is distressing. Not out of any specific reason, our brain seems to just find something inherently wrong with it. We've found it distressing since before finding out we might have this. This isn't something we want, but also we accept it

Okay SO. Though I call it my Lackadaisy NextGen AU as I have no name for it as of yet, it's really a NextGen AU x a "film noir" murder mystery. As I feel like the 10k words of notes I've written down might be a bit too long for your askbox, I'll just give you the Sparknotes version.

Talia (tortoiseshell), eldest daughter of Calvin and Ivy and our main character, is an 18-yo freshman who started off her first year of college bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. No doubt in part because this meant that she would no longer have to babysit her four younger siblings. This very quickly changes when her best friend, a girl working as a prostitute to pay for her classes, is murdered. As the police are predictably no help, a heartbroken and despondent Talia seeks help from the local private eye. The private eye, Quicksilver (pure gray cat), is based off of an old Warrior Cats sona of mine, and since he already has some lead rolling around in his skull (he's more or less okay with it), he doesn't mind getting into dangerous work as well as he gets paid for it. (He also was an old apprentice of Elsa. Still maintains feelings for her that are an odd mix of "looks up to like a mother figure" and "she was a vicious crush of his when he was 19".)

Things don't go so well when the killer catches on that Talia has gone to Quicksilver, and swiftly tries to kill them, nearly shooting the head off of a very unfortunate paperboy instead. Lawrence (what some might call a "cow cat"), also 18 and middle child of Lacy and Horatio, becomes the unfortunate star witness in the killer's latest murder attempt and now has a target on his back as well. With all three of them needing to get to the bottom of the case before one of them loses a life, they're forced to team up and become a motley crew of investigators navigating the seedy underbelly of Missouri, and all of the lies, corruption, and depravity which lay waiting within it.

There are also a few other characters-- Xavier Savoy, street-smart orphan (dad dead to WWII, mother to the flu) who was taken in by Serafine and the Congregation ("Serafine's harem", as he later started calling it) who's always willing to help for a price, and the gossipy diner waitress Lynn who may or may not be related to a certain Drago, but they're not really as into the whole "catch the killer" as the aforementioned three are. Overall, the AU functions as some sort of new-generation sequel; the other characters are mentioned and acknowledged, but the story mainly focuses on the new characters.

One very important plot-point, however-- Talia doesn't know about Lackadaisy. Neither does Quicksilver. Lawrence knows vaguely about Lackadaisy and Freckle/Ivy's involvement, but not the fact that Talia is their kid. So there's always this backdrop of "something happened in my family's past, but I'm not sure what". Talia is a perfect combination of her father's anger and her mother's wit, and though she doesn't know it (and Freckle hates to know it), she has more of her father in her than any of her siblings. When push comes to shove, well, Talia has a very bloody family legacy, and like it or not, violence runs in her veins.

One last thing-- though certain characters are at least mentioned or known to be alive (Lacey still works under Wick, Wick/Mitzi/Zib are a thing though their current professions are unknown, Quicksilver visits Elsa semi-regularly), others are not. Namely, Rocky, Viktor, Mordecai, Asa, and Dominic. It's not necessarily confirmed whether or not these characters are still kicking, but well... sometimes Freckle will watch his kids do something stupid and get this wistful look in his eye, and Ivy will just cling to his arm and say nothing.

Ahhh, this is fantastic! It combines two of the best things, NextGen AUs done really well and Warrior Cat OCs that have been repurposed into Lackadaisy ones. I would kill or die for these kids and any more details of this story you feel inclined to throw my way, I'll happily lap up.

Also, that bit about Freckle watching his kids put a dagger in my heart, mostly because I can't shake the feeling that it's going to someday be canon.

I'm Astro, I'm primarily a digital artist but I also do traditional sketches now and then too! A bit about me I'm from Ireland and currently 22! I was an Instagram artist for the longest time but am no longer happy with where the site's going, so... here I am! I'm also on Youtube which is where my most ambitious projects take place lol I do play video games in my past time, more on that in the next paragraph :) I LOOOVE space stuff, which of course is the inspiration for my name and sona, which also trickles into my other interests. I am also getting into music production! So, what to expect from this account? A lot of my artwork is fan art based on the video games that I enjoy. Primarily Kirby, Terraria, Pokémon are the main 3 to expect but there may be the occasional Mario post or whatnot lol My OCs! I also have my own OCs that I also post about a lot! The main trio of characters are Via, her little sister Kayleigh, and her best friend Orion. The posts about my OCs are just slice of life kinda stuff, but I also randomly insert them into other media or memes now and then xD One of such (the most prominent) is in one of my art projects! What are these art projects? First off is Project Dream! My Kirby art project, a fan made story that takes place after the events of Kirby Star Allies, my favourite Kirby game! Each of the illustrations are primarily dedicated to each of the Dream Friends. Each installment also gets an accompanying timelapse/speedpaint video over on my Youtube, which is where most of the story is explained and visualised. There is a main antagonist of the story, and the Project has been going for almost 5 years now. It is in it's later stages, but how will the story end? Stay tuned to find out ;) The other one is Terraria Legends! Terraria Legends follows the tale of two heroes as they progress throughout the land of Terraria and facing the many bosses and events the game has to offer. These two heroes however are Via and Orion! The Terraria versions of Via and Orion are different to their original counterparts however. Terraria Legends isn't as old as Project Dream, but our heroes currently are almost at the end of Pre-Hardmode! Where else can I be found? Youtube, Ko-Fi, Cara, Terraria Forums Or alternatively, all my links can be found through my Carrd! Anything else? okay i gotta preface this with: i have been doing commissions for over a decade. everything i say here i've been doing since roughly 2014, but my career as an artist didn't really Take Off and become reliable until 2019. success isn't immediate. some artists will grow faster or slower than others, not every tactic is going to apply / work for every artist; and that's okay. just keep pushing yourself and adapting and figuring out what works for You!

i’m putting this under a readmore as it got a bit long. every time someone asks me for advice on professional Anything i always write up a five page essay despite trying to bulletpoint it oof

post on multiple platforms and keep them all updated. i’m putting this one in bold because it is possibly the Most Important thing. we’re all watching twitter sinking over there, and many of my mutuals there were floundering because they hadn’t established themselves on any other social media site. i strongly recommend three or four socials minimum. my main four sites are tumblr, deviantart, twitter and toyhouse. furaffinity is also good. inkblot and artfol are new and i use them frequently as well. if you don’t like posting manually to every site each and every time you post art, Postybirb exists and is what i use to crosspost all my art to most of my socials at once.

avoid venting a lot on main. we all have frustrating days where our art isn’t getting the recognition we hoped, or we’re feeling petty about a controversial topic or the latest drama. it happens! it’s okay! however, many people just don’t like seeing dozens of negative posts on their feed. most people will sympathize, but if your negative vents are constantly clogging their dashboard they’re not gonna stick around.

shamelessly self promote yourself. reblog your own art. retweet it again. repost it. mention your other socials. we live in a world of timezones! when you post art, only a fraction of your audience is going to see it. i recommend reblogging / retweeting one to four individual pieces periodically over the course of a day and change it up each day. you can also repost your own work into photosets and title it “recent commissions” or the something like that.

don’t hide your linktrees and carrds. seriously! the amount of times on twitter i went to try and follow someone on another platform only to find they had no carrd or linktree link,, it is infuriating. put your socials link in your bio or pinned or SOMEWHERE readily at the top of your profile that’s easy to spot.

if you’re offering commissions, make a telegram channel or discord server for your announcements / openings.

post regularly. this one is a lot harder for artists that don’t make a lot of content, but posting even a status update once or twice a day can go a long way - especially if you’re on twitter with that platform’s hideous algorithm. alternatively as i said earlier, just retweet/reblog your work a few times a day and you should be good.

art trends are cool and fun and an easy way to get your work seen by others. see a “draw your sona in this outfit” meme? go, have fun with it. this one’s a bit tricky as timing is everything when it comes to ~trending~ content, so try and draw quick. that said, it’s never outdated to drawover reaction memes with your fursona.

try not to clog your socials with memes and shitposty images. this one is directed at twitter specifically. with twitter moments now gone, your media tab is the last way for people to hope to find your work organically on your profile without having to use the twitter search. they can’t get invested in your work if they can’t find it!

it’s okay to change course if you’re not vibing with where you’re headed. if you want to move onto a new aesthetic - that’s fine! you may lose some followers if they don’t click with your new vibe, but you’ll inevitably gain some new ones.

avoid frequent name changes. so many of the artists i follow have changed their brands / urls over the years that i don’t recognize them anymore.

tag your work properly. on tumblr, the first five tags on the original post are the tags your work will pop up in in the search feature. make those first five tags the Most important ones; example: #furry, #anthro, #art #fursona etc. twitter’s algo seems flip-flop if it likes tags or hates them. if you see a tag trending, repost your art in a photoset with the hashtag in the post [example: if #pokemon is trending, repost some of your pokemon fanart with the hashtag in the post body]. if the tag isn’t trending,,, i’ll be honest it’s a gamble if twitter likes your post or not at that point. i have no advice for that hell algorithm.

hosting raffles or doing a mini art request event [example: “leave a ref and i might draw your oc”] is good for traction while simultaneously giving back to the community + your audience a little!

try and reply to / like comments on your work. it’s not required per se, but it’s good to express gratitude.

engage with other members of the community. comment on other peoples work. like it. retweet it. follow other people. obviously don’t be disingenuous about it, but this is what the professionals call ~networking~

don’t compare yourself to others. this one is one you have got to keep in mind constantly. you’re going to find 17 year olds with huge followings and 30 year olds that are doing professional industry work whose level feels alien and almost out of reach. if you’re not doing as well, don’t let yourself get discouraged. we all gotta start somewhere!

related to the above point: be nice to your followers. venting on main about not having the same audience volume as others can come off as a huge middle finger to the audience you already have.

gaining a following takes time. unless you get a really lucky break, it’s going to take a lot of work and self promotion to build up your brand.

slap your name on everything. i mean it. any art you do - sign it. watermark it. people can and will share art in telegram channels and discord servers, and if the art interests someone they can easily source it back to you if your name is on it.

you can buy adspace. if you’re catering to a furry audience specifically, you can buy adspace on furaffinity pretty easily. inkblot i believe also offers adspace for artists though i haven’t looked too deep into it. this is really a “if you’re okay burning money” situation, as the huge chunkk of internet users have adblockers now and it’s a gamble if people will see or even click on your ad.

just have fun and do your own thing. you can hop on trends and draw art that caters to your audience’s tastes, but don’t forget to draw what YOU want and what YOU’RE about. Draw what makes YOU happy.

Okay having a small crisis here.

I have two Lego Monkie Kid OC’s. Both of which I want to ship with Red Son and MK. Originally, i had planned who I wanted to ship with who, but I was reading through some prompts and I started getting second thoughts.

OC#1: ChuangZao Zhe—Only daughter of a rich and well-respected family. She was supposed to be married off, but on the day of her wedding she ran away, ending up arriving at Megapolis. And if you’re reading my fanfiction “The Princess Servant” on AO3, then you’d recognize her a bit. She just has a different backstory since it’s an AU. Her development and overall concept took a lot longer to come up with and settle on.

Originally, I wanted to ship her with MK. I already started writing a fanfiction for the two(their ship name being something that had to do with jewels and noodles because the fanfiction was going to be called “Jewels and Noodles”). It starts off with ChuangZao Zhe(or Zao for the sake of not saying long names) entering the Tuk-Tuk in her fancy-dancy clothing and MK notices how much she sticks out. He tries getting her name, but he says that the order had nothing to do with her name, only her “brother”(she doesn’t have a brother), Zhe. Later on he sees her at a park feeding pigeons, except she isn’t in her silk and jewels, only a hoodie and jean. i haven’t gotten much further than that, but I plan on making her spill her personal shit sometime. Or, well, planned.

See, when the concept of ChuangZao Zhe first came to mind, she was a LMK AU of my sona(at the time). My sona was called Crea Torr, and by the name you could assume that her actual name was Creator, which is more of her race than anything. When an ex-friend of mine and I wanted to put our sona’s into this AU, I had to come up with a new design and name for her. Chuangzao Zhe means “Creator,” however I shortened it to Chuang Zao,Chuang for short. She was in the place of Red Son, so I basically womanified Red Son, and made the character represent Crea. After a while, and after that friend and I had a falling out, I revamped her. So now, her name was ChuangZao Zhe(the full translation of and she had a new design. However, I paired her with Red Son. I changed her personality to be more motherly, but I made a swapped version so I could still have that old design and personality, just a little more yassified. And only recently have I decided to scrap that idea and change her character completely, as well as ship her with MK instead of Red Son.

OC#2: Jengji Tengwan—Tengwan for short, a plant demoness who majors in biology, botany, and biochemistry, essentially a mad scientist. Her sinister goal is to make a new race of organisms to repopulate the Earth, this race being part plant, part animal. She started this goal due to her devastation of the world being taken over by technology and modernization. Translating to “Vine of Thorns” or “Thorny Vines,” she’s my newest OC and already I love her personality, her design, and her character over all. I sort of based her hair off of ChuangZao Zhe’s, but I based one of her outfits entirely off of the Red Son version of Zao’s outfit. However, that would only be her lab uniform. Her main outfit is different. Since I decided to ship Zao with MK, I decided to go “Hey, what if villain x villain” and shipped her with Red Son. I thought it would be a good concept because they are both mad scientists, they’re both demons, and both of them are evil(well, Red Son isn’t evil evil but you get the point). There wasn’t much development for this one, since she’s new and all, but I was able to come up with her backstory and stuff.

So now that I’ve cleared that up, it’s time to talk about my crisis.

While looking up “enemies to lovers” prompts, I stumbled across. . . this:

So then, I was like “Oh who could i do this with?” Then it hit me and that’s when things came crashing down.

MK and Jengji Tengwan. MK, a hero. Tengwan, a villain. So now, I’m having trouble deciding which tropes I wanted.

MK/ChuangZao Zhe: Dorky hero/Stoic rich girl trying to run away from her family—Strangers to lovers trope. I’ve already explained much of the plot that i wanted to use for these two, but I like the idea of MK wanting to meet someone who looks new and “cool” in his eyes, eventually making friends with her but also developing feelings for her. He also seems like a very dependable person when she will open up to him, probably relating to her since he was given a on he’s now found trouble accepting.

MK/Jengji Tengwan: Dorky hero/Unhinged biochemist villain—This one was the enemies to lovers trope that I find a lot of interest in. I can think of a scenario where maybe MK and Tengwan are fighting and the conversation goes something like the one in the prompt. Tengwan, being surprisingly easy to fluster, would say something more like “No!. . . What. . . Gave it away?” And she would say the whole “Can’t you just kill me instead?” part. I was debating if things could actually get intimate between the two, but I feel like that could always be open for debate later since I’m not too much of a spicy writer. As enemies, MK would do whatever to keep people safe from Tengwan abducting them for experiments. As lovers, I feel like it could take a while for Tengwan to settle down. This could provide sort of comedic scenarios between the two, like maybe she invites him to her lab and she wants to show off her collection of plant/animal hybrids and mutants. Or maybe Tengwan visits the Tuk-Tuk and orders noodles, asking for some pretty unusual stuff and MK would have to justify her weirdness.

Red Son/ChuangZao Zhe: Hot headed and short tempered kind-of-hero/Stoic rich girl trying to run away from her family—They would definitely grow impatient with each other. Red Son would be easily annoyed by her blandness, smart mouth, and lack of communication. Zao would get annoyed by his temper, but would definitely get mouthy with him. I’m not sure if this would be enemies to lovers or what, but they’d probably meet each other through MK an his friends. These two would have more comedic scenes due to their constant bickering with each other. They wouldn’t fight very physically, but if they ever would then it would end up in an awkward situation, like Red Son makes the first move and somehow he’s pinned her on the ground(oopsie). There would also be a lot of name calling, mainly by Red Son.

Red Son/Jengji Tengwan: Hot headed and short tempered sort-of-hero/Unhinged biochemist villain—I’m not sure how i feel about these two. On one hand, scientist meets scientist could he fun, but on the other hand one scientist would probably want to turn the other into some plant/demon abomination. Honestly, I don’t have much to say about these two, but from their personalities you could come up with some stuff in your head.

And that concludes this post. While writing this, I’m sure I’ve already started making my decision. But chances are I’m gonna do all four of those tropes, mainly Red Son/Zao and MK/Tengwan. But if you wanna give some feedback about your opinions, then I’m open to suggestions.

she has two nen abilities : Stuffed Heart and Cloud Space!

ABILITY 1: STUFFED HEART

Stuffed Heart is part of Amina’s main defense ability. Amina carries a plushie on her person at all times, the most prominent plush you’ll see the most is a fox she calls Eden.

On the outside, Eden appears to be a normal plush toy that a child would have. What you wouldn’t know is that he’s sentient, thanks to Amina’s nen. Eden works as a distraction. The enemy will notice Eden’s charm and becomes overwhelmed with joy and cuteness aggression, so much so that it could bring them to tears or leave them into a hysteric state. This could even result in death (self imploding.) If said enemy doesn’t die from self imploding, from there Amina will use normal attacks with her Tessen.

Amina has a few other plushies who have the same sentience as Eden. They serve as both comfort items and her bodyguards. She can transfer sentience into a new plushie when she wants, however it’s a very tedious process that she hasn’t quite mastered.

Only Amina could feel the plushie’s sentience, only she could communicate with them. She can relay messages from her plushies to other beings.

ABILITY 2: CLOUD SPACE

Cloud Space, unlike Stuffed Heart, is a retreat ability. It is activated under circumstances such as; being knocked unconscious, being near death or extremes mental stress. Amina’s hands will come together, almost in a prayer form. She’ll look up to the sky with whitened eyes and summon pastel-colored clouds. The clouds engulf her, taking her to another ‘realm’, leaving a small cloud charm on the ground. The charm can be taken by people Amina grants her utmost trust with (so far those people are Deluca, Ging and Cheadle.)

In Cloud Space, Amina is unable to contact people from the ‘outer’ realm, she’s also not able to be reached until she’s out of the realm.

The realm provides as, again, a retreat when Amina is in a vulnerable spot. It could take minutes upon hours, sometimes days, for Amina to emerge from Cloud Space. When she does so, wherever the charm has been taken, she will come back the same way she disappeared; emerging from the same clouds. Once she’s returned to our realm, she’ll be unconscious for a little bit. Even after regaining her conscious, Amina’s brain will remain loopy and foggy for a while. This could be a few minutes, hours, days. The longest that this brain fog has lasted was three days.

- amina is autistic and has adhd + bpd + dpd!

- asides from being a hunter, amina works at a nightclub called ‘Borealis Mirage’, she’s a performer and an unofficial waitress :3

- she began working at the club before becoming a hunter! she always liked dancing as a stim, as well as going clubbing and listening to loud music, so that’s what ultimately made her work at Borealis

- amina is an age regressor !! ging is her primary caregiver!

- amina also has heterophobia in her eyes 🩷 /sil (heterochromia) she has one yellowish-gold eye (left) and a brown eye (right) !

Y'know what, because I've been getting back into Fortnite because of Epic introducing Zero Build (thanks Slone, I hate you for your betrayal back in Season 7 of Chapter 2, but thank you for the new permanent game mode) and me writing and developing my self-insert into the story that is this game, along with my little AU I keep to myself, I figure I gush a little about Meowscles! But where do I start? I guess I should skip to the good part and work my way from there!

So on 2/20/2020, Epic release the second season of Fortnite Chapter 2 and introduced one of the most amazing skins that I've ever laid my eyes on in all my time of playing this game. He is my feline duo partner for life and my handsome trans husband (yes I headcanon him as trans because you have no power here >:3) and his name is Meowscles! Words can't explain how much I love and simp for this buff kitty, he was the only skin that I used for pretty much the entirety of C2S2, I CARED FOR NO ONE ELSE OTHER THAN HIM-

I don't know what it was that had me so drawn to him in the first place. I guess I had several imagines in my head of the two of us running duos together and he would be so intimidating, but seeing me so nervous, anxious, and overwhelmed, all it would take was a pat on the shoulder and with my focus on him, he'd nuzzle close to me and fill my ears with those addicting purrs. IT'S FUNNY HOW MY SONA IS A CANINE AND I HAVE A THING FOR FELINES, IT'S CRAZY HOW THAT WORKS-

I definitely see him as the protective type, like when Midas started doing some sketchy shit (doomsday - season 2 event), Meowscles didn't want me leaving his sight. For those 124 days the season has been going on for, we had some crazy first dates and that moment was proof that this cat and I were going to go through some hectic shit in the future. And here we are, we went through 9 seasons of some crazy bullshit and we're reaching our 10 season anniversary on June 4 with the release of Season 3!

During season 2, one of our dates consisted of going to the ASTRONOMICAL event with you-know-who (YOU STILL GOT SOME EXPLAINING TO DO). But during the concert, as well as the Rift Tour, I knew practically all the lyrics and I felt his gaze on me when I was singing along, bouncing up and down, and enjoying every second. Especially when I sang along to goosebumps, that's when I let loose and just sang my heart out. Meowscles pulled me close and wanted me to keep singing, so I did. The smile on his face was wide, he just watched me as I was in the zone and in a state of bliss.

But back on the topic of protective, at the beginning of Chapter 2 Season 6, HE LITERALLY TRIES THROWING HANDS WITH A PREDATOR, THIS IS WHAT I MEAN WHEN I SAY HE 👏🏾 WILL LITERALLY 👏🏾 PROTECT 👏🏾 ME 👏🏾 FROM 👏🏾 ANYONE 👏🏾 AND/OR 👏🏾 ANYTHING, NO MATTER HOW SCARY IT MAY BE. There are some pretty rare times where I'm the one coming in to save him, but like I said, very rare.

When the season 3 trailer dropped, I was BLESSED with him being in the spotlight for majority of the video, casually (*googles the correct definition*) waterskiing and showing off, saying what's up to Aquaman too, like WHY ARE YOU SO PURRDY?? While protective, I see him having a bit of a crazy side like me, not afraid to launch himself into the heat of battle, even if it might get himself killed and therefore, sent into another Loop. Then he tries again! There's very few times where we'll find a place to chill so he can take a little catnap (haha yes I did a funny) and in turn, I end up falling asleep with him and it's a deep sleep thanks to those deep purrs of his.

I absolutely love his main variant, I have a MAJOR soft spot for his SHADOW variant and I kinda regret picking the GHOST one during the season because LOOK AT HIM, HELLO???

AND HOW COULD I FORGET HIS TOON VARIANT?? Someone at Epic knew that I had a thing for cartoons and animation and they decided "y'know what, let's keep him coming back for more" and look at what they did!

So far in the current chapter, we're doing pretty good! And by "pretty good", I mean Meowscles driving a truck while I'm shooting with a nerfed heavy sniper at an oncoming enemy vehicle that's shooting back with other ranged weapons and-oh shit, we just ran over Peter Parker and Vi from Arcane.

AND THATS ALL I GOT FOR GUSHING ABOUT MY DUO PARTNER FOR LIFE! I'm eager to see what new events we'll both go through together and fresh new hell awaits for us both on Artemis (the name of the current island). I guess we'll have to see. Aaaaaaand that's about it! Thanks again, Anon!! 💜

Day 2: Arts and Crafts Day

hello campers!

today's activity is... arts and crafts! that's right, it's time to get creative. bust out the pens, pencils, paint and graphics tablets, even if you don't think you're good at art!

this activity will work a little differently than most others this week. rather than just having one set thing for you to complete, there will be one main task, and then several optional side tasks! this gives you a bit more flexibility, since we know some people aren't the biggest art fans.

first, here is your main task!

Main Task

every camp, we try to do a collaborative art piece! this means that we take an image, split it up, and give each tent a section to complete together. then, at the end, we'll put all of the sections back together to make a final piece! do try to give this one a go, the end result always looks amazing!

this camp, we've chosen to do one of norman, dnp's late fish. your tent will be assigned a section number on discord, so keep an eye out in your tent chat in our server! when you are given your section, work together with your tent to colour/design it, including the background! here's the full image to help you know where your section fits:

if possible, we would love your piece to be submitted by the end of today, but if you're unable to finish it by then, just get it in as soon as you can! it can either be submitted here, or by pinging the admins in your tent’s discord channel.

and now, here are your optional side tasks! feel free to do as many or as little of these tasks as you like :)

Side Tasks

1. phil's had some hydration-themed merch and some norman-themed merch, but he's yet to have coral reef merch... until now! have a go at designing some reefy merch for phil. feel free to be as creative as you like - what about a coral reef plant pot? or a yo-yo?

2. y'know who else hasn't had coral reef merch? dan! try to design some for him! maybe the fish in this coral reef don't want to talk to you, or maybe dan's written a new book - you will get through this pollution. it's up to you!

3. this one isn't so dnp-themed, but it's a fun activity that we do almost every camp... design a flag and/or tentsona for your tent! for example, lobster tent's sona could be a lobster wearing dnp merch, and their flag could be a gradient with little lobsters and a tent motto!

4. how about having a go at a coral-reef-themed moodboard? you could theme it around your tent name, include your tent members' icons, or of course focus it on dan and phil!

5. and, last but not least, we could never forget you writers! we'd like you to have a go at writing some coral-reefy phanfic. maybe dan and phil go on holiday and visit the great barrier reef, or maybe they meet for the first time in an aquarium! feel free to make this as short or as long as you want, and interpret the coral reef prompt in any way you like.

Video game surprise

Surprise is a tricky thing. Some people like it, others don't. They can be unexpected or something that person would expect from other. They can appear not at good time and moment most of the time. But it also happens otherwise. One of such surprises was decided to be done by Axel. After that situation and what Liya told him, he couldn't stop thinking about it. Even moments with his girlfriend were not his concern at this moment. Well, better say they didn't have them for some time. He couldn't just sit aside, and so today he and Liya were going for a walk. Liya of course was surprised that Axel invited her, but she was surprised more after hearing the reason behind it.

Liya: Are you sure that this is the right place? I mean there are plenty of video games shops.

Axel: But when i checked them all, there was no game that I was looking for. Only after one of my colleagues suggested me one place, I decided to give it a try.

Liya: I see. But why inviting me?

Axel: Well, with you I feel more confident about this surprise. I mean, sure, I could do it myself, but I don't know if Nazeel reacts possitively on it after-

Liya: After what happened that day.....

Axel: Yeah....Look, maybe it won't affect that much, but I still want to cheer him up.

Liya: Like you did to me?

Axel: Of course! All my friends and girlfriend.

He smooched Liya's cheek, making her blush amd smile for a moment.

Liya: You're such a sweetheart. No wonder I love you~

Axel: And I love you~ Even tho your ideas for our moments are....unique.

Liya giggled as they got to the shop Axel needed. For couple of minutes they were there, chatting with the seller about the price of the game. Finally after buying it, they went outside and walked towards Liya's house.

Liya: I will warn Anoli, so that she could warn Nazeel about your arrive.

Axel: Good plan.

And she picked up the phone. Judging by voice, Anoli was busy in the kitchen, but chat didn't last long as Liya warned her about Axel and finished the call. For couple of hours they were walking and chatting, exchanging the latest news they heard on TV or on social media. At last, they reached Liya’s home. As there was no elevator, they had to use old casual way - stairs. When they got to their floor, Liya walked towards the door of their appartment and knocked. They could hear Anoli’s voice on the other side. 

Anoli: I will open!

They could hear footsteps coming closer and a click sound telling the couple that the door was opened and they could see Anoli. 

Anoli: Oh, Liya, Axel. Good to see you. Come in.

As they entered, Nazeel came out of his room with Sona to greet his mommy and her boyfriend. 

Nazeel: Welcome back, mommy! Hello, Axel!

Liya: Thank you, sweetie~

Axel: Hello, buddy. How are you doing?

Nazeel: Doing fine. I was not expecting that you will pay a visit to us. 

Axel: Yeah, well, I thought that it will be okay to visit you, to see how you and girls are doing. Hope it’s okay.

Nazeel: Oh, it’s okay. 

Sona barked happily, running around, waving his tail. Axel kneeled and patted puppy. Meanwhile Liya took off her shoes to enter the house.

Anoli: I have just finished cooking lunch, so please come in.

Axel: Thanks, Anoli, but I had lunch already at home. I came here because I have something for Nazeel.

Nazeel: For me?

Axel nodded as took shoes off and entered house too. Nazeel noticed that Axel was searching something in his back and when he found it and took it out...his face took an amazed expression. 

Nazeel: It’s...Dragon Quest VIII on 3DS?? But I thought that it was sold out. 

Axel: Well, one of my colleagues shared a little secret that helped me to find such game. 

Liya: And this secret is In- ~

Axel: Liya!!

Nazeel: But...why? You didn’t have to do it for me.

Axel: Maybe, but after....recent events, I couldn’t help myself not to do something for you, Anoli and Liya. Video games with good stories can help lift mood and for a moment feel like you’re part of this story. Plus, I just wanted to surprise you and thought to play this game together, if you don’t mind of course.

Nazeel looked at the game cover and thought for a moment. 

Nazeel: It’s so kind of you, Axel, thank you.

He hugged Axel tightly as Axel did the same.

Axel: You're welcome, Nazeel. So, want to play together?

Nazeel: Sure, I would like to play with you. But first I need to pick up my 2DS.

Axel: Cool.

With the bright smile Nazeel rushed to his room and came back with his 3DS. After that they went to living room where they occupied places on the sofa and Nazeel launched the game. Girls meanwhile were in the kitchen. Liya helped with setting a table while Anoli almost finished with cooking.

Meanwhile Axel and Nazeel were enjoying new game and having fun. Sometimes they were taking turns so that both could play as the main character. Even Sona decided to join them as a watcher, being confused and curious at the same time. Liya peeped up a bit to look after them. Seeing them being happy, she couldn’t help but smile too. She knew she has the best boyfriend ever. For couple of minutes boys were playing, doing a quest, then Anoli called them for a tea time. Boys put the game on pause and together the crew were having nice lunch time.

And that's the next story for our universe^^ Axel is such good friend^^ Sorry for no stories for a long time X') I will try to do them as much as i can. For now hope you will enjoy it^^
