text transcription:
Many springs ago, I perceived a sea of flowers upon a lake. I thought to myself that those fleeting colors held indescribable beauty.
The next time I perceived those colors was many years later, when the medic’s tent had blinded me to all but red. The radiance of that shining star was lost on my eyes.
Now, my eyes no longer perceive the subtleties in the colors around me.
But I am content.
For I can now see the most brilliant colors in my universe.
anyways yeah why did they fucking do that to jiaoqiu bro
the planning for this experimentalish comic is under keep reading

Man. I miss when ai generated images looked like garbled nonsense. Not only bc it was funny but bc I really enjoy painting over other pictures!! I used to be super into it a few years back and I would paint on top of pictures of mushrooms or paint swirls or flowers or whatever else. I did actually paint on top of ai art once back then!! I remember I generated smth for “man falling through clouds” and drew 100 hr Scar using that as my underpainting
It was a palette I’d have never tried without that underpainting, which is why it’s a fun experimental technique!! But now any ai art will just. Draw The Picture For You

experimenting again - this time my test subject is a character concept for another story. Set in my Extorium worldbuild, it's gonna be a short story or novella about this character and her run in with Zerachiel. She doesn't have a name yet and the story is barely loose threads but!! its a thing :3 and its gonna be (mostly) sfw so i can actually talk abt it on this blog unlike the rest of Extorium's stories XD

Bioluminescent Akaza is a fun concept, in my opinion.
Perhaps his battle spirit is what makes the ink glow. With his spirit "shining through" the ink, it could kind of highlight (pun unintentional) his fixation on spirits and their composition.
It would also match the "compass needle" he uses, I think. It's sick to imagine an animation of the ink's glow traveling downwards and feeding into the creation of the compass (when it embeds itself into the ground).
The stronger his fighting spirit, the brighter the glow, the brighter the compass, then the stronger the demon art, yanno.
For a long term project maybe I could animate the previous description so I can further get that idea across...
I would think that he would be able to dim or brighten his spirit on command (for either stealth missions or to ward other demons off his territory: "I recognize that light, we gotta scram!")
