What does your “this mountain” tag mean?

It is a broad post apocalyptic story that manifests as/in/from: daydreams, low quality images, depersonalized memories, vivid wishes, reverse engineered history, crickets in bushes, peepers in wetlands, conversation, outsiders, and visions of myself as I wish I could be. It is a reflection on narrative and a writer’s presence in works of fiction but I’ve only worked on figuring out its setting since starting it sometime around 2016 or 17. I've already said too much

Frog croaks drowned out by the rain and cement-warmed currents carrying away two weeks worth of car soot. A train still running cutting through the deep liquid fishing line curtains that are few and far between as the earth dries out. Below the train two are sheltered underneath darted polyester, one with a pink coat and the other indiscernible. The last source of warmth I can think of is the dim lamp formed in the incidental clasping of their hands

a dude came into the library stoned out of his mind and was like, “do I need a library card to look at books?” And I said, “to take books home, yes. To look at them, no” and he looked so relieved. bro was staring at a fish encyclopedia for like an hour and then just left.
