dear everyone,

a while ago, i hit 1.5k followers on this blog.... i didn't want to get too sappy but i really wanted to write something, so:

the fact that over one and a half thousand individuals follow me is truly insane and too much for my little brain to grasp. i want you to know that i'm so extremely thankful for each and every single one of you and this makes me so so so happy. this is way more than i ever had expected when creating this blog.

i made this account back in june purely for my own enjoyment; i created it mainly because i was disappointed in myself for having stopped writing, since writing has been such a big part of my life since forever. ever since i stopped writing about kpop, i had barely written anything at all... i made this account just for fun with no pressure and no expectations, and before i knew it, this blog turned into something so special for me. the blog, all of the people i've met through it and all of the moments we've shared, all mean the world to me.

honestly, i'm not sure what i would do right now if i didn't have this blog and this community. these last few months have been pretty rough for me, but i've always been able to come back on here and gain a smile or some laughter. you've all helped me so much, even if unintentionally – every single interaction helps me push forward. i'm eternally grateful for every single like, comment, reblog and ask i've received on here, and your kind words really do mean the world to me. i don't know where i would be without you.

i hit 1k a while ago but didn't celebrate it properly, so i decided to make an 1k/1.5k-celly that i will be releasing soon (when i have more time to actually write)(hopefully at the start of december). please stay tuned!

and once again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all so so so much. you truly are the best. 🧡🧡

God I’m losing my mind right now because I’m looking at photos of my Kotone cosplay from 2021 right next to my Akihiko cosplay from just this weekend. Like damn, It really is incredible how it’s been three years since I first beat it and this game is still spinning round my brain like a little plate on a stick

#image commentary in tags once again since they don't allow captions anymore and I feel weird using the alt text for that --#1 & 2. A very pale dusty warm sort of sky. Love the tone of it. All shades of gray skies are amazing.#3. Some flowers outside of a building I walked by. I like the chunky petals and interesting muted color #4. bapy son enjoying the sunlight #5. Picture of a moon and I think two stars or maybe planets or something near it? :0 #6. little lines drawn onto the carpet with sunlight from the window blinds #7. The moon illuminating the clouds to an unuusally bright degree. Very inchresting.. It isn't even captured well in photos but in real lif #it kind of looked like everything in the sky was glowing #8. They had heart shaped strawberry biscuits at popeyes this February (I think for valentines day month?)#9. All of the various rocks I've picked up on the ground outside over the past few months. Now that I have a rock tumbler I'm always on the #lookout for interesting ones. Though I'm not sure what all of them are or how well they'd actually polish. I know there are rules about tha #and stuff lol. I do think it's neat how when they're all next to each other there's so many different patterns #and colors and stuff even though they were all taken from basically the same small span of just sidewalks and places along the city #I never travel to different states or anything or even go hours away within my own state.#photo diary

drgotts: I introduced you to one of my latest pics, the awesome George MacKay.

George is a pure delight, warm, welcoming, witty and very generous. I am known for my speedy shoots but when you are in the company of someone like George I find myself dragging my feet a little as I am enjoying myself so much I don't want to to end. I think we were chatting well over an hour and a half before we even started to think about the shoot.

I remember seeing his face on some great television shows a while ago, The Old Curiosity Shop and Birdsong spring to mind. But the very first time I sat up and took notice of his wonderful talent was when he featured in Sunshine on Leith, which was directed by the fabulous Dexter Fletcher. Then climaxed with the part that cast him worldwide in Sam Mendes’ 1917.

Im told by many many directors and producers that the actors they like working with are the ones they like 'to be around’, good soul, kind, patience. This being the case Mr MacKay shall be around on our silver screens for decades to come.
