have you ever thought about how out of all the men in PJO and HOO, percy is the least like annabeth? they complement each other so beautifully, like 2 puzzle pieces that are a perfect fit, but they’re SO different. like imagine…
piper: annabeth is dating one of these 4 men
hazel: *gestures to percy, jason, frank, and leo*
piper: guess which one
random person: hmm… i’d say frank. he’s the son of the god of war and she’s the daughter of the goddess of battle strategy. they’re both incredible fighters and stategists. i bet they are amazing together
percy: 😐
hazel: *nervously laughs*
piper: um, nope! try again!
random person: oh? really? ok well then definitely jason. son of zeus? well mannered, always in control of the situation, very humble and honorable. as a daughter of athena, he’s totally her type. they are both very calm and level-headed. they both are leaders and know how to weigh the options and outcomes quickly in a tough situation. plus, they are both blonde with light eyes, so they would have beautiful babies!
percy: 😒
piper: *nervously laughs*
hazel: um… still no! one more try!
random person: oh wait… i’m so stupid! it’s obvious!
hazel: there you go! i also think it’s obv-
random person: it’s leo! why didn’t i see it? he’s a mechanic. she’s an architect. they are perfect together! she’s a creator and he’s a fixer. their brains work so much like each other. they’re basically meant to be! oh and they are both from the south!! and i bet-
piper: IT’S PERCY! she is dating percy. perseus jackson. you know, the one on the left? tall, tan, lean, black hair, green eyes? him and only ever him.
random person: oh
percy: 🤨
random person: the… the son of poseidon?? the hot sarcastic bad boy? with that troublemaker look about him? the one with severe mood swings, and who gets expelled from every single school he goes to?
percy: *awkwardly looks down at his hands*
random person: HE’S annabeth chase’s boyfriend??
annabeth: damn right he is 🥰

It's kind of funny (heartbreaking) that there were multiple Ravens who wanted a number, to the point where some tried to manipulate Jean into helping them one way or another, but none of them would have been next in line. No matter what they did, there was always someone ahead of them on the list. Someone who wasn't even on the team. That someone wasn't Neil. Neil was a surprise to everyone, including Riko. That someone was Andrew.
Kevin might have had to beg Riko to go visit Andrew, and Riko might have laughed at Kevin and dismissed Andrew when Andrew turned him down, but make no mistake, if Andrew had accepted and had become a Raven, he would have taken that #4 spot within his first year.
If we're being real, Andrew had more of a chance at becoming part of the perfect Court than any of those Ravens ever had. Even Jean thinks of Andrew as one of them.
The other Ravens never stood a chance.

everyone always talks about That One panel of Trigun: Multiple Bullets, but i havent seen anyone talk about how fucking BATSHIT INSANE the surrounding fight is
like
Vash & Wolfwood fighting back-to-back, both using the punisher as a shield
(the rest under a readmore bc this accidentally got LONG...)
Vash seeing the shots coming from behind & purposefully not moving bc he knows if he does, Wolfwood would get hit
Wolfwood getting injured too, but not moving from Vash's back. the way he's stanced, it looks Protective. he's doing what he can to keep Vash out of the direct line of fire.
even when he's getting shot up for it, he Doesn't Move. (this also seems to be the moment he got hurt, which leads into the panel later)
& throughout this whole scene, we are only seeing Wolfwood's reactions.
until the girls give them an opening, and they burst out with THIS:
Wolfwood injured, so he can't properly aim the punisher... and he gets around this by sticking one of the leather straps in his Mouth
and then we FINALLY get to see Vash's face again as he grabs the punisher (with a "GAN" sound effect, so he fuckin SLAPPED that metal hand on the punisher).
Wolfwood trusts him enough to just do what he says in the thick of battle, so we FINALLY get to the iconic panel:
which brings us to the aboslute insanity of what Vash is actually Doing.
"DON DON" -> two shots fired for two missiles launched. he literally manages to TURN THEM AROUND MID-FLIGHT (interesting to note that they seem to have internal propulsion, rather than simply being fired by Wolfwood. how many of these does Wolfwood have? they seem heavy.)
he manages to avert the third missile from hitting the dude directly, and instead makes it land Behind him. then the other two missiles, he rests his arm on Wolfwood's shoulders to hit them and direct them behind the other two enemies
Boom.
killing no-one, but showing an INSANE level of fine control AND teamwork.
and in the end, Wolfwood's arm is in a cast, Vash seems either unhurt or hurt but unbothered by it (typical Vash). And Life Goes On.
(forgot to mention before, but all panels are from @trigun-manga-overhaul! thank u for the beautiful pages)

Thinking about how Tommy probably thought he’d never find a long-lasting loving relationship. Sure, he had boyfriends, but none of them were close to serious. And he was okay spending his life alone, he’d gotten used to it. Besides, he had hobbies and work. Life didn’t seem too empty.
Sure, he was yearning for a family but his fear of ending up like his father was too great, impossible to overcome. What if he fucks it up the way his father did? And this fear kept him from going out there and searching for it.
And then his old friend and coworker called who once saved his life. And Tommy vowed to himself back then that he’d always answer his calls. So, he answered that one. His friend brought two coworkers with him. With Hen joining them later. They went on a mission, saved everyone, and it was thrilling. And Chimney’s friends welcomed him into their world.
Sure, Eddie was great. They had so much in common, and they clicked and friendship was instantaneous. Evan was adorable, like a puppy, except a little weird. And it hit him later that Eddie and Evan had this dynamic, this friendship, forged in the countless fires they put out, that no one could get in between them. That’s why Evan was acting weird. Because he ended up getting in between them.
So he came over to Evan’s to clear the air. To tell his truth. Letting go of his friendship with Eddie wasn’t something he planned on doing, no matter what Evan thought. But he’d step aside if that was needed.
Except Evan didn’t even worry about his friendship with Eddie, because they were solid. No, he wanted him. HIM. And if Tommy’s heart skipped a beat or two, it wasn’t because of Evan. Probably just arrhythmia.
He put everything on the line by kissing Evan. Everything. These new friendships he formed with the 118, with Eddie, it could all be gone if Buck didn’t accept his advances. He would have to go back to his old life, suddenly very dull and empty. Yet he risked it all.
Everything inside Tommy lit up because this guy made him feel things he hadn’t felt for a long time (maybe ever). Their first date wasn’t perfect, and he was on the verge of losing everything once again. Yet Evan came back, stronger, wiser and more determined to see where this relationship could go.
His fears came back to the surface, every single one of them. But with Evan by his side it wasn’t as scary working through them. Tommy didn’t let his fears drown him. With his mind getting clear, a vision of a family started to take shape. A family, maybe kids, maybe pets, and a house filled with love. And Evan by his side.
He’d gotten used to the idea of never having that, of being alone forever. His life was fulfilling but something was always missing. Turns out there was an Evan Buckley shaped hole in his heart. And once Evan showed up in his life, his heart began to heal. And having a family wasn’t such a faraway thought anymore. And he wasn’t going to end up like his dad, because he had Evan by his side now. And with Evan everything seemed possible.

The most unrealistic thing about aftg is actually Kevin, Jean, (&Riko, possibly, if he wasn’t dead) going pro.
I am into sports and let me tell you, with ravens training, it is hardly possible that their bodies could handle still playing at the age of (more or less) 25.
Their injuries would definitely have a comeback in the future. I mean, bones need time and rest to heal, they got none of that.
Besides, Tesuji’s training was focused on testing limits and using maximum of them at every game. Chances that their bodies weren’t worn off already at like 18? Low to none.
There’s something called “expiration date” (at least in figure skating) and I think that’s exactly what would happened to Kevin, Jean and most of the ravens. They would reach 20 and start having problem with every single part of their body, walking problems most likely. Kind of like being 20 in the body of 80 years old person.
Anyway, that’s my opinion, no hate to canon events or smth. I was just having thoughts while trying to fall asleep lmao🫶🏻
