Naomi walked hand in hand with Emily while they shopped. She needed some new clothes and was happy her girlfriend was helping her. "So, this store next? I think I see some things in there that I might like?"

i truly fucking cannot get over the image of brennan lee mulligan using the dozens of small screens surrounding him and his friends while they play dnd to play the video of him five years ago saying something integral to the campaign that they all completely missed. just the shit eating grin on his face surrounded by his own handiwork.

salvaged from the office fire in 1998
#my art#the x files#dana scully#fox mulder#alex krycek#i was talking about this on twitter yesterday but#i have a LOTTTTTT a lot of thought about this part of season two#mainly because i think that while scully probably realized she was never going to find peace ever again after emily#i do believe that the last time mulder ever thought everything would be okay was right before scully’s abduction#which is also kind of why i think mulder was closer to killing himself in ascension than in gethsemane#at the end of season four mulder is kind of resigned to his and scully’s lives unravelling#he’s more suspicious and slower to trust then he ever was#while ascension was the first time he was like. Oh okay. It’s over for us forever and ever#and the fact that he was still open and still kind of okay before that just kind of makes it worse#that he was just betrayed and left hanging and lost everyone he thought he had in one fell swoop#ascension jades the fuck out of him and you can see it. like through the whole series there are threads of it#his tendency to rely on skinner regresses for a while. he becomes even less functional when scully is gone.#he has far less patience for his informants and he refuses to rely on anyone the way he tried to on krycek#like it’s just. such an obvious shift in his character that you can tell his mindset about his and scully’s life has changed#and that’s a huge part of the show’s tragedy i think. there is no peace. there is no rest. it’s never going to be okay

Hello! With the hawk feather au, do you think Emily will end up falling? Cause at this point I feel like all it would take is a particularly bad outburst or two from Sera for Emily to say screw it and hurl herself out of heaven. At least that way she won’t have to be confronted with the horrors of it all.
Honestly, to me? Yeah, I think she would end up falling in the au
Now it just depends on how, does Sera end up causing her out? The elder angles? Does she fall herself? Honestly, all of them are equal possibilities
Thoughhh, the elder angles using Emily as a scape goat for why the exorcists 'ran off' and stuff is an interesting possibility

Naomi hugged Emily as soon as she walked inside. She had been a lot more clingy since the maze, but she hadn't yet been able to find the words to say what happened in the maze. She was going to tell her, she just needed to figure out exactly what to say. "Emily! I missed you. I'm glad you're home!"

@babyitsmagic for when you’re back if you want <3
emily pulls her hood down and downs nearly half the water bottle she’s been handed in the wings after making her way offstage before she finally looks up, catching sight of them. a huge grin breaks out across her face as she runs over, crashing into them and wrapping her arms tightly around them. “you’re here! i thought you said you couldn’t make it, but you’re here!” she’s practically squealing in delight as she pulls back, still grinning ear to ear. “i can’t believe you’re actually here!” she hasn’t let go fully, her hands now holding onto their upper arms instead as if they’ll disappear the second she stops making contact with them.

Charlie Morningstar redesign for my princess of purgatory au
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Takes place in a very post apocalyptic setting in hell, after heaven quelled Lilith and Lucifer's attempt at an uprising, they were rightfully punished by the court of elder angels
After which Charlie having being deemed innocent from the sins of her parents was given an opportunity to live her life up in heaven despite being half-demon. All her life she'd only heard bad things about her parents never having an opportunity to meet them herself, since no one besides the elder angels have any idea of what became of Lilith and Lucifer post their capture. For the longest time she convinced herself that maybe, maybe everyone was right about them, but at the same time she holds a deep desire to find out what happened to them and maybe even forgive them for everything.
Since her parents don't exactly have the best reputation within heaven her identity is mostly kept a secret to help control any civil unrest. The uprising led to several hundreds of lives lost both in heaven and hell so every year the exterminations were carried out to prevent any chance of that happening again.
Charlie does have a deep rooted desire to advocate for the rights of sinners who she is aware are essentially her people, her heart aches whenever she hears of the amount of demons killed during one extermination but she has been raised to believe that this was neccesary held down by the sins of her parents she feels like it is her duty to make amends for everything that happened but feels helpless to do anything.
That is until she started getting cryptic messages in the form of dreams, a voice of a woman who while never quite there, her presence was a constant beckoning Charlie to make a deal with her in exchange for telling her the truth about her parents, heaven and the condition of hell by itself, also while promising to help her unlock her demonic powers.
Basically a lot of Eve/Roo and Charlie bonding, Charlie is a Nephilim and she has both an angel and a demonic form.
I haven't quite decided on all the ships in the Au but I know I want to write Vaggie and Emily as a thing, don't ask I'm just interested in the concept, actually me and a few friends from ao3 have made a gc on discord where we're more or less pitting the most random ships ever. Depending on which ships I find oddly intriguing they'll be picked and placed in the AU.
EmiVaggie,Guitarspear and Huskerdust are one of the normal ones, Lucilith is a given, I'm not sure about a Charlie ship as of yet
A lot of things are different in this AU as I've taken several creative liberties
