Mystery item that had an autobot logo on it that I couldn't find again once I started fiddling with it trying to figure out wtf it was (I expect someone will yell about it being rare in the tags) it was covered in very fine yellow dust like it sat on a shelf for a good few years before ending up in a donation bin

You haven't been thrifting if you haven't found at least one Optimus (I found 2 both seemed in good condition, first guy just still has his arms folded up)

Also saw a few rescue bots and a weeljack (maybe missing head, probably of the cyberverse verity)

Dollar store had these Pretty Good™️ Knockoff Transformers Rescue Bots toys! The plastic was a little better than most dollar store stuff. Had quite a variety of "truck" styled options.

Picked up a teeny tiny Starscream, Bumblebee and Optimus Prime this afternoon from Five Below. I am acquiring quite the collection of miniature Transformers.

It is for once not a bad time to be Optimus at the second hand store, he is a confusing mess( I accidentally cropped the T-Rex head on his right arm) but not actually missing any pieces

you can also partake becoming Optimus via the mask on the right!

Bonus: this oddly tender moment between captain america (?), covered in plastacine not melted, and Kylo ren (?) (identity may be wrong as I haven't watched either of these)

12/28/24: Media finds for the last Saturday of the year! Hit up two thrift stores and tried finding clearance toys, with not much luck. Went back to Salvation Army Store to see if more movies arrived. Looks like a few did. I got these six again for a dollar each. And two are still unopened. I then went to Goodwill. I didn't find worthwhile dvds or books this time. But I found an awesome chibi Godzilla money bank for $3.99 and a gray logo Superman shirt for $5.99. Afterwards, I took off to Ross and Burlington to hopefully find cheaper holiday toys. But both were either low on stock or wiped out. Big difference from when I went earlier in the month. At Ross, I found a Transformers Sharkticon figure. And at Burlington, it was a clearance Naruto figure and some Junji Ito shot glasses. I'm gonna pass those to a friend who's a big fan. More nerdy stuff for me!

Not the greatest lighting but i’m progressing on the Cybertronian city while I recover from the excessive eepy. I even checked for a tick, I was starting to get concerned today 😅 just one of those weeks i guess?

Slowly but surely, it’s just smth fun i like to chip away at :] a watercolor base with gouache details on top. Like it’s supposed to be Iacon, i just haven’t gotten to the higher level mansion/palaces up top yet. Im in love with the free flowing base i did tho i defs need to try that again with other colors!!

Oh! Tomorrow’s Halloween! exciting! :D 👾

my first thrift doll restyle 💙 tbh i love the haircut more than i thought i would and i think i did her outfit justice even with her weird color palette. i accidentally restyled her to look exactly like my little sister lol they even have the same hair and skin tone

i'll be posting all 10 of my thrifted lol surprise dolls over the next few weeks. can't wait to show them off!
