I hit my flashlight again trying to get the batteries to work some how some way. The dark sewer has a eerie presence already with no light it’s like a horror movie. I see soap’s silhouette somehow through the dark i hold onto his vest so i don’t lose him. I want to speak but i don’t trust my voice I don’t wanna break down in front of him. I jump when i feel his gloved arm grip my forearm “Stop yer worrying lass were gonna be ok” I can’t see his eyes through the dark but i can tell he’s concerned about me. “m’not worried…just planning.” His grip on my arm tightens as we winces.
