HEY I've been thinking about this and want to see if I can get some thoughts out.

At the core of the time room we see two time-themed entities (Prismo doesn't THINK they're alive) smacking each other with hammers. Let's break it down:

Sundial : Infinitely cyclical. Tied into logical thought, allowing for scheduling and coordination. An illusion that helps things make sense. Motionless, relying on several outside forces, the sun, clear weather, stability and specific placement. This one relies on the existence of numbers but sun dials can be as simple as anything that cast a shadow.

Hourglass : Finite. Physical. Relies only on gravity. Without outside influence it has a conclusion where it is physically changed. A person can read it to get a general sense of time passed or time remaining, but any given point is unspecific. There is future and past, but we are always living in the present tense. Construction of an hour glass is complex, kind of. Glass working is required for an "hourglass" but geological shifting can create natural sand flows that will go until they run out of sand.

Both are constructed recreations of natural processes made with precision in order to help humans clock time.

Hammers : These ideas are in conflict. Finite/Infinite. Beginning and End Points/a Circle. Societal Timekeeping/Physical Timekeeping. And the reality of Adventure Time is fundamentally and unapologetically a cartoon reality, so of course these conflicting ideas are represented by one of the oldest portrayals of conflict in cartoon history: silly rubber armed guys hitting each other with comically oversized hammers.

As the reader approaches Prismo, they can sense the sadness emanating from him. They understand the weight of loss and are deeply affected by what has happened to Jake as well. With empathy in their heart, the reader gently places a hand on Prismo's shoulder, offering solace in their shared sorrow.

"It'll be ok, you always have another version of him" you reassured. Words spoken softly, the reader assures Prismo that they are not alone in their grief. They express their sadness, acknowledging the void left by Jake's absence. Sharing their memories and moments of joy with Jake, the reader shows Prismo that their feelings are valid and understood.

Prismo smiles, feeling a sense of comfort that they are not alone in their grief. They take a deep breath and hug the reader, grateful for the support. They take a few moments to process their grief before slowly moving on with their life. "Do you wanna hang out in the time room?" He asked

You nod, he starts to feel a newfound sense of optimism. They take a deep breath and follow Prismo into the room, watching other versions of their friends...messing around with the Cosmic Owl, Etc.

they did have a goodbye party for Jake, which got crashed because one of the entity's broke the screen... Everyone was disappointed, but Prismo reassured them that the party wasn't over yet. He showed the group a room where the screen was fixed and they could all have their goodbye, party. Everyone cheered with delight and the party continued.

"You know, we should hang out more...also you need to shave dude. You look like my birth father..." he gave a laugh and rubbed his face. He rolled her eyes and sighed. "I know, I just don't see why since people hardly make a wish anymore."

"It'll get better dude, trust me, you've got a lot of power, you just need to be a bit selfish sometimes, it can be a healthy thing. Trust me"

So, is the yellow box the Time Room, creator of the multiverse, and the red pyramid Golb's realm, destroyer of the multiverse?

It only really hit me now that the two are kind-of polar opposites.

Time Room has Prismo, you get a wish, you get transported out. Golb meanwhile won't listen to you, and might just turn you into a block against your wishes.

Time Room is surrounded by destruction and chaos, rocks and debris. Golb is surrounded by orderly shapes in a perfect ring.

Time Room is accessible to anyone who can make it there. Even the Scholars of Golb can't usually get there to see their deity. Simon and The Lich only got there thanks to Betty.

And, now that I think about it, I think Prismo's Boss is in charge of both.

Angel and Devil wings. Good and Evil. Chaos and Order. Scrabbie also didn't seem scared of Golb, just told them to stay out of it.

(I still don't know what those stars mean, and it bothers me, because it feels like it should mean something. Orbo only had one star on his pedestal, so does it just signify rank?)

If there is a season two (please let there be a season two) I hope we delve more into this. The function of the multiverse, and wherever the hell Golbetty went.

I'm both pleased and displeased we never saw Prismo's boss, as I certainly want to see them, but that would remove all the mystique. (Part of me likes to think the phone itself is The Boss. That's just what he is.)

So, yeah, just some thoughts on the finale.

I also don't know why the box and pyramid turned into an apple.

Maybe the ribbon signifies Betty, but I don't have a clue about the apple. Maybe Prismo used to be an apple farmer or something? Who knows?

Rus used to be the old wish master before Prismo (Rus calls him Prismy). Rus’s twin sister hides Prismo’s body in the depths of the time room to watch over Rus but to also learn from him.
