Helloooooo! So I promised a surprise for Mimosa's birthday and here it is! 🎉✨

I made a ghost/ukagaka of him and Mu!!!!

If you don't know what a ghost is, it's a sort of desktop pet! You can have them on the corner of your screen or interact with them! Play with them! Give them gifts! Talk with them! Pet them... Many things to do ;)

If you never had a ghost, I'm gonna explain how to download everything to make them work! If you're not a beginner, you can scroll and download the files (first the font, second the balloon then the nar ;3c)

Oooook lesssgo, the steps:

Download SSP on your computer! It's the thing ghosts work on, the files are all but useless without it! Here's the link: [http://ssp.shillest.net/] Fair warning, it's gonna be in japanese- Don't be scared and just click the download button!

2. Double click on the thingie, and unzip it! I advise to not unzip it in your downloads and give it its own secured folder however ;P

Then to start SSP click on the ribbon in the now unzipped files, ignore the rest, there are just "the guts" on the ghost (I mean you can read the "README" file if you're unfamiliar to all this or are curious, it explains stuff)

3. Let the cat girl (Emily) talks for a second (in japanese sorry be patient) until it opens a lil' window with stuff written (in japanese ¯\_(ツ)_/¯). Click on the right button at the bottom

4. You're good to install them now! Download and install the three files down there ! In that order: the font, the balloon, the nar

Happy Monkey font!

Mimosa talks with the happy monkey font, if you don't have it already (I didn't), download the font and install it on your computer so that what he says doesn't look weird! I promise it will look neater if you do that!

It's his personal talking bubble! If you don't have it, the bubble won't be adapted to them. ;w;

Download it and drag the file on the japanese-talking girl, she will do the work for you!

Open the right-click menu by, well, right-clicking on the girl and go to the balloon and select "mimomu-balloon". You might want to change the language to "english" as well! The balloon is set!

Do that before installing the nar or he won't use the good bubble for the introduction!

And it's the important file with the kids in it :3

Download it! If you have the font and the balloon installed, you can go and drag the nar file on Emily and you'll be done! You can change ghost in the right-click menu if you want ;3

@creative-firebug was the big motivator and enabler! No ghost without them. And they found lil' bugs in it so I could fix them before putting it out in the wild too! Getting lil' hypes, hearts and advices really helps when you're working on something for months! And they linked me the tutorial so yes, enabler.

@zarla-s has created the template I used (Girl and triangle!)! I knew nothing (and still don't know a lot) of code and just how it works at all so thanks for that :D

@ukagakadreamteam answered questions I had and half of the fun stuff wouldn't have been possible without their answers!!!!!

Today, during a work meeting, I shared my screen. One coworker wasn't familiar with how to transfer a file from the mainframe computer to a personal computer or virtual desktop. We have a file transfer program for that, but she had never used it. During a project call (with only five people), she asked me to show her.

My first step was copying the file from one dataset to another, which had a different name. My FTP will not recognize the format of the original file name, so I create one that includes my user ID in the name.

Someone else on the call watched me do this and told me if I was copying every line I could skip two tiny steps. Then he went a step further, explaining a command I'd never heard of. It allocates a new file and copies everything simultaneously.

Mind blown.

I was going from point A to point B, via points Y and Z. My extra steps only added a few moments to the process, but now, after learning this command, I feel like I'd been wasting much time over the past 20 years.

Procreate is one of those drawing applications where I’ll have been using it for 6 years and then watch a video called like “Top 10 things you didn’t know you could do in procreate!” with the expectation that it’ll just talk about like creating a color palette out of a photo or something else I’m already aware of only for the person to detach the color wheel and drag it around the screen while drawing

Protip:

If you are an epipen user and a place messes up your food, put your epipen on the table next to you when they bring back the "safe" dish.

Some places will just remove the food you are allergic to and act like they made it again due to either laziness or thinking you are faking. Seeing the epipen will give them an "oh shit" reaction if they didn't totally redo it.

just tried to order off the kids menu at the airport bar (grilled cheese). the bartender was like u cannot but why dont u get the greens theyre really good and still small. i was like word lets do that! she brought me wings. i had misheard. im vegetarian. im the one who agreed so i couldnt even be like im so sorry u misheard me. offered them to the guy next to me so as to not waste them but he didnt want them. ate the three carrot sticks that came with them while paying and the bartender (clearly noticing i was not eating the wings) was like everything good? and i was like mhm great! she walked away and boy did i sprint outta there, leaving the wings looking sad in front of my empty seat.

I FINALLY FIXED IT, MY DASH IS CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER NOW. I AM FREE. Anyway, for those new...any new accounts made after a certain point cannot turn off 'for you' and 'in your orbit' from the settings menu; the buttons are still there but they do not work. Now, this wouldn't be a problem since you have the bar atop the dash that says 'for you' 'following' and whatever...the only problem I was having was on desktop, I have three extension that help my dash look like old tumblr and function...which eliminates those tabs. However, I was able to resolves this by going on mobile and switching to and pinning the 'following' tab. Thought I'd post for any new blogs who need this help. I AM FINALLY FREE AND CAN SEE MY DASH PROPERLY. THANK THE STARS.
