Did JON REACHED OUT HOPING TO FINALLY DIE ? DID HE HOPE THIS GERRY, EVEN IF HE WASNT TMA GERRY HE WOULD RETURN THE FAVOR ? THAT HE WOULD FREE HIM LIKE JON FREED GERRY ? THAT WITH THE PLACES REVERSED THE SAME THING WOULD HAPPEN ?

TMAGP IS LIVING RENT FREE IN MY MIND SO HERE ARE SOME THOUGHTS

the characters in tmagp (both the main ones and statement givers) are where they are because of their own choices - and some, like in episodes 2 and 3, don’t even seem to be bothered by it

at first i thought this was a great way for the writers to make a clear difference between tmagp and tma.. after all, the characters in tma were not in those situations willingly and were not given a choice to leave

..except then i remembered that no. we do in fact get plenty of characters in tma who actively seek the horrors and even enjoy them. It’s all the characters that eventually become avatars. Like Jane Prentiss! Like Jared. Like Daisy. Like Jon :)

maybe the fear entities in this world have a different strategy? maybe for whatever reason it benefits them to create a bunch of avatars at first? maybe they’re not fully formed in this world yet, and this is how they gain strength? this is how they seep into this universe?

TLDR: The fear entities in tmagp’s world are not fully formed yet and rather than feeding on people’s fears they are creating as many avatars as they can in order to gain power

TMAGP Headcanon:

Lena used to be a leader of the Response Department, which was a unit rented from Starkwell for immediate response and neutralization of abnormalities (meaning Lena is an ex-mercenary), but something went HORRIBLY wrong and she was left as only one alive with RD disbanded and Starkwell not sending any more units to OIRA.

She now plays all high and mighty, but she's actually scared shitless to poke into hornets nest too much to not repeat what happened, dislikes Gwen cause she seems very Machiavellian (a disliked quality in the military) and delegates all the work to the externals, because after the RD fiasco this is the code of conduct from the higher ups (she also likes it that way, if she gets to keep the OIRA team safe and keep an eye on the horrors from the distance).

Not many people mention how much military presence Lena has. We might attribute it to her pedantism and strictness, but that's exactly type of qualities ex-soldier would have and the fact that she resorts to orders and slating when angry feels very military to me. Her initiation of Gwen also reminded me a lot of "hazing the newbies" in the military - not many clear instructions, just wanting to see if they will not buckle under pressure and follow orders.
