Fun Fact: Leo was their 'first baby'. Yoshi named the turtle after Leonardo Dicaprio. Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet was the first movie they watched together in their house.

Sometimes I wonder if Raph would be as angry if the root of the issues were addressed. At least for the 03 version, someone else would have to see if this applies to other versions.

But just imagine. Imagine. If it was less ‘Raphael control your anger’ and more ‘Michelangelo stop harassing your brother’. More finding ways to actually deal with what’s pissing him off instead of just being told to stop being angry. Like sometimes it just feels like he doesn’t have any resources for dealing with his problems because he’s just told to be less angry. This thought brought to you by someone who got told to stop being anxious instead of getting help dealing with the issue for a long time.

The hoard is starting out nicely. Slowly but surely I will collect the entire idw collection. But I also have to save up for the new 2003 figures coming out in June.

Been a while since I've posted anything original of note, huh?

Wife surprised me yesterday with the Target-exclusive release of BST AXN Alopex! One of the breakout stars of IDW's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series and a creation of Sophie Campbell (@mooncalfe-art ), Alopex getting realized in action figure form is fantastic!

First time messing around with anything from the BST AXN line, so there's a few minor criticisms (mostly due to the joints feeling a bit less robust than they could, but that's likely due to the thinness needed for the design), but overall this is a fantastic figure, especially for the $20-ish range!

I hate to say, but this might get me collecting the other IDW TMNT figures from the line. I've tried to stick exclusively to NECA's figures from the Archie TMNT Adventures comics (my all-time favorite TMNT fiction), but if they're all as good as Alopex here, they'll be well worth the money. Sculpting, articulation, deco - this figure really hits all the sweet spots. So happy to have her on my shelf!

omg reading idw tmnt scares me legit

#Im looking at two diff sites one has the best of tmnt idw collection #then theres whatever hooplas got which starts at issue 100 its the tmnt reborn thing and has jennika on one of the covers #so i think if im correct i start at the collection then move on to reborn (if reborn isnt already in the collection)#BUT i already bought the first three volumes which has the issues but not other issues like the one with raph and alopex #Soo i gotta get through that then its a straight shot through hopefully #tmnt idw

so no success with the primark ninja turtles pjs BUT i did pre-order vol 3 of the paperback idw collection :3

#i miss book depository where i could get them dirt cheap </3 im so sad it shut down #the paperbacks are ok but the hardcovers are just WAY expensive..#im only buying them to collect. im gonna read the entire collection on kindle for free. i just want the books for my shelves lol #tmnt idw #tmnt

Mona's approaching and entertaining the idea (said in a sightly mean way) of liking a mutant while she was a human (maybe reversable, or not).

Venus and Jenny are mercenaries.

Their difference is she is a physicist and was a human. (Not to say she can't fight. Gender essencialists can though. They can also say that Luisa from Encanto is a male. No she isn't.)
