I think this can highlight SJM’s lack of world building fundamentals (that she very clearly still has) when it comes to naming things. Thank every fucking deity that she switched over to literal names like “Spring Court” or “Eternal City”, as lazy as they are, because I don’t think I could’ve slugged through any more off-brand “Tolkien-esque” names 😭😭

The “centuries long enduring romance” JoeNicky thing is fine but the real hilarity is Andy and Booker having the vibes of a couple that keeps accidentally getting married while drunk and then forgetting they’re married and actually trying to get married but whoops we already are even though it doesn’t matter because these are fake identities, and but then promptly getting divorced two weeks later because Booker ‘broke’ one of Andy’s millennium-old swords that she had half-destroyed already.

And then they repeat the same process every decade or so, much to Joe and Nicky’s exasperation
