Possessed Deaddy Bear AU?

I've always loved the idea of haunted and protective stuffed animals. And Deaddy Bear is the perfect vessel for a haunted doll.

From what we know, Deaddy Bear is created from Toki's childhood comforter stuffing and made by a Norwegian furniture maker. If this doesn't feel like the perfect setting for some magic shit to occur than I don't know what does. Maybe some old straw from his doll could be in there as well? All those negative feelings and experience brought Deaddy Bear to life to act as a guardian for his lost and wayward boy.

Think of The Velveteen Rabbit meets Annabelle.

Deaddy Bear does not play around when it comes to Toki. He loves him so much and the love he feels for him granted him life. He will protect him from all those that harm him or cause mayhem for those who have hurt him.

Toki obviously does not know that Deaddy Bear is alive/possessed/cursed but the folks that have hurt him, absolutely do. Those who hurt Toki when he was homeless had it the worst.

You never see him move. But you can hear him speak. And he is not kind. And when he does move, its to do things that will harm others like cut brake lines from cars, push people, set things on fire, steal. Deaddy Bear is a force not to be messed with.

The band have all had their encounters with Deaddy Bear and are all equally terrified of him. Except they have never told the others because they think that the band would call them crazy. Charles had an impromptu meeting with Deaddy late at night and had him sign his own legal documents for Dethklok. Charles tried to negotiate Deaddy into protecting the other members of Dethklok in exchange for premium stuffed animal care (new stitching, plush fluffing, expensive shampooing, fur management) but it didn't work. Deaddy only has loyalty for Toki.

During DSR, Deaddy Bear drove the band crazy (they finally tell each other about their experiences with Deaddy and bond in fear) and only had respect for Charles and Ishnifus. When Toki came back, Deaddy Bear would not leave Toki. Even when Toki would leave him in one room, Deaddy Bear would follow him. He's still angry toward the rest of the band but he doesn't harm them anymore. Toki is oblivious to the whole thing. The band is still very weary of Deaddy and he likes it like that.

When Toki loses Deaddy in AOTD, Toki hears him speak for the first time, calling for him in despair. So that happiness when Toki gets him back at the end is layered. Deaddy Bear comes clean to Toki about being possessed/alive/cursed and Toki loves him even more.

Tokimitsu getting shy on his first date with you. Hmhm, an arcade date? you and toki try to win a prize from the claw machine. Toki cheered for you to win. But, you failed and asked toki to try and get the teddy bear. He got nervous of not winning it for you, but. Still tried. He got it, yay! The teddy bear was wearing a green shirt.

After the date, you sent a photo of the teddy bear to Toki with a message "I named it Toki! Because it looks like you ❤️" and Tokimitsu just blushes after seeing the message. Getting shy shy shy. He doesn't know how to reply back.

Tokimitsu had a crush on you for a very long time. How long? Months. Almost a year at this point. But he was always too afraid to tell you about his feelings for you. You're just one of his classmates so you don't talk to him often, but you've noticed him staring at you a lot and how easily flustered he gets when you're near him.

You started developing a little crush on him as well because he just seemed so sweet all the time. You started talking to him a little more often until you finally asked him out on a date and obviously, Tokimitsu immediately said yes.

On the day of the date, he spent hours panicking about it and got so anxious about something going wrong. But he was also so excited about the fact that he was going on a date with you in the first place. He's dreamed about that so many times (every day ever since he started crushing on you, to be honest) and a tiny part of him still couldn't believe it was really about to happen.

And during the entire date, he's still super nervous. He's having a lot of fun with the arcade game and he loves seeing how happy you are whenever you win at a game!! But a part of him is still worried about anything going wrong.

The entire time, you're the one playing and Tokimitsu is just standing there and watching while he cheers for you. But right now, you're struggling to get a cute teddy bear from the claw machine.

As he sees you struggling, Tokimitsu feels a bit bad for you. He doesn't want you to spend all of your money, and he doesn't want you to be sad in case you don't get it.

"Maybe... maybe I can try? Only if you want me to..." He asks nervously.

You step away from the claw machine immediately. "Maybe you're better at this than I am."

Your words give Tokimitsu a little rush of confidence, and that combined with the adrenaline of his anxiety, he puts all of his focus on winning the plushie for you. The first time he fails and it makes him even more nervous, but he wins after the second try!

Tokimitsu doesn't react much when he wins it. He's a bit in disbelief, so he's just kind of staring at the claw machine while you get the plushie out of there. He then immediately snaps back to reality when he feels your arms wrapped around him.

"Toki! Thank you so much!" You cheer and hug him even tighter. It caused Tokimitsu to blush so much, his entire face goes red and when you kiss him on the cheek he's completely out of words.

You spent some more time at the arcade, but it does take a while until Tokimitsu regains his ability to speak. He thinks it might bother you, but you actually think it's very cute.

A bit later at home, Tokimitsu immediately falls asleep because being so nervous all day exhausted him so much. When he wakes up two hours later and opens his phone, he sees you sent him a text. It's a picture of the teddy bear sitting on your bed with the message "He reminds me of you, so I named him Toki! He looks just like you💚"

Tokimitsu stares at the message for minutes and he's just so clueless on what to answer. He's definitely blushing just as much as after you kissed him on the cheek.

And even though he doesn't answer because he's way too nervous to figure out what to text back, you continue sending him pictures of the teddy and how you carry him along wherever you go, no matter if it's at your dinner table or on a short trip to the next convenience store.

With every picture you send him, Tokimitsu only falls more in love with you.

Toki Wartooth headcannons!

- get him a plushy of anything and he’ll love you forever seriously, “oh wowee thanks you for the plush! he’s my new friends” (tiny spoiler for army of the doomstar) when he lost his teddy bear I felt so bad he look devastated but when he got it back he was so happy it made me happy😭

-cat person!!! (obviously) so with that being said if you ever got him anything cat related like a cat sticker or a cat pin he will proudly show it off and tell everyone how you got it for him and ramble there ear off about it

-he can’t handle spicy food, he’ll snack on spicy chips depending on what they are but he would get overwhelmed if something is tooooo spicy for him

-toki def falls for those fake adds like “your computer has a virus” or answers those spam phone calls and thinks there real

-he has flavored toothpaste like watermelon or strawberry because he can’t handle mint flavor because it’s too strong for him

-makes random paper crafts like letters and paper rings just stuff like that yk, after he’ll make something he’ll decorate it with like glitter and stickers and make a mess

-his love language is gift giving and physical touch, dating or not he’ll give you things

-he hangs stuff up on the fridge like coloring pages he did or drawings (I think hes given pickles and charles stuff and they also hung it on the fridge)

-he’s a tea drinker, he’s not much a fan of coffee so he sticks with tea it also helps him falls asleep

-his handwriting is sloppy (same) that only he can read his handwriting

Toki is definitely a mountain hare to me !! Kind of basic especially since it is seen that he is a ‘rabbit’ creature in Dethcarraldo but idc !!

Also here’s a doodle of Toki with some Pokémon !! Teddiursa is definitely his starter, since he is seen to have a teddy bear that he really likes named deaddybear. I also drew him with two Pokémon that I think would fit in Skwisgaar’s team ! (Tho his swablu would be a Altaria in the long run haha)
