experience in RP — Been at it for ages on & off casually, really got into RP around 2016 or so when I tried out tumblr blogs as a format and really liked how it helped me organize things and space out my replies (even if sometimes I have the instinct to respond right away to some threads haha)

best experiences — Plenty. Lately I've had some great toku-inspired storylines with @5mind, and I always look back on threads I have with pals like @viopolis, @saizansha, @damnlamb, @outofthiisworld and everybody!

pet peeves/dealbreakers — More than once I've found myself held to rules that don't also apply to the person setting them, not a fan of that. Nor when I'm giving attention to their characters/world/lore but not really receiving the same regard, especially if we communicated OOC about it already or emphasized details get glossed over in threads.

muse preference ( fluff, angst, smut ) — I like variety and balance. Slice of life that can include fluff/angst/crack, but also just mundane ennui and more evenly paced humor. Action/adventure/mystery/situation comedy and stuff-- whether small or large scale helps diffuse a bit.

plot or memes — I try to reblog memes still as first interaction ice breakers, or even something to help get the ideas flowing with folks I already know. Plotting remains the best way to try and hash out specifics though!

long or short replies — Whatever gets the intent and feeling across at the time, as much or as little as that may be. I'm more interested these days in what folks have to say and how they say it than how "productive" they are.

best time to write — I try to belt out a response of some kind whenever I can, preferably sooner rather than later but this varies. Helps if available free time intersects with a surge of motivation/inspiration but sometimes you just gotta get something out there at all, even if conditions aren't optimal and the solar system's planetary bodies haven't converged yet. Not to say prioritize RP as #1, just don't be hard on yourself if things aren't perfect, y'know? It's a hobby.

are you like your muse?: In some ways, though I think over time my characters-- the ones I RP or write in original stories, have become exaggerations of traits, whether existing qualities of my own or not. Qualities I like/dislike, want to reconcile with, or aspire towards. Their experiences are larger than life but can still serve as metaphors for commonplace things we all deal with.

Closest to angst would be Scattered Dream/Far-Off Memory, from my AU where Fuwa and Aruto used to be friends before Gai did all his bullshit, but even then the fic still ends on a hopeful note.

The ending of Rooftops, Reveals, and Relief, probably. Hilbil dies in that one so I'm pretty happy about that.

Not really. Guess that's one of the benefits of writing for such small fandoms

Surprisingly as much as I Love writing angst, none of my published fics actually really end on an angsty note. The closest would have to be "Doing Your Best (And Still Failing)" because it was written about my WoL A'cera after losing his first fight with Zenos during Stormblood, so it's a bunch of his raw emotions from the encounter.

7. What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Probably "Just Exhale", which is my personal take on the end of the MSQ for Endwalker with my WoL Alyx after they land back in the Ragnarok following the encounter with Meteion.

Only in my rp's with Tibby lol, or Occasionally something that won't ever get published that's just for myself. Usually it's oc/canon stuff that's just self indulgent for the sake of it ~

There's a few honestly:

I have at least 5 different Hellhopper fics in my drafts, I would like to finish ONE of them at least someday

My fuckin multichapter Hotline Miami BikerJacket fic aughhh. I havent given up hope with it for how much of it I actually do have plotted out but god it'd take so long to write

I have a whole little various connected one shot series I was working on as a fix it series to the OOO 10th vcine, would love to finish them but I would have to rewatch OOO to pick the character voice back up for it

Dialogue, it's the thing everyone always points out to me that they enjoy in my writing and it's usually always the starting point for my fics

Prose lol. I struggle so hard sometimes with connecting scenes and describing whats happening when people aren't actively speaking. I've gotten better at it but it took a lot of conscious effort to learn it

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I rarely do it, most things I write are in my native language media already, but whenever I do it I usually just italicize it, write it in English and make mention of the language switch in the paragraph somewhere so the reader knows it's happened

DRAGON BALL Z BABEYYY I'm not ashamed of that I still love DBZ so much. I was so shameless and wrote my own oc to be Vegeta's cousin in one of my first fics and I had fun doing it. They've long since been deleted, not because I Wanted to do so but for other reasons I don't feel like going into rn.

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

"Help Me, Heal Me" by far out of my published ones. It's my most solid out of them and I feel like I really nailed Chris and Leon's dynamic well in it, it's the one I'm most proud of ~

i used to be so embarrassed about writing nsfw fic... well i wasn't always that way but then i went through a period of not writing any nsfw fic because i was into kids' anime about middle schoolers but then when i got into mdzs i was suddenly writing a lot of that after not having done so for a while and i was so self-conscious that i made a separate ao3 pseud for that stuff. not helped by the fact that i was in a mutuals circle of people whose attitude to nsfw stuff was "omg sex haha so funny 😂 haha penis 😂 omg look at this porn art it's so cursed 😂" that made sincere expressions of horniness feel kind of cringe not to mention a healthy dose of "ewww fujos" mentality that made me worry i was doing it wrong so i got really embarrassed of sharing the stuff i wrote... ok i'm getting sidetracked here but i have to interject to say i really dislike this mentality some people have of "being horny is good! but only if you're doing it in a cool logged-off way and fucking people irl. if you're writing smut fic or drawing porny art that isn't intellectually tasteful erotica then that's cringe joke material" anyway tangent over. so for the first part of my toku era i was also like. gghh i need to space out my nsfw fics i need to make sure there's enough sfw fics in between so i don't look Too Horny because that would be Too Much. looking back at that now i'm like what are you catholic. having friends who sincerely enjoy and appreciate the stuff i write in that capacity and don't have a sense of humor that's 50% "horny stuff is cursedfunnycringe" has helped a lot i'm glad i managed to outgrow that. anyway. soliloquy over

So I was browsing syosetu and it looks like there are Japanese women out there who want better toku-themed smut. I read a story where the Pink of a sentai team spent Christmas alone crying at home because her supposed friend White started dating Red. Then Pink confronted an obnoxiously loud neighbor and it turns out the neighbor was an enemy general alien werewolf. They then had rough, violent sex, formed romantic bond, and then ruthlessly slaughtered both of their organizations together.

from the description I don't know if this sounds "good" exactly but it definitely stands out from other shit I've seen. the pink happily dating the enemy monster is a very fresh concept

You first thought this was still your apartment house until you opened your eyes, and this is where you were invited to enter by its owner yesterday. There's still the feeling among your body—your wildness is still there, just like the sex at the sunset yesterday—the feeling of Riho's body contracting you, and all the invitations she gave are still in your memory. And after the dinner she prepared for you, there was the night where you were completely hers. Opening your eyes with your still-naked body in the large white blanket, you're still in your recovery mode after yesterday until you hear a familiar voice:

"Wake up yet, little babe? Don't know that you need that much time to recharge." - Riho's voice echoed from the kitchen.

That voice comes with some sizzling sounds; you better feel lucky since it's still early enough in the morning to both recover after filling her again and again yesterday and also not be too late at school.

After how much I filled your insides yesterday, you must not be that quick to recover, right? - I said, still a little bit sleepy.

“It's true, but I'm more than willing to help you recover, too!” -  Riho quipped with a playful smirk as she walked into the room, wearing a revealing silk robe that barely concealed her lingerie. "After all, you've been my rock last night, sweetheart." She approached the bed, her hips swaying enticingly, and sat down next to you. Placing a hand on your chest, she leaned in close, her breath warm against your skin. "But first, let's get some food in us. I made breakfast for us, just like I've always dreamed of doing for someone special." Riho then stood up, swaying her hips as she walked towards the door. "Come on, let's eat, and then we can decide how to fill our day, okay?"

You’re leading yourself around the clock, but you don’t mind too much about it yet. Your focus on her can bring out anything else, just like the way she’s continuing to wear only lingeries at home like yesterday, and it brings a wonder inside of you:

“Seems like it's not just yesterday, but it's everyday that you're only in your lingerie here, huh?” - you wonder about her.

"Oh, you noticed!" Riho giggled, turning back towards you with an impish grin. "Well, I like to keep things interesting, don't I? Plus, it's not like I have anyone else to see me in these except you. I guess you'll just have to get used to it."

She winked, and then continued towards the door. "But seriously, I feel comfortable like this when I'm alone. And now, with you here, I can even feel more comfortable. It's like having a little secret between us, isn't it?". As she exited the room, she called back to you, "Hurry up and join me, sweetheart. The food won't get any warmer waiting for you."

The word “warm” runs to your ear just to remind you of everything that happened yesterday, not just that sunset but also the whole night after. Every word from her just reminds you again and again. You started feeling like you wanted to start from something; indeed, you mocked her back: “It better warmer than my partner, which was inside a naked lady the whole last midnight, dear Miss Riho.”

Riho paused in the doorway, her eyes twinkling mischievously as she turned back to face you. "Oh, I can definitely help with that," she whispered, her voice low and sultry. "If you're still feeling a little chilly, I can always warm you up." She sauntered back towards the bed, her robe billowing around her as she moved. "Now, would you like a little tea to start? Or do you have other ideas in mind?". Her eyes danced with mischief as she leaned down, her breath warm against your ear. "We do have all day, after all... And I'm more than happy to find new ways to keep you warm."

Now you can imagine what's going to happen later, but there's still something blocking you out of it: your body is not in its state, and you have to be late for school if you're too into this quick time event. But you just want to have a test to see which side you would prefer—a half-quickie or a normal morning—and you can still have the whole time for her later after finishing this afternoon.

“It's always the best for more, but it seems like 4 rounds through the last midnight after only a dinner was an unfair deal for me, even when I was recovered after that.” - your test is now depending on her answer.

Riho chuckled softly, her hands resting on your chest as she looked into your eyes. "Is that so, little babe? I'm sure I could manage another round if you're up for it. But I understand if you need a break, too." She leaned in closer, her lips grazing your ear. "We can always find other ways to keep each other warm and satisfied. Like a nice, long massage? Or maybe something a little more... intimate?". Her fingers traced gentle circles on your chest, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "The choice is yours, my love. I'm always here to help you recover, in any way you like." As she leaned back, she added with a wink, "Besides, maybe I'm the one who needs warming up again."

Now you’re clear about the answer that you’re looking for, but you still want to mock her a bit. After all, you’re still just a student, aren’t you? That’s how a younger person plays, then.

“If you mean helping me recover is draining my partner, then you did it with a perfect home run yesterday, though." - It seems like yesterday is never a thing that can come out of your mind now, at least until there’s something new to enter your mind later.

"Oh, is that so?" Riho teased, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "I guess I'll just have to make sure I drain you properly today, then. After all, I can't have you being too exhausted to keep up with me." She playfully poked your chest, her grin never leaving her face. "But seriously, I'm happy to do whatever you need, little babe. You've been so wonderful to me, and I want to make sure you're taken care of, too." As she straightened up, she gestured toward the door. "Come on, let's get some food in us first. Then we can decide how to spend the day. Maybe we'll find a new way to keep each other satisfied." Riho's eyes sparkled with mischief, and she added with a smirk, "And who knows? Maybe I'll even let you cook for me if you promise to make up for my 'draining' you yesterday."

Cooking for her? You can’t remember when you properly “cook” something, even for yourself. As a single person, you’re proud enough to be a VIP customer of many food delivery brands.

“You don't know how much I paid for shippers for every meal every day, so don't expect my cooking though," - you said as you show her your “Diamond Certification” VIP level of your favorite food delivery app.

Riho laughed softly, her laughter echoing through the room. "Oh, I know you're a busy man, sweetheart. But cooking together can be fun, and besides, I want to see if you're as talented in the kitchen as you are in bed." She winked playfully before turning around and walked towards the kitchen, her hips swaying enticingly in the loose robe. "Come on, let's get started. We can chat more while we cook.". As you followed her, you couldn't help but admire the way she moved, her curves accentuated by the thin fabric of her lingerie. She seemed to know exactly how to tease you without crossing any lines (for now). But you crossed the thickest lines yesterday already, you gotta take the initiative now: “How about...ordering something to eat? I prefer to continue our job last night while waiting for the shippers then!” - you know your offer is too bold, but you don't know how to describe your want more gentle.

Riho turned around, her hands on her hips, and raised an eyebrow. "Oh, are you really that eager to continue our 'business'?" she teased, her voice dripping with false disappointment. "But fine, if that's what you really want, I suppose we can skip breakfast entirely." She walked back towards the bed, her hips swaying provocatively, and climbed onto the mattress, spreading her legs invitingly. "Come here, my love," she purred, patting the spot beside her. "I'll treat you to something special." As you joined her on the bed, Riho pulled the sheets and blankets aside, exposing her bare bottom and the lingerie-clad curve of her ass. "Now, what do you want me to do first?" she asked, her eyes full of mischief. "Should I tease you a bit, or do you want to get straight to the action?"

Now, you’re between two roads that she spread to you. Even when you choose the quick-time-event choice, your desire cannot decide where you should lead to:

You know you need this, but you start looking at her. It seems like you’re about to wake up a beast that is only waiting for your invitation to take the lead.

Riho's eyes twinkled with mischief. "It's okay, baby," she assured you, her fingers tracing gentle circles around your head. "You can always rely on me to satisfy your every need." Sweat trickled down her forehead, mixing with her makeup, making her look even more desirable. She wrapped her arms around your waist, holding on tightly as she rode you relentlessly. In response, you gripped her hips tighter, matching her pace and thrusting upward to meet her every movement. Your breathing grew heavier, matching hers, and soon enough, you both lost yourself in the rhythm of their passionate dance. “I'm so close...ah...I'm really close, Riho!” - you are so ready for your “fifth” release, as both of you agreed to call it so.

Riho gasped, her eyes widening as she felt your grip on her hips tighten. "Me too, baby," she breathed, her voice shaky. "Let's finish this together, please!". Your bodies moved in unison, sweat glistening on her skin and her hair tousled and disheveled from the intense session. Riho threw her head back, her cries growing louder and more desperate. Finally, as you reached the peak, Riho screamed your name, her muscles clamping down on you. In response, you released deep within her, your release pulsating inside her warmth. For a few moments, you lay there, panting heavily, locked in each other's embrace. She knew what she needed to do; she lay forward, placing her nipples on your lips. You didn’t ignore the gift as you opened your mouth and swallowed it one last time.

When you finally broke away, Riho grinned cheekily. "Better order double, huh?" she said, her voice still ragged from passion. "Just in case we need energy later." Despite the mess they were in, Riho jumped off you, her smile never fading. "C'mon, hurry up and clean up, babe. Let's enjoy our meal before heading to school.". After a while recovering, you only have 10 minutes left, still enough to ask her for something last: “What a way to warm up for school, Riho-san. After today, I will have a holiday. What should I do with you?” - you asked her.

Riho’s expression shifted to excitement. "Holiday?! Oh, that sounds amazing! How about we plan a trip somewhere nearby? Someplace where nobody knows us, and we can truly relax and enjoy ourselves?". She grabbed her phone and quickly searched for potential destinations, humming happily as she browsed through the options. "There's this beautiful island resort I found recently; what do you think?". As you finished dressing, Riho continued discussing plans excitedly. "Or we could staycation instead! Have you ever tried those luxurious hotels with private pools and personal chefs?". Her eyes sparkled with anticipation, clearly looking forward to spending quality time with you. 

"Whatever we choose, I want it to be memorable." - that’s how you know you chose the right person to love.

“Resorts have got to be a little bit risky, and I don't want anyone to record our loving time to post on porn sites either. Our images, especially your job, will get damaged because of that, you know.” - After all, safety must be on top of your mind.

Riho nodded thoughtfully, putting her phone down. "That makes sense," she agreed, her brow furrowing slightly. "Staying local might be safer, then. Besides, we can always book a secluded villa or something similar." She smiled brightly once more, her spirits lifting instantly. "So many places offer privacy, and I bet they have lovely amenities. How does that sound to you?". Riho took your hand, leading you towards the door. "Let's start searching together, alright? This holiday has to be extra special since we'll be taking time off work and spending our love together in a different place. But only after today’s school, deal?"

Of course, your answer is nothing more than “deal.”. Her eyes lit up with enthusiasm, and she added enthusiastically, you just put a smile on her as you say a temporary goodbye to her for a long day at school, but you also understand that there will be a long (or not) holiday after this to enjoy with her.

"Wife" - A Beyond Evil fic... based on this ONE scene that seemed to be so gay lol

Unread - A Descendant of the Sun fic set around the moment priot to the main leads reunion after the guy supposed died/went MIA on a mission

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Sometimes. Usually when people ask me stuff in the comments I'll definitely give some replies. Or if there's a very enthusiastic one that I can't help responding. Or just to thank people for the comments.

6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Unh... this one was a very hard question lol, since I wrote plenty of angsty fic. Heck, my main genre had been angst. Though I guess some of my angstiest fic I've written would be the one I wrote for the Hidarime Tantei Eye jdrama. There's this one Anti Hope AU I did about a scenario where Ainosuke was so in denial about his older brother's death that he actually created a delusion that his brother was still alive.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Hehehe. Another hard stuff, one because I wrote more angst than fluff... and another, I'm not sure that I'm the write person to have a proper opinion about this XD. But if talking about my recent works... I might say my TanuKitsune series. Which basically referring to Sleeping Tanuki.

8. Do you get hate on fics? I did used to get some, just because I mainly wrote LuluKallen pairing in the Code Geass fandom. But in terms of flames... I already forgot about it cos that's like so many years ago.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Hehe. Nowadays... yes. I wrote quite an amount, openly and anonymously. Mostly from the Geats fandom.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written? I used to. I wouldn't say any of them came close to being described as 'crazy'. Cos there's one on CCS/YGO and KR/SS multiverse project that revolves around Decade and Gokaiger. In terms of scale, I guess the Gokaiger one was crazy. Like imagine trying to add more inside lore to the one in series since Gokai barely delve too deep when doing all the episodes with the previous teams. Or if you count that tiny crossover I did in some of my Geats fic, yeah that's crazy. Like KR Geats and Team Batista series had NOTHING in common between them.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Has it happened before? I don't really remember.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Several times. I've got someone asking me if they could translate my fic into Russian, and several other requests asking to translate my fics into Mandarin. I forgot if there were any other requests for other languages besides those two.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Nope.

14. What's your all-time favorite ship? Kouga/Kaoru is still my all-time fav even if I don't write too much Garo fic. In that case, KeiAce probably fit the bill more now.

15. What's a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will? Passing the Torch - because it'll require me to rewatch the episodes and the corresponding tribute series that by know I don't think I'll have enough attention span and time to do and think up stuff.

16. What are your writing strengths? To be honest, half the time I'm not sure what's my real strength in anything. But depending on my level of hyper-focusing at a time I can be pretty good at keeping the voice of my characters... and sometimes people say that I could emulate the same writing style as the original writers, which had been one of the sweetest compliments I've ever received.

17. What are your writing weaknesses? Dialogues... maybe, because sometimes I have harder time trying to voice out my characters thoughts on something... also I get distracted/derailed easily so half the time the plot just ran off on its own.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? I usually avoid it unless I'm proficient in said language.

19. First fandom you wrote for? Gensoumaden Saiyuki, I think. Goku/Sanzo

Have an opinion for you Zubat! Tell me your point of view:

People in the toku fandom drawing porn are in no way different to bronnies. They're Sexualizing children's media with the addition that they're portraying a REAL human being.

AND even by taking into account Zyuran Robo Dick fanart I stand by my point! Is still children's media and it's kinda creepy.

it's better or worse depending on where you look, on one side japanese kids won't see western made porn by simply googling their fav shows and characters, as a young mlp fan would be exposed, the porn made in jp, kr and other countries where these shows air is a problem. the other side is the use of the likeness of a actor/actress, which I hope I don't need to explain how horrible that is, no such problem exists when using animated characters.

when it comes to a character that's basically a suit, like doggie krugger, juran and ryu commander, there's still the moral issue of using a kids' show character. Looking at the history of fandons in general porn seems to be... inevitable, be people drawing on their own, making smut fanfics, distributing zines, and ofc, posting on the internet, sanitizing the internet of this stuff for the sake of children is noble, but unrealistic.

So I condone the use of the likeness of a person, bc I think that's the minimum, the rest, well, at least no one is directly harmed if you keep it away from children.

Who and what do you find the easiest to write for toku people? Like who's easiest to write fluff/bickering/adventure/spice/whatever?

This is a really great question that I've been coming back to and staring at for several days as I try to figure out how to answer it. Unfortunately I’m realizing that the problem is that a lot of these answers are contextual--writing a particular mood for a particular character is mostly about headspace, so what works best is going to vary from day to day. There are, though, a few characters who lend themselves to particular moods.

Fluff--I can write fluff for anyone. Even if they’re evil. But I feel like Sento and Banjou are really easy to write fluff for, as are any combination of Gokaigers. Kurenai Wataru is very easy to write fluff for also, as long as it’s non-romantic. Honestly, now that I think of it, if a character suffers a lot, it’s generally easier for me to write something nice for them.

Bickering/Banter--writing fast-paced chatter for me is less a question of who I’m writing and more of how many people I’m writing, it’s easier with larger groups of characters. I think probably one of the best examples I’ve got of this is this one goofy Magiranger fic. Unless of course we’re talking about flirting, in which case the easiest characters to write are Noël and Captain Marvelous, and sometimes Kadoya Tsukasa (but only when he’s evil).

Adventure--frankly I don’t think I’m particularly good at writing adventure stuff for anyone, especially not if there’s combat. The only kind of adventure I’m particularly comfortable with or good at is crime adventure, so as far as toku goes that’d be Daiki, the Gokaigers, the LupinRangers, Balance and Naaga...you know, criminals.

Spice--this one is sort of the most changeable category. I actually write a lot of spicy/smutty fic, I just don’t post most of it. Anyway, please excuse the TMI, but the easiest characters for me write that sort of thing about is entirely just, Who Is Commie Feeling Horny About Today. The only serious criteria is that (even if the ship is complete nonsense or impossible, which it sometimes is) I have to be able to imagine all parties actually enjoying each other’s company, or at least finding each other attractive. The most difficult smut fic I think I’ve ever written was the one Marvelous/Tsukasa piece I wrote, because I don’t feel like they like each other much and so I had to find a way for them to want to do something together that didn’t feel entirely contrived.

Weirdly, though, late 90s/early 00s Ultra heroes are very easy to get spicy with and I couldn’t tell you why.
