• It most definitely took a while to get used to, I mean being able to go from a human to a tiny floating blob of stars isn't something that you get a tutorial for after getting isekai'd. But the opportunities you get to mess with the characters are more than worth it.

• Most people that see you don't think much more than merely a seelie that was graced with a bit of the Creator's energy so they don't bother you much. Of course, violence against anything that the creator has recognized is strictly prohibited and a crime punishable by a life sentence.

• Start following anyone around and you will make them have a brain-dead moment with how many times they have thought the creator is near them.

• Oh and characters like Xiao and Scara can't even swat you away, but unfortunately, they can still ignore you and probably will for some time. Luckily after a while, they will warm up to you and if you decide to leave to confuse another poor soul will most definitely track you down to see if you're okay. My heartttt

• Now some characters like Tighnari and Zhongli would slowly catch on to that you aren't exactly just a seelie. Tighnari would probably leave it at that but Zhongli is a bit more tricky since he has experience in shape-shifting and is way too knowledgeable about anything connected to the creator, you either run now or are exposed and there's no in-between.

• I just can't get over how hilarious a cute, small, hyperactive seelie would look following around the calm and scary characters. Imagine Cyno threatening someone to scare them into spilling info about a runaway thief and you peacefully sleeping between his ears on his headpiece, or Scara berating his subordinates while there's a seelie just nudging his hand trying to get his attention.

Just want to point out a few things I love!! :)

That one instance [screenshot from this post below] of Grian's eyes being depicted as purple after he joins Scar's crew (and presumably whatever incident left him almost dead/"injured and unconscious"), as opposed to the brown they were as a kid? The strong implication that something (or someone? the watchers perhaps? I'm assuming it's something to do with the old crew that took them in as kids) were responsible for it.

And excuse me again for taking a screenshot [from this post], but the one image in which Grian's eyes are obscured by a bandage, complete with a watcher symbol and a glowing purple eye?? And Pearl's eyes being purple too? And they're both dressed in purple robes... just. insane /pos

The watchers are typically depicted as an oppressive force, and yet they both look happy. IDK. Something something juxtaposition, childhood innocence versus the purple symbolising something that's very widely regarded as cruel or even evil.

I'm not very good at detailing moth wings which is why I went for more of a starry feel, so I'm glad you like it 😆

And since you've asked so kindly, I could share some ideas rotating in my head,

When you're a kid, I don't think you realize as much the cruelty adults are capable of. Especially when they've been treating you kindly for the most part, and the progression to harsher conditions and punishments is slow. (Pearl would've been the first to notice.)

Grian and Pearl were already stealing to survive, having nothing but each other, so when the given the offer to be spared from their decimated town, and leave as a pirate, they took it. Grian would regret that a lot later :D

I've also been pondering over the idea that no one, including Grian, realized he was an avian, because he wasn't born with wings. So was taken from his nest by hunters who'd thought he'd been stolen (hybrids aren't always treated well, and sometimes hunted down in this au, though by the time they're adults that seems to change a bit), and then taken to an orphanage (which he'd run away from) when they couldn't afford to raise him for very long.

On the other hand, Pearl was born with her traits and would live in hiding with her parents for the first few years of her life, before it'd just be her mother and her, and then just Pearl as hunters had gotten to them.

So when the two met, Grian would often use the fact that they look similar to his advantage, like "Well I'm her brother, do I seem like a hybrid? Then neither is she!"

I think in return for certain protection, Pearl would've taught him some of the basics of the alphabet and reading,

And later when they're recruited to be raised as pirates, maybe Grian would be better at the magic stuff, whereas Pearl would be better at the fighting aspect. Idk I just like the thought that they'd cover each other's bases :D

And during the beginning of the period of time where they're separated, I think there would be mishaps where they expected the other to be there, the way it'd always been.

Something something, survivors guilt and Grian maybe not being as kind and trusting as he used to be, and never making promises. Still loyal although all his presence has ever achieved is death.

Something something, Pearl still clings to the feather he'd once given her, keeps searching because she knows he's alive - he has to be alive, still wonders about if she had just been stronger—

and maybe Pearl sees a bit of her old sun in Gem, and maybe Grian learns to trust in others and himself again with Scar.

UGHHHH I’m at work so I feel like I can’t give a completely proper rundown of my feelings but the new SOL FIC MY HEARTTTT 😭

The poor thing has been through so much and she’s trying so hard to heal from all of it. I love the way you’ve written this arc of her journey since coming to live with Ingrid and Mapi. It’s raw and real and honest and you just so invite people into this world and make it such an easy environment to love. SOL is so easy to love.

I really appreciate the inclusion of Ingrid’s perspective on the whole thing as well. Her conflicting thoughts make a lot of sense, but it’s still nice to see her put Sol first above all. And of course, Mapi balancing taking care of both Ingrid and Sol is very sweet (thank you for Frido!)

Also - the addition of Patri, Pina, and Esmee (of all people not who I was expecting but I LOVED it) is just such a bright spot. They’re hilarious, they’re sweet, and it’s nice to see Sol get to have some friends her own age and just be able to enjoy her life.

And through the years the sexual tension has done nothing but grow. But Lando refuses to deal with his feelings head on, always always turning the other way, taking of quicker than a racing car could.

So when you one day joke about you two dating, in that casual flirty tone, that you and Lando has developed with each other through all the longing stares and lingering touches, Lando unexpectedly shoots it down. In the same “joking-but-actually-serious-manner” he tells you that your friendship as it is perfect, that gambling with your dynamic isn’t an option.

This continues to happen the next time the you get a bit too flirty. And then again, despite Lando himself activity participating in you guy’s banter. And you become more and more heartbroken. How could he be so against you as a girlfriend? “What would even change in your dynamic, to everyone around you it seems like you’re dating.” All this of course you don’t say, instead you just listen to the hurtful remarks from him about how silly you would be as a couple.

And then one night after a race and many wild hours with champagne and celebration, you stumble onto Carlos on a balcony. You’ve always been friends. Of course not as close as you and Lando, no one is as close as you and Lando. But still, you know each other pretty well.

And then all of a sudden Carlos kisses you. You’re taken aback for a second, and before you even comprehend it you’re asking “Carlos what about our friendship” and he looks at you while grinning across his entire face and says: “What the hell let’s just ruin it” And that’s all it takes for you to fall right back into his arms, and later all the way into his hotel room. After finally having heard those words, even though it wasn’t from who you had dreamed.

You don’t tell Lando the next day. Actually Lando doesn’t see you for almost two days, which is ridiculously rare and drives him nuts. He knows something is up. There are many clues but what really gets his brain turning is the extremely informationless responds he gets on his text “lost you at the party last night, how did you end up finding your way home? know u get lost every place u go hahaha”.

But of course Lando finds out, it takes him three days, but still, he finds out. And his world comes crashing down. He’s furious, he feels completely betrayed by both you and Carlos, he wants to cry and destroy his hotel room, and lock you away somewhere so that you’ll never look at Carlos’s stupid face again, and only see Lando’s own.

And then he realizes that he fucked up, bad. He suddenly sees how holding on to your guys friendship so tight that it would never change, so that he would always have you at least from a far, actually did change everything. And now when he looks at you it’ll still be from a far but it will probably also be with your hand intertwined with Carlos’s and not his.

So, the Quinn and Darlin relationship really just gives us a great chance to explore a bad relationship. Depending on the fic, I tend to slide it along a scale. In some of them, like Scars That Remind, Quinn is a villainous, predatory monster that thinks Darlin belongs to him. In Long Time No See, Darlin mourns him when he's dead even though he's a monster in that one too, but there Darlin was more canon in that they'd sort of been letting it go on and on because they didn't really believe they deserved to make him stop. When they finally did, they had guilt over it and they mourned the parts of him that they'd cared for.

I also like some where they were definitely friends for a while and Quinn cared in the way that he could, but ultimately he does things that aren't okay (at all!) and Darlin has to draw a line. I'm putting the Tattoo AU Quinn essay below because it's dark and maybe not what you want for your hc of Quinn in the tattoo au? Up to you if you want to peek behind that curtain, my friend!! <3

The Tattoo AU is a no magic au and a lot different from canon in that Darlin didn't know any of the pack growing up. But they did pretty okay! They're rough and tumble, had plenty of hardships but got through it. For a handful of years there Darlin was doing well and happy. They were maybe nineteen when they first met Quinn, who was probably closer to thirty. He was charming and confident and they got along well. He made Darlin feel important and seen. They were inseparable and for a while it would have been great. But Tattoo AU Darlin isn't a pushover and Quinn likes to have everything his way, he likes to belittle and pick at people. Darlin argues. They fight. At first they fight and make up and it's part of their rhythm but the fights get bigger and the stretches between making up get longer.

Tattoo AU Darlin finally recognizes that pile of red flags and calls it. They dump him. He laughs and calls bullshit but they stand by it. He tries to argue, but they're done. A while later he comes back and tries to make up, but they're done. And Quinn snaps. There's no build up of physical altercations leading to that one horrific night, he just goes off like the violence was always there, it was just in his words and those sharp smiles, waiting.

Tattoo AU Quinn still thinks it was Darlin's fault for not letting him come back when he wanted to. If they hadn't tried to dump him, it wouldn't have happened--or so he tells himself, and them, and anyone else he can.

ghoul design ask! what's been your favourite ghoul design so far and why?

MAAAANNN….i love all of them a lot but i’m gonna have to say swiss and dew Equally bc i draw them the most so obviously i’ve put the most thought into their designs. i am very fond of my mountain design too bc i’ve seen other people draw that design and pick up things from my design of him which Ugh warms my fuckin heartttt

but my dew design is so dear to me because i Genuinely put a lot of thought into it. one of his eyes is damaged and he is almost fully blind in it (it was burned during his transition), his stupid ass hair, his spikes, everything about him i’ve based off of little things and although i’m still working on it, i very much love what i’ve been able to produce when it comes to his design (although i still cant get that fuckers nose the way i want it to look)

as for swiss, bro has gone through the ringer when it comes to me deciding on a design for him. but like dew, i’m happy with what i have for him so far. specifically the other tattoos i just recently added and ESPECIALLY his expressions. i always have fun adding little lines to his face and marks because of how expressive he is and (looks into the camera) Everyone should give swiss ghoul dimples and wrinkles and smile lines.

GOD DAMN the art of just... clover struggling to pull themself to rest against their back... the camera panning up to birdsong... the credits................. Clover is gone and it had to happen and they were only here for *a single day* but they changed *everything* I just don't even know what to say. thats just art Clover's funeral/sendoff was beautiful too... at first i was like MARTLET NOOO DONT LEAVE CLOVER'S HAT and then i was just. wait. fu ck FUCKKKK !!! UNDERTALLLEEEEE Clover was really just a blip in all their lives, for less than 24 hours did they know the kid, but Clover really did change everything. for the better.... goddddddddddddddddd this game truely captured what made undertale so great anyways. im soo going to check out a genocide playthrough next. and completely bawl my eyes out again TRYUFTGH tldr THANK YOU FOR CONVINCING ME TO CHECK UTYELLOW OUT <33333 SO AWESOME SO COOL WOOPING CHEERING i am going to bed ^_^

I just wanna say that I adore Axis. He's so freaking silley and I adore him so much. Guardener also was...wow. Genuinely chilling to see her go back to sleep. (Also I love the fact she's a female robot and yet doesn't have like. Feminine things. She's just a robot. Who needs female stuff on a robot. Aka HER DESIGN IS AWESOME!!)

AND AUGH CEROBA'S FIGHT (fun fact I'm listening to A Mother's Love right now. Such a good song, haunting with her scream.) I said it before, with the haunting scream of her shattered hopes of continuing her husband's work and dreams of seeing her daughter again. The Hopes and Dreams motif is chilling, especially with how discordant it is, really symbolizing how it's all shattering around her.

The fight was insane. I love it. But HOOO

AND THE HUG. THEY REALLY WERE JUST A KID, MY FREKAING HEART, AAAUGGHHH!!! Starlo is watching his child choose to sacrifice themselves for Monsterkind, what could be more just. But what could be more tragic? Also Ceroba needed a longer hug.

Also genocide....HOOO it really is dark and tragic. But I have Thoughts...about Starlo. And how he was handled there. Because HOO BOI, he deserved better

- Ian starts out as a fry cook at patsy's and soon discovers he's fantastic at cooking. He lip and Fiona decide to rebrand patsy's and sales skyrocket. They open two more diners before Ian meets Mickey again

- Mickey learned how to cook inside, got released super early bc he's amazing and the courts realized his case was bull, went to culinary school, and the minute his probation finished he was off starting restaurants around the country. He has 11 total, including one in London and one in Mexico- the one in London has two Michelin stars.

- from a "professional" standpoint, Mickey has more awards and is the "better" chef but Ian rules Chicago. They fall back together QUICKLY, right around when food network offers Ian a cooking show (he's very home cooking based, and he explains things really well) and Mickey is a guest for one of the episodes and food network snatches him up Immediately

- Mickey only hires ex-cons, Ian makes a point to hire mentally ill people

- food network has a bracket based competition called tournament of champions and by some twist of fate Ian and Mickey compete against one another to be the semi finalist for the eastern half of the country. Ian wins the season of toc because he's amazing and there's no one Mickey would've rather lost to

- Mickey is convinced to come on worst cooks in America as co host for one (1) season, he is so stressed he's used to working with irresponsible cooks but these people don't know anything AND ITS STRESSING HIM OUT E THAT LADY IS GONNA START A FUCKING FIRE

Ohhhh yes I do Mushie!!! Actually been just a litttle obsessed with Karlnap since we haven’t seen them together in so longggg I’m going crazy!! We have the most real tickle clips from those two, I miss their touchiness so much. 🥺🥺🥺

Karl is a total and utter tickle monster. And he is already so touchy so it’s hard to know when he is going to attack. He’ll give Sap a few completely innocent hugs and cuddles all day until Sap is fine and just melting back into each one. Then, Karl will get ‘im.

He’s really gotten to know just how to tickle Sapnap. He worms his hands into his armpits from behind his back. He pokes and grabs at his chest. He’ll grab his shoulders and squeeze at that spot where they meet his neck. Grab at his thighssss. Sap usually is so cuddled in at that point tnat he is trapped and has to fight his way out to prevent the tickle torture.

Karl always makes the stupidest most flustering noises when he tickles people. It makes Sap so mad. I totally headcannon Karl as more of a “tickle tickle tickle” person than a “well thought-out tease” person. He just spits out a random assortment of noises to match his quick fingers and that all he needs babyyyy. If anything he’ll gush about how ‘handsome’ and ‘cute’ Sapnap is because that makes him blush.

Sapnap is more used to regular teasing from his roommates so Karl’s use of crazy noises and baby talk just drives him up a wall. Flustered beyond max. And Karl lovesssss to fluster Sapnap.

I headcannon Karl as the person most likely to initiate the tickling, and Sap as the one to win (most of the time). He’s just stronger. And a little meaner. Sap takes things too serious and Karl takes things too goofy. (Fun pair 🥰 I love them together). Sapnap, my baby, my little hot-head. Short king. The second he gets the upperhand he is all pride and all cocky. He is the one to zero in on Karl’s worst spot (which I hc is his neck/shoulders). Karl is easy too, deathly ticklish. And he more chooses when to fight back.

For my headcannons I typically keep everyone at the “hates being tickled”-neutral. They can fall into categories of usually-wins/loses or usually-initiates/gets tickled, but still the vibe is ‘try to make the tickling stop if it’s happening to me’. But…I kind of love Karl as a more traditional lee ahhh?? He’s so touchy. And if any of the boys would be unashamed to admit they kind of like the closeness and energy of being tickled it’s totally him. Super cute for him gahh. Picture him squirming underneath Sapnap and just giggling away with his hands gripping his cute little curls 🥺✨. Those adorable giggles my heartttt.
