She fixes her home, instead of her man.
She gives thanks, instead of orders.
She uses her voice for kindness, instead of evil.
She makes a warm dinner, instead of trouble.
She puts up flowers, instead of her guard.
She opens her heart, instead of an act.

Hey, trad girlies! Just be aware of the fact that the real traditional man who would be willing to protect, provide, be faithful and be a real man to a woman is not the kind of man who would be sharing p*rn on Tumblr and calling himself "daddy" on the internet, just saying. Be careful.

What does the Bible say about dressing modestly, and in a God honoring way?
Well well well, if it isn't me, breaking Christian hearts. I've done it a lot (while being pagan, while being atheist, and now being Christian).
My problem, is that SOO many tradwives on here put looking amazing as their top priority, while calling themselves Christian. Girlies, imma be honest with you. You're full of shit.
I recently saw a post on how to dress nice as a housewife, and omg, literally the first line was to wear accessories.
First of all, it literally say in 1Timothy 2:9-10:
"Likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, but with what is proper for women who profess godliness—with good works."
So, HOW to be modest?
A pretty simple question, yet still hard to answer.
1. Be gentle
2. Help people
3. Fear God
4. Be quite ("quick to listen, slow to speak" James 1:19)
(Most of the rules you need to follow, you can find in James' book!)
"Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious."
1Peter 3:3-4
Also, a common misconception I see:
"Dressing modestly for you husband"
No!?!!!? You should dress modestly for GOD. If you're not married, you're in a relationship, OR you are married, your husband is not the one you should be dressing modestly for! It's God!
Dressing modestly is a way to honor God. Covering up is a way to show respect to him.

I hate being the person who’s like “you should watch and read historical fiction that’s unflinching about bigotry to understand how far we’ve come!” because actual historical research is best of all but I do actually think that a ton of tradwives and stay at home girlfriends could benefit from being Ludovico Technique-d with a combination of postwar French New Wave, audio readings of various 18th century exploitation novels, and The Law According to Lidia Poët

Can we please stop asking housewives “but what if [insert very unlikely bad thing] happens?”
We wouldn’t have married these men if we thought they would betray our trust. Leave us alone!! Stop projecting!!!!!
