Workout today for TDOR. As I scrolled through the list of 286 names from Nov. 20th 2016 - today that have lost their lives due to trans violence, I wondered why people don’t see this as a problem. Then I remembered because it’s not directly effecting their lives. Just like most IMPORTANT issues. Ya’ll need to wake up. Please. Take a moment of silence for these lives lost. I accomplished 236 push-ups and 50 chin ups totaling the 286 lives lost. I have had a few trans friends that had taken their own lives in the last year because they couldn’t endure the hate and negativity that a lot of people bring into this world. The descriptions of some of these murders are heartbreaking. My heart is heavy today. Every single one of these souls are in my thoughts and prayers today as well as every trans brother and sister struggling. I’m here for you, I love you and I will kick some ass on your behalf.
