So I just finished watching Transformers: Rescue Bots, and here are my thoughts:

Yes, I’ve watched some episodes as kid. Yes, I wanted to rewatch it to relive good memories. Yes, I love the Bots. My favorites are all of them, but Heatwave is my most favorite. My favorites Burns Family member(s) are Dani and Graham. Yes, I ship Heatwave and Chase. Yes, I hate Morocco so much, I wanna pop him like a zit. Yes, I love QuickShadow and Hightide. I don’t know if I have a favorite episode. No, I don’t think it’s childish. Yes, I find Kade annoying. Yes, I loved how Optimus Prime and Bumblebee made appearances. Yes, I love every funny moment they gave. Yes, Blurr is also annoying, but he has his moments. Yes, I think the Pynches are also annoying. Yes, I love their Dino-Bot modes, they’re badass. And through it all, yes, I love the show so much and it’s worth it

One out of four OG Rescue Bots done!

I might adjust the blending modes more on Blades so you can see the flag colors more clearly, but I’m too lazy to do it rn

Not all of the flag colors are the exact headcanons I have for them, I just needed flags that suited the amount of places to color… the flags do still apply to him and Dani though :)

If you want to know, all the flags/flag colors Blades has right now are:

Gay flag (on the, y’know, big banner stick he’s on. It’s also on the paint splatter on his copter blade)

Pansexual flag (on his windshield thingy and the party banner flags, sorry there are 0 technical terms its 4 am. This flag applies to both him and Dani)

Transgender flag (painted on his left arm and on his left leg)

Queergender flag (painted on his right arm and right leg)

Genderfluid flag (in his left leg rotor)

Genderflux flag (in his right leg rotor)

And the rainbow, of course, partially on the lower party banner and his left shoulder’s paint splatter!

That should be all of them, I might change them tho since they’re pretty redundant (I might change one to be ace or poly, depends since I still need the flags for the other three)

Tell me your RB headcanons and I’ll see if I can include them!

Como están mis calabacitas!? Yo muy bien si me preguntan los estudios para mi no son un gran problema y mas bien son los momentos en que obtengo mas inspiración aunque claro no descuido para nada mis estudios.

Y para seguír con los rescue bots versión decepticons! Quise hacer mas dibujos de ✨¡¡¡BOULDER!!!✨

Y gracias a esta amable calabaza de verdad muchas gracias @annabelle-creart me dio por hacer esta pequeña animación para mostrar el cambio de los ojos de boulder ya que si recuerdan bien boulder tiene ojos amarillos cúbicos pero debes en cuando es capaz de tener unos ojos rojizos como los de un decepticon en forma de rombo como los de blades

Asi se ve mas o menos paso a paso la transición.

Bueno también quise hacer como lo dije anteriormente en el dibujo de presentación de boulder versión decepticon dije que explicaría un poco mas sobre el tema de los audífonos que trae (es una excusa para mostrarles este lindo dibujito :3)

El boulder de este AU sería como un adolescente al ser el menor entre sus hermanos, aun así como en la serie también le gusta la naturaleza y el arte.

El es curioso y bastante ingenuo cosa que lo hace un blanco fácil para el resto de decepcións qué tratan de molestarlo o aprovecharse de el por eso mismo sus hermanos siempre le tienen un ojo encima.

Aunque curiosamente las pocas veces que se a encontrado con autobots estos claro al principio son muy desconfiados pero al ver que es solo un malvavisco le dan bastante cariño al ser como un oso gigante super amoroso por eso mismo aveces lo usan como carnada o sus hermanos se ponen bastante sobre protectores (excepto blades el le vale verga todo y es muy relajado por eso mismo hasta parece estar en las dr0gas algunas veces pero simplemente es un loquito del centro jeje XD)

(por favor ignoren el otro dibujo en la derecha ese me quedo horrible 🫣) Sus audífonos se asemejan a unos de cable los normales que te puedes encontrar en cualquier tienda la verdad, en sus cascos auditivos en el medio hay un orificio que se asemejan al oído y es hay por donde se conectan los audífonos.

Y bueno nada esto sería todo espero que les haya gustado mucho la pequeña animación que les hice me tomo un poco de tiempo asi qué mas les vale gustarles! Y bueno nada mis calabacitas esto sería todo y recuerden...

What's your au about?

Beholder AU

Basically, back on Cybertron being a Rescue Bot was a growing occupation. And to make sure that the newly graduated bots knew what they were doing, for the first 1,000 rescue missions they went on they had a supervisor with them. This supervisor is either an currently active rescue bot, or a former rescue bot/teacher.

Chase, Blades, and Boulder were a team of three young rescue bots(they are between 1,400-1,600 years old.) All three of them were built for rescue work and don't really know anything other than that. When the three graduated they were placed with their supervisor Heatwave, a professor at the academy.

Heatwave is significantly older than the three(I haven't decided his exact age yet, but old enough that as sparklings he and Orion Pax/Optimus were good friends. Hes also significantly taller, being only a few feet shorter than Optimus) Unlike the three he was not built for rescue work, he was built for combat. He fought in a few small civil wars and or skirmishes. Eventually though wars stopped happening and Heatwave was thrown into the gladiator pits where he stayed for years. After some time he escaped the pits and joined the academy where he graduated, carried out quite a few missions, then became a teacher.(If you can't tell Heatwave is both my favorite bot and the character that is most developed in this AU at the moment.) Due to Heatwave once being a warrior, he has built in weapons systems.

On their 999th mission, they receive a distress call. The four find an abandoned Cybertron ship, and an energon eater. This mission goes almost exactly the same to how it went in the show; they had to go into stasis, Heatwave programed the Sigma to reactivate when they got a priority prime message, they didn't get one until Optimus Prime sent one out. When they land on earth Optimus greets them. Boulder is extremely exited at the prospect of earth because he had never been to an organic planet before. Blades is terrified to stay on earth because its nothing like Cybertron. Chase is mildly interested and wishes to read up on Earth laws before making any decisions. Heatwave is more confused than anything because who the scrap decided to make Orion Pax a Prime?(He knows how much trouble Orion used to get into when he was younger.) They all push their ship into a warehouse where Optimus explains what happened to Cybertron to the bots. Ofc they're devastated. Privately Heatwave asks Optimus what they're going to do with Chase, Blades, and Boulder, because the three had never seen war before. Optimus agrees that they can't send those bots out into war, so he calls agent fowler. When Fowler gets to the warehouse Boulder is the most giddy to meet him. Optimus explains what's happening and asks Fowler to find a place that the rescue bots can continue to be rescue bots. Now Fowler knows someone from his days in the military, the someone was a police chief now. And that someone was Chief Charlie Burns.

Blah, blah, blah, they all scan new vehicles and meet Chief. Blah, blah, blah.

Heatwave stays with the bots, as this would be their 1,000th mission and he wants to make sure everything works out and that they are protected.

In this AU everyone would act practically the same as canon out in the open. But behind closed doors or alone this is how they would act(some closer to canon than others.)

Chase(He/him): He would be actively trying to learn everything he possibly could about the Laws of Earth. The fact that when Heatwave does eventually leave he will become leader slowly eats away at him until he becomes a walking ball of stress

Alt mode: Dodge Charger pursuit vehicle

Blades(They/them): Blades would be quite home sick, more so than the rest of the group, so they would turn to other things like television to calm down. They would soon come out of their shell and be more open with people. They're not scared of heights, just flying. They would miss their wheels being planted firmly on the ground.

Alt mode: single man rotor helicopter

Boulder(He/him): Of course Boulder would miss home, but he would be super exited about Earth and its wildlife. He would research as much as he possibly could, frequently watching documentaries and or reading all the book he could get his hands on. Eventually he became super knowledgeable about earth and is the bot the rest turn too if they have questions about earth.

Alt Mode: Wheeled Bulldozer

Heatwave(He/it): Heatwave would be the mentor figure of the bots. At first they would be shocked at how he acted around Kade, but they would soon learn that it was more relaxed. Heatwave tries his best to teach the bots about things, and sometimes it becomes useful. It's the bot the rest turn to when they need help mentally or physically. He's very protective of the other bots and would beat itself up is something ever happened to them.

Alt Form: Triple Combination Pumper(Fire engine)

The humans are practically the same and they grow over time. They and the bots become like family after a longer period of time than they do in the show.

I'm still finalizing details, so if you guys have any ideas, please do share!!

Hiya buds! I'm back with the second half of this post!

Just just like last time I added creature mouths because Cybertonians having critter features is so cool to me :3 Unlike last time I don't have as much justification as to why I added these specific features. Boulder has boar tusks and Chase is a vampire, that's right, you heard me, VAMPIRE COP! don't know how or why I came up with this but I did.

Also I realised these are less sketchy than the previous ones... Which I don't really prefer, I like my messy artstyle :(

So I've been rewatching rescue bots after not watching it in years, I never got to finish it when I was younger and I'm so upset that I never!

I just finished watching the episode where blurr and salvage join the team and I'm so happy I came back to this show, it's so amazing and nostalgic for me.

It was litterly the first transformers show I ever watched and how i know about it today!

And I always still stim over optimus when he shows up because.. c'mon WHO DOESN'T LOVE OPTIMUS!!

And blades is still my favourite rescue bot..

Also I still hate Dr morocco..

Heatwave was super fun to do (I definitely went overboard with the colors… even if you can’t see some of them, it’s the thought that counts 😅

It has come to my attention that it is exceptionally hard to put flag colors on a none-white surface and be able to tell what they are, especially with the lighting I chose (I’ll adjust it later so you can actually see the colors and know what flags they represent)

Anyway, time for the list of flags!:

Demi-AroAce on the big flag and on his left shoulder

Bisexual flag on his left shoulder and right foot (this applies to him and Kade)

Pansexual flag on his helmet and left arm-tire

Apagender/Inersgender flag on his windshield, the upper party banner on his ladder, and his right leg-tire (I think… can’t exactly see it bc of the blending mode making it look white, but I think that’s what I put there, I could be wrong, I have bad memory… 😅) btw, apagender just means ‘gender apathy’ or literally not caring abt your gender and how others perceive your gender regardless of if you’re trans or not

Genderqueer flag on his right arm, right leg-tire, and the lower party banner on his ladder

Demiromantic flag on his right arm-wheel thingy (sorry no technical terms today-)

Demisexual flag on his left arm-wheel thingy

Polyamorous flag on his left shoulder (the newer version I’ve seen pop up, mainly because the design is easier to replicate due to the lack of literal Pi symbol. I was originally meant to put it on the big flag, but I was unsure and decided against it)

Finally, the Rainbows: the side of his helmet, his left leg, his right arm-tire, and his windshield

I used quite a few flags on this, huh? I love Heatwave and am mostly projecting my own, personal identities on him, but I do want to be inclusive to as much of the community as possible! I don’t want to come off as disingenuous by throwing flags around for the sake of representation, so just let me know if you find this in any way offensive or hurtful or if you want to let me know if a flag I’ve used is controversial, etc!

I’m always open to criticism, and once more, headcanons for Boulder and the others so I may add on!
